Wow, guys, I'm truly shocked, and honoured. As some of you know, I've just been trekking around Europe and South East Asia and had the time of my life with my lovely wife... and to come back to this pleasant surprise...happy days. I am surprised, I would have thought DOWCW, except for the loyal few the ones I truly would call true friends, would have forgotten, so to get the recognition after leaving it somewhere between mid and end year makes me very happy. It is humbling to see such recognition particularly given some of the brilliant quality that is put up here. All in all, it's gratifying for me to have seen people enjoy a story on WCW's true life dark times as I truly enjoyed those Monday Night Wars, all the cutting edge drama along with ... the luchas!! Indeed, Tristram. It's the fans that make it all work. I'd started following these 2007 Awards purely because I thought it was a great idea of The G-man & Keef to do. I got really interested when I saw the nominations of some of my favorite diaries. Then my diary got nominated in a couple places. I was shocked like Tristram. Sure, I'd gotten positive responces from readers, which I am ever grateful for. But to actually get nominated is a pretty indescribable feeling. And humbling at the same time. Well, I thought that was as far as it would go. I'm a realist. There are a ton of great dynasties out there, and some really first-rate bookers and writers. And then Confessions placed. I was floored! It's an honor and privaledge to be able to craft something enjoyed by so many of you. Trist is right. Without the fans, we may as well just be writing on our computers by ourselves. Having readers that enjoy our work makes this a joy and a treasure. Thanks so much for those who voted for me. It means so much. I'll do my best to maintain the writing tradition I have set for you! Thanks also for those of you who have read my diary, voting or not! It's why I post. I can only hope you enjoy reading as much as I enjoy writing it. It's a singular honor just to have you read!
