Fantastic PPV mate. Don't worry about the length, each bit was gripping so it didn't matter, and not a letter was wasted so it's all good. I loved the taking out of Revolution, the Jeff thing was a great swerve, glad you didn't have Kane come out, it made sense to have Kurt win as Umaga wasn't prepared and Kane will be even angrier when he returns (he was screwed out of the shot and his replacement won, why wouldn't he be) and so many things came together. Love it, love it, love it. Fantastic effort, you just showed why you were DOTM. Loved it.

Mate, you're still going! Congratulations on such a fine long standing diary...nay, this is deserving of the term 'dynasty'. Loved the Pay-Per-View, absolutely loved it. I was sure it was Michaels, but it was Hardy. And it had a purpose. God praise the lord for well thought out booking. Fantastic. Keep it up mate, thoroughly enjoyed it.
HOLY ****! Seriously, I enjoyed No Mercy. It was full of suprizes. But the obvious shock of the night was when Hardy won the WWE Championship. Wow. Anyways KUTGW.
Thanks man. Glad you enjoyed it. And glad I was able to keep it a surprise. We haven't seen Jeff since he was attacked at Unforgiven, and I kept him away so it would come out of nowhere. And it looks like it worked!
Fantastic PPV mate. I wasn't sure how 2 unadvertised title changes (if that makes sense?) would go down, so I'm glad you liked them. We seem to be on the same page regarding Kane, and now the speculation builds for his return.
two quick questions What mod are you using for this ? and did you make the posters yourself ? Sorry bout the questions, as I do not follow wrestling all that much and just started reading this diary, Great read man, KUTGW
Uh... the mod is one of the old hurryzone databases (that was what those Italian guys who used to release monthly updates were called right?) from I think November 07. I dunno how much use that is. Sorry man. :o As for the posters, I didn't make that one but I have made a couple in the past. Think it was Judgment Day and Night of Champions that I made. No Mercy is the official WWE version, and a damn good one at that! And thanks, glad you enjoyed it. :)
Mate, you're still going! It's so much fun to do and I'm so deep into the story that it's impossible to give up now. As I've said, Mania 25 is the aim and I'm determined to get there eventually. And great use of the word "nay" there. Always undervalued in my book. ;) Glad you liked the show man. I dropped a hint about Michaels last week on Raw, then panicked that maybe no-one would remember so I had Styles and Tazz repeat it again. And amen to well thought out booking! I figured if Jeff just came out and tried to use it the rest of Revolution would be on him in a flash, so taking them out seemed the way to go. Plus it made for a nice little who-dunnit? Thanks to everyone who predicted, commented and gave the show a read. The Raw rebound will be up tommorrow night, and you know the Game will have something to say about what happened. ;)

We are just 24 hours removed from No Mercy, and the fallout is sure to be felt in Anaheim, CA tonight. Hello everyone, I’m Jim Ross alongside ‘The King’ Jerry Lawler, and King, No Mercy was an unbelievable night for us all. King: No Mercy was incredible. We thought Triple H had done enough to leave the champion after he defeated Batista, but then out of nowhere, Jeff Hardy cashed in Money in the Bank to become the new WWE Champion. JR: It was certainly a great moment when Jeff Hardy used the Money in the Bank contract to pin Triple H... Heroes by Motorhead plays out... JR: But it certainly wasn’t a great moment for these 5 men. Here comes Revolution. King: And look at the look on Triple H’s face. He does not look happy... Shane: Last night at No Mercy... the Game, Triple H... was robbed! Jeff Hardy... decided now would be a good time to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase. Well Jeff... you just made a huge mistake! You think that by winning the... what am I saying? You think that by stealing the title... you ended the Revolution? You couldn’t be more wrong Jeff. For you Jeff... it’s only just begun. Triple H: You see Jeff... you could have used that briefcase anytime you wanted... on any champion you wanted... on any brand. But for some reason... you decided to cash it in on me. What’s wrong with you Jeff? Are you suicidal? You want to get involved in a war with me? You want to get involved in a war with Revolution? It’s only ever going to end one way Jeff. You stole that title from me, you holding the title is a damn joke! You are the least credible champion in this company’s history. And I’m going to prove it. A Cyber Sunday... I will get my rematch Jeff. And I will prove without a shadow of a doubt... that you are nothing but a fake. Shane: It’s real simple Jeff. You don’t deserve that title, you shouldn’t even be... King: Wait a minute... that’s Jeff Hardy’s music! JR: There he is! The new WWE Champion! Jeff: Man... why don’t you guys just shut the hell up?! I mean... me cashing in Money in the Bank... that was me taking advantage of a situation. A situation I created. I took out Kenny, I took out TJ and I took out Harry... and that left only you Triple H. And when I made my move... I made sure I got it right. And you know what Game? I think you would be impressed with what I did. I mean... you’re the cerebral assassin. You’re ruthless, you’re underhand, hell, the only reason you even had the title was because of Kenny interfering. I did exactly what you would do Game... whatever it takes. And you know what? I will gladly face you at Cyber Sunday... and when I beat you... then I’ll have my credibility! JR: Well the match is set. Jeff Hardy and Triple H, one on one at Cyber Sunday for the WWE Championship. King: Yeah but JR, we both know that at Cyber Sunday the fans are meant to have their say. What do you think the stipulation could be? JR: I don’t know, but if it’s Shane McMahon you gets to think it up, it won’t be good for Jeff. --------------------- Chris Harris v Sheamus O’Shaunessy Sheamus has looked dominant ever since he made his debut, and this does not bode well for Chris Harris who has been on a losing streak as of late. Harris looks to take the fight to Sheamus early, but his early offense has little effect of the mysterious Sheamus. Harris hits right hands, comes off the ropes with a clothesline... nothing. Harris again comes off the ropes... and runs right into a boot to the face. Harris crashes off the mat, and now Sheamus looks to deal out some punishment, nailing Harris with hard forearms before locking Harris into a bearhug. Sheamus wrenches on Harris’s back and shakes from side to side, as Harris cries out in pain. Harris eventually breaks the hold with elbows to the head, and he comes off the ropes... but Sheamus hits a huge clothesline! Harris’ head snaps back off the canvas, and the end looks near, as Sheamus scoops him up... Celtic slam! Sheamus hits his death valley driver, and he hooks the leg... 1... 2... 3. Sheamus O’Shaunessy is absolutely dominant, and when he and Finlay do finally meet, it’s not looking good for the veteran. What are you doing here? Vince: What am I doing here? I think the more appropriate question is... what the hell are you doing here? Shane: What? Vince: What the hell is going on around here? This is Monday Night Raw! I installed you as the general manager because I wanted you two to bring the WWE Championship back into the family! And now... I have this rainbow haired freak as my champion! Triple H: Vince, it wasn’t Shane’s fault. I mean Jeff had... Vince: The briefcase! The briefcase that I told both of you to take off of him before he had a chance to use it. I told you months ago, and did you do it? No! You let him run around, taunting people, threatening to use it, and when he did, he uses to take the title away from Triple H! Shane: Look Dad I... I... Vince: Spare me Shane. I’m sorry, but until you prove to me I can trust you to run my flagship show... you leave me no other choice. Shane: What are you talking about? Vince: As of this time, effective immediately... you are now the co-general manager of Raw. Shane: Co? Triple H: Who the hell is the other guy? Teddy: What’s happenin’ playa? Shane: No... no! Dad... I... you gotta be kiddin’ me! Triple H: What the hell is this Vince? Vince: I’ll tell you what this is. This is me wondering if I can really trust you two anymore to run my flagship show. So... that’s why Teddy here is going to help you out for a bit. But you listen to me... at Cyber Sunday... you better win back that title. And Shane... you better do something to impress me real soon... otherwise, I’ll fire my own son! -------------------- Sheamus O’Shaughnessy is seen walking backstage, a menacing grin on his face despite his victory. Victoria takes control from the first tie up, as she drives Mickie to the corner, before hitting right hands and then taking Mickie to the top rope... suplex off the top! This match could be over in a hurry... 1... 2... Mickie gets the shoulder up. Victoria now locks in a chinlock, as she looks to wear Mickie down. Mickie manages to battle back to her feet, breaking the hold by running Victoria to the ropes and taking her down with a roll-up... 1... 2... Victoria kicks out. More roll-ups and backslides from Mickie lead to plenty of near falls, and when Victoria sends Mickie to the corner, Mickie avoids her with a nice leapfrog... until for a drop toe hold to send her face first into the turnbuckle. Victoria is now back in control, hitting uppercuts and kicks to the gut. Eventually Victoria has Mickie hooked up for the widow’s peak... but Mickie counters with another roll-up... 1... 2... 3! Mickie James pulls a victory out of nowhere! Batista: It was me who took Triple H to the limit, it was me who did all the damage, only for you to turn up with that damn briefcase and take the glory. Jeff: Look man, I did what I had to. Yeah you had a match for the title, but you didn’t get the job done... I did. Batista: And what if I did get the job done? Jeff: What? Batista: If I beat Triple H and won the title, would you have still used that briefcase on me? Jeff: Yeah. Yeah I would. Batista: Well you know what? For once, I agree with Triple H. You don’t deserve that title. And if you were any kind of a credible champion... you’ll give me a title match tonight! Jeff: You want a title match? Alright... you got it. You and me, one on one tonight for the WWE Championship! Batista: Big mistake Jeff. Your title reign is going to go down as one of the shortest reigns in history. Jeff: I don’t think so Dave. When I beat you tonight... I’ll prove to everybody just how credible a champion I am. ---------------------- Cody Rhodes and Chris Jericho v Deuce and Domino The Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes and Chris Jericho team up for tag team action tonight as they face off against the more experienced duo of Deuce and Domino. Cody and Domino start the match, and the Intercontinental Champion shows for far he has come, hitting arm drags and drop toe holds to counter all of Domino’s offense. Frustrated, Domino brings Deuce into the match, but he fares little better, as Cody rocks him with a dropkick before tagging in Jericho. Jericho continues the offense, taking Deuce down with the one handed bulldog before coming off the ropes... lionsault! 1... 2... Domino makes the save. Cody gets the tag, and he goes to the top rope... missle dropkick... no! Cody misses, and Deuce drags him to his corner before tagging in Domino. Decue and Domino use quick tags to work on Cody, hitting hard forearms to the spine before a backbreaker, legdrop combo that gets them a 2 count. Cody is down, and Domino begins to climb to the top rope. He steadies himself, and launches a legdrop... but misses! Cody rolls out of the way, and e crawls his way to tag in Jericho. Jericho charges in, taking down both men, before sending Deuce over the top rope. Domino is left alone in the ring, and when he swings and misses with big right hand, Jericho strikes... codebreaker! As Cody sends Deuce flying off the apron, Jericho goes for the cover... 1... 2... 3! Jericho and Rhodes get the win. Teddy: That’s right playa I did. I took a very interesting phone call that I think you might like to know about. Orton: A phone call? From who? Teddy: From John Cena! Orton: What? Cena? You mean the guy I destroyed in the parking lot brawl last night? What’s his message? Teddy: Well I’m sure you know that John Cena has been laid up in hospital since last night. Well, he’s doing fine, he should be out in a couple of days. And he was sat in his room, watching Monday Night Raw, when he saw me announced as the co-general manager of Raw. Orton: So what? Teddy: So he called me up... and he asked me for one more match with you. And since Cena beat you at Summerslam, and you beat Cena at No Mercy... I figured... you two should have one last match at Cyber Sunday! Orton: What?! What the hell Teddy?! I ended things last night! Teddy: Oh no you didn’t playa. At Cyber Sunday... the fans will decide what kind of match you two will have. That was Cena’s idea too. Orton: Well you get back on the phone and you tell Cena this... at Cyber Sunday... Smith is of course accompanied to the ring by TJ Wilson and Natalya, and it’s a distraction from TJ that lets Harry gain an early advantage. Smith then starts working on Kennedy’s shoulder, throwing him shoulder first into the turnbuckle before locking in an armbar. Eventually Harry clotheslines Kennedy over the top rope, and as he distracts the referee, TJ goes to work on the outside, driving Kennedy into the apron before delivering a stiff kick to Kennedy’s arm. Back in the ring, Harry continues his focused attack, scooping Kennedy up for a shoulderbreaker before dropping the leg across the arm. Harry then scoops Kennedy up for the running powerslam... but Kennedy drops down the back... and nails Harry with a roundhouse enziguri! Both men are down as they try to recover, but both men make it back to their feet and start trading right hands. Eventually Kennedy strings 2 or 3 in a row, before sending Harry off the ropes... back body drop! Harry crashes to the mat, but now TJ is up on the apron... right hand to TJ! Smith again takes advantage of the distraction by hitting a kick to the gut, but when he sends Kennedy off the ropes, Kennedy ducks his clothesline... mic check! Kennedy connects... 1... 2... 3! Kennedy strikes back against Revolution. Mr Kennedy beat Harry Smith (A*) JR: Kennedy has done it! Kennedy beats Harry Smith! King: Well that was a hell of match and... King: And now TJ is back up! JR: This is a mugging now. A 3 on 1 assault from Revolution! King: Well it looked like Kennedy had struck yet another blow to Revolution, but Revolution just answers straight back. ------------------------ As we return from commercial, Carlito and his Cartel are in the ring... Carlito: Last night, Carlito showed everybody that Shawn Michaels is nothing but a washed up loser! Carlito took on HBK... and beat him. And when Carlito spat his apple all over Shawn Michaels face... he showed exactly what Shawn Michaels is all about. He’s done, he has nothing left... he’s washed up. Carlito is the future here on Raw! And from here on in, Carlito is going to prove it! Carlito v Lance Cade With Apolo and Primo at ringside, Carlito is always at an advantage, but Cade has brought his tag team partner Trevor Murdoch with him to slightly even the odds. Carlito starts the match in confident fashion, looking to build on last night’s win, but Cade gains the early advantage with a bulldog. Cade continues to attack, dropping Carlito with a dropkick before hoisting him up for a long vertical suplex. Cade gets a 2 count from that, and he looks to stay on the attack, coming off the ropes... but Primo grabs him by the foot, and as Cade turns around, Carlito nails him with a hard clothesline. Carlito proceeds to apply the boots, before coming off the ropes and hitting a springboard back elbow. The match swings back and forth before Cade takes control with a powerslam. Cade goes for a cover... 1... 2... Apolo jumps on the apron, distracting both Cade and the referee. Cade swings at Apolo, and Murdoch makes his way over to take the fight to Primo. As a brawl ensues on the floor, Carlito comes up from behind... backstabber! Carlito plants Cade and hooks the leg... 1... 2... 3. Once again Carlito steals a win with the help of Primo and Apolo. Jeff: Yeah it could... but it won’t. I’m not going to be some one and done champion. I’m going to be champion for a long time. The Animal comes into this match feeling it was has hard work last night that handed the title to Jeff, so naturally when the bell rings, the Animal looks to turn on the power, as on the first tie up he sends Jeff flying across the ring. Hardy is quickly back on his feet, but Batista drives him to the corner, driving knees into the gut before sending Hardy off the ropes... baseball slide from Hardy, and he catches Batista’s foot... stepover mule kick! Hardy uses his quickness and allusiveness to take the Animal down, before coming off the ropes... Hardy misses the legdrop! Batista now takes control, driving Hardy to the mat with a powerslam and following it up with a backbreaker. Hardy is in bad shape, but there’s no let up from the Animal, as he sends Hardy crashing into the corner with a hard Irish whip. As Hardy bounces out of the corner, Batista charges in... spear... no... sunset flip from Hardy... 1... 2... no! Batista kicks out, and he quickly gets back on his feet... spinebuster! Batista drives Hardy to the mat, and almost immediately he makes the call... thumbs up... thumbs down. He drags Hardy to his feet... hoists him up... Batista-bomb... no... Hardy’s fighting it, and he manages to break free... jawbreaker! Batista is rattled, and Jeff hits a series of right hands to drive Batista to the corner. Irish whip... Batista reverses... whisper in the wind! Hardy has the cover... 1... 2... no! Again Batista kicks out, but Hardy looks to build on the momentum, coming off the ropes... flying clothesline! Hardy takes Batista down again, and he waits for the Animal to get back up... kick to the midsection... twist of fate... no! Batista sends Hardy off the ropes... spinebuster... tornado DDT! Jeff countered the spinebuster, and now he climbs to the top rope... swanton bomb! Jeff hits the swanton, and goes for the cover... 1... 2... 3! Jeff Hardy beat Batista to retain the WWE Championship (B+) JR: Jeff Hardy is still the champion! King: What a great victory for Jeff. He... JR: Oh!
Hercule Poirot would be glad to be involved in a who-dunnit that good. Bravo! Encore!
Once again thanks for the good words tristram. Hopefully Cyber Sunday comes together as another good PPV. And a shout out to anyone who reads this, I'll need votes for CS or else it won't work, so even if you read this and don't want to offer PPV predictions, Cyber Sunday votes are going to be really important!

Perfectly booked show. Your main event had a reason behind it, and it lead further onto something. Perfect sports entertainment booking. Really liking what you're doing with this playa, interested to see how the Teddy Long issue plays out with Shane O'Mac, keep up the fantastic work.

I have to agree wit hthe sentiments on here. Perfect post-PPV booking. The matches made sense and everybody has come out of it with reason to what is going on. I love the ruthlessness of Vince to punish his own son for Jeff winning the title and it makes for interesting situations as Revolution try to gain dominance.

I'm looking forward to the Teddy/Shane O'Mac situation too. If you think about it, you will probably figure out where we're going in the next month. But it should have a few twist and turns along the way.
I don't chipe in all that much but loved the PPV/RAW to follow it up. Very good booking. Vince should hire you. Will be voting!
Again man thanks. Good to know you will be voting! :)
I have to agree with the sentiments on here. Perfect post-PPV booking. It's time for Shane and Revolution to have the pressure put on them. Let's see how they will respond eh? Again guys, thanks for the comments. Here comes ECW...

We are coming to you tonight from Sin City, Las Vegas, NV, and the fallout from No Mercy can still be felt in the land of extreme! Hello everyone, I’m Joey Styles alongside former ECW Champion Tazz, and what a night No Mercy was for us all! Tazz: Well No Mercy was a hell of a night for us. First we saw Shelton Benjamin beat Elijah Burke, then we saw Kurt Angle come out of nowhere to beat Umaga to become the new ECW Champion! Styles: It was also a great night for ECW general manager Mick Foley... but it wasn’t such a great night for these two. Here comes the former ECW Champion Umaga and his manager Armando Estrada. Tazz: And Umaga somehow is looking even more enraged than he usually does... Estrada: My name... haha... is Armando... Estrada! Last night, Umaga was robbed! Umaga was set to face Kane... and wound up facing Kurt Angle! Umaga was cheated by Angle... and he was cheated by Mick Foley. So Angle... since you won that match against John Morrison last week and earned a title shot tonight... and since Umaga was going to beat Kane if he made it to No Mercy... why don’t we have that match anyway? Why don’t you defend that title against Umaga tonight Angle?! C’mon Kurt... have you got the cojones to step into the ring with Umaga, with no surprises? Styles: Well here he comes. Here comes the new ECW Champion! Tazz: Have you ever known Kurt Angle to back down from a challenge Joey? Styles: Nothing springs to mind no... Angle: You want to challenge me Estrada? You want to challenge me to an ECW Championship match? Well... since you have a rematch clause... and since I was set to be in an ECW Title match anyway tonight... you’re on! You and me... one on one... but I swear to God Estrada... this is Umaga’s last chance. It’s true... oh it’s damn true! Styles: Well there you have it. Kurt Angle and Umaga in a No Mercy rematch tonight for the ECW Championship. Tazz: Well I hope Kurt knows what he’s doing. I’d hate to see the title go back to Umaga so quickly. ----------------------- Kevin Thorn v Colt Cabana It’s Cabanarama time once again as Colt Cabana puts his undefeated streak on the line, this time against the ever dangerous Kevin Thorn. Cabana has proved an elusive competitor so far, using speed and his goofy style of offense to keep his opponents off guard. It’s a similar story early on, as when Thorn goes for Cabana, Colt ducks underneath and starts to hit rights and lefts. Thorn pushes him off the ropes and swings with a clothesline, but again he misses... and Colt comes off the ropes... crossbody! 1... 2... Thorn kicks out. This time it’s Thorn who’s sent off the ropes... hurricanrana! Cabana nails him, and now Colt goes to the top rope, steadies himself... missile dropkick... no! Thorn makes him miss, and now Thorn turns on the power, scooping Cabana up and nailing him with a backbreaker. Big boots, a gutbuster and a shoulderbeaker follow as Thorn continues to apply pressure. Eventually Thorn feels he has softened Cabana up enough, and he drags him to his feet, hoists him up... crucifix powerbomb... no! Cabana hooks his legs around Thorn, rolls down the back... Colt has the roll up... 1... 2... 3! Cabana has done it! He adds another victory to his amazing streak! Colt Cabana beat Kevin Thorn (C+) ---------------------- Backstage, the ECW general manager is confronted by his Smackdown counterpart... Foley: JBL... I assume you’re here tonight regarding this challenge you have for me? JBL: That’s right Foley I am. Foley: Well... let’s hear it. What’s your challenge? JBL: I want to show the world that Smackdown is a far superior brand to ECW. I want to put Smackdown back on the map... and to do that... I’ll need you to choose somebody as an ECW representative in a match I have planned. Foley: So you want me to pick somebody to take on a Smackdown guy in a match right? JBL: That’s right. No, at Cyber Sunday, my champion MVP will be defending his title, and I’m going to let the fans decide his opponent. I assume you’ll be doing the same? Foley: I had planned on it yeah. JBL: So obviously champions are out. But at Cyber Sunday... I’ll pick a guy, you pick a guy... and we’ll let the fans decide what kind of match they have. And then... my guy on Smackdown will prove we’re the better brand. Foley: Alright... on behalf of ECW, I accept your challenge. JBL: I knew you would. Foley: So when do I pick my guy? JBL: You can do it whenever you want. I’ll be announcing mine this Friday night... and your guy better be good... cause my guy is going to be great! Foley: Oh... I think I have somebody in mind... --------------------- Styles: Well certainly an interesting challenge from JBL. A battle of the brands match for Cyber Sunday. Tazz: Well JBL, I got news for you buddy. This is ECW! We don’t back down from nobody! You want to pick a fight with us? You got it! Styles: Whoa, easy there Tazz. You’re getting pumped aren’t you? Tazz: Pick me Foley, I’ll represent ECW. I can still go. Can’t I? Styles: Uh... sure you could. Well our next match is going to feature the Cruiserweight Champion Brian Kendrick and... well here he comes now and... Tazz: That’s an interesting new look for Brian. Styles: And who’s that guy with him? Tazz: I don’t know. Maybe Brian will tell us now... Kendrick: Last Friday night... I turned my back on Paul London. And everybody was saying but Brian, how can you turn your back on Paul like that? Well you know what? I don’t give a damn about Paul London! I have been carrying Paul London for years. I win the Cruiserweight Championship, I get drafted to ECW, and I think, finally I’m free of him. But no... Paul has to come crying back to me, begging me to help him win the tag team titles. Paul just wanted to ride on the back of my success. Well... screw Paul London... and screw all of you people too! ------------------------- Brian Kendrick v Stevie Richards Not only does Kendrick have a different look and personality, his in ring style also seems to have changed, as he starts the match nailing Richards with vicious kicks to the thigh and then drops Richards with a stiff kick to the head. Kendrick continues to apply the boots on the ground, as he aims kicks at Richards’ ribs and another shot to the head. Kendrick then locks Richards in a chinlock, all the while hitting forearms across the face. Kendrick eventually let’s go, but only so he can hit more offense, as he goes to the top rope... missile dropkick! Kendrick goes for the cover... 1... 2... Richards hangs on. Kendrick mounts Richards and starts raining down with rights and lefts, before sending Richards to the corner. Kendrick charges in... but Richards gets the boot up. Now it’s Richards who starts nailing kicks, unloading on Kendrick in the corner. Richards takes Kendrick with a snap mare and hits a stiff kick to the spine, before coming off the ropes... dropkick! Richards hooks the leg... 1... 2... Kendrick kicks out. Richards looks like he might be able to put together a series of moves to win the match, but when he sends Kendrick off the ropes, Kendrick ducks his right hand, kicks him in the gut and then runs Richards to the corner... sliced bread! Kendrick nails it, hooks the leg... 1... 2... 3. An impressive win for the new look Brian Kendrick. Brian Kendrick beat Stevie Richards (C+) ----------------------- Backstage, Anastacia Rose is ready to interview the ECW Champion... Rose: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time, he is the ECW Champion... Kurt Angle! And Kurt, last Sunday at No Mercy you beat Umaga to become the ECW Champion. But tonight, you face Umaga in a No Mercy rematch. You’re title reigns not going to end so soon is it? Angle: What? There is no chance my title reign ends tonight. I heard Estrada say earlier that I had the element of surprise in my favour at No Mercy. Well tonight, there will be no surprises. There will be no controversy. There’s just going to be one winner... and it’s going to be me! Oh it’s true... it’s damn true. ----------------------- Shelton Benjamin v Nunzio This was always going to be a tough match for little Nunzio, and with Shelton coming off a win over Elijah Burke at No Mercy, the odds were high for a gold standard victory. Straight for the first tie up, Benjamin overpowers Nunzio, driving him to the corner before an Irish whip sends Nunzio across... big splash from Benjamin! Nunzio staggers out of the corner, and Benjamin bounces off the ropes... roundhouse kick! Nunzio slumps to the mat and Benjamin goes for an early cover... 1... 2... Nunzio gets the shoulder up. Benjamin continues to apply pressure, getting close falls from a bridging German suplex and a tornado DDT. Just as it looks like Nunzio is done, he manages to make Benjamin miss in the corner, before quickly going to the second rope for a missile dropkick. Nunzio then locks on an armbar, but eventually Benjamin battles back to his feet, breaking the hold with elbows to the gut before throwing Nunzio off the ropes... kick to the gut... t-bone suplex! 1... 2... Nunzio barely gets the shoulder up. Nunzio can barely get back on his feet, and when he does, Benjamin is waiting for him... paydirt! Benjamin hits the paydirt, hooks the leg... 1... 2... 3! Shelton Benjamin keeps the momentum going with a victory over Nunzio. Shelton Benjamin beat Nunzio (B-) ------------------------ Styles: Welcome back to ECW on Sci-Fi folks. Just before our main event tonight, we’d like to give you all an update on the condition of Kane. As you know, Kane has brutally attacked by Umaga last Tuesday night. Kane was sent crashing into an electrical circuit box, the area went up in flames, Kane suffered serious burns and was not medically cleared to compete in his scheduled ECW Championship match at No Mercy. Tazz: Right and what we’ve heard is that Kane was obviously very distraught due to the injuries he suffered, very upset at the fact Kurt Angle took his spot in the championship match and wound up winning the title. Styles: As of this time, Kane is still in the hospital recovering from his injuries. Obviously he wish Kane all the best in his recovery, and we hope to see him back on Sci-Fi pretty soon. Tazz: Well now we’ve got that out of the road, it’s main event time! -------------------- ECW Championship Match Kurt Angle (C) v Umaga With there being no surprises in this one, Umaga starts the match warily, not looking to attack so freely as he did at No Mercy. Both men tie up, and it’s the former champion who gains the advantage, driving Angle to the corner and nailing him with right hands. Umaga then sends Angle across... but he misses in the corner. Now Angle hits right hands, and he sends Umaga off the ropes... reversal... oh! Heel kick from Umaga finds the mark. Angle’s head crashes off the mat, and Umaga drags him towards the corner, propping his head on the bottom turnbuckle. Umaga then goes to the opposite corner and lines Angle up... he charges in... oh! Angle’s head snaps back as Umaga hits him full force. Umaga goes for the cover... 1... 2... Angle has a foot on the rope. Estrada urges Umaga to turn up the heat, and Umaga complies, dropping Angle with a giant swing before climbing to the second rope... diving headbutt connects! We could have a new champion... 1... 2... no! Angle barely gets the shoulder up. Umaga continues to punish the champion, nailing Kurt with boots before hitting a legdrop. Umaga then scoops Angle up, placing him upside down in the corner in a tree of woe position. Umaga then retreats to the opposite corner, where he once again lines Angle up... charges in... flying headbutt! Angle drops to the mat and it looks like it’s over, but Umaga has other ideas. He lines Angle up before slowly climbing to the top rope. When there, Umaga lines Angle up... Samoan splash... no! Angle roll out of harm’s way, and now it’s the champion who goes on the attack, kicking away at Umaga as he gets back to his knees. Uppercuts follow, before Angle comes up from behind... German suplex! Umaga is rattled, and Angle looks to attack... Angle slam... no! Umaga... Samoan splash... no! Angle is fighting it... he gets back on his feet... Umaga swings with a right hand... Angle ducks... Angle slam! Angle slam! This time Angle hits it, and he hooks the leg... 1... 2... 3! Kurt Angle has done it! He retains the ECW Championship! Kurt Angle beat Umaga to retain the ECW Championship (A) Styles: He’s done it again! Kurt Angle has once again beaten Umaga! Tazz: And man am I glad that Kurt is still the champ. That was great match, and we’ve got one hell of a champion right now! Styles: Thank you everybody for joining us for ECW on Sci-Fi! Goodnight! ------------------------ Colt Cabana beat Kevin Thorn (C+) Brian Kendrick beat Stevie Richards (C+) Shelton Benjamin beat Nunzio (B-) Kurt Angle beat Umaga to retain the ECW Championship (A) Overall: B+

We are sold out in Las Vegas, NV as we begin the countdown to Cyber Sunday, the most interactive pay per view of the year. Hello everyone, I’m Michael Cole, alongside Jonathan Coachman, and Coach, No Mercy once again saw MVP retain the World Heavyweight Championship. Coach: And did I not say that would happen? Did I not say MVP would still be the champion? I mean seriously Cole, you people have got to start listening to me more often. I am always money when it comes to MVP. Cole: Well certainly MVP did prevail in his match with Bobby Lashley, we also had the six man tag team match that saw Matt Hardy, Rey Mysterio and the Big Show overcome Edge, Paul Burchill and Santino Marella... and here comes the World Heavyweight Champion now. MVP is making his way to the ring. Coach: And look at him Cole. The man who is on his way to becoming the greatest champion in Smackdown history, even greater than out current general manager. Cole: Are you after a raise or something? MVP: Once again, I stepped into the ring and I beat whatever challenger got thrown at me. At No Mercy, I dominated Bobby Lashley, I kicked him right in the head, and I retained my World Heavyweight Championship. Now, on Tuesday night, I saw JBL on ECW. And I heard him say that he was going to let the fans choose my opponent for Cyber Sunday. Well, to all you people out there thinking that you can make a difference, that you can pick the man who could become the next World Heavyweight Champion... I got news for you all... don’t bother. Don’t bother wasting your money by texting in, don’t bother thinking anything you people do is worth a damn. There is nobody, and I mean nobody left on this brand that I haven’t faced and beating for my World Heavyweight Championship. CM Punk, Rey Mysterio, Bobby Lashley, Edge... I beat everybody! You people think you can make a difference? You people don’t have a damn clue! So to JBL... it doesn’t matter who you pick... I’m still going to better than them... and I’m still going to be the World Heavyweight Champion. Cole: Well a very confident sounding MVP. It’s true that since MVP beat The Undertaker at Night of Champions he has been on a roll, will that roll continue at Cyber Sunday? Coach: Of course it will. Like I said Cole, you need to listen to me and MVP. If we say MVP will retain, he will retain. It’s that simple. ---------------------- Jamie Noble v Paul London After the disappointment of having Brian Kendrick abandon him during the tag team title match last week, London is out to re-establish himself as a singles competitor. He starts tonight with Jamie Noble, a match with Brian Kendrick for the Cruiserweight Championship can’t be that far away. Right from the bell London looks to take out his frustrations Noble, flying off the ropes and hitting dropkicks and flying forearms. Noble rolls to the outside to try and regroup but London won’t let up... summersault plancha... no! Noble moves and London crashes off the floor. Noble takes full advantage, driving London into the apron before sending him back into the ring. Noble now goes to work, focusing on London’s right knee that he appears to have hurt on the landing of the plancha. Noble stomps away at London’s knee before dropping the leg across it and then taking London back down with a legdrag. Noble then locks on a modified figure four, leaving London crying out in pain. Eventually London makes it to the ropes, but Noble grabs his foot as both men get back to their feet... enziguri! London nails Noble, and now he goes on the attack, hitting right hands before running Noble to the corner... tornado DDT! Noble is stunned, and London charges at him... hurricanrana! Noble is down, and London looks to finish him off... standing shooting star press! London hooks the leg... 1... 2... 3! Paul London picks up the win, and no doubt he’ll have his sights fully set on Brian Kendrick. Why am I not getting my shot at Burchill tonight? JBL: Don’t you ever burst into my office like that! You’re going to have to learn a lot about respect Hardy. Hardy: Mysterio got Santino, Big Show’s taking on Edge tonight... so why aren’t I taking on Burchill? JBL: Hardy, you had a rematch with Burchill just a couple of weeks ago. I’m not so sure if you really deserve another shot at him just now. Hardy: What? JBL: So I tell you what. If the fans decided they really want to see another Burchill and Hardy match... then they can vote for you at Cyber Sunday. Hardy: Cyber Sunday? So... who are the other two guys? JBL: Well... it’s actually two guys who were involved in that six man tag with you at No Mercy. Santino Marella... and the Big Show! Hardy: Well... you better hope the fans vote for me at Cyber Sunday... or you’re gonna regret it. ----------------------- Andy Douglas and Chase Stevens v Cryme Tyme Cryme Tyme are back in action tonight as they take on Douglas and Stevens, with both teams looking for a win to inch them closer to a possible title match with Hawkins and Ryder. Shad and Douglas kick things off, with Douglas trying to compete with Shad’s power early on. Douglas looks to use speed off the ropes, but he runs into a shoulderblock from Shad. The big guy then drops Douglas with sidewalk and scoop slams before tagging in JTG. JTG drops Douglas with a neckbreaker, but when he sends him off the ropes, Stevens gets the blind tag. JTG hits clothesline, but he walks right into a dropkick from Stevens. Douglas and Stevens make plenty of tags as they work on JTG, hitting DDTs and diving clotheslines before Stevens gets a long 2 count after a moonsault off the top rope. Douglas then positions himself on the top rope, as Stevens readies himself to hit JTG with a powerbomb... but JTG counters with a back body drop before diving for his corner and tagging in Shad. Douglas comes off the top rope, only to be caught by Shad... who hits a huge belly to belly overhead. Shad then cleans house, knocking down both men before sending Stevens over the top rope. Douglas staggers back to his feet, and when he does, Shad is waiting for him... he scoops him up, and here comes JTG... G9! Get double team move from Cryme Tyme, and Shad has the cover... 1... 2... 3! Ryder: So... you want to help you with the Big Show tonight? Edge: No... no I think I’ll handle this myself. Ryder: What? Hawkins: Why wouldn’t you want us out there? Edge: Because I don’t know if I can really trust you guys anymore. Listen I uh... I got somewhere to go right now. As you would expect, this match was fast paced from the get go, with Sydal flying around the ring, hitting a hurricanrana and a step up enziguri. Kidman fires back with a dropkick followed up with a springboard legdrop, as the match swings back and forth. Kidman eventually takes control, using a veteran move to dodge Sydal’s springboard moonsault attempt. Kidman attacks with boots before getting a 2 count after a fireman carry neckbreaker. Kidman then looks to slow the match down with a reverse chinlock, trying to wear down Sydal. Eventually Sydal fights his way back up, and when he does he counters with an armdrag, before quickly getting back up and hitting a roundhouse kick. Sydal gets a 2 count, but again the match swings in Kidman’s favour when he reverses a hurricanrana into a powerbomb. Sydal barley manages to kick out, before Kidman places him on the top ropes. Kidman then climbs up himself, and it looks like he’s going to hit a frankensteiner... but Sydal holds onto the ropes. Kidman crashes to the mat, and Sydal steadies himself... shooting star press! Sydal connects, and he quickly hooks the leg... 1... 2... 3! So what’s the deal here? JBL: Well... you three gentlemen are the last three men that MVP defended his title against. Punk at Summerslam, Mysterio at Unforgiven and Lashley at No Mercy. So I was thinking... that at Cyber Sunday... I’ll let the fans decide which one of you three gets another shot at MVP. Mysterio: One of us gets another shot? JBL: That’s right. Punk: And the fans get to choose? JBL: Absolutely. Now... you better get out of here Rey. Your match with Santino is next... ---------------------- Rey Mysterio v Santino Marella After weeks of taunting and bad mouthing, Mysterio and Santino finally meet. Straight from the first bell, Mysterio takes control, hitting right hands before coming off the ropes and taking Santino down with a headscissor takedown. Santino tires to cower in the corner, but Mysterio keeps the pressure on, hitting more right hands before sending Santino across... no, Santino reverses... Mysterio with the springboard crossbody... no! Santino ducks and Mysterio crashes off the mat. Santino now stomps away on Rey before dropping the elbow and getting a 2 count. Santino now starts to focus on the lower back of Rey, hitting a backbreaker before locking in a camel clutch. Mysterio counters by throwing Santino forward, and as the Italian gets hung up on the ropes, Mysterio charges in... 619... no! Santino hits a clothesline, before driving his elbow in Mysterio’s spine. Santino then sends Rey off the ropes, but Mysterio ducks his clothesline, and starts unloading with kicks to the thigh. Mysterio then bounces off the ropes and hits a dropkick to the back, and once again Santino is in position. Rey bounces off the ropes... 619! Santino hits the mat, and Mysterio bounces off the top rope... droppin’ da dime! Mysterio nails it, and he goes for the cover... 1... 2... 3! MVP: Between three guys I already beat! I mean, what is JBL thinking? Punk, Mysterio and Lashley? I may as well not even show up for Cyber Sunday. It’s going to be the easiest night of my career. Like I said earlier... you people at home might as well save your money... cause I’ll beat anybody you put infront of me. ---------------------- Edge v Big Show After their match a few weeks ago was interrupted by Hawkins and Ryder coming to the rescue of Edge, tonight sees Edge and the big Show go at it one more time. This time however, with Edge telling Hawkins and Ryder not to get involved, it looks like we could have a clear winner. Big Show tries to corner Edge early on, but Edge ducks and starts nailing right hands to the gut in the corner. Big Show however just pushes Edge across the ring, but Edge goes back on the attack, aiming kicks at the midsection. Big Show rocks Edge with a headbutt, but again Edge charges in... this time he gets caught however, as Big Show hoists him into the air... gorilla press slam! Edge crashes off the mat, and Big Show starts chopping down on Edge’s chest. Edge is tossed from pillar to post, but when Big Show sends him off the ropes, Edge slides underneath his big boot and takes him down with a chop block. Edge goes to work on Big Show’s knee, stomping away, driving his knee and hitting legdrops across it. Big Show struggles back to his feet, and Edge immediately jumps on his back, locking in a sleeper. Big Show slowly starts to fade, and eventually he’s down to one knee. The referee comes over and lefts Show’s arm... it drops. Again the arm goes up... again it drops. The referee holds Show’s arm up for a third time... and this time it stays up! Big Show battles back to his feet, and with Edge still clinging to his neck, he backs up into the corner. Edge is squashed, and as Big Show goes for another headbutt, Edge out of desperation grabs the referee! Big Show looks to move the ref out of the way... and Edge hits a low blow! Big Show staggers around the ring, and Edge comes off the ropes... spear! Edge hits the spear, and he goes for the cover... 1... 2... 3. Edge beat Big Show (A) Cole: Well credit to Edge. He said he would take care of things with the Big Show by himself, and he did it. Coach: Well ever since JBL challenged Edge to bring back the old Edge, I’ve seen a different side of him. He looks much more focused, he looks... Cole: Wait a minute... that’s JBL’s music. What is the general manager doing out here? JBL: Edge... congratulations. That’s the Edge I marvelled at while I sat behind the commentary desk, that’s the Edge I wanted to unleash when I called you out a couple of weeks ago. You see, the reason I did that Edge was because I am preparing for a war against ECW. I’m sick and tired of this third rate brand taking spots on pay per views away from my Smackdown guys. I’m sick of tired of Mick Foley thinking he’s got something special going on over there, when the real stars of the WWE are here on Friday nights! So Edge... I need you to lead my brand into battle. You may have heard me on Tuesday night say I would choose somebody from Smackdown to represent us in a match at Cyber Sunday. Well Edge... I choose you! I choose you, and I want you to go to Cyber Sunday... and I want you to prove how great Smackdown is. I want you to put us back on the map... and when you do... I will be grateful. And trust me Edge... you will be rewarded. Coach: Wow! JBL has chosen Edge to represent Smackdown at Cyber Sunday. Cole: JBL continues his war with Mick Foley and ECW. But how much of this is about Smackdown, and how much of this is just a personal vendetta from the GM? --------------------- Backstage, Eve Torres is standing by... Eve: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guests at this time... I’m going out there tonight to prove to all the fans that I deserve another shot at MVP at Cyber Sunday. Punk: Well... I gotta admit, that’s kinda why I’m going out there too. I want that Cyber Sunday spot, and I’ll do whatever it takes to get it. Hardy: I’m going out there for one thing... Paul Burchill! He and William Regal have robbed me of every chance I had a getting back the United States Championship. At Cyber Sunday... I want the fans to vote for me, so I can finally reclaim what’s mine! ---------------------- Montel Vontavious Porter, Paul Burchill and William Regal v CM Punk, Bobby Lashley and Matt Hardy Burchill and Lashley start things off in this match, a true match-up of power v power. Lashley runs the ropes and hits a shoulderblock... but Burchill doesn’t budge. Burchill gives it a shot... but Lashley doesn’t move either. Burchill again comes off the ropes, and this time tries a crossbody... but Lashley catches him... fallaway slam! Lashley now tags in Matt Hardy, who is desperate to get his hands on the United States Champion. Hardy enters the ring with a legdrop off the second rope, before nailing Burchill with forearms. More brawling between the two happens, before Hardy delivers a kick to the gut... twist of fate... no! Burchill breaks free and dives for his corner to tag in Regal. Regal charges in... right into a back body drop! CM Punk now gets the tag, and he nails Regal with several kicks, before going for a big roundhouse... but Regal ducks... Regal cutter! Regal drives Hardy to the mat, and tags in MVP. MVP, Burchill and Regal make several tags, all the while working on Hardy. Burchill hits an overhead belly to belly, MVP hits a sick knee to the head while Regal locks on the Regal stretch. Hardy cries out, and just as it looks like he’s going to tap, Punk breaks the hold with a kick to the head. This brings MVP, Burchill and Lashley into the ring, and pretty quick a six man brawl ensues. Regal and Lashley start battling, and over in the corner Punk and Burchill trade right hands. MVP though sees an opening an as Hardy struggles back to his feet, he runs in... drive by kick... spear! Lashley hits a spear, but here comes Burchill... back body drop over the top rope! Regal is left alone, and as he turns around, both Punk and Lashley go for him... and then square off with each other! With these two out for Cyber Sunday votes, it’s obvious they both want to be the man to finish this match off, but know they’re getting in each other’s faces! Regal is back up, but here comes Hardy... twist of fate! Hardy hits it, goes for the cover, while Lashley and Punk stop MVP and Burchill making the save... 1... 2... 3! Hello everyone, I’m Jim Ross alongside Jerry Lawler, and King, last week we learned it will be Jeff Hardy and Triple H one on one for the WWE Championship at Cyber Sunday. King: Right and we know there will be some sort of stipulation for the fans to vote on, but we don’t know what that stipulation is yet. Hopefully we’ll find out tonight. JR: Well hopefully we’ll find out tonight... Heroes by Motorhead plays out... JR: Or maybe we’ll find out right now. Here comes Shane McMahon and Revolution. King: Well last week we also found out Teddy Long is now the co-general manager with Shane, so I’m guessing any announcement will concern him too. Shane: As you all know, at Cyber Sunday, it will be Jeff Hardy and Triple H one on one for the WWE Championship. Now, obviously a match of this importance, a match in which we want no controversy, like the absolute sham that took place at No Mercy, needs a strong man in control of it. Therefore, myself and Teddy Long have decided that you the fans will choose the referee for this match. The three candidates are... King: Wait a minute... that’s Teddy Long’s music. JR: Well here comes the co-general manager. Teddy Long is in the ring with a microphone... Teddy: Now Shane... I thought we talked about this backstage. We were going to choose the candidates together. There isn’t a chance I’m going to let you pick three on your own. Shane: Alright. Let’s pick then. I’ll pick two, and you can pick one. How’s that sound? Teddy: Well to be honest... King: What? Wait... it’s Jeff Hardy! JR: It seems like the WWE Champion wants to be a part of this too. Jeff now making his way down to the ring... Jeff: Wait a second. You guys didn’t think I would let you do this on your own do you? If anything’s going down tonight, I want to be a part of it. Shane: Alright. I’m here, Triple H is here, Jeff’s here, Teddy’s here. Now can we please get on with this? To go onto the ballot to be chosen as the referee for Cyber Sunday, I choose... me! King: What?! JR: Oh c’mon. You gotta be kiddin’ me? Shane McMahon wants to referee the match at Cyber Sunday? Teddy: You choose yourself? Alright playa. How’s this sound to you? I choose to go on the ballot... Stone Cold Steve Austin! JR: The Texas rattlesnake! The man who refereed at Cyber Sunday last year! King: And a man who hates Triple H! Shane: OK... me or Austin. Now... what about the third choice? I mean... I can’t think of anybody better than... Vince McMahon! Jeff: Shane... as Vince would say... no chance in hell! Teddy: I gotta agree playa. I’m not down with that. Shane: Then who’s going to be the third guy? WOOOO King: No way! JR: I don’t believe it! King: Is it really him? JR: It is! Ric Flair! The nature boy! King: We haven’t seen Flair since Randy Orton retired him at Wrestlemania. JR: And is he on his way out here to put himself forward as the third referee? Flair: Wooo! The nature boy... wooo... is back on Monday Night Raw! Wooo! Shane: Whoa, whoa... Ric... what the hell are you doing here? Flair: Well Shane... the question is not why am I here... the question is... which two people in this ring asked me to be here tonight? Shane: You two? Teddy, Jeff... you two set this up? Teddy: That’s right playa. Now... hear me out. I wanted someone who I knew both Jeff and Triple H would feel comfortable with. Ric and Jeff... both from the Carolinas. Both got a lot of respect from each other. And we all know the history between Ric and Triple H. But I know... a hall of famer like Ric Flair... if selected... he’ll call it straight down the middle. So Shane... Triple H... do we have a deal? Shane: Alright. We got a deal... on one condition. Jeff... you defend the WWE Championship tonight! Jeff: Deal. Who against? Shane: Against me in a ladder match! And when I beat you tonight Jeff... I will personally forfeit the title... to Triple H! King: Oh my God JR! Jeff and Shane in a ladder match tonight! JR: And the WWE Championship will be on the line. And now we know who you can vote for to be the referee at Cyber Sunday. Shane McMahon, Steve Austin and Ric Flair! ----------------------- Carlito v Trevor Murdoch Last week saw Carlito score a win over Lance Cade, and much like his victory over Shawn Michaels at Cyber Sunday, Primo and Apolo played their part in the win. Tonight, Cade and Murdoch are back for more, this time with Murdoch in the ring and Cade trying to keep Primo and Apolo at bay at ringside. As the bell rings, Cade and Apolo get in each other’s faces on the outside, but it’s Murdoch who takes advantage, hitting Carlito from behind before sending him off the ropes... back body drop! Murdoch starts teeing off with right hands and kicks to the gut, but when he comes off the ropes, Primo grabs him by the foot... and Carlito drives the knee into Murdoch’s back sending him to the outside. Carlito then picks a fight with Cade to distract the referee, with Apolo and Primo nailing Murdoch. Murdoch is thrown back into the ring, where Carlito goes to work, hitting a swinging neckbreaker and a springboard elbow. Murdoch tries to rally by hitting a boot to the gut, but when he sends Carlito to the corner, Carlito leapfrogs Murdoch charging in... backstabber... no! Murdoch grabs the top rope and holds on. Carlito staggers back to his feet, and Murdoch has him set up... ace of spades... no! Carlito counters with a back body drop, and now it’s Murdoch who staggers back up... backstabber! Carlit hits the backstabber, and as egos for the cover, Primo and Apolo jump Cade from behind... 1... 2... 3. Carlito beat Trevor Murdoch (B+) JR: Well another win for Carlito. King: Yeah but once again Apolo and Primo played their part. They... JR: Hey... Listen, both of you, I’m not booking either of you for Cyber Sunday. Kenny is getting his chance at the Intercontinental Championship and Cody Rhodes, so you two are... Finlay: Well why don’t you put your money where your mouth is Shane? Michaels: Exactly. Why don’t you let the fans decide what match they want to see? The fans can choose. Me and Carlito, Finlay and Sheamus... or Kenny and Cody? Finlay: Unless you’re scared people won’t want to see the match you want them to? Shane: You think I’m afraid to trust my instinct? Alright, you got it. The fans will pick. But don’t be upset when Kenny leaves Cyber Sunday the new Intercontinental Champion, and you two don’t have anything to do that night. ----------------------- Melina, Beth Phoenix and Victoria v Mickie James, Candice Michelle and Maria The Women’s Champion Melina leads her team into a match against three challengers she has beaten recently to defend her title. Victoria starts the match with Mickie James, looking for revenge after losing to James last week. Mickie starts the match fast, bouncing around the ring, taking Victoria down with clotheslines before coming off the ropes... thesz press! Mickie rains down with rights and lefts, before tagging in Candice. Candice comes in, taking Victoria down with a headscissor takedown before dropping the elbow. Another tag is made is made to Maria, and while early on she does some damage, her inexperience shows as Victoria nails her with a hard clothesline. Quick tags follow between Beth and Melina, as they target Maria, with Melina hitting a split legged neckbreaker before Beth hits a backbreaker. Phoenix then has Maria in position for the glam slam... but Maria counters into a wheelbarrow bulldog! Maria crawls to the corner to tag in Mickie, and it doesn’t take long for all six women to wind up in the ring. Candice and Victoria battle to the outside, before Maria is dumped outside, leaving Mickie alone with Beth and Melina. Mickie does her best to fight, but the numbers catch up with her, and soon Melina and Beth look to double team her. Melina holds her in place, and here comes Beth... but she misses and nails Melina! Candice is back in to take out Beth, and here comes Mickie... roundhouse kick! Mickie goes for the cover... 1... 2... 3! Mickie grabs the win for her team, while Melina and Beth argue their way back up the ramp. Randy, do you feel like you can beat John Cena again? Orton: Cena... I know you’re not here tonight. I know you’re at home, still recovering from your injuries from No Mercy, watching tonight. So Cena... I say this to you... don’t show up for Cyber Sunday. I drove you head first into a truck. I pinned you in a pool of your own blood. I know you’re hurt Cena. As the bell rings, Snitsky goes straight for Cody, looking for a big clothesline early. Cody uses his quickness and ducks, before scoring right hands. Snitsky pushes Cody away, and this time he goes for a big boot... again Cody ducks and starts hitting right hands. Cody goes for an Irish whip, but Snitsky reverses... Cody ducks another clothesline... but this time the big boot connects! Cody crashes off the mat, and Snitsky starts stomping away at him. Snitsky then drags Cody back to his feet, before sending him to the corner, and charging in... but Cody ducks the big boot and Snitsky gets hung up on the ropes. Cody now starts aiming kicks at Snitsky legs, before coming out of the corner with a bulldog. Cody gets a 2 count, and tries to stay on the attack, coming off the ropes... crossbody! 1... 2... again Snitsky kicks out. Cody now climbs to the top rope, and waits for Snitsky to get back to his feet... crossbody off the top... no! Snitsky catches him, and he quickly sets him up... pumphandle slam... no! Cody comes down the back, kick to the gut... DDT! Cody hits the DDT and quickly hooks the leg... 1... 2... 3! Batista: Alright. Listen... do me a favour? At Cyber Sunday... make sure you kick Triple H’s ass! Jeff: Alright. Hey... what about you? Are you going to be at Cyber Sunday? Batista: Well... earlier tonight, somebody came to me with a very interesting proposition. I’ll be at Cyber Sunday... but whether I’m in a match or not... that’ll be up to the fans. ---------------------- Canadian Bulldogs v Hardcore Holly and Chris Harris A rare tag team outing for the Bulldogs, who it seems recently have spent more time helping Triple H defend his title than defend their own. Holly and Smith start the match, with the champions taking control quickly, with Smith countering Holly’s suplex attempt with a vertical suplex of his own. Smith then starts hitting right hands as he takes Holly to the corner, but the veteran reverses, before he starts chopping away at Harry’s chest. Holly then whips Harry across the ring, but as Holly charges in, he winds up going shoulder first into the ringpost. Harry and TJ then uses plenty of tags to focus on Holly, including hitting a great combo where Smith hits a suplex and TJ and hits an splash off the top rope for a long 2 count. TJ tries to focus on Holly’s arm, but when he locks in an armbar, Holly fights back to his feet and breaks the hold by sending TJ off the ropes and nailing him with a dropkick. Holy then crawls to his corner and tags in Harris, and he starts unloading on both Smith and Wilson. Harry is clotheslined over the top rope, and Harris looks to end the match by putting TJ away. He sends Wilson off the ropes, kicks him in the gut... swinging side slam... no! TJ hits a series of elbows, before taking Harris down with a neckbreaker. Wilson struggles back to his feet, but Holly is waiting for him... and he gets him up... Alabama slam... no! Smith saves his partner, before scooping Holly up... running powerslam! Harry goes for the cover as TJ keeps Harris from making the save... 1... 2... 3. Canadian Bulldogs beat Hardcore Holly and Chris Harris (C+) King: Well these youngsters Smith and Wilson... once again they did enough to get the job done. JR: They certainly did. I’m not sure who could step up and challenge these two... KENNEDY King: What? JR: Mr Kennedy? Well... Kennedy is out here on the ramp but... what’s he doing here? Kennedy: I want you two in the ring to listen to me and listen good. Now, I know we all used to be part of Revolution together, but ever since you guys turned on me and kicked me out, you have been a pain in my ass! Not just my ass either, a lot of guys backstage are sick and tired of you two. So, I made a proposition to Teddy Long... and now I got a little challenge for you both. At Cyber Sunday... I challenge you two to defend those titles against me! Smith: Wait a minute... you challenge us? As in you, yourself? You challenge us to a handicap match? Kennedy: A handicap match? Don’t be so damn stupid! No not a handicap match! I’ll have a partner. Or at least... I will when the fans choose for me. You see, I approached three men backstage to be my partner... and all three of them said yes. So... I’ll let the fans decide which one I team with to take on you two. Wilson: Alright. So who’s the three guys? Kennedy: Well how about... the Animal, Batista! Or... Chris Jericho! Or maybe... the Undertaker! Like I said, I’ll let the fans decide. But whoever they pick... I like my chances of beating you two for those titles! King: JR... Cyber Sunday is really starting to shape up! Flair: It has yeah. Triple H: And Ric... you know you and me go way back. Back to... Evolution. I know you know all about the current day version. Flair: Well yeah. I mean this Revolution... very impressive. Triple H: And I also know... that if you’re selected at Cyber Sunday... you’ll call things in my favour. Flair: What? Triple H: Oh c’mon Naitch! We both know Jeff Hardy is stupid as hell to trust you. I mean you’re Ric Flair, the dirtiest player in the game! You’re gonna call this my way, I know you will. Flair: Listen Game... if I get picked to referee your match... I will call it straight down the line. There will be no favouritism... no taking sides. Triple H: Oh yeah right sure. Infront of the cameras and all, I understand. But when it comes down to it... we both know... with either you or Shane as referee... I’ll be the champion. ---------------------- The Undertaker v Mark Henry The deadman makes an appearance tonight, taking on Mark Henry, a match senn plenty of times on Smackdown but now on Raw. Undertaker, now in the running to be Kennedy’s partner at Cyber Sunday, unloads on Henry straight from the bell, hitting a flurry of right hands in the corner, before hitting big elbows to the head. Undertaker then grabs Henry’s arm and begins his climb to the top rope... old school... no! Henry kicks the ropes and Taker has a painful landing on the ropes, which Henry follows up by knocking Taker to the floor. Taker eventually makes it back into the ring, but Henry is in control, stomping away before coming off the ropes... huge splash! Henry goes for the cover... 1... 2... Undertaker kicks out! Henry again goes to work with the right hands, before sending Undertaker to the corner, charging in... but he misses with the splash! Now it’s Undertaker who takes back control, aiming kicks to the gut, before sending Henry off the ropes... reversal... flying clothesline! Undertaker takes Henry down, and as he gets back on his feet, his right hand is ready... he grabs Henry by the throat... chokeslam! Undertaker hits the chokeslam and goes for the cover... 1... 2... 3. Jeff Hardy! And Jeff, you won the title at No Mercy, last week you defended that title against Batista... and tonight you must defend the title once again against Shane McMahon in a ladder match. Jeff, can you once again hold on to your championship? Jeff: I know Shane McMahon has a reputation of being a daredevil, being a high flyer... but I’m the master of the ladder match! That’s the match I made my name on, and it was the Money in the Bank ladder match that lead me to the WWE Championship. So tonight, I’m going out there to win me another ladder match... and I don’t give a damn what Shane and Revolution throw at me. ---------------------- WWE Championship Ladder Match Jeff Hardy (C) v Shane McMahon Even though it was Shane who made this match, the co-general manager spends most of the early part of this match on the run, trying to avoid Jeff. McMahon then runs to the outside and tries to grab a ladder, but Jeff sees him coming and goes for a baseball slide... and misses! Shane quickly nails Jeff in the head with the ladder, leaving the champion down on the outside. McMahon quickly sends the ladder into the ring, props it up and starts to climb, and this one could be over in a hurry. Jeff crawls back into the ring, and with Shane almost there, Hardy grabs Shane by the ankle and pulls him down... and slams him face first off the ladder... and again... and a third time! Shane slumps to the mat, and Jeff goes to the outside... and grabs a steel chair! Shane tries using the ladder to drag himself back to his feet, and when he does... oh! Jeff nails him in the back... and now a shot to the head! Almost immediately Shane is busted open, but Jeff isn’t finished yet... kick... twist of fate! Jeff hits the twist of fate, and now he climbs the ladder. Surely Jeff is going to retain the title? JR: Do it Jeff! Grab the... King: Hey! It’s Revolution! And now this is four on one JR! Harry and TJ go to the outside to drag Jeff back into the ring, while Kenny checks on Shane. With Shane propping himself up in the corner directing traffic, Kenny and the Bulldogs pummel Jeff with boots and right hands. Eventually the chair comes back into play, as... oh! A sickening shot to Jeff’s skull! Again Kenny and the Bulldogs rain down with boots, before Shane orders them to set Jeff up in the corner. Harry and TJ drag the lifless champion and prop his head up on the bottom turnbuckle, while Shane goes to the opposite corner. Kenny holds a chair infront of Jeff’s face, Shane steadies himself... JR: No! Don’t do it! Shane’s going to go coast to coast! King: Here he... what? Hello everyone, I’m Joey Styles alongside Tazz, and as we continue our countdown to Cyber Sunday, Mick Foley has promised to kick things off with a major announcement regarding Cyber Sunday. Tazz: Well we’re waiting for Mick Foley to come out here and announce who will be put forward for the public voting to face Kurt Angle for the ECW Championship. Styles: We also await word on who will represent ECW in the inter-brand match that Smackdown down general manager JBL put forward last week. Edge will represent Smackdown, who will represent ECW? Tazz: Well whoever Mick Foley picks... well speaking of the GM, here he comes now. Styles: Mick Foley making his way out here with an announcement that will have major implications for Cyber Sunday... Foley: First of all... let me just say it’s great to be here tonight in Laredo, TX! Let’s get right to business. I’m here to announce the three men that you the fans will get to choose from to take on Kurt Angle at Cyber Sunday for the ECW Championship. Well... I have decided on the three men. First... if you fans want to see it... you can see, one more time... Kurt Angle one on one with the Samoan bulldozer Umaga! I stress though... only if you really want to see it. Second... you could vote for a match that I’d love to see. A match we’ve seen before... but never with the ECW Championship on the line. You could vote to see... Kurt Angle defend his title... against Tuesday night delight, John Morrison! So... so far we’ve got two former ECW Champions. But how about... how about we throw a wildcard in there? How about we throw in a man... who’s never had an ECW Championship opportunity before? How about we throw in... the undefeated, Colt Cabana?! So there you go... that’s your choices. Umaga, Morrison or Cabana. The choice is yours. Oh... and have a nice day! Tazz: Wow! What a tough choice that could be! Styles: Umaga, Morrison or Cabana? How’s it going to be? You the fans will decide! -------------------- Styles: Welcome back folks. Here comes Brian Kendrick on his way to the ring, and Tazz, we were both backstage and we managed to catch a word with him and... well I’ll let you tell the folks at home. Tazz: Well Brian Kendrick insisted to me that from now on, he should be called... The Brian Kendrick, emphasis on the “The”. Styles: We also had a chance to find out who this man is with him. His name is Danny Rodimer, or as Kendrick calls him, D-Rod. Tazz: D-Rod is Kendrick’s strategic advisor, or so we were told. Styles: I’d call him more of a bodyguard. Tazz: Yeah but Brian felt that would be a rip-off of something that’s already happened. I don’t have a clue what he meant by that... Tommy Dreamer v The Brian Kendrick With the imposing Rodimer at ringside, Kendrick acts like he owns the ring, strutting around and posing for the crowd. When the two finally tie up, Dreamer pummels Kendrick, nailing him with right hands and clotheslines. Kendrick staggers around the ring, but when Dreamer goes for a neckbreaker, Kendrick counters into a jawbreaker. Kendrick then locks on a chinlock, but eventually Dreamer battles back to his feet, Elbows to the gut break the hold, but when Dreamer sends Kendrick off the ropes, Kendrick hits the flying forearm. Kendrick tries to build offense, but the match swings back and forth when Dreamer battles back. Dreamer again rattles off the right hands, and he sends Kendrick to the corner... and follows up with a clothesline, before hanging Kendrick up in a tree of woe. Dreamer goes to the opposite corner, charges in... dropkick connects! Kendrick slumps to the mat, and Dreamer waits for him to get back up. Kendrick staggers back to his feet... DDT... no! Kendrick grabs hold of the ropes to save himself, and when Dreamers gets back up, Kendrick moves quickly, running him to the corner... the Kendrick! Kendrick hits sliced bread, and he quickly goes for the cover... 1... 2... 3. Foley: Shelton... how’s it going? Benjamin: Never mind that. Why am I not in the voting for Cyber Sunday? I mean, I beat Elijah Burke at No Mercy, I should be in-line for a title shot around about now. JBL: You know, this kind of insubordination would never happen on my brand... Foley: Shut up JBL! Listen, Shelton, believe it or not, I have something more important in mind for you at Cyber Sunday? Benjamin: More important than the ECW Championship? Foley: In my eyes, yes. I’m talking about the pride and respect of ECW. I’m talking about representing our whole brand. Shelton... I want to be my representative against Smackdown at Cyber Sunday. JBL: Him? Benjamin: Shut up JBL! You want me to represent ECW at Cyber Sunday? Foley: That’s right Shelton I do. I want you to take on Edge... I want you to beat him! JBL: Well that’s never going to... Foley: Shut your damn mouth right now! Benjamin: Alright... alright I’ll do it. I’ll do it for the brand. Foley: Good... good. Glad we got that settled. Now you better get out of here, your match with Mike Knox is up next... ---------------------- Shelton Benjamin v Mike Knox With Benjamin now confirmed as ECW’s representative at Cyber Sunday, Shelton goes into this match looking to show why he can carry the brand in the battle with Edge’s Smackdown. Knox is always a dangerous man to step into the ring with, and he looks to show his power early on, going for big right hands straight from the bell. Benjamin uses his athleticism to avoid the contact, before scoring with right hands of his own. Benjamin then comes off the ropes, and while he ducks Knox’s clothesline, he can’t avoid the big boot to the face. Knox then turns on the power, nailing Benjamin with a backbreaker before hitting a belly to belly suplex for a 2 count. Knox then rains down with clubbing blows to the back, before sending Benjamin off the ropes... bicycle kick... no! Baseball slide from Benjamin... German suplex... 1... 2... Knox kicks out. Shelton looks to keep the pressure on, coming off the ropes... roundhouse kick! Benjamin connects, and again he hooks the leg... 1... 2... Knox barely gets the shoulder up. Benjamin can’t believe it, but he retreats to the corner and lines Knox up... he charges in... paydirt! Benjamin hits the paydirt, hooks the leg... 1... 2... 3! Shelton Benjamin gets the win, and the message will be sent to Edge and JBL. Kurt Angle! And Kurt, earlier tonight we found out who the fans can choose to face you at Cyber Sunday. It’ll be either Umaga, John Morrison or Colt Cabana. Kurt, what do you think about the men Mick Foley has picked? Angle: Well... I got history with some of these guys. I mean, I beat Umaga to become the ECW Champion. I beat John Morrison to earn my shot at Umaga. As for Colt Cabana... I don’t really know too much about this guy. I mean I know he’s undefeated, he’s a heck of a wrestler... but he’s never stepped into the ring with me. And if the fans choose him at Cyber Sunday... I’ll end his undefeated streak. It’s true... it’s damn true! ---------------------- Styles: Welcome back folks. Elijah Burke and Colt Cabana is coming up next, but right now we have an update for you all on the condition of Kane. As you know, Kane was assaulted the Tuesday night before No Mercy by Umaga and he suffered serious injuries. Tazz: Right and Kane hasn’t been seen since. We were told Kane was in the hospital recovering from some very serious burns, and we didn’t know when Kane was scheduled to leave. Styles: Well... uh... ladies and gentlemen, the latest news on Kane is that he had some sort of nervous breakdown. We understand the injuries he suffered sent Kane into some sort of psychotic trance, and Kane unfortunately had to be committed. Tazz: Yeah, we were told Kane was taken away to a psychiatric hospital for evaluation. Uh, as far as we know, Kane is still there, still recovering, but he’s under heavy medication and hasn’t spoken to anyone in days. Styles: Obviously we all hoped for Kane to make a quick recovery, return to ECW and get some revenge on Umaga, but as of right now, it doesn’t look like that’s going to be any time soon. Tazz: Well Kane needs to get better, he needs to get healthy again before he even considers making a return to the ring. Styles: Absolutely. Kane, I don’t know if you’re watching this, I don’t know if you can hear me say this, but if you can, we all wish you luck in your recovery, and we hope to see you back in an ECW ring as soon as possible. --------------------- Elijah Burke v Colt Cabana It’s Cabanarama time once again, as Colt Cabana puts his undefeated streak on the line against Elijah Burke. With Cabana now riding high on the back of him being included in the Cyber Sunday voting, Cabana starts the match hot, flying around the ring and taking Burke down with dropkicks and flying clotheslines. Cabana continues his attack with a headscissors, but when Burke quickly gets back up, he nails Cabana with a clothesline. Burke then stomps away, before sending Cabana to the corner... big splash. Cabana slumps to the mat, and again Burke charges in... outer limitz elbow! Burke connects, hooks the leg... 1... 2... Cabana gets his foot on the ropes. Burke thought he had ended the streak, and if that didn’t do it, this might. Cabana drags himself back to his feet in the corner, and Burke has him lined up... Elijah express... no! Cabana moves out of the way, and Burke crashes into the corner. Now Cabana goes on the attack, sending Burke off the ropes... leapfrog... leaping butt thrust! Cabana takes Burke down, goes for the cover... 1... 2... Burke kicks out! Cabana senses victory, and he waits for Burke to get back up... Colt .45... no! Burke counters... Elijah experience... no! Cabana counters that... Colt .45! This time Cabana connects, and he goes for the cover... 1... 2... 3! Cabana has done it, and his streak rolls on for another week. Colt Cabana beat Elijah Burke (B-) --------------------- We cut to see Shelton Benjamin walking down the corridor in street clothes, when he runs into... JBL: You know what Benjamin? I can’t believe Mick Foley has chosen you to represent ECW at Cyber Sunday. I think that’s the funniest thing I’ve heard in a long time. Benjamin: Oh yeah? Why’s that? JBL: ‘Cause you’re a failure Benjamin! You’ve always had potential, but you have done nothing with it, you could never get the job done. And you’re not going to get the job done at Cyber Sunday either. Benjamin: Oh you think so? Well you go back to Smackdown and you give your boy Edge a message from me. You tell him he better bring the fight... cause on ECW... we fight for everything! JBL: Oh I’ll tell him. But uh... you better start thinking about the kind of matches you want the fans to pick from. Myself and Edge... well be announcing or choice this Friday night. And I’ll be back next Tuesday to hear what you and Mick Foley have in mind. Benjamin: I’m sure me and Mick’ll come up with a few ideas. JBL: Good. And who knows... I might even bring Edge with me next Tuesday night. Benjamin: I’ll be ready... --------------------- Umaga v John Morrison These two now know they will be involved in the voting for Cyber Sunday, and with Cabana winning his match earlier in the night, both Umaga and Morrison are desperate to prove why they should be the man to face Angle. Morrison tries to get the jump on Umaga straight from the bell, but the Samoan bulldozer overpowers him, nailing Morrison with a headbutt and following it up with a splash for an early 2 count. Umaga then starts pummelling Morrison, sending him to the corner... but he misses with the splash! Now Morrison goes on the attack, hitting right hands before sending Umaga across... reversal... moonsault off the top! Morrison takes Umaga down, and he looks to quicken the pace... springboard corkscrew moonsault! 1... 2... Umaga powers out. Morrison looks to kept the match fast, again coming off the ropes... ducks the clothesline... but Umaga catches him with the Samoan drop! Umaga now stomps away at Morrison, before locking on a nerve hold. Umaga squeezes down, applying pressure, looking to wear Morrison down. Eventually Morrison battles back to his feet, breaking the hold and coming off the ropes... but Umaga catches him... swinging side slam! Morrison crashes to the mat, and Umaga starts to slowly drag him towards the corner. Umaga then props Morrison’s head up on the bottom turnbuckle, before going to the opposite corner and lining him up... he charges in... no! Morrison avoids the contact, and he quickly climbs to the top rope... roundhouse kick! 1... 2... Umaga kicks out! Morrison thought he had it, but he waits for Umaga to get back up... kick to the gut... moonlight drive... no! Umaga counters... Samoan spike! Umaga nails Morrison and goes for the cover... 1... 2... 3. Umaga beat John Morrison (B+) Styles: Well... a hell of an effort from John Morrison, but he just came up short against Umaga. Tazz: And what does mean for Cyber Sunday? Has Umaga put himself back in the frame for another shot at Kurt Angle? Styles: Well only you the fans will decide that! We are just over one week away from Cyber Sunday, and the chase for you vote is starting to heat up. I’m Michael Cole, alongside me is Jonathan Coachman, and Coach, our main event tonight could be very interesting. Coach: Well JBL has said that there will be a tag team match featuring MVP and the three men that the fans can choose from to face him at Cyber Sunday, Rey Mysterio, CM Punk and Bobby Lashley. We understand that MVP will have to pick one of those men to be his partner tonight. Cole: Also tonight, Matt Hardy and Santino Marella go one on one... but here comes the general manager, John Bradshaw Layfield. JBL has been leading this war against ECW in recent weeks, and now we know that it’ll be Edge one on one with Shelton Benjamin at Cyber Sunday. Coach: And I don’t think JBL could’ve chosen a better guy to represent us than Edge... JBL: Last Tuesday night, I’m sure you all heard that Mick Foley has selected Shelton Benjamin to be the ECW representative at Cyber Sunday. Well... tonight I am here to announce one of the match stipulations you fans can choose for. After a lengthy consultation with Edge... both myself and your Smackdown representative... have decided that we want to see... a match that some would call Edge’s specialty. A match that Edge made famous. Mick Foley... Shelton Benjamin... ECW... let’s see how extreme you really are. Edge and I want on the ballot... a tables... ladders... and chairs match! To all you people out there thinking about voting... I have this to say to you. If you people think that Mick Foley is so great... if you people really think Shelton Benjamin can win this match... then you’ll vote for the TLC match. Let’s see how good ECW really is! --------------------- Gregory Helms v Jimmy Wang Yang We kick things off with cruiserweight action, as Gregory Helms and Jimmy Wang Yang face off. Straight from the first tie up, Jimmy looks to make the match faced paced, flying off the ropes and hitting headscisors and dropkicks. Helms looks to retreat to the corner to regroup, but Jimmy follows him in and hits a spinning wheel kick. Helms rolls to the floor to try and slow Jimmy down, but Wang Yang looks to stay on the attack... plancha... no! Helms moves and Jimmy goes crashing off the floor. Back in the ring, Helms attacks with boots before locking on an inverted facelock. Helms then drops Jimmy with a backbreaker, before hitting a vicious kick to the face that gets him a 2 count. Helms then climbs to the top rope, waits for Jimmy to get back on his feet... missile dropkick... no! Jimmy counters with a dropkick off his own, and now it’s Wang Yang who goes on the attack, hitting right hands before nailing Helms with an enziguri. Helms slumps to the mat, but Jimmy quickly drgas him back to his feet, before sending him o the corner... Helms reverses... Jimmy to the top rope... moonsault... no! Helms ducks and Jimmy crashes off the mat, and Helms moves quickly to take advantage... nightmare on Helms street! Helms connects, hooks the leg... 1... 2... 3. Gregory Helms beat Jimmy Wang Yang (C-) --------------------- Backstage, Eve Torres is standing by with... Eve: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time, he is one of the men in the running to face MVP at Cyber Sunday... Rey Mysterio! And Rey, tonight we understand that MVP has the choice of choosing either you, CM Punk or Bobby Lashley to be his tag team partner in tonight’s main event. If MVP picks you, do you think the two of you can get along long enough to win the match? Mysterio: Right now, the only choice I’m thinking about is the one for Cyber Sunday. I want the fans to choose me to face MVP. I want another shot at the championship. As for tonight, if MVP picks me to be his partner... then I’ll do all I can to make sure we win tonight. But after that... I’m coming after you MVP. And I only hope the fans give me the chance to get you one on one for the championship! ----------------------- Paul Burchill v Ron Killings With his opponent for Cyber Sunday in the hands of the fans, the United States Champion looks to prove his dominance against Ron Killings. The champion starts things in impressive form, nailing Killings with a shoulder block before pummelling him with right hands across the back and stiff kicks to the gut. Burchill then sends Killings off the ropes and goes for a big boot, but Killings avoids it with a baseball slide, before quickly getting to his feet and hitting a jumping heel kick. Killings now looks to string some moves together, hitting a legdrop and a German suplex before hitting a flying forearm and getting a 2 count. The match swings back in Burchill’s favour when he hits and overhead belly to belly, and he then hits a shoulderbreaker before locking on an armbar. Killings battles to break the hold, and he again takes control, dropping Burchill with a facebreaker knee smash. Killings then sees victory in his sights, and he comes off the ropes looking for the axe kick... but Burchill ducks, and as Killings turns around, Burchill strikes... C4! Burchill nails the C4 and hooks the leg... 1... 2... 3. Burchill wins and sends a message to all three of his potential opponents. I gotta talk to you. JBL: You want to talk to me? Well how about you show me respect son? London: Alright... JBL, can I please talk to you? JBL: No problem... what’s on your mind London? London: Brian Kendrick. Now I want to get my hands on him and the Cruiserweight Championship, but Brian’s on ECW and he’s refusing to have a match with me. JBL: So? London: So... since you want to prove how great Smackdown is compared to ECW... I need your help to get me my match with Kendrick. Then I can bring back the Cruiserweight Title to Smackdown! JBL: I like that London. I like that a lot. I tell you what... I’ll be on ECW this Tuesday night again. I’ll see to it that you get your match with Kendrick. London: Hey... you know what JBL? I don’t care what everybody says about you in the locker room. You’re alright. JBL: What? Who’s been talking about me? Hey... ---------------------- Super Crazy v Ted DiBiase Tonight sees the debut of another youngster in the WWE, as Smackdown welcomes the brash Ted DiBiase to its ranks. The son of the Million Dollar Man makes his debut against Super Crazy, and early on it’s clear that DiBiase has very little respect for his opponent, as he delivers a hard slap across the face. This only enrages Crazy, who immediately tackles Ted to the ground and starts raining down with rights and lefts. When both men get back to their feet, Crazy sends DiBiase off the ropes, leapfrogging over him before nailing the rookie with a back elbow. Crazy hits a dropkick, but when he sends DiBiase to the corner, Ted avoids the splash and then hits a back suplex. DiBiase then starts stomping away before locking on a leg-scissors. Crazy eventually manages to break free with elbows to the head, but DiBiase hits a hard shoot to the back and then goes for another back suplex... but Crazy lands on his feet... spinning wheel kick! DiBiase backs off into the corner, but Crazy follows him in, climbing to the second rope and nailing right hands... 1, 2, 3... oh! DiBiase drops Crazy face first on the top turnbuckle, and as Crazy gets back on his feet, DiBiase is waiting for him... million dollar dream! DiBiase locks on the submission hold, and eventually Crazy starts to fade. The referee checks, but he has no choice but to call for the bell, and DiBiase wins his debut match here on Smackdown. Ted DiBiase beat Super Crazy (C-) ---------------------- In the locker room, two superstars who almost came to blows in the ring last week come face to face again... Punk: Listen... about last week. We gotta put that aside. I wanna be the guy to face MVP, and so do you. That’s cool. But if we wind up partners tonight, you better be on the same page as me. Lashley: Well let’s just hope MVP picks you to be his partner... cause there’s no chance I’m going to team with you tonight. Punk: What’s your problem man? We both want to face MVP, I get that. But there’s no reason for all your crap! Lashley: You know what Punk? Let’s just keep this business right now. If... and I mean if we wind up together tonight... you just stay in the corner and let me handle things. I’ll prove why I should be the one to face MVP. Punk: Whatever man... ---------------------- Matt Hardy v Santino Marella With both these men in the running to face Paul Burchill at Cyber Sunday, this is an important match as Hardy and Santino are out to prove they deserve the United States Championship shot. Matt dominates early on, taking Santino down with a belly to back suplex and then dropping an elbow. Hardy then slams Santino to the mat, but when he goes for a legdrop off the second rope, the crafty Italian rolls out of the way. Santino then delivers a stiff kick to Matt’s face, before driving the point of his elbow and getting a 2 count. Santino then tries to a swinging neckbreaker... but Hardy counters... side effect! Hardy takes Santino down, goes for the cover... 1... 2... Santino gets the shoulder up. Hardy moves quickly, again going to the second rope... this time the legdrop connects! 1... 2... again Santino gets the shoulder up. Santino slowly makes it back to his feet, where Hardy is waiting... kick to the gut... twist of fate... no! Santino counters... swinging neckbreaker! Santino connects, and it looks like we have an upset... 1... 2... no! Hardy kicks out, and Santino is furious! He again delivers boots to Hardy’s face, before sending Hardy off the ropes... Hardy ducks the clothesline... twist of fate! Hardy hits the twist of fate, hooks the leg... 1... 2... 3! Matt Hardy beat Santino Marella (B) Cole: Well a very convincing win for Matt Hardy. Coach: Well both of these men are in the running to face Paul Burchill at Cyber Sunday, along with... WELL IT’S THE BIG SHOW Cole: What? Coach: Well here comes the man himself. Cole: The Big Show is making his way down to the ring. Matt and Santino are already in there and... oh my... Coach: Do it! Cole: He’s got both Hardy and Santino by the throat... chokeslam! Chokeslam! Coach: The Big Show has just laid out both the other options for Cyber Sunday! Cole: The Big Show has just sent a huge message to the United States Champion! But will Big Show get his shot at Paul Burchill? Only you can decide! ---------------------- Backstage, the World Heavyweight Champion is ready for an interview... Josh: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time... he is the World Heavyweight Champion... MVP! MVP, tonight you have to choose one of your possible opponents at Cyber Sunday to be your tag team partner in tonight’s main event. MVP, can you tell us your decision? MVP: First of all, I want to say that I can’t believe JBL has put me in this situation. I mean, putting me in the ring with the three guys who want my title, and then making me team with one of them? Doesn’t he realise that all three of these guys want to take me out, to jeopardise my title reign? Anyway... I made my decision. And after what I saw last week, and what I heard earlier tonight... I choose Rey Mysterio to team with me tonight. I don’t want anything to do with Punk or Lashley... but Mysterio... if you mess with me tonight... I... I ain’t got a problem with leaving you alone in that ring. I look out for me and nobody else... and don’t you forget that! -------------------- Edge v Matt Sydal At first glance, this looks like a fairly easy match for Edge, as he takes on the high flying Matt Sydal. Sydal has enjoyed his share of victories since debuting, but against a former World Heavyweight Champion surely he has no chance? Edge clearly has the power advantage in this one, bowling over Sydal with shoulder block after shoulder block, until Edge comes off the ropes and Sydal nails him with a dropkick. Sydal then hits a flurry of moves, taking Edge down with headscissors, armdrags and an enziguri. Sydal then climbs to the top rope and again takes Edge down with a diving double knee drop, before going for the cover and getting a 2 count. Sydal then jumps up on Edge’s shoulders, looking for a victory roll... but Edge counters, driving Sydal face first into the mat. Sydal staggers back to his feet, only for Edge to take him down again with a Russian legsweep, before locking on a chinlock. Sydal eventually breaks the hold with kicks to the head, and with both men back on their feet, Sydal again takes Edge down with a hurricanrana. Sydal then hits a standing moonsault, before climbing to the top rope, steadying himself... shooting star press... no! Edge moves and Sydal has a painful landing, which is the opening the ultimate opportunist needs... spear! Spear! Edge nails the spear, and goes for the cover... 1... 2... 3. A great effort from Sydal, but the crafty Edge pulls out the win. Edge beat Matt Sydal (B+) ---------------------- Hawkins and Ryder are sat in the locker room infront of a monitor, celebrating after seeing their mentor win his match, when... Hawkins: What the hell are you two doing here? Foley: Relax guys. We just wanted to drop by with a little message for your boss. Ryder: You got a message for Edge? Benjamin: That’s right. You tell Edge, we heard what JBL had to said earlier. Tables, ladders and chairs? I’m fine with that. But if Edge and JBL want a real test... how about we have an extreme rules match? Foley: You see, going to the limit, taking things to the extreme... that’s what ECW is all about. So... you tell Edge and JBL... that I am putting extreme rules down as one of the choices for the fans. And tell JBL I’ll see him Tuesday night... -------------------- Montel Vontavious Porter and Rey Mysterio v CM Punk and Bobby Lashley With MVP choosing Rey Mysterio as his partner, and the tension between Lashley and Punk from last week clearly evident, this match promises to be interesting to say the least. Mysterio and Punk start the match, with the match swinging back and forth after Punk hits a bulldog but Mysterio answers back with a hurricanrana. Both men then trade stiff kicks to the thigh, before Punk takes control with a underhook backbreaker. Lashley gets the tag, and he starts pummelling Mysterio, tossing him around the ring before nailing him with a fallaway slam. MVP is none too impressed in the corner, but when Mysterio ducks Lashley and dives to the corner for the tag, the champion isn’t interested. Despite their obvious tension, Punk and Lashley manages to co-exist, with Lashley hitting a spinebuster and Punk hitting a legdrop for a nice double team move. Mysterio is struggling, but when Lashley lines him up for the dominator, Mysterio counters into a wheelbarrow bulldog. With Lashley down, MVP is more than happy to accept the tag, but when he gets into the ring, Lashley nails him with a spinebuster. Lashley looks to be lining MVP up for the spear... but Punk tags in. Lashley can’t believe it, but it looks like Punk wants to be the one to put away the champion in hopes of influencing the Cyber Sunday vote. MVP staggers to his feet, and Punk has him up... GTS... no! Lashley pulls MVP down, and now Lashley and Punk are in each other’s faces again! The two square off, until MVP takes out Punk and Mysterio dropkicks Lashley from behind. Now Lashley is in position... 619! Mysterio connects, and here comes MVP... drive by kick! Mysterio goes for the cover... 1... 2... 3! Montel Vontavious Porter and Rey Mysterio beat CM Punk and Bobby Lashley (B+) Cole: Well somehow Mysterio and MVP manages to stick together long enough to get the win. Coach: Well MVP led his team to victory. He carried Mysterio in that match. Cole: What?! Well... the tension between Punk and Lashley continues to rise. Who’s going to face MVP at Cyber Sunday? Only you the fans can decide! Thank you for watching, and join us next week for Friday Night Smackdown! ---------------------- Gregory Helms beat Jimmy Wang Yang (C-) Paul Burchill beat Ron Killings (C+) Ted DiBiase beat Super Crazy (C-) Matt Hardy beat Santino Marella (B) Edge beat Matt Sydal (B+) Montel Vontavious Porter and Rey Mysterio beat CM Punk and Bobby Lashley (B+) Overall: B

Great bunch of shows, especially Raw. It all worked well together and all in all was very nice. I like the Kennedy and partner idea, but his potential partners are insane! I hope people vote for Flair as Special Referee as otherwise his big return would have been for nothing. I sorta hoped we'd see him return as GM or something, but I'm not going to doubt you after all this time of good shows. By the way, don't think your little touches don't go unnoticed. The little joke at the end of the Lonodn-JBL segment for example. Helps bring the show along very nicely. Overall, the guy's still got it :p

I just want to say, that neither Flair or Austin (who will be making an appearance in the next Raw) are here for one shot deals. I have plans and storylines in mind for both, one a little bit short term, the other a bit longer. As for who winds up refereeing the match, I'm sure I have all the bases covered, the same goes for all the other matches too. And remember everybody, I'll need votes for Cyber Sunday so if you happen to glance by when the voting starts, please vote! :o

Hello everyone, I’m Jim Ross alongside Jerry Lawler, we welcome you to Monday Night Raw. King, last week we found out more stipulations for Cyber Sunday, and I know the voting is going to be fierce. King: Well it seems like everybody has an agenda, everybody wants the fans to vote for their stipulation, and I guess they’ll try prove it tonight. Bt also JR, tonight, John Cena is back! JR: We haven’t seen John Cena since he was left lying in a pool of his own blood by Randy Orton at No Mercy. Cena is back and he’l be involved in our main event tonight, teaming with Jeff Hardy to take on Orton and Triple H... I HEAR VOICES IN MY HEAD... King: Well speaking of Randy Orton, here he comes now. JR: Well we still don’t know the stipulations for his match at Cyber Sunday. Maybe Randy has a few suggestions for us? Orton: First of all... I’d just like to say to John Cena... that I can’t believe you had the balls to show up here tonight. After what I did to you at No Mercy, I can’t believe you dragged yourself out of the hospital, for another match with me at Cyber Sunday. You think this is going to end in your favour John? Guess again. I swear to you John... I am going to end this. And when I do... I’m going to end you! Now... I understand that the fans are meant to be voting on this match, but we don’t know the stipulations yet. Teddy Long, since you seem to be the one in communication with Cena over this, I want you to come out here right now. JR: Well... here comes the co-general manager. Randy Orton obviously wants to give a few ideas for his match this Sunday. King: Yeah but will Teddy Long agree to them? Orton: Teddy... I know you and Cena conspired to make this match... so I put my suggestion to you. I think... Teddy: Hold on a second playa. Before you give me your ideas, let me give you mine. You see, once again I spoke with John Cena during the week on the phone... and we had a little chat... and we came up with a few ideas. And you know what? I liked them! So let me lay it down for you playa. For your match at Cyber Sunday... the fans will be able to choose from... my idea... which is a last man standing match! Or... they can choose John Cena’s idea... a submission match! Orton: What?! How the hell can you put that on the ballot? Teddy: That was Cena’s idea... and if the fans want it, they can have it. So... that’s two, we need a third. I assume you have something in mind. Orton: Yeah I have something in mind. Infact... considering the way our match at No Mercy ended... I think it’s rather appropriate. My choice... is a first blood match! If you people at home have any guts, if you people think your hero John Cena can really beat me... then you’ll choose first blood. And if you do... I will leave Cena in a pool of his own blood, one more time! King: God JR. Can you believe this? JR: Last man standing, submission or first blood! Only the fans can decide! --------------------- Batista v TJ Wilson Tonight’s opening match features two men who could be facing off against each other this Sunday. Batista is one of the choices to be Mr Kennedy’s partner against the Canadian Bulldogs for the tag team championships, and straight from the bell, the Animal stomps his authority on the match, driving Wilson to the corner before teeing off on him and driving the shoulder to the gut. A hard Irish whip sends TJ crashing to the corner, and as he staggers out, Batista sends him flying with a back body drop. Batista then looks to go for a spear, but TJ leapfrogs it, before nailing Batista with a dropkick. Wilson now goes on the attack, stomping away and dropping elbows, before starting to focus on Batista’s leg. Wilson drives the knee and drops the leg across it, before locking on a sharpshooter. Batista cries out in pain, as he strains and claws is way towards the rope. Eventually Batista makes it and breaks the hold, but the damage is done. Again Wilson stomps away on the knee, but when he sends Batista off the ropes, the Animal fires back with a clothesline. Batista then sends TJ off the ropes and hits a big spinebuster, before calling for the Batista-bomb. He pulls Wilson in, hoists him up... Batista-bomb... no! Batista’s knee gives way, and when TJ lands, he hits a chop block from behind. Again Batista goes down, and TJ again goes for the submission... but Batista just kicks him away. TJ quickly charges back in, but... spear! Batista hits the spear, and he quickly sets TJ up... Batista-bomb! This time he connects, hooks the leg... 1... 2... 3! Now... I just wanted us all to get together... and have a little chat. Flair: Is this going to be like last week’s little chat? Shane: Maybe. But really guys, I know you’re both here, you both want to be the guest referee at Cyber Sunday. I mean, I understand. Times are hard, you both could do with the cash. Austin: What? Shane: But my Dad is a very wealthy man, and if you two agree to it... I reckon there could be some large deposits in your accounts if you both don’t bother to show up at Cyber Sunday. You get me? Flair: Are we talking... a bribe here Shane? Triple H: No. No... not a bribe. Just... some persuasive cash, that’s all. Austin: Listen... Shane, Game... I don’t like either of ya. If the fans pick me... I’ll do my damndest to make sure you don’t leave with the title. Flair: Like I said last week... if selected, I’ll call it straight down the middle. It don’t matter how much money you wanna throw at me Shane... I can’t be bought. Triple H: You two listen to me. If either one of you is picked to be the ref... you screw with me... you two won’t just be retired... you’ll be dead! Shane: For both your sakes... you better hope the fans choose me. ---------------------- Melina and Beth Phoenix v Mickie James and Candice Michelle Once again we have Divas tag team action, as the champion Melina teams again with the glamazon to take on Mickie and Candice. Last week, a mistake from Beth cost her, Melina and Victoria, and Melina and Beth argued afterwards. Beth looks to make amends this week, so she starts the match with Mickie, and the two start fast, with Beth hitting a sidewalk slam and Mickie hitting back with a crossbody. The match swings back and forth until Candice gets the tag, and when she goes for Beth, the glamazon nails her with a clothesline. The champion gets the tag, and Melina goes to work, hitting the split legged neckbreaker before locking on a body scissors. Candice eventually breaks the hold with elbows, and she comes off the ropes... flying clothesline. Candice gets the tag to Mickie, and she bounces into the ring, taking down Melina. Beth then comes in, but Mickie catches her... wheelbarrow... victory roll... 1... 2... Melina makes the save. Melina starts stomping away, but here comes Candice... oh! A back body drop sends Candice over the top rope, and now Melina grabs Mickie... Irish whip towards Beth... reversal... oh! Beth just nailed Melina with clothesline, and as she turns around, Mickie is waiting... roundhouse kick! Mickie connects, hooks the leg... 1... 2... 3! Mickie James and Candice Michelle beat Melina and Beth Phoenix (C) JR: Well once again, the champion and the glamazon weren’t on the same page. King: Yeah and... you see Mickie and Candice celebrating up the ramp but... Melina and Beth are still in the ring arguing. JR: Well Melina blamed Beth for their loss last week, and it looks like... oh! King: Wow! Did you see Melina slap... oh! JR: Beth Phoenix just nailed the champion! Melina... I guess she pushed Beth to the edge, and the glamazon has had enough! King: And Beth... she’s leaving! JR: And Melina is furious! The glamazon just nailed the champion! -------------------- In the locker room, the Intercontinental Champion is confronted by the man he could face this Sunday... Kenny: Man... Cody Rhodes. The Intercontinental Champion huh? Cody: Yeah that’s right. Kenny: Yeah, well... don’t get used to that phrase. Cause this Sunday, the fans are going to vote for us to have our match at Cyber Sunday. And when they do... I’ll be the next Intercontinental Champion. Cody: Oh yeah? Let me guess, you gonna have Harry and TJ come down to the ring and help you out, is that it? Kenny: No... I don’t need them. I don’t need anybody. I’m Kenny Dykstra, I am the future of Raw. You know, at one point, I looked at you and I thought you had a pretty good career ahead of you. But know... I just realise that you’re destined for a career stuck in my shadow. And it starts when I get my hands on that Intercontinental Championship. Cody: Oh yeah? Well... if the fans do vote for us to have a match at Cyber Sunday... I guarantee, you’ll wind up leaving the pay per view just like Triple H... without a title! --------------------- Carlito v Finlay Both these men are in the running to be involved at Cyber Sunday, with the fans deciding if we’ll see either of them on pay per view. Carlito is as always joined at ringside by Apolo and Primo, while little Hornswoggle is in Finlay’s corner. Both men start the match hitting hard right hands, until Carlito takes control with a series of stiff uppercuts in the corner. Carlito then sends Finlay across, but the Irishman bounces out of the corner and nails Carlito with a clothesline. Finlay stomps away, before nailing Carlito with a legdrop. Finlay then looks to come off the ropes, but Primo grabs him by the ankle. Finlay swings at him with a right hand and misses, and when he turns around, Carlito is waiting with a swinging neckbreaker. Now Carlito goes to work, hitting a dropkick before targeting Finlay’s arm with an armbar. Finlay fights out of the hold, and starts nailing Carlito with elbows and uppercuts, before hitting the Finlay roll. Finlay goes for the cover, but Primo gets up on the apron... right hand from Finlay... and Hornswoggle goes flying on top of Primo! Hornswoggle swings with rights and lefts, but Apolo has him by the jacket. Finlay is distracted, and as he goes to confront Apolo, Carlito strikes... backstabber! Carlito takes advantage, hooks the leg... 1... 2... 3. Carlito beat Finlay (A*) JR: Well... Carlito gets the win, but once again he got a lot of help from the Cartel. King: Yeah and little Hornswoggle is still down, Finlay is still down in the middle of the ring... not a good night for... JR: Oh now wait a minute. What the hell is he doing out here? King: Sheamus O’Shaunessy is making his way down to the ring. JR... I gotta admit, this guy scares the heck out of me. JR: He is an imposing figure to say the least but... now c’mon. No... oh! Sheamus just planted Finlay... and now Primo and Apolo are laying the boots to him. King: This is a 3 on 1 beating, with Carlito just standing by... JR: Wait... JR: Shawn Michaels came to save Finlay, but will Carlito need saving this Sunday? The fans will decide. John Cena! And John, we haven’t seen you since No Mercy, how are you feeling? Cena: Uh... well you know, I got hurt pretty bad at No Mercy. I took some time, recovered... and now I’m ready. One last time, one final battle with Randy Orton! Orton... you want first blood? I like that. Submission match, last man standing... I like all of them. I don’t care what it is, how it is or where it is... all that matters is that this Sunday it’s you and me, one on one. I’ll make you bleed, I’ll make you tap, I’ll beat you so bad you can’t answer a 10 count. I will beat you Orton... and I’m going to be the one that ends things. --------------------- Cody Rhodes v Domino The Intercontinental Champion is in action, as Cody Rhodes takes on Domino. Deuce and Cherry accompany Domino to the ring, and early on they watch their man being outclassed by the champion, as Cody frustrates Domino with chain wrestling and avoiding all of Domino’s attempted offense. After once again being taken down with a waistlock, Domino rolls to the floor to try and regroup. Once back in the ring, Domino manages to catch Cody with a stiff right hand, before scoop slamming Cody to the mat and dropping the knee to the face. Domino then begins clubbing Cody from above, before driving him to the corner and hitting uppercuts. An Irish whip sends Cody across, but as Domino charges in, Cody gets the foot up and quickly goes to the second rope... bulldog! Cody drives Domino to the mat, goes for the cover... 1... 2... Domino gets the shoulder up. Cody stays on the attack, hitting a Russian legdrop before climbing to the top rope... moonsault... no! Deuce is up on the apron... a kick to the face sends him flying, but Domino is back up... back suplex from the top rope! Domino manages to drape an arm over Cody... 1... 2... kickout from the champion! Domino can’t believe it, but he looks to end it with... the crack ‘em in da mouth... but Cody ducks the boot and quickly gets back on his feet... kick to the gut... DDT! Cody plants Domino, hooks the leg... 1... 2... 3! Cody Rhodes beat Domino (B) ----------------------- Backstage, Ric Flair is walking the corridors when... Ric Flair. Man... I haven’t seen you since... when was it? Oh that’s right, since Wrestlemania 24. The night I ended your career! Flair: What do you want Orton? Orton: Nothing Ric, nothing. I just thought I’d drop by, that’s all. Flair: Well uh... thank you for your concern. But I think you ought to spend less time thinking about me, and more time worrying about John Cena. Orton: Cena? You think I’m worried about John Cena? The last time Cena and me met I left him laying in a pool of his own blood! I put Cena in the hospital. I mean, for him to rush back so quickly... who knows what kind of injuries he might have? Flair: So you’re not worried? Orton: Not in the slightest. Flair: Well... if that’s your attitude, fine. But that’s not the attitude that’s going to get you a win this Sunday. Orton: Funny... it’s the same attitude I had before I beat you at Wrestlemania. And we all know how that turned out, don’t we Ric? --------------------- Chris Jericho v Harry Smith After seeing TJ lose to Batista earlier, the tag team champions seem adamant that they won’t be losing two matches in a night, so TJ and Natalya accompany Harry to ringside for his match with Chris Jericho. The threat of Wilson at ringside doesn’t affect Jericho though, as he dominates early on, hitting a spinning wheel kick and following it up with a one handed bulldog. Harry rolls out of the ring to converse with TJ, but Jericho stays on the attack, going to the top rope... and taking down both bulldogs! TJ is thrown into the barricade, while is tossed back into the ring. Jericho continues to attack, nailing Harry with chops to the chest, before taking him down with an enziguri. Jericho looks to lock on the walls, but Smith quickly scrambles to the ropes. As the referee calls for a break, Harry takes advantage with a cheapshot, before dropping Jericho with a northern lights suplex. Harry then tosses Jericho through the ropes to the floor, and with the referee distracted, TJ goes to work, driving Jericho into the barricade before sending him crashing into the steel steps. Back in the ring, Harry gets a 2 count from a German suplex, before locking on a dragon sleeper. Smith wrenches back, applying pressure, until eventually Jericho can break free. However, Harry stays on the attack, ducking Jericho’s springboard back elbow and scooping him up... running powerslam... no! Jericho shoves Harry into the corner, and he takes him down... walls of Jericho! He’s got it locked in... but TJ’s on the apron! The referee tries to get him down, Harry is tapping... oh! Natalya nails Jericho with one of the tag team titles, and once Harry has recovered, he gets Jericho up on his shoulder... running powerslam! 1... 2... 3. Harry Smith beat Chris Jericho (A*) JR: Dammit! Harry and TJ have just stolen a win from Chris Jericho! King: And is this what we’re going to see this Sunday? Jeff: You know, ever since I cashed in Money in the Bank to win this title, I’ve had to listen to Revolution bad mouth me, say I’m not a credible champion. Orton and Hardy kick things off, and the WWE Champion quickly gains the upper hand, taking Orton down with armdrags before ducking a right hand and hitting a sitout jawbreaker. Cena gets the tag, and as Hardy holds Orton in place, Cena hits the legdrop bulldog from the second rope. Cena then slams Orton to the mat, and he lines him up... five knuckle shuffle... no! Triple H knees Cena in the back as he comes off the ropes, and Orton follows it up with a clothesline. The Game now gets the tag, and he sends Cena off the ropes and drives the knee into the face. Quick tags between Orton and the Game follow, with Triple H hitting the spinning spinebuster and Orton nailing a neckbreaker. Cena slowly struggles back to his knees, and Orton is stalking him... punt to the head... no! Cena avoids it... comes off the ropes... flying shoulder block! Both men are down, and Cena and Orton start to crawl towards their corner. Orton reaches Triple H... just as Cena makes it to Hardy! Jeff comes into the ring, taking down the Game with a clothesline before hitting a series of right hands. Triple H back off to the corner, but Hardy again hits right hands, before Jeff sends him across... Cena crouches down... poetry in motion! Hardy and Cena with the double team move, but here comes Orton... kick... twist of... no! Orton counters... RKO... no! Hardy sends Orton off the ropes, and when Jeff avoids the clothesline, Cena is waiting... FU! FU to Orton! But here comes the Game... FU to Triple H! Tonight, ECW on Sci-Fi comes to you from San Diego, CA and we are getting ready for a huge night tonight! Tazz: Well tonight’s main event is a triple threat match featuring all three of the competitors that you can choose from to face Kurt Angle at Cyber Sunday. Morrison, Umaga and Cabana tonight! Styles: Also, we understand Smackdown general manager John Bradshaw Layfield is here tonight, as he and ECW general manager Mick Foley finalize details for the battle of the brands match at Cyber Sunday featuring Shelton Benjamin and Edge. Tazz: And I for one can’t wait for that match. I know Shelton Benjamin is gonna do us all here on ECW proud! Styles: We also have an update regarding the condition of Kane... but we’re kicking things off with the ECW Champion, Kurt Angle! Tazz: And you know the champ has got plenty to say about this Sunday... Angle: So... this Sunday you people get to pick my opponent for the ECW Championship match. Well... I’m not out here to influence your decision or anything... but I know who I want to face. I want to face a guy who I know I can have a hell of a match with. I want to face a guy who I know will bring everything he’s got... I want to face... Styles: Wait a minute... here comes Umaga and Armando Estrada. Tazz: What the hell do these two want? Estrada: My name... haha... is Armando... Estrada! You... Kurt Angle... it doesn’t matter who you want to face. What matters is that you’re afraid to face Umaga! You stole the title from Umaga at No Mercy... a match that Umaga didn’t know he was going to be facing you. So... at Cyber Sunday... what if the same thing happens to you? What if the fans choose Umaga to face you? You won’t be ready, you won’t be prepared... just like at No Mercy. Angle: If that happens... you can believe I will be ready for Umaga! I’ll be ready for whoever gets picked. I won’t make the same mistake you two made at No Mercy... and I will leave Cyber Sunday still the ECW Champion! Now, how about you take him and get out of my ring? Styles: Wait a minute, wait a minute. Umaga getting in Kurt Angle’s face! Tazz: God you can feel the tension between these two. They both want... Styles: Oh! There they go! Angle and Umaga trading right hands! Tazz: Look at these two go at each other! Styles: Wait a minute... it’s Morrison and Cabana! Styles: What a way to kick things off on Sci-... Foley: Hey! Hey! What’s the matter? Can’t you guys wait for Cyber Sunday? Styles: ECW general manager Mick Foley standing on the top of the ramp now. Tazz: Foley out here to try calm things down I think. Foley: Cyber Sunday is just five days away and you four are out here killing each other! Well... I love it! This is exactly what I want to see! I want to see guys giving everything they’ve got for that title. JBL... I know you’re here tonight... this is what ECW is all about! And you know what? I want to see some more of this. So... tonight, we’re going to have ourselves a little match. One last chance to try and gain some votes ahead of Cyber Sunday. Tonight, it’s going to be Umaga... John Morrison... and Colt Cabana in a triple threat match! Oh... and have a nice day! Tazz: What a huge main event that’s gonna be! Styles: Umaga, Morrison and Cabana in a triple threat match! Burke has suffered his share of losses lately, and he looks at this match as his chance to get things back on track. Burke gains the early advantage, taking Richards down with a hiptoss. Burke then sends Richards off the ropes, and while Stevie ducks a clothesline, he can’t duck a dropkick from Burke. Burke then locks on an abdominal stretch, which eventually Richards is able to counter with a hiptoss of his own. Stevie now builds some offense, hitting a vertical suplex before dropping the leg for a 2 count. Richards then looks to send Burke to the corner, but Burke reverses... and he follows in with a clothesline. As Stevie slumps to the mat, Burke charges in... outer limitz elbow! Burke connects, and he drags Stevie back to his feet, props him up in the corner, goes to the opposite corner and charges in... Elijah express... no! Richards moves, and he lines Burke up... Stevie kick... no! Burke dodges it, grabs Stevie... Elijah experience! This time Burke connects, and he goes for the cover... 1... 2... 3. Foley: Like I said, that’s why my brand is better than yours. Tonight, you’ll see the three challengers to the ECW Title put on a hell of a match. JBL: Really? Well you can have your little match on your little television show... but come this Sunday, it’ll all mean nothing. Edge is going to beat your boy Benjamin. Then you and everybody else will find out just how great Smackdown is. Foley: We’ll see on Sunday. Speaking of... we need to decided on another stipulation for Sunday. We’ve got TLC, extreme rules... we need one more. JBL: I got one for you. You think your boy Benjamin’s so great... have him prove it. No fluke wins, no surprises... make him win... two out of three falls! I know Edge can go the distance... but I don’t know about Benjamin. Foley: Two out of three falls? Sounds good to me. JBL: Good. Anyway... I want to talk to you about the Cruiserweight Championship. Now that is a Smackdown championship, therefore it falls under my jurisdiction. So I want you to tell Brian Kendrick... Foley: The Brian Kendrick... JBL: Whatever his damn name is. I want Kendrick on Smackdown this Friday night, defending that title against Paul London. Foley: Well the Cruiserweight Championship may be a Smackdown title... but it’s currently being held by an ECW superstar... so it comes under my jurisdiction. So you tell Paul London... that he can have his title match, but it’ll be next Tuesday night on Sci-Fi! JBL: You better watch your step Foley. You don’t want to try score points on me, it won’t end well for you. Foley: I’ll take my chances... see you Sunday JBL. -------------------- The Brian Kendrick v Kofi Kingston The Brian Kendrick is in action, taking on Kofi Kingston with knowledge that next week on Sci-Fi he will be defending his Cruiserweight Championship against Paul London. Kendrick is of course accompanied to the ring by Daniel Rodimer, but it doesn’t seem to effect Kofi, as he starts the match strongly, flying around the ring hitting dropkicks and crossbodys. Kendrick goes to the outside, but Kofi looks to stay on the attack, leaping off the apron, but Kendrick hides behind Rodimer... who catches Kofi. Not wanting a DQ, Rodimer places Kofi down, but Kendrick quickly runs the apron and nails Kingston with a flying forearm. Back in the ring, Kendrick stomps away before sending Kofi to the corner and then nailing him with a tornado DDT. Kofi kicks out of a cover, but Kendrick is in control, raining down on Kofi with right hands. Kendrick then goes for a springboard back elbow, but Kofi hits a dropkick out of desperation. Kingston is back on his feet first, and he hits a great enziguri that gets a 2 count. Kendrick is reeling, and Kofi looks to put him away... trouble in paradise... no! Kofi misses the kick and crashes off the mat, and it doesn’t take long for the Cruiserweight Champion to strike... the Kendrick! Kendrick hits sliced bread, hooks the leg... 1... 2... 3. Shelton Benjamin! And Shelton, earlier tonight we heard the third stipulation that the fans can vote on for your match with Edge. It could be two out of three falls, extreme rules, or tables, ladders and chairs. Shelton, which match do you want to see? Benjamin: I’ll be happy with whatever match the fans choose. All that matters is that I do ECW proud, that I win this match for my brand. JBL, you like to think Smackdown’s so great and that Edge is gonna have an easy win. Well let me tell you something JBL... at Cyber Sunday... this is going to be a war. And me and ECW... we’re gonna be the ones coming out on top! --------------------- Shelton Benjamin v Kevin Thorn Shelton Benjamin prepares for his battle of the brands with Edge this Sunday with a match against Kevin Thorn. Thorn looks to hit plenty of power moves early on, but Benjamin shows great elusiveness, ducking clotheslines and big boots and answering back with a German suplex. Thorn is quickly back up, but so is Benjamin... roundhouse kick! Benjamin has an early cover... 1... 2... Thorn kicks out. Benjamin continues to attack, looking to hit a tornado DDT... but Thorn counters into a powerslam. Thorn now stomps away, before dropping Benjamin with a backbreaker. Thorn continues to pile on the pain, sending Benjamin to the corner with a hard Irish whip and then driving the elbow. Thorn looks to send Benjamin across, but Benjamin reverses... and follows in with a big splash. Now it’s Benjamin who attacks, hitting a flying clothesline and then... t-bone suplex! 1... 2... Thorn barely kicks out. Benjamin senses victory, and he waits for Thorn to get back up... paydirt... no! Thorn grabs hold of the top rope to save himself, and he quickly looks to put Benjamin away. He pulls him in, hoists him up... crucifix powerbomb... no! Benjamin drops down... neckbreaker! Benjamin again gets back to his feet quickly, and this time when Thorn gets back up, he makes no mistakes... paydirt! Benjamin connects, goes for the cover... 1... 2... 3! Shelton Benjamin beat Kevin Thorn (B) Styles: Well another win for Shelton Benjamin. Tazz: Man Shelton is on fire right now. Styles: Edge, Hawkins and Ryder are escaping through the crowd, but the battle lines have been drawn. Edge has struck first for Smackdown in the battle of the brands! ---------------------- Styles: Welcome back folks. We’re just moments away from tonight’s main event, but right now we have some more information regarding the condition of Kane. Tazz: Last week we told you Kane suffered a nervous breakdown due to the injuries he suffered at the hands of Umaga. Uh... sadly Kane went into some kind of trance, refusing to talk to anybody... and he sadly was taken into a psychiatric hospital for further evaluation. Styles: Kane was taken off of his medication during the week, and we understand he has shown signs of improvement, but doctors are still refusing to release him. Tazz: Yeah well hopefully Kane will be released from hospital pretty soon. I want to see him back on ECW, and I know when Kane does get back, Umaga’s going to have a huge target on his chest. Styles: Kane if you can hear us right now, we all wish you well in your recovery, and we hope to see you back on Sci-Fi soon. ---------------------- Umaga v John Morrison v Colt Cabana Tonight’s main event sees all three of the options for the ECW Championship match this Sunday take each other on, as Umaga, Morrison and Cabana look to influence the voting by gaining victory here. As the bell rings, each man cagily tries to feel the other out, as nobody wants to make an early mistake. Eventually Morrison and Cabana look to double team Umaga, but the Samoan bulldozer just tosses each man aside, before nailing Cabana with a headbutt. Umaga then focuses on Morrison, dropping him with a swinging side slam before coming off the ropes and hitting a splash. Umaga goes for the cover... 1... 2... Cabana makes the save. Colt now looks to take the fight to Umaga, but again the Samoan is too powerful, sending Colt to the corner and then squashing him. As Cabana slumps down, his head is perched on the bottom turnbuckle, and here comes Umaga... oh! Cabana’s head snaps back, and it looks like he may be out... but here comes Morrison. Morrison takes the fight to Umaga, nailing him with a spinning wheel kick before... split legged corkscrew moonsault! Morrison connects, hooks the leg... 1... 2... Umaga powers out. The big guy staggers back to his feet, and Morrison charges in... enziguri! Umaga slumps to the mat, but now Cabana and Morrison go at it. Colt gains the upper hand, driving Morrison to the corner, propping him up on the top turnbuckle... frankensteiner! Morrison crashes to the mat, but as Cabana gets back on his feet... oh! Samoan spike! Umaga nails Colt, and the undefeated streak is over... 1... 2... Morrison makes the save! All three men are exhausted, but Morrison looks to summing up a last ounce of effort, kicking Umaga in the gut... moonlight drive! Morrison hits it, but here comes Cabana... Colt.45! Cabana nails it, hooks the leg... 1... 2... 3! Colt Cabana beat Umaga and John Morrison (A*) Styles: He did it! Colt Cabana’s amazing undefeated streak continues! Tazz: Man I can’t believe it! Colt Cabana has just knocked off two former ECW Champions! Cole: Cyber Sunday is just 48 hours away, but tonight, so much is at stake for all the participants hoping for your vote. Hello everyone, I’m Michael Cole, I’m alongside Jonathan Coachman in San Diego, CA, and Coach, tonight is set to be a big night as we countdown to Cyber Sunday. Coach: Well the most interactive pay per view of the year sees the fans choosing both the challengers for the World Heavyweight and United States Championship. Tonight, the men available for you to vote from will state their final cases. Cole: Also tonight, Smackdown’s representative Edge will take on ECW’s Tommy Dreamer, and after Edge, Hawkins and Ryder attacked Shelton Benjamin on Tuesday night, there’s bound to be a response from Mick Foley and ECW. But right now, we’re about to enter the VIP Lounge, with the World Heavyweight Champion, MVP. MVP: Once again, big things poppin’, little things stoppin’. It’s time to step into my world, as the ballin’ superstar invites you into the VIP Lounge. Now, as we all know, this Sunday, you the fans will decide just who gets to face me for my World Heavyweight Championship. And as I’ve said before, I hold a victory over all three of the choices. I mean, I beat CM Punk at Summerslam, I beat Rey Mysterio at Unforgiven, and I beat Bobby Lashley at No Mercy. But... if you people want to waste your money voting for one of these guys to face me... then so be it. But you know just like I do, that no-one is taking this title away from me. With that in mind... I want to welcome my guests tonight... Bobby Lashley, CM Punk and Rey Mysterio. Cole: Well here comes up Bobby Lashley, Cm Punk and Rey Mysterio. All three of these men are in the running to face MVP at Cyber Sunday. Coach: Well as MVP said, he’s already beaten all three of these men on pay per view. Cole: But will the fact MVP won’t know who he’s facing until moments before the match work against the champion? Coach: Well of course it will, but MVP is not your ordinary champion. He’s dominated this brand for months now, and it’s going to continue this Sunday. MVP: Now... it’s nice to have the three of you here in the VIP Lounge... but much like this Sunday, you three don’t belong in the same ring as me. I mean... CM Punk... you don’t drink, you don’t do drugs... I think you’re boring as hell. You’re not VIP material. I buy $1000 bottles of champagne like it’s nothing... you but $1 bottles of water and think you’re some kinda playa! Lashley... you stand there, all silent, trying to put this tough guy persona across. Me... I act flashy and I live life even flashier. I’m the king of bling! I’m half man, half amazing! You’re just all boring. And as for you Mysterio... how did you even get in my VIP Lounge? I mean how’d you get past my security? Didn’t they ID you? You so small, you look about 12 years old. Face it... all three of you are losers. You’re not in my league, not now, not ever. And this Sunday... I don’t care which one of you gets picked. I’ll prove once again... I’m better than you. Coach: Haha! Admit Cole, you’re speechless! MVP has just... Cole: Oh! Hey... Mysterio, Punk and Lashley are kicking the champions ass! Coach: What is this? 3 on 1? This isn’t right! Cole: MVP set up on the ropes... here comes Mysterio... 619! Right into... GTS! And now Lashley has him... dominator! Coach: What a cheap attack by these three! JBL ought to suspend each of them! Cole: The challengers to the title have just laid out the champion! Who will face MVP at Cyber Sunday? Only you can decide! -------------------- Gregory Helms v Paul London London goes into this match knowing he will get his shot at The Brian Kendrick and the Cruiserweight Championship next Tuesday night on Sci-Fi. Tonight though, he takes on fellow cruiserweight Gregory Helms, a man who’s won his fair share of matches recently. The match starts at a fast pace, with London flying around the ring and nailing a crossbody, headscissor takedown and an enziguri. An early cover gets him a 2 count, but when London goes for an atomic drop, Helms counters down the back and hits a neckbreaker. Helms lays into London with the boots, before targeting London’s arm with a shoulderbreaker. Helms then drives the knee into the arm, before locking on an armbar. London eventually breaks the hold, but as both men battle back to their feet, Helms drives London to the corner and hits a hard right hand. Helms goes for an Irish whip, but London quickly jumps to the second rope... crossbody... 1... 2... Helms kicks out. London continues the attack, hitting a tornado DDT for another 2 count. Helms staggers back to his feet, but London is ready for him, nailing him with an enziguri before coming off the ropes... running shooting star press! London connects and goes for the cover... 1... 2... 3. A brawl to kick off a show? Sounds very familiar JBL. JBL: Yeah but this is Smackdown, ours was better than yours. Anyway, I take it you noticed Paul London getting a win there? Foley: I did. An impressive win too. JBL: Well you’ll see plenty of him when he brings back the Cruiserweight Championship to Smackdown this Tuesday night. Foley: Hey, I’m looking forward to it. Him and Kendrick, I think it’s going to be an awesome match. And that’s why it’s happening on my show. JBL: Oh it will be a great match. A great match that sees a Smackdown guy destroy an ECW guy. Foley: We’ll see. Anyway, I doubt it’ll be as great as our main event last Tuesday. I mean, Colt Cabana beat Umaga and Morrison? That match was great. I mean, if I had to give it a rating, I’d give it 10/10! JBL: Alright... Foley: 5 stars! JBL: I get it... Foley: An A* even! JBL: Alright! I get it! You had a nice triple threat match, big deal. Tonight on Smackdown... we’re going to have two triple threat matches! Foley: Two? JBL: That’s right. One for the challengers of both the United States and the World Heavyweight Championship. Foley: Sounds great. JBL: Oh it will be great. And you know what else will be great? Edge beating Shelton Benjamin this Sunday in the battle of the brands. I can’t wait! Foley: I wanted to talk to you about that. You see, a few of my guys were upset at Edge gate crashing the show the other night... and they wanted a little retribution. So I figured one of them could face Edge in a match tonight. JBL: Who? Foley: Mr ECW himself... Tommy Dreamer! And... if you’re feeling confident... how about a extreme rules match? JBL: We don’t do those kind of matches here. This is Smackdown! Not some bingo hall promotion! You tell Dreamer he can have his match with Edge, but it will be a standard wrestling match. Foley: Alright I’ll tell him. But JBL... you’re starting to sound a little bit scared. JBL: What? I’m not scared! I’m JBL! I’m a wrestling... Foley: Have a nice day! JBL: Don’t interrupt me like that! Hey! Foley... --------------------- Val Venis v Ted DiBiase Ted DiBiase makes his second WWE appearance, this time against veteran Val Venis. DiBiase looks to make a quick start, going for an early suplex, only for Val to reverse it into a long vertical suplex. Val then scores offense with a Russian legsweep and an elbow drop, but the match swings in DiBiase’s favour when he counters Val’s DDT attempt. DiBiase now attacks, stomping away and dropping a fist across the face. DiBiase then goes to the second rope for a legdrop, but Venis rolls out of harms way. Val now goes on the attack, hitting right hands and a belly to back suplex before sending DiBiase off the ropes... spinebuster! Val connects, and now he climbs to the top rope. Val steadies himself, lines DiBiase up... money shot... no! DiBiase rolls out of the way, and as he gets back to his feet, he waits for Val to get back up, lines him up... million dollar dream! DiBiase locks on the submission hold, and while Val tries to fight it, DiBiase wrenches away. Eventually Val drops to the mat, and the referee lifts his arm once, twice... three times. The match is over, and once again DiBiase wins via submission. And Paul, do you... Regal: Excuse me, excuse me... any questions for Mr Burchill shall be directed to him through me thank you. Eve: Oh... um... well, I was just wondering if Paul had any opinions on any of the men eligible to face him at Cyber Sunday? Regal: As far as Paul Burchill is concerned, these peasants at home making this decision better choose wisely. I realise that for many of you, having an Englishman as your United States Champion can’t be very appealing. However, it’s a fact that you all will have to live with. Paul Burchill is the United States Champion... and that’s not going to change this Sunday. -------------------- Jamie Noble v Matt Sydal More Cruiserweight action here as Jamie Noble and Matt Sydal square off. Noble is without doubt the brawler of the division, and he shows it early on, taking Sydal down a neckbreaker and hitting a legdrop, before driving the knee into Sydal’s midsection. Noble then looks to send Sydal off the ropes, but Sydal ducks the clothesline... and takes Noble down with a huricanrana. Both men are quickly back up, and Sydal hits an enziguri, and he gets a 2 count as Noble slumps to the mat. Sydal looks to quicken the pace, again coming off the ropes and this time hitting a roundhouse kick. Noble rolls to the floor to try regroup, but Sydal stays on the attack, going to the top rope... but missing Noble and crashing into the barricade. Back in the ring, Noble takes charge, again driving the knee before taking Sydal up and hitting a sitout suplex. Noble then goes for a fireman carry gutbuster, but Sydal counters down the back with a roll up... 1... 2... Noble kicks out. Sydal stays on the attack though, hitting a headscissors before quickly going to the top rope, steadying himself... shooting star press! Sydal connects, hooks the leg... 1... 2... 3! Foley: Well even thought I didn’t catch you last week, I sure as hell saw you on Tuesday night. You think sneak attacks is going to give you an advantage this Sunday? Edge: Well Mick... I just wanted to make sure Shelton Benjamin knows who he’s dealing with here. I mean I’m not some ECW guy... I’m Edge! This Sunday, regardless of the match... I will take Shelton to the limit. You better make sure he’s ready for that. Foley: Oh don’t worry... he’s ready. ECW is always ready. And tonight... Tommy Dreamer’s going to give you a taste of that. Edge: Yeah, cause I’m gonna be scared of some guy who’s best move involves a trash can. Like JBL said, this is going to be a standard wrestling match. I’ll beat Tommy Dreamer in the match... and then afterwards... I’ll kick his ass! As the bell rings, the Italian stallion tells Matt to take a back seat, as Santino is determined to prove his credentials by taking care of the Big Show on his own. Santino struts up to Show... and tries to powerslam him! Santino strains away, but he can’t shift Show, who eventually nails the Italian with a clubbing shot to the back. Pretty quickly Santino is tossed from the ring, and Hardy and Big Show go at it, trading right hands until Hardy comes off the ropes with a flying clothesline. With Show down, Hardy goes to the second rope... legdrop! Hardy gets a 2 count from the cover, and then Santino comes back into the ring... only to again be tossed over the top rope. Show is back up, and he nails Hardy with a headbutt, before scooping him up for a sidewalk slam and then locking on an abdominal stretch. Hardy appears to be fading, but once again here comes Santino, jumping on Show’s back and trying to put on a sleeper hold. Hardy is now free, and he starts teeing off on Show’s midsection, as Matt and Santino work together to subdue the big guy. Eventually Show flips Santino on top of Matt, and this time it’s Hardy who is removed from the ring. Show now goes on the attack, hitting right hands and headbutts, before grabbing Santino by the throat... chokeslam! 1... 2... Matt makes the save. Now Show and Matt go at it again, with Hardy hitting kicks and right hands, before going for... the twist of fate... no! Big Show shoves Matt off the ropes, where he hits Santino, again sending the Italian to the floor. As Matt turns around, Show is waiting for him... chokeslam! Matt crashes off the mat, and Big Show goes for the cover... 1... 2... 3. And MVP earlier tonight we saw you... MVP: You saw me get jumped by three guys! I mean, what the hell is this? I’m the World Heavyweight Champion, I’m the highest paid athlete on Smackdown. I need some protection out there, JBL oughta be doing more to look after me! Cause while you’re off picking a fight with Mick Foley, I’m still the champ around here. JBL, you gotta realise that I don’t deserve this... and I’m not gonna stand for this anymore. ------------------------ Smackdown v ECW Edge v Tommy Dreamer The heart and soul of ECW, Tommy Dreamer, steps into the Smackdown ring to take on their representative in the battle of the brands, Edge. Edge is out to impress, and he quickly gains the advantage, nailing Dreamer with right hands and sending him crashing into the corner with a hard Irish whip. The match quickly spills to the outside, where Edge drives Dreamer into the barricade before sending him into the steel steps. Dreamer cries out in pain, but Edge stays on the attack, driving him spine first into the ring post before finally going back into the ring. Edge is clearly in control, and he looks to punish Dreamer, sending him shoulder first into the ringpost. Edge then retreats to the opposite side, and he waits for Dreamer to turn around before charging in... spear... no! Dreamer moves and Edge goes crashing into the turnbuckle. Now it’s Dreamer who attacks, teeing off with right hands before sending Edge to the corner and following in with a clothesline. Dreaemr then scoops Edge up and hangs him from the top rope, and Dreamer goes to the other corner and lines him up... tree of woe! Edge slumps to the mat, and Dreamer goes for the cover... 1... 2... Edge gets the shoulder up! Dreamer can’t believe it, but he gets back on his feet and waits for Edge to get back up... Dreamer driver... no! Edge counters down the back, comes off the ropes... spear! Edge hits the spear, hooks the leg... 1... 2... 3. Edge beat Tommy Dreamer (B) Cole: Well Tommy Dreamer came into Smackdown and gave a hell of a showing... Cole: Nobody on Smackdown likes Edge though! Hawkins... Angle hits the Olympic Slam! Coach: Now what a minute... Tommy Dreamer’s got... Cole: Oh! Edge: I’ll tell you what happened... Smackdown just turned it’s back on me. Early on, Lashley and Punk get in each other’s faces, the tension that has been building between them in recent weeks still evident. Mysterio nails both with a dropkick, before hitting the wheelbarrow bulldog on Lashley. Mysterio and Punk now go at it, trading right hands, before Punk hits a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. Lashley is now back up, and he slams Punk to the mat, before grabbing Mysterio and dumping him over the top rope. Lashley and Punk now go at it, with Lashley hitting a release German suplex and Punk firing back with a dropkick. Lashley backs off to the corner, but Punk quickly follows in with a knee to the head and then a bulldog out of the corner. Mysterio is back in, and he takes Punk with a headscissors, before looking to do the same to Lashley... but Lashley holds on... powerbomb! Lashley sends Mysterio down, but Punk nails Lashley with a spinning wheel kick. Punk tries to cover Mysterio but only gets a 2 count, before looking to scoop Mysterio up... GTS... no... Mysterio does his best to fight it... spear! Lashley hits the spear on Punk! With Punk down, Lashley now focuses on Mysterio, hoisting him up... dominator... no! Mysterio fights it... headscissors... and Lashley is on the ropes. Here comes Mysterio... 619! Punk’s back up... west coast pop! 1... 2... 3! As I've said before, I need votes or else this isn't going to work. So, just copy and paste the quick picks, highlight one selection for each line and then PM them to me so I can keep it a surprise. I'll publish the results after the show to keep everything legit. Today is Tuesday, so I'll leave the voting open until about Thursday night/Friday morning (no specific time, I'll just post when it's over), couple of days to write it up so we'll aim for the show being up for Sunday night. Thanks to anyone who votes, and... please vote! :o
