A quick bump to say thanks to everyone who has voted so far! :) But, if I could get 1 or 2 more it would be great. Got a couple of ties right know that need to be settled. :o EDIT - One last bump to see if anybody else wants to vote. I'll edit this post again later to say when voting is over and then I'll get started. Looking good so far, I'm looking forward to starting to write the show. EDIT - And we're done. Thanks to everyone who voted, got more than enough. No ties, and some very interesting picks. Show should be up Sunday night, Monday at the latest.

Welcome to Cyber Sunday! Hello everyone, I’m good ol’ JR, Jim Ross, alongside Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler, we are sold out in the US Airways Centre in Phoenix, AZ, and King, tonight is a huge night for all of us on Raw. King: Absolutely. Jeff Hardy defends the WWE Championship against Triple H, and the fans will choose the referee for that match. Also tonight, John Cena and Randy Orton will finally end their bloody feud, and it’s up to you what kind of match they’ll be in. JR: Also, the tag team titles are on the line, but we don’t know who the Canadian Bulldogs will face. Right now, let’s hand it over to the ECW desk, and Joey Styles and Tazz. Styles: Thanks JR. Tonight, both the championship and the pride of ECW is on the line, as Kurt Angle will defend the title against a challenger of your choosing, while Shelton Benjamin takes on Edge in the battle of the brands. Tazz: Well it’s either going to be John Morrison, Umaga or Colt Cabana who will face Kurt Angle for the title, but also we’re waiting to find out what kind of match Shelton Benjamin and Edge will be in. Styles: It’s a big night for ECW, but it’s also a big night for Smackdown, and Michael Cole and Jonathan Coachman. Cole: Well Joey, tonight, Smackdown and ECW go to war, but also, the World and United States Championship will be on the line against challengers to be determined by the fans. Coach: Yeah but it really doesn’t matter who you idiots out there pick. MVP and Paul Burchill, two of the most dominant champions this brand has ever seen will destroy whoever you pick. As for ECW, we are going to kick your asses tonight! Edge is a true Smackdown guy, and he will win for us tonight. Cole: Well up first, the United States Championship is on the line... and here comes the champion, Paul Burchill. Burchill, as always accompanied by William Regal, who has really taken Burchill’s career to the next level since he joined up with his countryman. Coach: Like I said, it doesn’t matter who these fans choose. Burchill is just too damn dominant. Cole: Well let’s go over to the control desk, Todd Grisham and Maria are standing by with the results of the fans vote. Todd: Thanks guys. Well myself and Maria are here at the control pad, we’ll be giving you the results of the votes during the night. Up first, the challenger for the United States Championship Match. Maria: Will it be... Big Show? Or... Matt Hardy? Or how about... Santino Marella? Todd: The results are in. You chose...
Big Show: 23% Matt Hardy: 46% Santino Marella: 31%
Maria: Matt Hardy! The match starts with Hardy gaining control early, locking on a headlock and taking Burchill down. A series of chain wrestling counters take place, until Hardy hits an atomic drop and follows it up with a clothesline. Hardy then hits a series of right hands, before going for an Irish whip... which Burchill reverses... and then catches Matt in a belly-to-belly overhead suplex. Burchill is slow to get back to his feet, but while he has the referee distracted, Regal hits Hardy with a cheap right hand, before Burchill goes back to work with the boots. Burchill then drives Hardy to the corner, hitting more right hands before sending Hardy across... Hardy tries to leapfrog him... but Burchill catches him... fireman carry slam. Burchill takes Hardy down and goes for the cover... 1... 2... Matt gets the shoulder up. Burchill then starts hitting forearms across Hardy’s face and delivering a stiff kick to the spine. Burchill then hits backbreakers and a pumphandle slam, before driving Hardy down with a shoulderbreaker and getting another two count. Burchill then sends Hardy to the corner, but when the champion charges in, Hardy gets a foot up, quickly goes to the second rope... legdrop bulldog! Hardy has the cover... 1... 2... Burchill powers out. Hardy now looks to build some offense, hitting right hands and then taking Burchill down with a Russian legsweep. Burchill slowly gets back up, and when he does, Hardy is waiting... side effect... no! Burchill blocks it... and he has Hardy up on his shoulders for the torture rack... no! Hardy counters that... twist of fate! Twist of fate! We could have a new champion... Cole: Here’s the cover... 1... 2... dammit! Coach: What? Cole: Regal just put Burchill’s foot on the bottom rope! Coach: Uh... I think Burchill did it himself... Cole: Dammit Coach it was Regal! Burchill is out, and now... Hardy going to the outside... Coach: He needs to stay focused on... Cole: Right hand to Regal! With Regal down, Matt moves quickly, going to the second rope... legdrop! Hardy connects, and now he waits for Burchill to get back up... twist of fate! Twist of fate! Hardy connects again, hooks the leg... 1... 2... 3! Hardy wins! We’ve got a new United States Champion, and finally Matt Hardy wins back the title! Matt Hardy beat Paul Burchill to become the new United States Champion (B) ------------------- Backstage, the ECW and Smackdown general manager’s are in conversation... Foley: So... tonight’s the night JBL. All of your bitching and moaning, and all of your talk... it’s all on the line tonight. Worried? JBL: Worried? About ECW and Shelton Benjamin? I don’t think so Foley. I got faith in Edge. He’ll prove just how great Smackdown is. Foley: Alright. So... what do you think it’ll be? Extreme rules? TLC? JBL: Your boy Benjamin better prey it’s not a TLC match. We both know that’s Edge’s speciality, he will destroy Benjamin is that’s what gets chosen. Foley: I don’t know about that. Shelton’s one of the best athletes in the WWE. JBL: You know what? I’m tired of talking to you Foley. Tonight... Edge will win. And I will be proven right when I say Smackdown is better than ECW. Foley: Have a nice day... -------------------- Todd: Right now, the fans have been voting on which match from the Raw brand you’d all like to see. Maria: That’s right. The choices were Cody Rhodes defending the Intercontinental Championship against Kenny Dykstra, Finlay and Sheamus O’Shaunessy finally meeting... or Shawn Michaels looking to gain some revenge against Carlito! Todd: The fans have spoken. Here are the results...
Cody Rhodes v Kenny Dykstra: 8% Finlay v Sheamus O’Shaunessy: 23% Shawn Michaels v Carlito: 69%
Maria: Shawn Michaels and Carlito! Shawn Michaels v Carlito These two faced off at No Mercy, were the numbers game saw Carlito take advantage of numerous distractions from Primo and Apolo to pin Michaels. It may have ended at that, had Carlito not spat his apple in Michaels face. Michaels demanded a rematch, and the fans have given it to him, but once again, Primo and Apolo are at ringside, looking to make their presence felt. As the bell rings, both men get in each other’s face, Carlito once again has his apple in hand. He takes a bit, and just as it looks like he’s about to spit in Michaels face again... Shawn nails him with a right hand, and the match is under way. Michaels attacks with right hands and chops to the chest, as he drives Carlito to the corner, before sending him across with an Irish whip, which sees Carlito bounce out of the corner... into a back body drop. Carlito rolls to the floor to be with Apolo and Primo, but Michaels doesn’t let him rest... plancha... but Michaels is caught by Apolo... and nailed with a kick from Carlito. The referee admonishes Primo and Apolo, and as they back away, Carlito begins to stomp away at Michaels before rolling him back into the ring. Carlito continues to drop the boots, before Carlito starts targeting the back, dropping the elbow and then landing clubbing blows. Carlito then tosses Michaels to the floor and distracts the referee, which Apolo takes full advantage of, driving Shawn back first into the ringpost before sending him back into the ring. Carlito looks to add more punishment, hitting a backbreaker and following it with a hard Irish whip to the corner. Michaels crumples to the mat, prompting Carlito to drag him back up, before going for another Irish whip... which Michaels reverses... but Carlito jumps to the second rope... springboard crossbody... oh! Michaels hits sweet chin music out of sheer desperation! Michaels slowly crawls his way over to Carlito to make the cover... JR: Here’s the count... 1... 2... King: What the...? JR: Primo just dragged the referee out of the ring... and now Apolo just laid out the ref with a right hand! King: What is this? With the referee down, Apolo and Primo enter the ring and proceed to beatdown Michaels. Apolo then sends Michaels off the ropes, but Michaels ducks his clothesline... and hits Primo with a flying clothesline. Michaels quickly kips up... and hits sweet chin music on Apolo... but Carlito hits the backstabber! Carlito makes the cover... but there’s no referee! Eventually another sprints down the ramp to the ring, and he makes the cover... 1... 2... Michaels gets the shoulder up! Taking out the referee backfires on Carlito, but he again lines Michaels up... backstabber... no! Michaels grabbed the top rope and held on, and he turns just as Carlito gets back up... sweet chin music! Michaels hits a second sweet chin music, and he goes for the cover... 1... 2... 3! John Cena! And John, you and Randy Orton have had a very personal rivalry over these last few months, and we know it must come to an end tonight. John... can you finally finish off Randy Orton with a win tonight? Cena: Eve, it’s not a case of can I finish this tonight. I will finish this tonight! Orton... the time for talking is over. Tonight, I’m all about kicking your ass! The fans will choose the match, but the outcome is already clear. I will beat you Orton... and when I do... you better never get in my face again! --------------------- Maria: Up next, it’s the battle of the brands! Todd: Smackdown and ECW have been fighting with each other for a while now, and tonight, Smackdown’s Edge and ECW’s Shelton Benjamin will go at it to see which brand is the best. Maria: You have all been voting for what kind of match these two will have, and here are the results...
Extreme Rules: 8% Tables, Ladders and Chairs: 69% Two Out of Three Falls: 23%
Todd: Tables, ladders and chairs! Smackdown v ECW Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match Edge v Shelton Benjamin The battle of the brands has swung in Smackdown’s favour with the voting of the tables, ladders and chairs match, and Edge looks delighted his speciality match is what awaits he and Benjamin. Before the match starts though, the camera gives us a shot of what both men will climb the ladder to retrieve... a specially designed briefcase featuring both the Smackdown and ECW logos. As the bell rings, both men tie up, and it’s Edge who gets the early advantage, catching Benjamin with a knee before dropping him with a clothesline and then hitting an elbow drop. Edge rolls to the outside, and the first ladder is quickly sent into the ring along with a chair. Benjamin is back to his feet, but Edge has the ladder in hand... and he nails Shelton in the head! Benjamin goes down, but as Edge tries to set the ladder up in the corner, Benjamin gets back up, chair in hand... oh! Edge turns right into a chair shot, and now it’s Shelton who goes to work, nailing Edge with several shots to the back. Edge is then placed on the ladder propped in the corner, as Shelton goes to the opposite side and lines him up... big splash... no! Edge moves and it’s Shelton who goes flying into the ladder. The fight again leaves the ring, with both men trading right hands before a clothesline sends Edge over the barricade into the crowd. Edge and Benjamin brawl through the fans, before a back body drop over the barricade eventually brings both men back to the ring area. It’s now that the first table is brought into things, as Edge goes under the ring and sets one up infront of the Smackdown desk. Coach is loving it as Edge then grabs two chairs, places one on the table with Shelton’s head on top, before raising the other up... one man con-chair-to... no! Benjamin moves his head in time... oh! And he nails Edge with the other chair! Now it’s Edge who is placed on the table, as Shelton rolls back into the ring, props up a ladder near the ropes and begins to climb... Tazz: Oh now wait a minute... Coach: No! Don’t even think about it Benjamin! Styles: It’s a bit late for that! Cole: Shelton Benjamin is on the top rope... Tazz: Incoming! Coach: No! Styles: Oh my God! Oh my God! Shelton Benjamin just drove Edge through a table from the top of a ladder! Cole: Unbelievable... Tazz: Yeah and you hear that Coach? That’s an ECW chant going on right now! Coach: What the hell do these idiots know anyway? The huge splash from Benjamin hurt both men, and it takes an age for either to get back to their feet. Eventually both men make it back into the ring, and it’s Benjamin who’s in control, grabbing a chair... oh! A huge shot to Edge’s head sees the Rated R one slump to the mat. Shelton now positions a ladder under the briefcase and begins to climb. Shelton slowly climbs rung by rung, but Edge has crawled back to his feet... and he pushes the ladder over! Shelton crashes to the mat, and now it’s Edge who’s in charge, grabbing a chair... oh! Another head shot sees Benjamin crash through the ropes to the floor. Now it’s Edge who sets the ladder and starts to climb. He makes his way up, but here comes Benjamin, who climbs to the top rope... and jumps onto the ladder! Now the two begin trading right hands, as the ladder begins to shake... right hand from Benjamin... and another... and a third... oh! Benjamin suplexes Edge off the ladder! Both men are down, but the crowd begins booing the arrival off... Styles: Now what the hell are these two doing out here? Cole: Hawkins and Ryder, Edge’s boys, Smackdown’s tag team champions are coming out here. Coach: Yeah and they’re here to help their boss win this match. Tazz: That’s what you Smackdown guys are all about ain’t it? You guys gotta cheat to try win this match. Hawkins and Ryder begin to pummel Benjamin, as Edge retreats to the corner to compose himself. Ryder crouches in the corner as Hawkins pulls Benjamin up, and Ryder charges in... spear... to Hawkins! Benjamin avoids it and Ryder hits his partner! Edge can’t believe it, as Benjamin quickly grabs a chair... shot to Ryder... shot to Hawkins... shot to Edge! Shelton lays out all three, as Edge rolls to the floor to be with Hawkins and Ryder. The three try to regroup, but Benjamin stays on the attack, grabbing a ladder, quickly jumping to the top rope... moonsault off the top with a ladder! Shelton takes out all three men, and eventually he manages to roll back into the ring with the ladder, set it up under the briefcase and once again Shelton begins to climb. He makes it to just shy of the top... but here comes Edge. Edge somehow makes his way up the ladder... and again both men are trading right hands. This time it’s Edge who gains the upper hand, as he looks to suplex Shelton... but Shelton hangs on... and he grabs the briefcase... but so does Edge! Both men struggle for possession... and the ladder falls! Now both men are hanging in the air, gripped to the briefcase! Edge manages to swing a fist, but both men are just spinning in the air... until Benjamin lets go... and hits a mid air paydirt! Both men crash to the mat, but Edge looks out cold. Benjamin slowly manages to set the ladder back up, and he makes his way up, rung by rung... until he makes it to the top... and grabs the briefcase and victory for ECW! Styles: He did it! He did it! Shelton Benjamin has won the battle of the brands for ECW! Tazz: Hell of a job by Shelton Benjamin. Coach: God I can’t believe this. Cole: ECW has won the battle of the brands... Coach: Yeah well you guys may have won the battle tonight, but won’t win the war. Tazz: What the hell are you talking about Coach? Jericho sees this and sprints to the ring, where he starts nailing both Bulldogs with right hands. Kennedy eventually gets back up, and a pair of clotheslines send the champions to the floor. The referee finally gains some control, and we start things with Jericho and TJ. The two tie up, until TJ sends Jericho off the ropes... who knocks TJ down with a shoulderblock. Jericho again comes off the ropes, only for TJ to dodge him with a leapfrog... and Jericho to nail him with a clothesline. Kennedy now comes into the ring, and he tees off on Wilson’s head before hitting a suplex and a Russian leg sweep. Kennedy then looks to send TJ off the ropes, but TJ reverses... and Harry knees Kennedy in the back as he hits the ropes... and TJ follows it up with a belly to belly suplex. The champions now show off their advantage of having experience as a team as they hit a series of double team moves and use quick tags to focus in on Kennedy. Harry tags in TJ, who goes to the top rope, while Harry scoops Kennedy onto his shoulder... running powerslam... splash off the top rope! TJ has the cover... 1... 2... Jericho makes the save! TJ now starts to pummel Kennedy, but when he sends Kennedy off the ropes, Kennedy ducks the clothesline... mic check! Kennedy hits the mic check, and slowly starts to crawl towards his corner... to tag in Jericho! Jericho comes in and nails TJ with a clothesline before knocking Harry off the apron. Jericho hits the one handed bulldog, before again running the ropes... lionsault! Jericho hooks the leg... 1... 2... Harry makes the save, but here comes Kennedy, who nails Harry with right hands until both men wind up on the floor. Jericho now focuses on TJ, hitting a springboard dropkick before waiting for him to get back up... codebreaker... no! TJ blocks it, and he quickly... locks on a sharpshooter! But wait... Jericho’s fighting it... and he grabs’s TJ’s foot and pulls him to the mat... and now Jericho is back on his feet... walls of Jericho! Jericho counters the sharpshooter into the walls... and with Kennedy sending Harry into the barricade, there’s no-one left to save TJ... and he taps! He’s tapping! We’ve got new tag team champions! Orton makes his way down to the ring first, with a determined look on his face... until Cena interrupts from behind with a chair shot to the back! Cena gets the jump on Orton, and quickly starts wearing out the chair on Orton on the entrance way. Both men make it back into the ring, and Cena comes off the ropes... flying chair shot! Orton crashes to the mat, and the referee starts to count. He makes it to 6 when Orton starts to stir and get back on his knees... only for Cena to nail him again! Again the referee starts to count, and this time he gets to 8 before Orton drags himself back to his feet. A clothesline from Cena takes Orton over the top, and the fight again spills to the floor. Cena is all aggression in the early goings, and it continues as he sends Orton crashing into the steel steps. Cena then starts tearing apart the ECW announce desk, as Joey Styles and Tazz run for cover. Orton drags himself back up, but when Cena goes to send him into the bounce his head of the steps, Orton blocks it... and it’s Cena who tastes the steel. Orton is still suffering from the chair shots, but he manages to get it together long enough to roll Cena on top of the table, before he too climbs on... JR: Now wait a minute! King: JR... you don’t think he’s going to RKO Cena on the table do you? JR: I think that’s exactly what he wants to do! Orton... no! Don’t do it! King: Wait... Cena’s fighting it! Cena desperately hits Orton with right hands and elbows, managing to block the RKO attempt. Cena then nails Orton with a big right, sending Orton to the floor... and Cena goes off the table with a flying shoulder block! Cena rolls Orton back into the ring, before Cena climbs to the top rope. Orton can barely get back to his feet, as Cena launches himself... legdrop bulldog off the top... no! Cena misses, and Orton is able to get himself back to his feet, line Cena up... oh! Orton nails Cena with a boot to the head, and as Orton slumps to the corner to regroup, the referee starts to count Cena. Cena gets back up at 7, but Orton is all over him, hitting right hands before kneeing Cena in the head, sending him through the ropes back to the floor. Once again the match spills outside, and Orton grabs a chair... oh! A sickening thud to Cena’s head... and another shot! Orton has a sick smile on his face, as Cena’s head is busted wide open, just like at No Mercy. Once again, Orton turns his attention to the ECW announce desk, rolling Cena onto the desk before dragging him to his feet... JR: No! No! Don’t do it! King: Oh my God... JR: Oh! Bah gawd! RKO through the table! The move that put Cena on the shelf all those months ago, and Orton has just hit it again! King: And John Cena... he looks hurt. Orton rolls back into the ring as the referee starts to count. He makes it to 6... 7... Cena starts to stir... 8... Cena tries to drag himself up with the apron... 9... Cena is up and the referee stops the count! Orton can’t believe it, but he wastes no time going back to work, again hitting right hands to the bloody face of Cena. Orton then goes and grabs the steel steps, and as Cena gets back up, Orton charges in... and nails Cena with the steps! Again Cena goes down, but this time Orton rolls him back into the ring. Cena grabs hold off the ropes and tries to drag himself back up, but Orton is already poised, ready to strike. Cena makes it back up, but here comes Orton... RK... no! Cena pushes Orton off the ropes... right into a... FU! Cena hits the FU out of nowhere, but the damage he has suffered leaves both men down, and the referee starts to count. But Cena doesn’t want to wait for the count, as he pushes past the referee... and locks on the STFU! Cena wrenches back, as Orton taps furiously. Eventually Orton stops tapping, and Cena finally let’s go to let the referee count. The referee makes it to 6 before Orton starts to move, and he grabs the ropes and drags himself back up... only for a clothesline to take both men to the floor, this time at the foot of the entrance way. Cena hits right hands, as Orton looks to retreat towards the back, but Cena stays on him, hitting more fists as the fight makes its way up the ramp to the entrance. Cena continues to pummel Orton, before slamming his head oiff the stage. Again Orton goes into the stage, before Cena has him up... FU on the ramp... no! Orton fights out of it... RKO! Orton RKO’s Cena on the ramp, and the referee begins the count... he makes it to 7... 8... Cena starts to get back up... 9... Cena is back up, and Orton hits a right hand... but Cena hits back... right hand from Orton... Cena fires back... and again... another right hand from Cena. Orton is staggering... as Cena hits another right hand... Orton is at the edge of the ramp... another Cena right hand... but still Orton barely keeps his balance. Cena grabs Orton, and once again has him up for the FU, but... JR: Oh my God! Cena’s going to FU Orton off the stage! King: No! He’ll kill him! JR: Here he comes... oh my God! Orton countered and sent Cena crashing off the stage! King: Unbelievable! Cena just went flying through the air to the floor... and the referee is counting! JR: I can’t believe this! Cena is down... and the referee’s at 7... 8... King: That’s 9... Cena’s still not moved... JR: 10! By gawd! I can’t believe it! Randy Orton has is the last man standing! King: And I guess it’s finally over between these two. Orton has won the war. Good luck... --------------------- Todd: The ECW Championship is now on the line, as Kurt Angle will defend the title against a challenger of your choosing. Their previous matches have seen both men grab wins, and as Morrison enters the ring, a smile comes across Angle’s face, the level of respect between the two obvious. The early goings see the match swing back and forth, with Angle taking Morrison down with a belly-to-back suplex and then locking on a body scissors, but when both men get back to their feet, Morrison gains the upper hand with a spinning wheel kick. Morrison hits forearms and uppercuts, before sending Angle off the ropes... Angle reverses... but Morrison ducks his clothesline... neckbreaker! Morrison goes for an early cover... 1... 2... Angle kicks out. Morrison continues to apply pressure, sending Angle to the corner and following in with a knee to the face. As Angle slumps to the mat, Morrison again charges in... split legged corkscrew moonsault... no! Angle gets the knees up to block it, and now it’s the ECW Champion who goes on the attack, hitting stiff right hands before sending Morrison flying with a belly-to-belly overhead. Angle gets a 2 count from that, before he starts to climb to the top rope. Angle lines Morrison up, readies himself... moonsault off the top... nobody home! Morrison rolled out of the way, and now it’s the challenger who makes his move, nailing Angle with a step up enziguri for a 2 count. Angle is slow to get back to his feet, and Morrison is waiting for him... Russian legsweep... right into... split legged corkscrew moonsault! This time Morrison connects, hooks the leg... 1... 2... Angle gets the shoulder up! Angle stays alive, but Morrison stays on the attack, kick to the gut... moonlight drive... no! Angle counters... Angle slam! Angle slam! Angle quickly goes for the cover... 1... 2... Morrison gets the shoulder up! John Morrison somehow kicks out of the Angle slam, and the champion can’t believe it. Angle gets back on his feet, and he waits for Morrison to get up, and eventually the challenger is up... Ankle lock... no! Morrison manages to roll through and send Angle off the ropes... kick to the guy... moonlight drive! Morrison connects, we’ve got a new champion... 1... 2... Angle gets the shoulder up! Angle kicks out of the moonlight drive, as neither man can put the other away. Both men look exhausted as they get back to their feet, but Morrison gives it one last effort, as he lines Angle up... he tries for another moonlight drive... but Angle catches his foot... Styles: Ankle lock! Ankle lock! Angle has the ankle lock applied! Tazz: Morrison trying to reach the ropes... Styles: But Angle drops to the grapevine! There’s nowhere for Morrison to go... Tazz: He’s tapping! Morrison’s tapping! Kurt Angle beat John Morrison to retain the ECW Championship (A) Styles: An unbelievable effort from John Morrison, but Kurt Angle is still the ECW Champion! Tazz: And look at that, Kurt Angle, offering John Morrison a handshake. These two went at it, it was a great back and forth match, but the champ retained. Styles: A lot of respect from these two, but John Morrison’s quest to regain the ECW Championship has again fell short. --------------------- Backstage, Anastacia Rose is standing by with... Rose: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time, he is the WWE Champion... Jeff Hardy! And Jeff, tonight you face Triple H for your title, but the fans will choose the referee for the match. Jeff, what’s going to happen is the fans choose Shane McMahon to be the referee? Jeff: Well... I just gotta hope that doesn’t happen. If that does happen, then obviously it gives Triple H the advantage. But no matter what, I’m not losing this title tonight. My reign as WWE Champion just begun... and I’m not going to let Triple H end it. ---------------------- Maria: The World Heavyweight Championship is on the line now, as MVP will defend against a challenger of your choosing. Todd: The choices were Bobby Lashley, CM Punk and Rey Mysterio, three men MVP already holds victories over on pay per view. Maria: Let’s see how the voting turned out... Eventually the two tie up, and the champion takes the challenger down with a headlock, before wrenching back and applying pressure to Punk’s neck. Eventually Punk breaks free with elbows to the gut, but when he sends MVP off the ropes, the champion sends Punk back down with a shouldercharge before dropping the elbow. MVP again locks on a headlock as he looks to wear the challenger down. Again though, Punk fights out of it, and this time he mounts an attack, kneeing MVP in the face before coming off the ropes... flying clothesline! Punk looks to build on it, sending MVP to the corner and then following with another knee to the head... before coming out of the corner with a bulldog. 1... 2... MVP kicks out. Punk continues to apply pressure, looking for a double underhook backbreaker... but MVP counters, hitting a back body drop. The champion then locks Punk in a facelock before hitting a series of knees to the head before taking Punk down with a suplex. MVP then starts the theatrics, as he comes off the ropes for... the ballin’ elbow... but he takes too long and Punk rolls out of the way. Punk staggers back to his feet and starts teeing off with kicks to the thigh of the champion before nailing him with a roundhouse kick. MVP slumps to the mat, but Punk stays on the attack, sending MVP to the corner... reversal... here comes MVP... oh! He nails Punk with a kick to the face, and Punk falls to the mat. MVP then retreats to the other side of the ring, and he waits for Punk to get to his knees. Punk eventually gets there, and MVP charges in... drive by kick... but Punk nails him with a clothesline! Both men are back up... wheel kick from Punk! MVP drops to the mat, and the challenger climbs to the top rope... but he takes too long as MVP pushes the referee into the ropes, causing Punk to be hung up on the top turnbuckle. MVP now joins Punk in the corner, as he looks to suplex him off the top... but Punk hits a headbutt out of desperation to send MVP down. Punk now stands on the top rope... elbow drop! Punk connects, hooks the leg... 1... 2... MVP gets the shoulder up! The champion is reeling now, and Punk looks to stay on the attack, again using kicks to the head before sending MVP off the ropes... Punk has him on his shoulders... GTS... no! MVP fights out of it... chopblock to Punk... MVP off the ropes... drive by kick! MVP connects, hooks the leg... 1... 2... Punk kicks out! MVP can’t believe it, and he gets in the referee’s face, screaming that it should’ve been a 3 count. Coach on commentary shares this belief, but as MVP is arguing, Punk is back on his feet... Cole: Wait... here comes Punk... Coach: No! No! Cole: He has him up... In the ring, both Triple H and Hardy seem happy with the choice, Jeff glad the man he suggested was picked, while the doubt Triple H planted in recent weeks that Flair would ultimately call things his way is still fresh in the Game’s mind. Both men square up to each other, trash talking flowing from both sides, until eventually the fists start to fly. Hardy gains the upper hand, hitting three straight rights, until the Game hits a knee to the gut. He sends Hardy off the ropes, but the champion avoids the clothesline with a baseball slide... and then quickly hits a sitout jawbreaker. The Game staggers back, and Hardy sends him over the top rope with a clothesline. Flair begins to count, and Triple H takes all the time he can before getting back into the ring. Both men tie up, and it’s the Game who gains control, wrenching away on Hardy’s arm and focusing on his shoulder by taking him down and driving the knee. Triple H then locks on an armbar, before sending Hardy shoulder first into the ringpost. The fight then spills to the floor, as both men fight their way through the debris of the ECW desk, until Hardy is sent shoulder first into the steel steps. Flair admonishes the Game, and the fight quickly returns to the ring, where Triple H sends Hardy off the ropes... and hits the high knee to the face. Triple H then looks to send Hardy to the corner, but Hardy uses the ropes to leap up, wrap his legs around Triple H’s head... headscissor takedown! Hardy then clotheslines the Game back to the floor, but this time he doesn’t let his rest, quickly going to the top rope... crossbody! Again both men brawl on the outside, but Triple H regains control by driving Hardy into the barricade. Again Flair is forced to try and restore order, but the Game ignores him, pushing Flair out of the way before sending Hardy crashing off the ringpost. Eventually the action returns to the ring, were once more Triple H takes control, looking to slow the match down with an abdominal stretch. The crowd try to rally behind Jeff, and the champion manages to break free with a hiptoss. Hardy now looks to build some offense, catching the Game with a leg-feed mule kick and getting a 2 count. Hardy continues the pressure, sending Triple H to the corner... reversal... whisper in the wind! Hardy again goes for the cover... 1... 2... kick out! Hardy now looks to finish things, waiting for Triple H to get back up... twist of fate... no! Triple H counters... JR: Pedigree! Pedigree! King: I can’t believe it! And the Game is furious! King: Well... he better focus on Jeff and not get in Ric Flair’s face. That was a fair count from... JR: Oh! Triple H just slapped Ric Flair! Now that oughta be a disqual... King: Oh! Ric Flair just slapped him back! And now Hardy is back on his feet... kick... twist of fate! Jeff connects, and now he climbs to the top rope... swanton bomb... no! Triple H pushes Flair into the ropes! Hardy has a uncomfortable landing, and the Game looks to make his move, dragging Hardy down from the turnbuckle... pedigree... no! Hardy grabs Triple H’s legs... slingshot into the corner! The Game staggers out... twist of fate! Hardy hits the twist of fate again, and one more time he climbs to the top rope... swanton bomb! Now tonight, live in Tampa, FL, we begin the march to Survivor Series. Hello everyone, I’m Jim Ross alongside Jerry Lawler, welcome to Monday Night Raw! King, we witnessed one hell of a night last night. King: It was a huge night. The fans had their say, and they helped pick several matches and several new champions. JR: Tonight, two matches that weren’t chosen at Cyber Sunday, Cody Rhodes and Kenny Dykstra for the Intercontinental Championship and Finlay and Sheamus O’Shaunessy, will take place tonight. Also, we hope to hear from the WWE Champion Jeff Hardy after he retained the title... I HEAR VOICES IN MY HEAD... JR: But here comes the man who beat John Cena in a last man standing match last night, the legend killer, Randy Orton. King: JR... that was an absolute war between Orton and Cena last night. There’s no way either man will ever be the same after that. JR: It was an unforgiving night for both men, but it was Orton who came out on top. Orton: Last night... I finally ended things with John Cena. You people voted to see a last man standing match... and while you may not have wanted me to win... I was the last man standing. And now... now that I am free of Cena... I want the WWE Championship back! So right now... I am out here to challenge the WWE Champion Jeff Hardy to a match at Survivor Series. Jeff... I want you to come out here right now and accept my challenge. If you’re any kind of champion Jeff, you’ll... JR: Well here he comes! Here comes Jeff Hardy! King: Well last night Jeff finally saw off the threat of Triple H, and now he’s got Randy Orton challenging him. JR: Let’s see if Jeff will accept... Jeff: You want to challenge me at Survivor Series? Wow... what a turnaround man. I mean... you remember way back at the Royal Rumble? It was me challenging you for the title. And now... you’re challenging me? Don’t you think that’s kinda ironic Randy? I mean... it’s been just less than a year... but now I’m the champion and you’re the challenger. Orton: You know... that is pretty funny. But I also remember... that you couldn’t beat me Jeff. Sure you came close, sure we fought at the Rumble and then again at No Way Out... but you still couldn’t take the title away from me. You couldn’t beat me then Jeff... but if you’ve got any guts, if you’re any kind of champion... you’ll face me at Survivor Series. Jeff: Alright... I’ll face you at Survivor Series for my title. But you’ll find out, that I’m not the same Jeff Hardy who faced you at the Rumble. I’ve stepped up my game, I’ve taken it to another level... and there’s no way you’re going to end my reign now. JR: Oh... twist of fate! Twist of fate! Jeff just nailed Orton with the twist of fate! King: And... we’re going to see Jeff Hardy and Randy Orton one on one at Survivor Series! JR: What else is going to happen tonight? -------------------- Beth Phoenix v Jillian Hall After finally being pushed to the limit by Melina, Beth finally had enough and nailed the Women’s Champion last week. Tonight, she steps into the ring with Jillian Hall, determined to build on last week’s events and put herself forward for a titles shot. Start from the get go, the Glamazon shows her dominance, scooping Jillian up and hitting sidewalk slams and a vertical suplex. Jillian does manage to score some offense with a cartwheel into an elbowdrop and a handspring back elbow, before she grabs Beth’s hair, forces her to the mat and climbs to the top rope. Jillian steadies herself and waits for Beth to get back up, but when she goes for a crossbody, Phoenix catches her... fallaway slam! Beth quickly goes for the cover... 1... 2... Jillian barley kicks out. Phoenix is quickly back up though, and as Jillian staggers to her feet, the Glamazon is waiting... she hooks her up... glam slam! Beth connects, hooks the leg... 1... 2... 3! Beth Phoenix gets the win, and surely a showdown between her and Melina is destined to happen one day. Triple H: Look, I had him beat but Flair made a slow count on the pedigree, then he slapped me, and then... Vince: Enough of the excuses! I’m sick and tired of listening to you two. I am warning you Shane, you better get your head out your ass or I will give Teddy full control of Raw! Shane: What? No... Dad, c’mon. I mean... Teddy’s no McMahon. He can’t run Raw. Vince: Well the McMahon that’s running things right now isn’t doing all that great a job. Maybe... maybe I’ll need to take over? Triple H: Vince... we’ll handle it. We promise. Just give us some time. Vince: Alright... I’ll cut you two some slack. But I am warning both of you... get back the WWE Title... or neither of you will be here for much longer. ----------------------- Finlay v Sheamus O’Shaunessy After months of haunting videos, sneak attacks and backstage brawls, these two were set to go at it at Cyber Sunday, but the fans decided otherwise. So, the match now happens on Raw, and neither man wants to wait, as Finlay charges Sheamus as he makes it to the bottom of the ramp. An all out brawl ensues, with Sheamus being driven into the barricade and then sent crashing into the steel steps. After dominating opponents for so long, it finally looks like there is a weakness to Sheamus, but it doesn’t last for long, as the Irish Curse soon nails Finlay with a clothesline and the match finally enters the ring. Sheamus then clubs away at Finlay’s head, pummelling the veteran before sending him shoulder first into the ringpost. Sheamus continues to cause damage, slamming Finlay to the mat before locking in a bearhug. Sheamus wrenches away on Finlay, as the veteran cries out in agony. Eventually Finlay resorts to biting to break the hold, but when Finlay comes off the ropes, he runs into a huge boot. As Finlay crashes to the mat, the look on Hornswoggle’s face says it all, and Sheamus drags Finlay up and sets him up for... the Celtic slam... but Finlay is fighting it! Finlay fights his way out of it, and now he hits a series of right hands and kicks. Finlay looks like he’s making some progress, but when he scoops Sheamus up for the Celtic cross, this time Sheamus fights his way out of it... and he quickly has Finlay up... Celtic slam! Sheamus nails Finlay, hooks the leg... 1... 2... 3. Sheamus wins a tough match against Finlay, and he stares menacingly at Hornswoggle before eventually leaving the ring. So, last night the fans chose you Chris to be Mr Kennedy’s partner, and you wound up winning the tag team titles. Can you two now come together as a team and hold on those belts? Jericho: Can we come together as a team> I thought we did pretty good last night, considering we beat the Bulldogs for the gold. As for defending these belts, I’m sure we’ll be holding onto these for a long time to come. Kennedy: Yeah and Harry, TJ... I know you guys probably get a rematch, what with you being tight with Shane and all that. So anytime, anywhere you two punks want to go at it again... we’ll be ready. ------------------------ Chris Harris v Primo Colon Primo and Apolo make their way to the ring, but conspicuous by his absence is Carlito, no doubt still recovering from his loss to Shawn Michaels last night. This match starts at a fast pace, with Harris flying around the ring hitting a bulldog and a full nelson slam. Harris then looks to run the ropes, but Apolo grabs him by the foot, causing enough of a distraction for Primo to take charge. Primo then hits a dropkick and a hurricanrana, before distracting the referee to allow Apolo to hit a cheap shot. Primo then scoops Harris up and slams him to the mat, before making his way to the top rope. Primo steadies himself and goes for a corkscrew senton... but misses! Harris rolls out of the way, and now he starts teeing off with right hands, before sending Primo off the ropes... spinning spinebuster! Here’s the cover... 1... 2... Primo kicks out. Harris again starts hitting right hands, but once again Apolo gets involved as he comes off the ropes... right hand to Apolo! Primo again looks to hit Harris from behind, but Harris ducks his clothesline, hooks him up... and hits the spinning side slam! Harris hits his big move, hooks the leg... 1... 2... 3. Kennedy and Deuce starts things, with Kennedy quickly gaining the upper hand, taking Deuce down with a neckbreaker and a snap DDT. Jericho gets the tag, and he charges into the ring, taking Deuce down with clotheslines before hitting the one arm bulldog for a 2 count. Jericho then quickly jumps to the second rope, but when he goes for a dropkick, Domino runs the apron and nails him with a clothesline. The more experienced pairing of now go to work on Jericho, keeping him in their side of the ring and making plenty of tags to wear Jericho down. Deuce and Domino then set Jericho up for the crack ‘em in the mouth, but when Decue comes off the ropes for the kick, Kennedy makes the save with a clothesline, and the match descends into a four man brawl. A clothesline takes Deuce and Jericho over the top rope, while Domino hits right hands to Kennedy and sends him off the ropes... but Kennedy ducks the right hand... mic check! Kennedy nails Domino, hooks the leg... 1... 2... 3! And Jeff, tonight you face Mark Henry in our main event, but earlier tonight we found out you’ll face Randy Orton at Survivor Series for your WWE Title. After what Randy Orton did to John Cena last night, can you beat the legend killer? Jeff: Well... I gotta admit Randy Orton did a hell of a job to beat John Cena last night. And what he said earlier... he was right. I never did beat him at the Rumble or No Way Out. But that was then... and this is now. Now, I’m the WWE Champion and he’s the challenger. And at the Survivor Series... I will finally beat him. ---------------------- Intercontinental Championship Match Cody Rhodes (C) v Kenny Dykstra These two have been in each other’s faces ever since Shane McMahon announced a Cody v Kenny match for Cyber Sunday. The fans thought otherwise though, but we do see two of the top young stars going at it tonight. The champion starts the match strong, taking Dykstra down with a Russian legsweep and locking on an armbar. Kenny fights back up, but again Cody takes him down with a dropkick. Cody then drops knees and elbows, but when he goes for a bulldog, Dykstra sends Cody flying across the ring. Dykstra quickly takes advantage, hitting a neckbreaker before locking on a headlock. Dykstra wrenches back, applying pressure, but Cody fights back to his feet, only for Kenny to take him down again. Cody eventually breaks the hold with elbows to the gut, but when he comes off the ropes he runs right into a jumping back elbow. Kenny gets a 2 count, before slamming Cody to the mat and climbing to the top rope. Kenny gets there and steadies himself for... the legdrop off the top... but he misses! Cody rolls out of the way, and he starts hitting right hands, before taking Dykstra down with a bulldog. Cody then climbs to the top rope himself, and this time he connects with... a moonsault! Cody hooks the leg... 1... 2... Kenny kicks out! Cody can’t believe it, he thought he had retained the title, but then... JR: Now what the hell is this?! What the hell are these two doing out here? King: Uh... well... Harry’s up on the apron... JR: DDT! DDT! Cody hits the DDT... but TJ’s in the ring... King: Oh! TJ just hit Cody with the Intercontinental Title! JR: And now he drags Kenny across Cody! Here comes the referee... no! Not like this! 1... 2... King: This is a damn shame... JR: 3! Kenny Dykstra beat Cody Rhodes to become the new Intercontinental Champion (A) JR: Dammit! And... sadly... we’ve got a new Intercontinental Champion. --------------------- JR: Welcome back folks. Right now, Jeff Hardy is set to go one on one with... I HEAR VOICES IN MY HEAD... King: What? JR: Well... that’s Randy Orton’s music. Orton is not scheduled to wrestle tonight so... I have no idea why he’s coming out here right now. King: Well I don’t either but... he’s coming over here with us. JR: I appears we are going to be joined on commentary by the legend killer. King: Uh... Randy? Orton: Well since Jeff Hardy claims to be a different man than the last time I faced him, I figured I’d come out here and see for myself. King: So you’re out here on a scouting mission? Orton: You could say that, yeah. JR: Scouting mission? Give me a break... Henry tries to take advantage of this by charging Jeff in the corner, but the champion avoids the contact, as Henry goes into the turnbuckle. Jeff hits right hands to the midsection, but Henry just pushes him across the ring. Jeff again goes for more right hands, but again the power of Henry sends him flying. Jeff charges in for a third time, and when he ducks a clothesline from Henry, he quickly goes to the top rope... whisper in the wind! Jeff goes for an early cover... 1... 2... Henry kicks out. Jeff tries to stay on the attack, but again Henry turns to his power game, scooping hardy up and riving him to the corner. Clubbing blows rain down on Jeff’s back, before Henry nails Jeff with a short arm clothesline. Henry comes off the ropes and goes for a big splash, but Jeff rolls out of the way. Hardy now goes to the top rope, but when he jumps off, Henry catches him... and hits a huge belly to belly suplex, getting himself a 2 count. Jeff is again sent to the corner, but once again when Henry goes for the big splash Jeff avoids him. The champion goes to the top rope, but Henry has the presence of mind to push Hardy off, sending him to the floor. Jeff lands just infront of the Raw announce desk, and as he gets back to his feet, Orton remains in his chair with a steely look on his face. Jeff looks as if he’s about to get back in the ring, until he dives across the desk and starts nails Orton with a right hand, knocking his headset clean off. Jeff then returns to the ring, where he ducks a clothesline... kick to the gut... twist of fate! Jeff hits the twist of fate, and now he goes to the top rope... swanton bomb! Jeff connects and quickly goes for the cover... 1... 2... 3! Jeff Hardy beat Mark Henry (B) JR: Jeff Hardy scores the win, but... King: Hey! Randy Orton just charged into the ring... JR: Oh! RKO! RKO! Orton catches Jeff with the RKO! King: Well Jeff got in Orton’s face during the match, and now Orton just returned the favour. JR: And now what? Orton... coiling up ready to strike... King: Here he comes... JR: Oh! For God's sake! Randy Orton just punted Jeff Hardy in the head! King: And look at that sight JR. Randy Orton, standing over Jeff Hardy, holding the WWE Championship. JR: We’re still three weeks away from Survivor Series, but already these two are looking to score points on each other. Well... we’re out of time folks. 4 title changes in 2 days?! You really like to shake things up, don't you? Seriosuly though, they were good shake ups. I like Cody as IC Champ, it fits quite well for some reason, but so does Dykstra as champion. It's good booking because of the tension there could be amongst him being the only champion in Revolution. So good change for sure. Jericho & Kennedy seem like a perfect fit as champions for some reason. I could imagine them both as midcarders, wearing matching outfits with the similar look, they could have been a proper 100% full time tag team. Of course then you are missing out on Kennedy getting revenge on Revolution and the awesomeness of solo Jericho. I'd love to see him as a heel at some point, the awesome heel he's been this year, but you're handling him well enough as it is! I wasn't sure about the Smackdown title change because you were doing a good job of finally getting MVP over as a champion in my mind, but as time progressed I prefer CM Punk as the champion. I think he fits the mold a bit better for the time being. Out of interest, what would you have done with Punk, Jericho and Morrison hadn't been selected? Would you have still gone with the same results? Orton vs Jeff will be a good match for Survivor Series, especially as Randy is so good at the moment. He is a great heel and it looks like you're working with him well. Of course, he won't be champion come 'Mania as you have laid the seeds for Orton vs Austin which is awesome! So yeah, loved the last couple of shows as always. This really is one of the best diaries on here.

So yeah, loved the last couple of shows as always. This really is one of the best diaries on here.
Hey keef, thanks for the comments. I do like changing things up yeah. I guess sometimes things get a little stale, so title changes always freshen things up a bit. We're definitly on the same page regarding Dykstra being the only champion in Revolution, and it's the tension in the group is something I want to build on before a certain upcoming PPV. Jericho and Kennedy amongst others will also play into this. As for the Smackdown title change, I always wanted MVP to have a long title reign, and I was pleased wtih the match ratings he was getting, but it was time for a change. But hopefully the fact he had a pretty long title reign gives him some credibility as a champion in peoples eyes. As for the picks, I had certain back up plans ready for whoever was picked. To be honest, I was hoping for Mysterio to get picked for Cyber Sunday, but I was never going to have him win the title. I would've then had Punk beat MVP at Survivor Series. But since Punk was picked for CS, the back up plan now comes into things for SS and Armaggeddon. As long as Lashley didn't get picked (as I have other plans for him) then it was all good. I was pulling for Jericho, so I was glad he got picked. Had Undertkaer been picked... I could've run with him I guess, but it would've been awkward. Again though, as long as Batista didn't win (as I have other plans for him too) it was all good. As for the ECW Championship, that one was a case of no matter who was picked, Angle would retain. That sounds pretty sneaky, but I know exactly where, when and how Kurt will drop the belt. And I was hoping someone noticed the Orton/Austin bit. It kinda goeson pause for a while, but we are coming back to it eventually. I already have a ridiculous series of promos written for a Raw some point in 2009, and I'm no where near there, but I already have so many ideas for that. Again man, thanks so much for the coments.

Not only did we see a great ECW Championship match between Kurt Angle and John Morrison, but Shelton Benjamin beat Edge in a tables, ladders and chairs match to win the battle of the brands. Tonight, the party begins in Orlando, FL! Hello everyone, I’m Joey Styles alongside Tazz, and Tazz, Shelton Benjamin did it. He won the battle brands for ECW. Tazz: And what a job Shelton Benjamin did at Cyber Sunday. Taking Edge on in his signature match and beating him. Hell of a job Shelton. Styles: Tonight, we also hope to hear from the ECW Champion Kurt Angle as well as Shelton Benjamin... but the sounds of cars crashing can only mean one thing, it’s the ECW general manager Mick Foley! Tazz: Look at the smile on Mick’s face! He’s loving the fact he got one over on JBL and Smackdown. Foley: First of all... I just want to say it’s great to be here tonight in Orlando, FL! At Cyber Sunday, Shelton Benjamin represented ECW in the battle of the brands against Edge... and I gotta say, he did one hell of a job! He took on Edge at his own game... and he beat him. He did it for the brand, he did it for the pride of ECW... and for that, Shelton, I thank you. And you know, I was trying to think of the right way to say thank you... and I can think of no better way, than declaring Shelton Benjamin the number one contender for the ECW Championship! Tazz: Wow! What a match that’s going to be! Styles: Kurt Angle and Shelton Benjamin one on one for the title! Foley: And that match is going to take place, at the Survivor Series! Now, I have some other business to take care... Styles: Wait a minute. Wait that’s... that’s Umaga! Umaga and Armando Estrada are coming out here. Tazz: What are these guys doing out here? Estrada: My name... haha... is Armando... Estrada! Mick Foley... how can you name Shelton Benjamin the number one contender to the ECW Title... when Shelton Benjamin has never beaten the Samoan bulldozer... Umaga! Foley: Well... that’s true. Shelton Benjamin never has beaten Umaga one on one. But uh... I don’t think that necessarily means Umaga should be the number one contender. I mean, Umaga has had his chance at Kurt Angle, and he didn’t get it done. Then he had another chance at Cyber Sunday... but the fans didn’t vote for him. So... I’ll tell you what. How about tonight, we have a little match to determine the number one contender? It’ll be Umaga, one on one with Shelton Benjamin! If Umaga can win, he can go to the Survivor Series. But if Umaga loses... he never gets another shot, as long as Kurt Angle is the champion! Styles: What a stipulation that is! If Umaga wins, he goes to Survivor Series to face Kurt Angle. Tazz: Yeah but if Shelton Benjamin wins, and I hope he does, he goes to Survivor Series, and Umaga never gets another shot at Kurt Angle! Foley: Now, you can whine all you want Estrada, but that’s my terms. Oh... and have a nice day! Styles: What a main event that is going to be! Shelton Benjamin and Umaga, two former ECW Champions, one on one tonight! ---------------------- Colt Cabana v Charlie Hass Colt Cabana once again puts his undefeated streak on the line, as he takes on Charlie Hass. Hass catches Cabana early with a belly-to-back takedown, and he uses his great mat skills to lock on a chinlock. Cabana reverses into a bridging pin, which leads to a series of roll ups for 2 counts. Hass ends the series with a hard clothesline, before stomping away on Cabana. Hass then hits an overhead belly-to-belly suplex, before dropping a quick legdrop and climbing to the top rope. Hass gets there, steadies himself... and goes for a moonsault... but he misses! Hass crashes into the mat, and Cabana gets back to his feet first, teeing off with right hands before sending Hass off the ropes... leapfrog... monkey flip sends Hass flying! Cabana is quickly back up... hurricanrana! 1... 2... Hass kicks out. Cabana then looks for a northern lights suplex, but Hass counters... overhead belly-to-back... but Cabana lands on his feet... and nails Hass with an enziguri! Another cover... 1... 2... again Hass hangs on. Cabana can’t believe it, but he now looks to finish Hass off, hoisting him up on his shoulders and placing him on the top turnbuckle. Cabana then climbs up with him... frankensteiner! Hass goes crashing to the mat, but Cabana isn’t done, climbing back t the top rope... big splash off the top! 1... 2... 3! Now, tonight, you take on a man you’ve never beaten one on one. Shelton, can you finally beat Umaga and go on to face Kurt Angle? Benjamin: You know, at Cyber Sunday when I beat Edge, it took a hell of an effort to get it done. But tonight... it might take even more to beat Umaga. Yes, ever since Umaga got drafted to ECW he’s had my number... but tonight, I will finally beat him. Kingston then goes for a Russian legsweep, but Burke counters into a neckbreaker before sending Kingston to the corner with an Irish whip and hitting a big splash. Kingston slumps to the mat, and Burke charges in... outer limitz elbow... no! Kingston gets a foot up to block it, and he quickly goes to the top rope... crossbody! 1... 2... Burke kicks out! Burke hangs on, but Kingston looks to stay on the attack, coming off the ropes and ducking a clothesline... enziguri! Again Kingston goes for the cover... 1... 2... Burke barely gets the shoulder up. The crowd gets behind Kofi, and when Burke eventually gets back to his feet, Kofi looks to strike... trouble in paradise... no! Burke ducks... Elijah experience! Elijah Burke beat Kofi Kingston (C+) ---------------------- Styles: Welcome back to ECW on Sci-Fi folks. Up next, The Brian Kendrick defends the Cruiserweight Title against Paul London, but right now, we have an update on the condition of Kane. Tazz: As we know, Kane was hurt pretty badly just before No Mercy at the hands of Umaga. Kane suffered some pretty bad burns, and we understand he went into some kind of trance, he wouldn’t talk to anybody, and doctors, out of concern for his condition, had Kane committed to a psychiatric ward. Styles: We understand that recently Kane has been making improvements, and we understand Kane is getting better. He’s still refusing to talk to anybody, and doctors are still worried about his mental health and his state of mind. Tazz: There’s still no schedule, or no dates set for when Kane might be released. Styles: Kane, if you are watching and you can hear us, we wish you all the best and we hope to see you back on Sci-Fi soon. Tazz: Well here comes The... emphasis on the ‘The’... Brian Kendrick. Styles: Kendrick accompanied by his advisor Danny Rodimer, set to go one on one with Paul London for the Cruiserweight Championship... Rodimer is an imposing figure at ringside, but London manages to block him out, nailing Kendrick with a dropkick to take control early. London then turns up the pace, hitting a tornado DDT and an enziguri, before Kendrick rolls to the floor to regroup with Rodimer. As Rodiemr helps Kendrick back to his feet, London stays on the attack... suicide dive takes out both men! London hits right hands to Kendrick before rolling him back into the ring, where Kendrick tries to cower off into the corner. London stays on the attack though, dragging Kendrick back up and going for a hurricanara... but Kendrick counters... powerbomb! Kendrick drives London to the mat, and goes for the cover... 1... 2... London gets the shoulder up. Kendrick now stomps away on London, hitting a double foot stomp before locking on a chinlock and hitting a series of forearms. Kendrick then delivers a stiff kick to London’s back, before sending London off the ropes... who ducks a clothesline... flying forearm! London is quickly back up... another tornado DDT! London goes for the cover... 1... 2... Kendrick kicks out! London has the title in his sights, and he looks to finish things off, slamming Kendrick to the mat and climbing to the top rope. London steadies himself... but Rodimer is up on the apron... kick to Rodimer’s face sends him flying. London steadies himself... 450 splash! London connects, hooks the leg... Styles: Here’s the cover... 1... 2... Tazz: New champion! Styles: Rodimer pulls the referee out of the ring! Tazz: What the hell? Styles: The referee’s calling for the bell! London wins by DQ but Kendrick keeps the title. Paul London beat The Brian Kendrick by disqualification (B) Tazz: Well... it looked like London was about to put Kendrick away, but Danny Rodimer made the save. Styles: And now Rodimer is laying a beatdown on Paul London. Tazz: And look at the size of this guy Rodimer, just taking London apart and... Styles: Oh! Rodimer just nailed London with a jacknife powerbomb! Tazz: And look at Kendrick dancing over Paul London like that with the Cruiserweight Title. This guy Kendrick really deserves an ass kicking. -------------------- Once again, Anastacia Rose is standing by, this time with... Rose: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time, he is the ECW Champion... Kurt Angle! And Kurt, tonight we’ll find out who you will face at Survivor Series. It’ll either be Shelton Benjamin or Umaga. Kurt, who would you rather face for your ECW Championship? Angle: Well... I guess if I’m being honest, I’d rather face Umaga. I mean, I’ve already beaten Umaga two times in the last month so... I’d feel pretty confident I could beat him again. That and... I remember Shelton Benjamin back when he was a member of Team Angle. You remember that? Me, Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Hass. You know, I taught Shelton a lot back in those days. I know how good he is... but if he does win tonight... I won’t hold back at Survivor Series. I’ll do whatever it takes to keep my title. It’s true, it’s damn true! --------------------- Umaga v Shelton Benjamin The number one contender spot for Survivor Series is on the line here, but this match means more than that for Shelton Benjamin, who looks to finally grab a win against the Samoan bulldozer. The match starts with Umaga overpowering Shelton, pushing him from corner to corner and unloading with big shots to the gut. An Irish whip sends Shelton to the corner, but when Umaga charges in, Benjamin dodges the contact. Shelton now attacks, hitting forearms to the head before nailing Umaga with a roundhouse kick. Benjamin goes for the cover but Umaga powers out at 2, and when both men quickly get back up, Benjamin comes off the ropes... and runs into a heel kick! Benjamin hits the mat, and Umaga comes off the ropes... big splash! Umaga goes for the cover... 1... 2... Shelton kicks out. Umaga then locks on a nerve hold, as he applies pressure to the neck of Benjamin. The crowd try to rally behind Shelton, and eventually he breaks the hold and gets back to his feet, before hitting more right hands and sending Umaga to the corner... big splash in the corner from Shelton! Umaga staggers out, and Benjamin comes from behind... bulldog! Shelton has the cover... 1... 2... Umaga kicks out. Both men get back to their feet, and again Shelton hits a series of right hands, but when he looks to send Umaga off the ropes, Umaga reverses... and catches Shelton in a huge Samoan drop! Umaga then drags Shelton to the corner, lines him up... oh! Samoan wrecking ball connects as Shelton’s head snaps back, and Umaga goes for another cover... 1... 2... Benjamin gets the shoulder up! Estrada can’t believe it at ringside, but he quickly encourages Umaga to end things. Umaga drags Shelton to his feet, and he lines him up... Samoan spike... no! Benjamin ducks... paydirt! Benjamin hits paydirt, and quickly goes for the cover... 1... 2... 3! Shelton Benjamin beat Umaga (B+) Styles: He did it! He did it! Shelton Benjamin has beaten Umaga! Tazz: And now Shelton is going to Survivor Series to face Kurt Angle! I think I can some up everything I would normally say just by telling you that you make me want to play as WWE on TEW. And oh, the minor details like the announcers introducing the shows are so accurate and well written, I'm just so impressed. Part of me wishes this wasn't a RL WWE so it would get the vocal support it deserves, but then again, if it wasn't WWE it would take away from the story, so what can you do?! :p

I guess it's pretty uncool amongst most people on this forum to do a RL WWE diary, but hey ho, it's what I like. But I'd like to think maybe mine has gone off on a tangent now, so it's establsihed itself as different from RL events. Anyway, thanks again. Your comments are always appreciated and are always nice to read.

Welcome to Smackdown! Hello everyone, I’m Michael Cole alongside Jonathan Coachman, we’re in Orlando, FL tonight, but at Cyber Sunday, we saw a new World Heavyweight Champion crowned. Coach: It was the worse day in the history of Smackdown. Not only did we lose the battle of the brands to ECW, MVP, one of the greatest champions in Smackdown history, was robbed of his title by CM Punk. Unbelievable night! Cole: Well I happened to enjoy the fact that our fans voted for CM Punk to face MVP and he then went on to beat him for the title. Coach: Well you would, you’re the most biased commentary I’ve ever had the misfortune to work with. Cole: The feeling’s mutual. Anyway, tonight we hope to hear from our new champion... but that’s the music of our general manager, JBL. Coach: Well I hope JBL has something good to say, because Cyber Sunday was just embarrassing for all of us... JBL: Cyber Sunday... was one of the worse nights of my wrestling career. I took Smackdown into battle with ECW... and I lost. And for that... I completely... and utterly... blame Edge! I asked Edge to take care of things for me... and he couldn’t do it. That’s why I have suspended Edge indefinitely. Cole: What? Edge is suspended? Coach: Uh... well. I’m not so sure that’s all that smart a move. I mean... JBL: Furthermore... I am fining Hawkins and Ryder a month’s salary, and I am forcing them to defend their tag team titles tonight against Cryme Tyme. Cole: Alright! Cryme Tyme get a shot at the gold tonight! Coach: What is...? Has JBL lost his mind?! What is he doing?! JBL: As for ECW, Mick Foley and Shelton Benjamin... I tip my hat to you, you won at Cyber Sunday. However... I refuse to let things die just like that. I refuse to say this war is over. ECW may have won the battle at Cyber Sunday, but you will not win the war. Mick Foley... I am challenging you and ECW to a traditional, Survivor Series match! Cole: What? Coach: Good. Now this I agree with. A chance for us to get back at ECW. I like it... JBL: What do you say Mick? I choose five guys, you choose five guys, and we settle things at the Survivor Series! Now Mick, I know you’re not here tonight, but I know we all will be in Manchester, England next week. So Mick, I will be on ECW next Tuesday, and I expect an answer... and it better be a yes. Cole: Well once again JBL has laid down a challenge to ECW and Mick Foley. A traditional Survivor Series match, between Smackdown and ECW. Coach: And I have to believe that this time we can get the job done. This time we can do it, I know we can! Cole: Yeah cause the last time JBL challenged ECW it worked out well didn’t it? Coach: That was different! We let those idiots at home make the decisions! This time it’s five on five, and we’re going to win! ---------------------- Big Show v Chuck Palumbo We kick things off with Chuck Palumbo and the Big Show, two big brawlers going at it. Palumbo tries to attack early, but Show blocks every piece of Palumbo’s offense, blocking right hands and hitting headbutts and catching Palumbo in clotheslines when he runs the ropes. Big Show then tosses Palumbo to the corner and starts raining down with right hands, before a hard Irish whip sends Palumbo crashing off the turnbuckle. Big Show then goes for a huge legdrop, but Palumbo manages to roll out of the way. Palumbo now stomps away and drops elbows, and when he eventually gets Show back on his feet, he comes off the ropes with a diving shoulderblock... but it only staggers Show. Palumbo tries a clothesline... but he can’t get the big guy down. Palumbo then hits a big boot and finally gets Show down, but his cover only gets him a 2 count. Palumbo then goes to the corner to wait for Show to get back up, and when he does, Palumbo charges in... but Show catches him by the throat... chokeslam! Show drives Palumbo to the mat, hooks the leg... 1... 2... 3! Big Show beat Chuck Palumbo (C+) ---------------------- Backstage, Eve Torres is standing by with the new World Heavyweight Champion... Eve: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time, he is the new World Heavyweight Champion... CM Punk! And CM, at Cyber Sunday the fans chose you to face MVP for the World Heavyweight Championship, and you won. How are you feeling? Punk: I feel great. I mean, I’m the World Heavyweight Champion. Everything I worked for has been leading up to this. I gotta thank the fans for voting for me, if it wasn’t for them I wouldn’t be standing here as the champion right now. And I know MVP is going to be coming after me, and I know the entire locker room is going to want a shot at my title. So to them... I say bring it on! I’ll take on all challengers, and I’ll take on anybody JBL wants to put infront of me. Smackdown better get ready... cause the straight edge superstar is the champ now. --------------------- Jimmy Wang Yang v Ted DiBiase Newcomer Ted DiBiase is back in action, this week against Jimmy Wang Yang. So far Ted is 2 for 2, and he looks to continues his impressive start again tonight. DiBiase takes control early on, catching Jimmy with a clothesline and driving the knee into his face. DiBiase then goes for a vertical suplex, but Jimmy shows great athleticism, countering the move into a victory roll for a 2 count. Jimmy is quickly back up, taking DiBiase down with a headscissors before hitting a standing moonsault for a 2 count. Jimmy then looks to sends DiBiase off the ropes, but Ted reverses... and nails Jimmy with a knee to the gut. DiBiase then stomps away, before dropping a fist onto Jimmy’s head. DiBiase then sends Jimmy off the ropes, and he catches him with... the million dollar dream... but Jimmy tries to fight it... and he manages to break Ted’s grip... and take him down with a monkey flip. Both men are quickly back up, but Jimmy beats DiBiase to the punch, again taking Ted down with a hurricanrana before hitting a series of right hands. DiBiase staggers to the corner, and Jimmy sends him across... reversal... Jimmy quickly to the top rope... moonsault... no! DiBiase makes Jimmy miss, and as he staggers back to his feet, DiBiase strikes... million dollar dream! This time DiBiase has it locked in, and as he wrenches away, Jimmy slowly fades, until the referee calls for the bell and DiBiase once again wins by submission. This is about me building my team for Survivor Series. I want you two to be a part of my five man team to face ECW. Mysterio: Why should we do anything for you? JBL: For me? This isn’t about me, this is about Smackdown! I mean... Lashley, Smackdown is the brand you made your debut on, Smackdown is the place that brought you into the WWE. And Rey, you’ve been a part of Smackdown ever since you signed for the WWE. I want you two on my team come Survivor Series. Lashley: You want me on your team? It’s going to cost you. JBL: Cost me? What you want a bonus or something? Lashley: No... I want a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship. JBL: What? Mysterio: And I want one too! JBL: Now wait a minute... I don’t know about that. Lashley: That’s the deal JBL. JBL: Alright... alright. Tonight, CM Punk will defend the World Heavyweight Championship in a triple threat match against Bobby Lashley and Rey Mysterio! How’s that sound? Mysterio: Uh... I don’t know about you Lashley, but I’d rather have my shot be a one on one type of thing. Lashley: I couldn’t agree more. JBL: Alright fine! You both get a shot at Punk! Tonight, Lashley you face Punk for the title, the winner faces Mysterio next week in England. But that is my final offer! Lashley: Sounds good to me. Mysterio: I’m happy with that. JBL: Good. Now, regardless of who wins the title or doesn’t, I want both of you in my team at Survivor Series, is that clear? Mysterio: You got it JBL. Lashley: Alright I’m in. Shad and Hawkins kick things off, and the big guy takes control early, driving Hawkins to his corner and hitting hard right hands to the gut. JTG comes in, and he nails a dropkick from the second rope for a 2 count. JTG then sends Hawkins off the ropes, but Ryder makes a blind tag as JTG sends Hawkins flying with a back body drop, allowing Ryder to hit a neckbreaker from behind. Hawkins and Ryder now focus on JTG, hitting backbreakers and Russian legsweeps to wear him down. Ryder then crouches in the corner, waiting for JTG to get back up, but when he goes for a spear, JTG leapfrogs him... and then nails Ryder with a clothesline. Both men starts to crawl to their corners to make tags, seeing Shad and Hawkins enter the ring. Hawkins runs into a shoulderblock, before Shad takes him down with a sidewalk slam for a 2 count. Ryder is back up, but he quickly gets sent over the top rope, leaving Hawkins alone in the ring. Shad and JTG then send Hawkins off the ropes, and when Shad gets him up on his shoulders, JTG comes off the ropes looking for the G9... but Ryder grabs his foot, quickly jumps into the ring... spear to Shad! I already suspended one former champion today in Edge, I won’t hesitate to do it again! MVP: Alright but... what the hell?! JBL: Look, I know you have a rematch, I’m fine with that. But I had to give Lashley a shot to get him on my team for Survivor Series. MVP: Yeah but... I mean... alright fine. But next week, in England... then I want my rematch. JBL: That’s not going to happen either. MVP: What? JBL: You see... I also wanted Rey Mysterio on my Survivor Series team... so I had to promise him a title shot next week. MVP: You gotta be kiddin’ me! Tell me your kiddin’ me?! JBL: I’m afraid not... MVP: Lashley and Mysterio both get title shots before I do? JBL: But once Lashley and Mysterio have had their shots, then it’s yours. And I know you will win back the title, and I know you will lead Smackdown to victory at Survivor Series. MVP: What? You pull all this on me, and now you want me on your team for Survivor Series? There’s not a chance in hell I’m being on your team at Survivor Series! JBL: What? MVP: I’ll tell you what’s gonna happen man. I have decided... that I will cash in my rematch for Survivor Series. I will face the World Heavyweight Champion, whoever that may be, and I will get back my title. JBL: You’re going to regret ever messing with me MVP. MVP: I don’t care what you do... as long as I get back my championship. Lashley starts the match in impressive fashion, overpowering Punk and pushing him around the ring. Punk then looks to come off the ropes, but Lashley catches him in a spinning spinebuster for an early 2 count. The match quickly leaves the ring, as the bad blood between the two recently threatens to spill over, with Lashley sending Punk crashing into the steel steps and Punk reversing an Irish whip, sending Lashley into the ringpost. Back in the ring, the hard hitting continues, as Lashley nails an overhead belly-to-belly, while Punk fires back with a roundhouse kick. Both men struggle to their feet, where Lashley hits a series of forearms before scooping Punk up for a long vertical suplex. Lashley continues to show his power, hoisting Punk up for a military press slam... but Punk hits out of it, drops down the back and hits a bulldog. The match continues to swing back and forth, until Punk sends Lashley to the corner and follows up with a knee to the face... but when Punk goes for a bulldog, Lashley counters, tossing Punk over the top rope to the floor. Lashley goes outside and rolls Punk back in, and he again hits power moves, hitting a backbreaker and following it up with a fallaway slam. Lashley again gets a 2 count, but he retreats to the corner and crouches down, waiting for Punk to get back on his feet. Punk finally staggers back up, and Lashley charges in... spear! Lashley hits the spear, and it looks like it’s over... Cole: Lashley hit the spear! We’ve got a new champion! Coach: I can’t believe this. This has gotta be one of the shortest reigns in Smackdown history. Cole: Here comes the cover... 1... 2... what the hell?! Cole: MVP just dragged Lashley out of the ring... oh! And he nails him with a chair shot! Bobby Lashley beat CM Punk by disqualification (B) Cole: Well... CM Punk has retained the title, but it was thanks to a huge assist from MVP. Coach: I don’t understand this. I mean at MVP came out here, nailed Lashley and saved the title for Punk. Cole: Well... I honestly don’t understand this. We went off the air with the sight of Randy Orton standing over the WWE Champion Jeff Hardy, the title held aloft in the hands of the legend killer. Tonight, we are live from the United Kingdom in Manchester, England for Monday Night Raw, and the champion is bound to have something to say. Hello everyone, I’m good ol’ JR, Jim Ross alongside Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler, and King, what a night we have in store. King: You’re not kiddin’! Tonight, in a rematch from last week, Finlay goes one on one with Sheamus O’Shaunessy in a Belfast Brawl! You know that’s going to be a brutal match up right there. JR: We hope to hear from Jeff Hardy and Randy Orton as we continue the march to Survivor Series, last week also saw Kenny Dykstra become the new Intercontinental Champion and... King: Wait a minute... that’s... JR: That’s Teddy Long! The co-general manager of Raw is making his way out here. King: Well... I don’t have any idea why Teddy is coming up here but... you don’t think this has something to do with what Batista and Shawn Michaels were discussing with Teddy last week do you? JR: I guess it could. Let’s find out... Teddy: Holla at ya Manchester! It is great to be here in the United Kingdom, and I know the Raw brand will put on a hell of a show for ya! But right now... I’m going to something that I might regret, but enough is enough. I am sick and tired of Shane McMahon and Revolution running around like they own this show. So... Shane... Revolution... I’m callin’ you out playas! King: What?! Is he crazy? JR: I don’t know if that’s all that smart and idea Teddy... Heroes by Motorhead plays out... King: Oh boy... here they come. JR: I... I can’t believe Teddy Long is doing this I mean... King: This is suicide! Shane: Wait a minute... wait a minute. You’re calling us out? You... Teddy Long... is calling out Revolution? Is there something in the water here in England or something? You want a fight with us? Teddy: That’s right playa! Shane: Alright... alright Teddy, you got it. Uh... Harry, TJ... you guys think you can handle this? Teddy: Whoa, whoa, whoa... hold up playa. I don’t mean a fight with me personally. I don’t mean a fight here tonight. What I mean is... a fight at Survivor Series! What I mean is... you five Revolution guys, against five guys that I pick for my team. What I mean is... I’m challenging Revolution to a traditional Survivor Series match! JR: What a challenge that is! King: Well I guess Teddy hasn’t totally lost his mind after all... Shane: Alright... alright. We can do that. You find five guys willing to go to bat for you, and we’ll see you at Survivor Series. Teddy: Wait a second Shane... wait a second. I’m not finished yet playa. I think we oughta raise the stakes a little bit. So how about this? Revolution against my team... for the general manager’s position here on Monday Night Raw! King: What?! JR: I like the sound of that! What do you say Shane? You got the guts to accept? King: Of course he does, he’s a McMahon... Shane: Your team against Revolution... and the winner gets sole control of Raw? Teddy: That’s right playa! Shane: Alright... alright we’ll do it! You bring five guys to Survivor Series and you’ll have your match! JR: Alright! The match is set, Revolution against Team Long, the winner gets sole control of Monday Night Raw! King: Yeah but look at Triple H’s face. He does not look happy. Shane: But Teddy... Teddy, I promise you... it’s going to be your last night in this company! Teddy: I’ll take my chances... holla playa! JR: Business has just picked up! At Survivor Series, it’ll be Revolution against Team Long for control of Monday Night Raw! ------------------------ Belfast Brawl Finlay v Sheamus O’Shaunessy Just like last week, Finlay doesn’t even wait for the bell to ring, as he nails Sheamus with a dropkick through the ropes. The early moments of the match see Finlay take control, sending Sheamus crashing into the steel steps and hitting hard kicks to the face. Finlay then goes looking under the ring, bringing out trash cans and steel chairs. Sheamus takes a shot to the head with the trash can, before it gets placed on Sheamus’ head... and Finlay starts hitting the can with the shillelagh! Eventually the match gets into the ring, where Finlay continues to wreck the trash can on Sheamus’ head. Finlay again goes under the ring for more weapons, but this gives Sheamus a chance to recover, and when Finlay holds up a chair, Sheamus kicks it into Finlay’s face. Again the fight goes outside, this time with Sheamus driving Finlay into the barricade and then nailing Finlay with a hard chair shot. Sheamus now grabs the shillelagh, nailing Finlay on the leg, across the back and on the head. Hornswoggle is standing nearby, and when Sheamus sees him out of the corner of his eye, he pushes the little guy to the ground. This seems to spur Finlay on, as he quickly gets back to his feet, grabs the shillelagh and starts unloading. Sheamus goes back into the ring to try stop the punishment, but Finlay stays on him... until Sheamus nails him with a kick to the groin. With it all being legal, Finlay slumps to the mat, while Sheamus positions a trash can, hoists Finlay up... Celtic slam on the trash can! Finlay looks out of it, and Sheamus goes for the cover... 1... 2... 3. Sheamus O’Shaunessy beat Finlay (B+) King: Wow. This Sheamus O’Shaunessy, this Irish curse... he’s just downright scary JR. JR: No doubt about that. Sheamus is an absolute monster. He... King: Wait a minute... what’s he looking at Hornswoggle for? JR: I have no idea but... oh now c’mon! Leave the little guy alone! King: Sheamus has Hornswoggle by the collar... no! JR: No! Don’t... oh! Sheamus O’Shaunessy just tossed little Hornswoggle into the ringpost! King: What did he do that for? What possible meaning was there for that? JR: This Sheamus O’Shaunessy, yeah he’s a monster, yeah he’s tougher than a two dollar steak, but he is a sick human being! ---------------------- Backstage, Revolution are at odds in Shane’s office... Triple H: What did you agree to that for? We could wind up losing control of Raw! What’s your Dad going to say then? Shane: Hey, my Dad said to take back the WWE Title. To do that, I need to take back control of my show! Besides, how hard can it be? Who’s going to want to sign up for his team? Triple H: How about everybody we’ve stepped on, pissed off and screwed over in the last few months? How about guys like Jericho, Kennedy, Batista? All those guys are gonna want to be in his team! Shane: Wait a second... wait, do I detect doubt in the mind of the Game? I thought you were the cerebral assassin, I thought you were the best in the business! Triple H: You damn well know I am. I’m not worried about me... I’m worried my team. Kenny: Whoa, what? Triple H: Let’s face it Kenny. Jeff Hardy managed to take out all three of you guys by himself at No Mercy, imagine what’s going to happen at Survivor Series. Harry: Yeah well, I seem to remember Jeff taking you out that night too. TJ: I think you can still see the imprint of a briefcase on your head Game. Triple H: You three better watch your mouths, you understand me? You just remember who you’re talking to here. Kenny: Well you know what, Game? As far as I can see, I’m the only champion in this room right now. I beat Cody Rhodes last week for the Intercontinental Title, becoming the youngest Intercontinental Champion in history, and I think that gives me plenty of right to speak my mind. Triple H: Oh you think so? Well... why don’t you prove it? Why don’t you put that title on the line tonight... against me? Shane: Hey! Hey! What is this? You going to let Teddy Long tear us apart like this? C’mon! We’ve got to stand our ground and fight! We’ve got to stick, more than ever now. Kenny: You know what Game? I got a better idea. How about instead of me defending the Intercontinental Title... I take on Jeff Hardy for the WWE Title. I’ll beat Jeff, I’ll bring the title back to Revolution. What do you say Game? Triple H: You and Jeff? Alright... fine. But if you win the title... you surrender that belt to me. Kenny: Yeah, we’ll see about that. Let’s go guys... Shane: Hey... Kenny, Harry, TJ... remember what I said. -------------------- Melina and Victoria v Mickie James and Beth Phoenix Melina is back in action for the first time since she pushed Beth Phoenix over the edge, resulting in Beth laying out the champion. Mickie and Victoria start things, with the hard hitting Victoria taking charge, hitting a series of forearms to Mickie’s face before sending her off the ropes and taking her down with a clothesline. Mickie answers back with a wheelbarrow into a roll up for a 2 count, before taking Victoria down with a crossbody and tagging in Phoenix. Beth comes in and drops Victoria with a sidewalk slam, but when she sends Victoria off the ropes, Melina makes a blind tag and catches Beth from behind with a split-legged neckbreaker. The boots then follow, before Melina and Victoria use quick tags to punish Beth, with Melina hitting a roundhouse kick and Victoria slamming Beth off the mat by her hair. Melina then has Beth set up for the last call, but Phoenix counters with a back body drop and dives to the corner to tag in Mickie. Mickie comes in and flies at Melina, taking her down before turning to Victoria, ducking her with a baseball slide before almost getting the win with a roll up. Phoenix is back up, and the fight eventually descends into a four woman brawl, until Victoria and Beth both wind up on the floor. Melina and Mickie continue to go at it, until Melina nails Mickie with a spinning facebuster. This allows Melina to drag Mickie up, and this time she nails the last call... 1... 2... 3. I want to thank you all for being here right now. First of all, I gotta thank Batista and Shawn Michaels for coming to me last week and encouraging me to make that challenge. Shawn: No problem. Batista: Wait a minute... wait. There’s six guys here. There’s only five of Revolution. We’ve got one too many. Teddy: That’s alright playa. I have a plan to take care of it. What I think... Batista: Infact, Cena... what are you doing here? You’ve been bust fighting Randy Orton for months, it’s been us that’s been trying to fight back against Revolution. Cena: Easy big guy, Teddy asked me to be here. Shawn: Well somebody’s going to have to sit this one out. Now, since it was my idea... Batista: Our idea. Shawn: Our idea, me and big Dave should be in. Cena... I guess since you were invited, you’re OK. Jericho, Kennedy... you’re the tag team champions, so I guess it’s one with the other for you two. So... uh... that leaves you Deadman. You uh... you fancy sitting this one out? Undertaker flashes a menacing look at Michaels... Shawn: I guess not, no. Uh... Teddy... you’re on your own. Teddy: Relax playa. I already have an idea how to fix this. What we’ll do is have a series of matches over the next few weeks to find the five guys. Batista: What? I keep telling you, there’s no reason for Cena to be here. Cena: Hey what’s your problem Batista? Batista: You just turning up put the blue like this... Teddy: Alright, alright... chill playas. Look, the six of you got at it in a six man tag tonight, then next week we have a triple threat for the losing team, the following week the last two guys go at it. Whoever the loser is, they have to sit it out. That’s the best I can do. Jericho: Sounds good. Kennedy: What are the teams for tonight? Teddy: How about Jericho, Kennedy and Batista against Cena, Michaels and Undertaker? Batista: Fine... but I think this is ridiculous. Shawn: Dave... relax. I’m sure you’ll make it. Now remember guys, let’s not go out there and try kill each other. Cena: Maybe... Teddy: Hey! Michaels is right. Now... go get ready playas... --------------------- Snitsky v Chris Harris Harris looks to build on his win last week over Primo Colon with another victory against the deranged Snitsky. The match starts with Snitsky going on the attack, but he misses with several clotheslines, allowing Harris to come off the ropes with a flying forearm and then following up with a legdrop. Harris gets a 2 count, and he then goes to the top rope... but Snitsky catches him... and drives him to the corner before nailing a series of right hands and elbows. Harris then goes crashing into the turnbuckle after a hard Irish whip, and when he staggers out, Snitsky nails him with a big boot for a 2 count. Snitsky continues to attack, hitting a reverse DDT before going for a pumphandle slam... but Harris counters into a bulldog. Harris now tries to mount some offense, taking Snitsky down with a chop block and hitting a low angle dropkick. Harris gets a 2 count, and Snitsky is quickly back up... and again he nails Harris with a big boot. Snitsky sends Harris into the corner, but when he charges in for another boot to the head, Harris ducks and Snitsky gets hung up on the top rope... and Harris quickly goes for a roll up... 1... 2... 3! Triple H: Who the hell do you think you are to come in here demanding anything? You know, I am sick and tired of you punks trying to give me crap tonight. You want a match Cody? You got it... against me. Cody: What? As the bell rings, the Game goes straight on the attack, hitting a series of stiff right hands to the face. The Game backs Cody into the corner before sending him across, but Cody reverses... and he follows up with a clothesline in the corner. Now it’s Cody who tees off with rights and lefts, but the Game quickly ends the rally with a knee to the gut and a clothesline. Triple H now proceeds to dominate, pummelling Cody before sending him off the ropes and hitting the high knee lift. Triple H goes to drag Cody back up, but Cody surprises him with a roll up... 1... 2... Triple H kicks out, but Cody quickens the pace, ducking a right hand and hitting a Russian legsweep. Cody then gets back to his feet, waits for the Game... DDT! Cody hits the DDT! Will the upset happen? 1... 2... Triple H barely gets the shoulder up. Cody can’t believe it, but now he climbs to the top rope... moonsault connects! Again Cody goes for the cover... 1... 2... Triple H gets his foot on the rope! Again Cody can’t believe it, but the crowd really gets behind him, believing the upset can happen. Cody hits more right hands, but when he sends the Game off the ropes, he ducks his head... and Triple H hits the facebreaker knee smash. Triple H then goes for the pedigree... but again Cody has a roll up... 1... 2... Triple H kicks out, quickly gets back to his feet... spinning spinebuster! Triple H is quickly back on his feet, and this time he doesn’t miss... pedigree! 1... 2... 3. Triple H beat Cody Rhodes (A) JR: Well, that was an unbelievable effort from Cody Rhodes. King: He took the Game to the limit and almost had him beat, but ultimately Triple H was just too strong. JR: Well... wait, a second. What’s this? Triple H... oh c’mon now... no... King: Pedigree! JR: Another pedigree from Triple H! What the hell is the meaning of this? You won the match you jackass, there’s no need for this. King: You better be careful before he comes over here and starts with you. JR: Yeah well... Triple H is just beating the hell out of Cody Rhodes just now. King: Oh my God, Cody is busted wide open. JR: Well finally we’ve got some officials out here to stop this. This is just disgusting. There was absolutely no need for that beating after the bell. King: And... I think they’re calling for a stretcher for Cody, he’s in a bad way right now. Jeff Hardy can’t beat me. Jeff Hardy, is not a credible champion. Jeff Hardy couldn’t... JR: Oh! It’s Jeff! Jeff Hardy has just gat crashed Randy Orton’s interview! King: And look at these two go at it! Their tearing the backstage area apart. JR: Oh! Orton just got driven into the wall. And now... well the officials who were out there to help Cody have finally got back there to break this fight up. King: What on earth is going on here tonight? I mean all hell is breaking loose! ---------------------- Mr Kennedy, Chris Jericho and Batista v John Cena, Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker The first three spots in Teddy Long’s Survivor Series team are on the line here in this six man tag match. Jericho and Michaels start things, and the two quickly work their way into a series of chain wrestling, with both men countering out of holds and roll ups, until Jericho hits an enziguri and tags in Kennedy. Kennedy looks to stay on the attack, but when he goes for a suplex, Michaels counters into an atomic drop before tagging in Undertaker. Taker comes in and targets Kennedy’s shoulder, wrenching away before nailing old school. The force of old school though sends Kennedy across the ring, were he manages to tag in Batista, which immediately evokes memories of the epic Taker and Batista feud from last year. Taker and Batista trade hard right hands, until the Deadman connects with three in a row and comes off the ropes... ducks a clothesline... flying clothesline! Taker then tags in Cena, and with the Deadman holding Batista in place, Cena hits the diving legdrop from the second rope. Cena then hits rights and lefts, before going for a hiptoss, which Batista counters into a spinebuster. The tag team champions then swap tags as they work on Cena, but when Jericho goes for the lionsault, Cena avoids the contact and manages to tag in Michaels. This leads to Kennedy, Batista entering the ring, with all six men going at it. This then sees a sequence of finishers hits, as Kennedy walks into a chokeslam, only for Jericho to nails Taker with the codebreaker. Jericho gets back up, but Michaels is waiting... sweet chin music... Batista-bomb to Michaels! It looks like Batista is about to grab the win for his team, but Cena comes up from behind... FU! Cena hits the FU and quickly goes for the cover... 1... 2... 3! The first three spots on Teddy Long’s team go to Cena, Michaels and The Undertaker. I mean, yeah teach the kid a lesson but... Triple H: But what?! Huh? Let me tell you something Shane, that’s the kind of attitude we need. That’s the kind of aggression that we to show if we’re going to survive! Shane: Yeah but I mean, they just took Cody out on stretcher and... Triple H: Good. Listen to me, we need to make a stand here. We need to let those idiots in Teddy’s team know we’re going to fight to the death to stay in control. Shane: So, what’s your plan? Triple H: They want to challenge us? They want to pick a fight with us, they want to start a war? We’ll give them a war. Next week... we start the war! ---------------------- WWE Championship Match Jeff Hardy (C) v Kenny Dykstra Dykstra enters this match determined to prove his worth to Shane and Triple H, but also with the knowledge that a win tonight will see him become the youngest WWE Champion as well as the youngest Intercontinental Champion. From the first tie up, Dykstra drives Jeff to the corner, and when the referee calls for the break, Kenny hits the champ with a cheap shot. An Irish whip sends Jeff across, but as Kenny charges in, Hardy leapfrogs him and hits a leg-feed mule kick. Dykstra crashes to the corner, and with his head on the bottom turnbuckle, Jeff charges in... corner dropkick! Dykstra rolls to the floor, but Hardy stays on the attack, coming over the top rope with a plancha. Jeff rolls Kenny back into the ring and gets a 2 count, before a series of kicks send Kenny to the corner. Hardy then looks to sends him across, but Dykstra reverses... but Jeff is quickly to the top rope... whisper in the wind... no! Dykstra pushes Jeff off the top rope, sending him crashing into the barricade, leaving the champion down hurt on the floor. Not wanting to see a countout, Dykstra brings Jeff back into the ring, stomping away and then locking on a chinlock. Hardy begins to wear down, but he manages to fight back to his feet, breaking the hold with a jawbreaker before coming off the ropes with a flying clothesline. The intensity of the match picks up, with Jeff hitting hard right hands before hitting a kick to the gut... twist of fate... no! Dykstra blocks it, sending Jeff off the ropes... Jeff ducks the clothesline... twist of fate! This time Jeff connects, and he goes to the top rope... JR: Here it comes... King: Swanton bomb! JR: Jeff Hardy connects, hooks the leg... what the hell? King: Randy Orton? JR: What’s he doing out here? King: Well right now he’s distracting the referee! JR: Here comes Jeff... suicide dive to Orton! And now Jeff nailing Orton with right hands! King: Yeah but he better get back into the ring... JR: Dykstra’s back up... scoops Jeff up... Jeff counters... twist of fate! King: Another twist of fate! JR: And one more time, Jeff goes to the top rope... swanton bomb! A second swanton, here’s the cover... 1... 2... 3! Jeff Hardy beat Kenny Dykstra to retain the WWE Championship (A) JR: Yes! Once again, Jeff Hardy has retained the title! King: And not only that, he managed to send a message to Randy Orton too! JR: Orton is still down on the floor, and Jeff is standing tall in the ring! King: Yeah but I’m sure the legend killer is only going to be back for more next week. JR: Well, our thanks to everybody in the UK.
Ooo, Team Long vs. Revolution, can't wait. :) And nice seeing Kenny get a title shot, going to give him a big push in my diary and hope to see you give him a Main Event push soon as well.
I can't wait either, hence the reason I'm trying to fire out a show a day just now. Survivor Series is set to be full of surprises me thinks. ;) As for Kenny, his time will come. Right now I love him in the role of the talented youngster in Revolution, but he will make his mark one day. Thanks for the comment buddy!

I'm loving your Raw's, it really is your A show. Although to be honest, it's all about Revolution- not that that's a bad thing.. These guys just own the show and everything seems to relate to them but they're so entertaining they can carry it off. The Bulldogs & Kenny will benefit from so much from being invovled in such interesting feuds with talented workers. And do I smell a Batista turn? He was being a complete prick to Cena and if Kennedy and Jericho make it to the Survivor Series team (like I imagine they will) I think that could be enough to make The Animal snap. Lets face it, he's hardly been animalistic for years, has he?! :p
God a show a day, whatta beast.
Meh, it's always raining outside and I have the flu right now so there's not much else to do. Plus like I said, I actually can't wait for SS to come around.
I'm loving your Raw's, it really is your A show. I also reckon it was the same when Evolution was around too. But then, I guess it's part of the fun seeing the faces trying to overthrow them. Plus, I always make sure the championship main events. Nothing should be bigger than the title in my eyes. As for Batista... maybe. The choosing of Teddy's team won't be quite as straight forward as it seems. There's still a few twists left in the selection process. ;) Again guys, thanks for the comments, awesome to read.

Styles: The land of extreme has made its way across the pond to Manchester, England, but there’s no jetlag to be found as we present ECW on Sci-Fi! Hello everyone, I’m Joey Styles, alongside former ECW Champion Tazz, and Tazz, once again last Friday night on Smackdown a challenge was sent our way. Tazz: Well JBL, after seeing his guy Edge lose at Cyber Sunday, is now challenging us to a match at Survivor Series. JBL, you want a fight, we’ll give you a fight pal! Styles: Perhaps we could have a colour commentators match sometime, you against the Coach? Tazz: Don’t put ideas in my head Joey. You know I’d rip Coach’s head off. Styles: Indeed you would... and speaking of JBL, here comes the Smackdown general manager right now. Tazz: Look at this idiot, driving his limo into the arena like this. I remember when Tommy Dreamer DDT’d him on the roof of that limo, that was a great moment. Styles: I doubt JBL will ever forget that moment either... JBL: Last Friday night, I once again laid down a challenge to ECW and Mick Foley. I challenged ECW to a 5 on 5, traditional Survivor Series match. Foley... I know you’re back there... I am standing here in your ring, and I await your answer. Styles: Well... the sounds of cars crashing of course mean it’s our general manager Mick Foley. What do you think he’s going to say Tazz? Tazz: He’ll say yes. This is ECW. We don’t back away from a fight. Foley: JBL, why am I getting the sense of déjà vu right now? Why do I feel we’ve been here before? You standing in the ECW ring, making challenges to me? Oh wait... that’s right, you did this last month didn’t you? Yeah... and look how that turned out. ECW won. We beat you at Cyber Sunday. And now... now you challenge us again. Survivor Series, 5 on 5. You want to settle this at Survivor Series? Alright... on behalf of ECW... I accept your challenge! Tazz: Oh man... I told you Mick Foley would say yes! Styles: Well there you have it, ECW against Smackdown, 5 on 5 at Survivor Series. Tazz: I can’t wait, we’re kick their asses all over again! JBL: Alright... I’m glad you accept Mick. But this time... it’s going to be a different story. I will pull out all the stops, I do whatever it takes to make sure Smackdown wins. Foley: Really? Cause, from what I’ve seen, your brand looks like it’s in disarray right now. I mean, you’re being held to ransom for title shots, you’ve suspended Edge... you guys are in pretty bad shape right now. JBL: We’re in bad shape? You’ve got a champion with a broken neck, a midget who only holds onto his title thanks to his bodyguard, a guy in a psychiatric hospital and a Barry Manilow wannabe with an undefeated streak. Now you tell me which brand is in the worse shape right now! Foley: Hey! I’ll have you know, that I’m proud of our Cruiserweight Champion, regardless of how he holds onto his title. Infact, I’m going to give him a shot at the ECW Championship tonight, cause even know The Brian Kendrick is a self centred jackass, he’s our jackass and we love him for it! Styles: Wow! Angle and Kendrick tonight for the ECW Championship! Tazz: Well, I’m not a fan of Brian Kendrick’s either, but that’s going to be a great match to see. Foley: As for holding onto titles, what about your tag team champions Hawkins and Ryder, two guys whose sole purpose in this company is to make sure Edge never loses, and they couldn’t even do that at Cyber Sunday! Well I tell you what JBL, how about this Friday night, I send a couple of ECW guys into Smackdown, and you let them challenge for your tag team titles! JBL: You think I’m going to let two of your guys onto my show, to challenge for my tag team titles? Foley: what’s the matter JBL? You scared? You worried that little ol’ ECW could come in and take away your titles? JBL: Nobody calls me scared, you understand me? You want a shot at the tag team titles? Alright... this Friday night, you send two guys to my ring and we’ll see what your brand has to offer. Foley: Alright, we will. We’ll see you this Friday night, then we’ll see you at the Survivor Series. And JBL, I promise, that on both those occasions... you won’t be having a nice day! Styles: Wow. I mean... this Friday night we’re sending a team to Smackdown to challenge for their tag team titles! Tazz: Who’s it gonna be? Who do you think Foley’s going to pick? Styles: I haven’t a clue. I mean, the list is endless... --------------------- Tommy Dreamer v Mike Knox The ever dangerous Mike Knox is in action tonight, taking on ECW original Tommy Dreamer. Straight from the bell, Knox overpowers Tommy, throwing him into the corner and hitting a series of elbows to the side of the head. A hard Irish whip sees Tommy slump to the mat in the opposite corner, and Knox follows this up by choking Dreamer with the boot. Knox then scoop slams Dreamer, but when he goes for a big legdrop, Tommy rolls out of the way. Dreamer now attacks, hitting right hands and taking Knox down with a neckbreaker. Dreamer then drops the elbow for a 2 count, but when he goes for the DDT, Knox counters into a back body drop. Dreamer staggers back to his feet, but Knox is waiting for him... bicycle kick! Knox nails Tommy and goes for the cover... 1... 2... Dreamer gets the shoulder up. Knox then looks to turn on the power, hitting hard right hands and hitting a big powerslam... 1... 2... again Dreamer kicks out! Knox is incensed, but he drags Dreamer back up and looks to end it... Knox out... no! Dreamer counters... DDT! Dreamer nails Knox and hooks the leg... 1... 2... 3! Tommy Dreamer beat Mike Knox (C) -------------------- Backstage, Anastacia Rose is standing by... Rose: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time, he is the ECW Champion... Kurt Angle! And Kurt, earlier tonight we found out you will defend the ECW Championship tonight against the Cruiserweight Champion Brian Kendrick. Now if you get past Kendrick, you’ll then go on to Survivor Series to face Shelton Benjamin, the man last week you said you didn’t really want to face. Kurt, what are your thoughts on those two possible matches? Angle: Well... Brian Kendrick’s a hell of a wrestler. He’s been Cruiserweight Champion for over 6 months now. And he’s got that D-Rod guy with him. It’s going to be a tough match. As for Survivor Series, yes I did say I’d rather face Umaga... but like I also said, I taught Shelton Benjamin a lot back in the day, and I know a lot about Shelton. I know his moves, and I know how to hurt him in the ring. I will defend my title tonight... and I will defend my title at Survivor Series. It’s true... it’s damn true! ----------------------- Styles: Well folks, just before our next match, we have another update on the condition of Kane. Tazz: Kane was committed to a psychiatric ward about a month ago now, after suffering some pretty serious injuries at the hands of Umaga. Styles: Kane went into some kind of trance, and he just wouldn’t snap out of it. Now, last week we told you that doctors believed Kane was making progress, but he still hadn’t spoken to anyone for a number of weeks. Tazz: Well just yesterday, WWE officials made their weekly phone call to the hospital to check on the condition of Kane. The report they received was that everything was pretty much the same as last week. Styles: That is until last night. In the very early hours of the morning here in the UK, WWE officials were contacted by medical staff from the hospital with the news that Kane has snapped, assaulting doctors and nurses and breaking free of the hospital. Tazz: Obviously, everybody here in the WWE is in the UK until the end of the week, so it’s hard for us to try and find Kane right now. Styles: Ladies and gentlemen, Kane is on the loose, and we haven’t got a clue what his state of mind is right now. Every week we wish Kane well and hope for his return to the ring... but Kane is still a sick man, and he needs medical help. Tazz: Hopefully by the time we’ve returned from the UK, Kane ill have handed himself in to the authorities, and he get the help he needs. --------------------- Balls Mahoney v Elijah Burke Elijah Burke looks to continue his recent winning streak against ECW original Balls Mahoney. Burke starts the match strong, hitting knees and uppercuts and driving Mahoney to the corner. Balls quickly reverses things though, throwing Burke to the corner and climbing to the second rope to go for a 10 count of right hands... until Burke drops him face first onto the top turnbuckle. Burke moves quickly, going to the opposite corner and charging in... Elijah express... no! Mahoney moves out of the way, and now he starts teeing off on Burke before sending him off the ropes... back body drop! Burke crashes to the mat, and Mahoney comes off the ropes... big splash... no! This time it’s Burke who rolls out of the way, and he begins to stomp away. Burke then drags Balls back to his feet, before sending him to the corner and then charging in... big splash! Balls slumps to the mat, and again Burke charges in... outer limitz elbow! Burke goes for the cover... 1... 2... Mahoney kicks out. The match swings back and forth as Balls counters Burke’s Elijah experience with a hiptoss, but when Balls goes for the nutcracker suite, Burke counters that into a tornado DDT. Mahoney staggers back to his feet, and this time Burke doesn’t miss... Elijah experience! 1... 2... 3. Elijah Burke beat Balls Mahoney (B-) --------------------- Backstage, the ECW general manager is joined by... Foley: Now, I know we’ve had our problems in the past, but if you two want to have a job anymore then you’ll do this for me. Estrada: I can’t believe you’re asking us to do this Foley. Foley: Look, I know we haven’t always gotten along, but ever since I became ECW general manager, I’ve been pretty fair to you and Umaga. Estrada: What? Foley: Well, when John Morrison beat Umaga to make me the GM, I could have fired you on the spot. I let Umaga challenge for the title, I was fair when he was champion and I’ve given him plenty of chances to get the title back. Now, I need you guys to do something for me. Estrada: Well, maybe you should give Umaga another title shot, just like the guys on... Foley: Don’t you dare try do to me what happened on Smackdown. I’ll tell you right now, that is not going to happen. Umaga lost to Shelton Benjamin last week, and that means no more shots at Kurt Angle. Now... I’ll make this simple. Either Umaga is on the ECW team for Survivor Series, or he’s suspended indefinitely... and so are you Estrada. Estrada: Alright Foley... Umaga will be on your team... but you’re going to regret it. Foley: You just make sure he shows up... ------------------------ John Morrison v Matt Striker The extreme teacher Matt Striker makes a rare appearance on Sci-Fi, as always accompanied by Big Daddy V, against John Morrison, making his first appearance since his loss to Kurt Angle at Cyber Sunday. Morrison starts the match fast, nailing Striker with an early enziguri. Morrison continues his attack with an elbow drop, before looking for a springboard roundhouse kick... until V shakes the ropes, causing Morrison to fall to the mat. Striker moves quickly to take advantage, hitting right hands, knees to the gut and then taking Morrison down with a reverse DDT. Striker then sends Morrison to the floor right infront of V, where the mastodon grabs Morrison and drives him into the ringpost behind the referee’s back. Back in the ring, Striker looks to take advantage by going for a neckbreaker, but Morrison counters with a neckbreaker of his own. Morrison then hits a legdrop and follows it up with the split legged moonsault for a 2 count. Striker is reeling, and as he staggers back to his feet, Morrison goes for... moonlight drive... but V starts to get up on the apron... dropkick sends him down, but Striker is back up... and Morrison ducks his clothesline... moonlight drive! This time Morrison connects, and there’s nobody left to save Striker... 1... 2... 3! Shelton Benjamin! And Shelton, with Kurt Angle and Brian Kendrick about to go at it for the title, you will face the winner of that match at Survivor Series. Who would you rather face in two weeks time? Benjamin: You know what? I really hope Kurt Angle wins tonight. I mean, me and Kurt, we go way back. I know once both hit the ring it’ll be all business, but I’ll go... But the thing is, I am about to make history tonight. I am about to become the first ever Extreme Cruiserweight Champion... and yet toots here is interviewing you! What’s the deal girl? Don’t I, The... I’ll say it again... The Brian Kendrick deserve an interview? Benjamin: You know what you deserve? You deserve Kurt Angle handing you your ass tonight! As the bell rings, Kendrick bounces around the ring in his usual arrogant matter... until Angle catches him and nails him with a huge release German suplex. Angle then hits a series of uppercuts, before sending Kendrick off the ropes... overhead belly-to-belly! Kendrick flies across the ring and crashes to the mat, before wisely rolling to the floor to regroup with Rodimer. Eventually Kendrick returns to the ring, but Angle continues his attack, looking for another release German suplex... but Kendrick lands on his feet... and he takes Angle down with a hurricanarana. Now Kendrick mounts some offense, stomping away and then sending Angle off the ropes... reversal... flying forearm from Kendrick. Kendrick then locks on a chinlock, all the while nailing Angle with hard shots to the face. Kendrick then looks to go for a tornado DDT, but Angle reverses it into a back suplex. Both men struggle back to their feet, and a slug fest ensues, with both hitting hard right hands. Angle eventually manages to hit two or three in a row, before sending Kendrick to the corner and hitting a belly-to-belly suplex. Angle then climbs to the top rope, steadies himself... moonsault! Angle connects, hooks the leg... 1... 2... Rodimer puts Kendrick’s foot on the rope! Angle looks to get in Rodimer’s face, but that only gives Kendrick a chance to attack from behind, hitting a hard forearm to the back of Kurt’s head. Kendrick then hits a few kicks, before running Angle to the corner... the Kendrick... no! Angle counters the sliced bread into... Angle slam! Angle slam in the middle of the ring, and this time Rodimer can’t get involved... 1... 2... 3! Another good show. I like Kendrick getting the shot and holding his own against the champion, but Angle is such a good bet for being champion. You can put anyone in the ring with him and it is interesting, so I hope he hangs on to the title for a while. Couple of issues though for constructive criticism, I hope you don't mind- JBL seems like an idiot! For a guy who is very successful in business he is coming across as a terrible businessman, he's so easily amnipulated whereas I thought he'd be the manipulator in a Ted DiBiase kind of way. Also, I'm not sure on this Kane thing. I get that you want to turn him in to an evil monster again, possibly with the mask, and everything was fine with me in terms of his injuries, psychological damage etc but him escaping from the institution seems a bit, I don't know, far fetched? However, you have done really well with everything esle so far so I won't judge it yet because I reckon you will probably go ahead and turn it around. I hope you don't mind the honest feedback. :o But all in all another good show and I'm really looking forward to Survivor Series.

JBL - I'm trying to get across the idea that he's desperate for victory. He took Smackdown into battle on a personal vendetta. There is something coming up in the mext Smackdown that I think will restore his business credibility, but at the same time I'll try get across his desperation a bit more. Kane - Of course it's far fetched! :p It's like every other Kane storyline! I mean, it was inspired by the time Kane eliminated himself from the Royal RUmble as he was being chased by psychiatric hospital workers (don't know if you remember that or not?), and while I won't be going quite that far, I just thought it would add a little bit of humour. But, hopefully by the time Kane comes back and such looking back it'll make a bit of sense. But yeah thanks for the criticism, will take it on board.

I do like the idea of him being institutionalised and I really don't have an issue with those far fetched storylines (as you will see in my diary from time to time) there's just something extreme about an escaped mental patient on your roster! But like I say, I'm sure you have a plan. As for JBL, I was just sort of mentioning that he looks a bit naive at the moment but I really think you will have a plan with this and make it work. I know you aren't the sort of writer who just does things willy nilly, you have a plan and it all leads on to each other. Also I'm glad you didn't take the criticism badly. I like constructive criticism in my diary (or any feedback at all!) because it helps me see what people really think so I can move bits about that people will like, so I tend to be constructive with other people. It doesn't mean I don't still think this is one of the very best diaries on here and that this is one of the few diaries I look out for. :)

Hello everyone, I’m Michael Cole alongside Jonathan Coachman, and Coach, three championships and hopefully an answer to the events that took place as we went off the air last week. Coach: Well last week in a World Heavyweight Championship match, the former champion MVP saved the title for the man who robbed him at Cyber Sunday, CM Punk, when it looked like Bobby Lashley was about to score the win. I couldn’t understand it then, and I still don’t know. Cole: Well as we said, we hope to get some answers, we’ll also continue to look towards the big 5 on 5 match at Survivor Series against ECW... 1, 2, YOU HEAR THE CLOCK TICKIN’... Cole: But right now, here comes the man in question, here comes MVP. Coach: I... I still can’t believe what happened last week. Cole: Well hopefully MVP will give us the answers right now... MVP: All week long, people been asking me the same question. “Why’d you do it MVP? Why’d you save the title for CM Punk?” Well I got news for everybody... I didn’t save the title for CM Punk... I saved the title for me. You see, I don’t want to beat Bobby Lashley to get my title back. I want to beat CM Punk for my title. That’s why I cost Lashley the title last week. I want Punk at Survivor Series! And I know that CM Punk has another title match against Rey Mysterio tonight. Well... I think I might need to keep an eye on that match too. Cole: Well, I guess we got our answer from MVP. He doesn’t want Lashley, he doesn’t want Mysterio... he wants CM Punk. Coach: I gotta say, it’s brilliant strategy from MVP. He’s going to get involved in every match that title is defended in just to make sure he gets his hands on CM Punk at Survivor Series. Cole: So what does this mean for the title match tonight? ------------------ Funaki v Ted DiBiase A rare appearance from Smackdown’s number one announcer, as Funaki takes on the impressive newcomer Ted DiBiase. DiBiase starts this match in impressive fashion, taking Funaki down with a waistlock before nailing him with hard forearms to the head. DiBiase then looks to drop a fist across Funaki’s head, but Funaki rolls out of the way, before building some offense of his own, hitting chops to the chest and coming off the ropes with a crossbody. Funaki then goes for a bulldog, but DiBiase manages to block by pushing Funaki into the corner. Hard right hands follow, before DiBiase takes Funaki up for a long vertical suplex. DiBiase gets a 2 count, but it doesn’t look like Funaki has much left, and pretty soon DiBiase goes for... the million dollar dream... but Funaki counters with a jawbreaker and a clothesline. The crowd rallies behind Funaki, as he hits right hands and nails a tornado DDT for a 2 count. DiBiase is reeling, and when he staggers back to his feet, Funaki is waiting to hit... the crane kick... but DiBiase avoids it with a baseball slide, and when he quickly gets back to his feet, Funaki has no escape... million dollar dream. This time DiBiase has it locked on tight, and as he wrenches away, Funaki eventually begins to fade. His hand goes up and down three times, leading to the referee calling for the bell and another submission win for Ted DiBiase. You know I’m the Wall Street warrior, I can make anything happen... no! Do not sign anything yet... listen, I’ll have to call you back, something big just came up. This better be important Lashley, I am involved in some major negotiations right now. Lashley: I want a rematch with CM Punk! MVP robbed me last week. I had Punk beat, I was going to be the champion! JBL: Listen Lashley... I already played ball with you last week. I met your demands, I gave you your title shot. Now, I suggest you start thinking about Survivor Series, as you are going to be on my team, and I can’t have any weak links in my team. Lashley: Well maybe I don’t want to be on your damn team anymore! JBL: Dammit boy! You think I’m an idiot? You think I’m naive?! I am JBL, I am the Wall Street warrior, I’m a millionaire and most importantly I am the general manager of Smackdown! Now you listen to me, I played ball with you, and now you are going to do the same for me! When are you going to realise Lashley that this is my show, and you will do what I tell you to do. And when are you also going to realise, that doing things my way... is always the easiest way of doing things around here? Lashley: What do you mean by that? JBL: Lashley... are you willing to open your ears and take some advice for a man who’s been there before and done it all? Lashley: Alright... JBL: Good. Very good... now, grab a seat, I’ll finish my phone conversation... and you and me will talk business. ---------------------- Cole: Welcome back ladies and gentlemen. As you can see, Jimmy Wang Yang and Shannon Moore are in the ring, they’re set to go in tag team action against... Coach: Against England’s own, Paul Burchill and... Cole: Wait a minute, that’s... that’s Paul Burchill and William Regal, but who... Coach: Who’s the guy and the girl with them? Coach: Who? Cole: Drew McIntyre, a young man from Scotland who was on Smackdown last summer. As for the girl... Coach: So what are they doing here in Manchester with Regal and Burchill? Cole: Well I... I don’t know. Jimmy Wang Yang and Shannon Moore v Paul Burchill and Drew McIntyre The surprise of seeing Burchill and McIntyre together has Jimmy and Shannon off guard, and when the bell rings, Burchill starts the match by dominating Jimmy, tossing him from pillar to post, unloading in the corner with elbows and right hands before nailing Jimmy with a sidewalk slam. McIntyre now gets the tag, and he sends Jimmy off the ropes before hitting a great dropkick. Burchill and McIntyre show great team work for two guys teaming for the first time, making plenty of quick tags to focus in on Jimmy, with Regal hitting the occasional cheap shot as well. McIntyre is in the ring, but when he goes for a suplex, Jimmy counters, landing on his feet and hitting a dropkick before finally tagging in Moore. Shannon comes into the ring from the top rope, hitting a headscissors off the top and following it up with an enziguri. This brings Burchill into the ring, but he misses Moore with a clothesline, and Moore hits a spinning heel kick. Jimmy is now back up, and all four men start going at it, but when Jimmy goes off the ropes, Regal grabs him by the foot, allowing McIntyre to send him over the top with a clothesline. Moore is now left alone in the ring, and the numbers game pays off as Burchill gets him up on his shoulder for the torture rack. Moore tries to hang on, and Jimmy tries to make the save, but McIntyre and Regal keep him away, and the referee has no choice but to call for the bell. Paul Burchill and Drew McIntyre beat Jimmy Wang Yang and Shannon Moore (C+) Cole: Well, a dominant performance from Burchill and McIntyre. Maybe a little bit of help from William Regal, but still very impressive. Coach: Ever since William Regal became Paul Burchill’s manager, Burchill’s career has sky rocketed, and it looks like it could happen again with this tag team Cole: William Regal now grabbing a microphone... Coach: He wants to address his people. The UK love these guys! Regal: Great people of Britain... I have long served you people as your wrestling ambassador in America. I have acted with dignity and class, actions befitting of our glorious Queen. I have always carried myself in a manner that represented my country well. And now... now I have put together a tag team capable of doing likewise. England’s own Paul Burchill... Scotland’s Drew McIntyre... a delicate rose in Katie Lea... a team worthy or representing the entire United Kingdom. Ladies and gentlemen... I present to you... the Empire! Coach: I love it! Cole: The Empire? Coach: William Regal has once again raised the bar here on Smackdown. ------------------------ Backstage, Josh Matthews is standing by... Josh: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time, he is the World Heavyweight Champion... CM Punk! And CM Punk, earlier tonight we heard MVP’s explanation for his actions last week. MVP said he cost Bobby Lashley the title last week as he wants you at Survivor Series. CM Punk, what are your thoughts on this situation? Punk: I think MVP should mind his damn business! I don’t want him thinking I need him to save me or my title. I don’t want MVP to have any kind of advantage over me. Tonight, when I defend my title against Rey Mysterio, I don’t want to see him anywhere near that ring. MVP... you get involved in my business again... then me and you are going to be seeing each other a little sooner than you might like. --------------------- Andy Douglas v Matt Sydal Cruiserweight action next, as the high flying Sydal takes on Andy Douglas, usually a member of the tag team division with Chase Stevens. Stevens is at ringside for this match, and it’s a distraction from him that gives Douglas the early advantage, as he catches Sydal with a series of right hands. Douglas drives Sydal to the corner, but when he sends Sydal across, Sydal quickly jumps to the second rope and hits a springboard roundhouse kick. Both men are back up quickly, until Sydal hits a headscissors and then a hurricanrana for a 2 count. Sydal looks to quicken the pace, but again Stevens gets involved, tripping Sydal up, allowing Douglas to nail him with a high knee. Douglas now stomps away, before sending Sydal off the ropes and hitting a dropkick. Douglas then hits a series of right hands, but when he sends Sydal to the corner, ne runs into a boot... and then Sydal climbs to the top rope... double knee drop! Another hurricanrana takes Douglas down again, but Stevens is on the apron distracting the referee... springboard dropkick sends Stevens flying! Douglas is back up... but Sydal ducks his clothesline... enziguri drops Douglas, and now Sydal climbs to the top rope... shooting star press! Sydal connects, hooks the leg... 1... 2... 3! Matt Sydal beat Andy Douglas (C+) --------------------- Backstage, Eve Torres is standing by... Eve: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time, he is the general manager of Smackdown... John Bradshaw Layfield. JBL, you requested this interview time for a big announcement you have to make. JBL: Thank you Eve. Earlier tonight, I was involved in some rather serious negotiations. Since Tuesday night when my challenge to ECW was accepted, I have been trying to acquire some more firepower for my team at Survivor Series. Moments ago, I finally concluded my negotiations, and I am pleased to announce that Smackdown has made a huge signing ahead of Survivor Series. Now, due to paperwork and such, I am not at liberty to announce the name of my new signing just yet... but Mick Foley... I want to you to know that I am pulling out all the stops to ensure Smackdown wins the battle of the brands. Thank you. --------------------- Cole: Well JBL there announcing a huge signing for Smackdown. Uh... we don’t have any idea who it could be. Coach: It’s gotta be somebody big. JBL is pulling out all the stops to make sure Smackdown is victorious at Survivor Series against ECW. Cole: Speaking of ECW, out first title match of the night is next, as Hawkins and Ryder defend the WWE Tag Team Title against a team from ECW of Mick Foley’s choosing. Coach: If Hawkins and Ryder screw this up, then there is going ot be hell to pay. Cole: Well of course, their boss Edge, the man who won the titles for them, the man who has saved the titles for them on numerous occasions, he’s suspended right now. Edge is not here tonight. Coach: Well... we’ll worry about Edge later. So c’mon, who is it? Who’s Mick Foley chosen? Dreamer gets the tag, and he continues the attack, hitting a falling neckbreaker and getting a 2 count. Dreamer then sends Hawkins off the ropes, but Ryder makes a blind tag, and when Dreamer nails Hawkins with a clothesline, Ryder comes up from behind and hits a Russian legsweep. Hawkins and Ryder then focus on Dreamer, sending him shoulder first into the ringpost, taking him down with clotheslines and then targeting the arm with a single arm DDT from Ryder. Hawkins then nails Dreamer with a dropkick, and he crouches in the corner, waiting for Dreamer to get back to his feet... Hawkins goes for the spear... but Dreamer counters with a back body drop before tagging in Morrison. Morrison comes in a quickly takes Hawkins down with a neckbreaker, before then sending Ryder over the top rope. Hawkins is back up, but he goes down again from a spinning wheel kick, before Morrison hits... the split legged moonsault! Morrison goes for the cover... 1... 2...Ryder makes the save. Dreamer is now in, and the match quickly becomes a four man brawl. Ryder catches Tommy with a kick to his hurt shoulder, before a double clothesline sends Dreamer out of the ring. Morrison is now outnumbered, and while Ryder pummels him in the corner, Hawkins lines him up... Irish whip from Ryder... here comes Hawkins... but Morrison reverses... spear to Ryder! Hawkins can’t believe it, and Morrison moves quickly... moonlight drive to Hawkins! Morrison hooks the leg... 1... 2... 3! Now though, Show will get his shot, as Matt Hardy agreed to put the title on the line against him. Straight from the bell, Hardy tries to hit and run, catching Show with right hands to the gut and then ducking a clothesline, hitting more right hands and again ducking a clotheslines. Hardy hits more right hands and then comes off the ropes, but this time he runs into a big boot. Now Show goes to work, chopping away on Hardy’s chest, rocking him with headbutts and then dropping him with a sidewalk slam for a 2 count. Show then stomps down on Hardy, before sending him off the ropes and catching him in a bearhug. Show wrenches away on Hardy, with the champion crying out in agony. Hardy eventually manages to break the hold by biting Show on the forehead, before hitting right hands and coming off the ropes with a forearm... but it only staggers the big guy. Hardy hits a clothesline... but again Show stays on his feet. Hardy comes off the ropes for a third time... flying forearm takes Show down! Hardy quickly goes to the second rope... legdrop! 1... 2... Show powers out. Hardy again swings right hands, before again coming off the ropes... but this time Show has him by the throat... chokeslam... no! Hardy fights out of it... twist of fate... no! Big Show pushes Hardy off the ropes... Hardy slides under the big boot... kick... twist of fate! Hardy connects, hooks the leg... 1... 2... 3! The match starts at a slow pace, as both men show each other respect and try feel each other out. Punk targets Mysterio’s legs, while Mysterio goes to work on Punk’s arm. Eventually Mysterio gets a measure of control, taking Punk down with a headscissors and locking on an armbar. Punk fights back to his feet, before eventually locking on a single leg Boston crab. Mysterio manages to twist his way out of it, before both men trade rights and lefts, until Punk catches Rey in a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. The champion now takes control, sending Mysterio to the corner and following in with a knee to the face... and then a bulldog. Punk then hoists Mysterio onto his shoulders... GTS... but Mysterio fights it... hurricanrana... 1... 2... Punk kicks out. Now Mysterio looks to build some offense, hitting the wheelbarrow bulldog and then jumping to the top rope... springboard crossbody! 1... 2... again Punk kicks out. Punk staggers back to his feet, but Mysterio is waiting... dropkick... and now Punk is hung up on the second rope, here comes Rey... 619... no! Punk ducks to the floor, but Mysterio stays on the attack... plancha... into... west coast pop on the floor! Mysterio manages to roll Punk back into the ring, and Mysterio waits on the apron... jumps to the top rope... droppin’ da dime... no! Punk catches him on his shoulders... GTS... no! When Punk pushes Rey up, Mysterio counters with an armdrag... and once again, the champion is hung up on the second rope... Cole: Here comes Mysterio... MVP: You better kick out Punk! Cole: 619! Mysterio connects with... Coach: What the hell is he doing here?!
Hehe, point taken! Loved the Lashley thing, would be nice to see him with a bit of an edge. I was never a fan of his, he always seemed a bit bland and nothingy, besdies being a decent performer and obviously having the look. But a bit of a crazed edge could work for him. And it's nice to see JBL throw his weight around, I knew you would prove me wrong! All in all some pretty cool stuff there. Looking forward to Punk getting the big clean win though, I just know you're building up to it.
