Hehe, point taken! Loved the Lashley thing, would be nice to see him with a bit of an edge. I was never a fan of his, he always seemed a bit bland and nothingy, besdies being a decent performer and obviously having the look. But a bit of a crazed edge could work for him. And it's nice to see JBL throw his weight around, I knew you would prove me wrong! All in all some pretty cool stuff there. Looking forward to Punk getting the big clean win though, I just know you're building up to it.
Sorry, I couldn't resist! :p
I'm with keefy, didn't see the Lashley thing coming and thought it was a good way to go with him, being an unstoppable monster. He looks and wrestles like he's built for the role.
Yeah he looks more like a monster doesn't he? I've seen videos of him from his OVW days when he was just a silent destroyer, so I'm going for something along those lines. Thanks guys!

King: Boy you’re not kiddin’! By order of Shane McMahon, the WWE Champion Jeff Hardy is set to go one on one with The Undertaker! We don’t know why this match is happening, or what Shane McMahon is thinking, but I can’t wait to see it. JR: It promises to be quite a night. Also tonight, the elimination process to become a member of Team Long at Survivor Series continues, as Chris Jericho, Mr Kennedy and Batista face off in a triple threat match. King: Right and all three of the guys want to face Revolution at Survivor Series, but only two of them can make Teddy Long’s team. JR: We also hope to hear from the challenger for the WWE Title Randy Orton at some point, and... I’m sorry? King: What’s going on? JR: Uh... ladies and gentlemen... I’m not sure what’s going on here... King: We appear to be getting some conflicting messages here in our headsets. JR: Are we... are we having technical difficulties or...? King: What is this? JR: Wait... say that again. Uh... we’re being told we’re going to a camera out in the parking lot... I don’t know what the reason is but... We cut to a camera in the parking lot, where we see Revolution pummelling... JR: What the hell? That’s... that’s Revolution! King: Yeah but who are the beating up there? JR: It’s... it’s Shawn Michaels! What the hell is the meaning of this?! King: Well... last week Triple H said he was going to start the war... I guess they’re starting early. Shane: How you like that Shawn? Huh? You wanna stand against us? This is what happens! JR: Oh now c’mon! It’s 5 on 1 back there! King: God I... we need some help back there! JR: This is despicable! You feel pretty big beating up a man in the parking lot when it’s 5 on 1 don’t you Shane?! Triple H: You listen to me Shawn... when you finally wake up from this beating, you tell Cena, Undertaker, and those other three, this is what happens when you mess with Revolution! King: Did you hear that JR? JR: Yeah I heard it. This is too... oh! Bah gawd! Shawn Michaels was just thrown head first through a car window! King: And Shawn is busted wide open now. JR: God damn them! Somebody better get back there, we need some help for Shawn Michaels! King: The war has started JR... JR: Yeah well I hope Revolution gets their asses kicked at Survivor Series! King: Careful JR, we don’t want them out here picking fights with us... -------------------- Melina v Candice Michelle The Women’s Champion Melina takes on Candice Michelle, looking to build on her pin of Mickie James in last week’s divas tag team match. Candice looks pretty good early on, as she takes the champion down with a headscissors and following it up with a flying clothesline. Melina quickly fires back though, slamming Candice to the mat by the hair and then hitting a split legged neckbreaker. Melina then stomps away on Candice, before locking on a body scissors. Melina puts the squeeze on, but eventually Candice breaks free with a series of elbows to the face. Both women are back up, trading right hands, until Melina sends Candice off the ropes... she ducks a clothesline... and hits a crossbody... 1.... 2... Melina kicks out. Candice looks to stay on the attack, hitting a Russian legsweep and dropping the elbow for another 2 count. Just as it looks like the champion is in trouble, Melina turns it around, catching Candice with a roundhouse kick before nailing her with a spinning facebuster. Candice is really in trouble now, and Melina moves quickly to finish her off... last call! Melina connects and goes for the cover... 1... 2... 3. A dominant win for the champion. Melina beat Candice Michelle (C) -------------------- Backstage, Maria is standing by... Maria: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time, he is the WWE Champion... Jeff Hardy! And Jeff, last week as we went off the air, you seemed to have gained a measure of revenge on Randy Orton for his actions the previous week. Jeff, have you once again taken the advantage ahead of your match at Survivor Series? Jeff: You know, last week, I proved to Randy Orton just how far I’ve come over the last year. I’m not going to let these sneak attacks happen anymore. I’m going to stand my ground, and I am going to fight for everything Orton. At Survivor Series, I am going to fight with everything I’ve got to hold onto my title... and I will hold onto my title. Orton... you can’t take this away from me... my legend is only just beginning! -------------------- Lance Cade v Sheamus O’Shaunessy The ever dominant Sheamus O’Shaunessy is again in action, taking on Lance Cade, who as always has Trevor Murdoch with him for company. Cade tries to take the fight to Sheamus early, coming off the ropes and trying clotheslines and right hands, but his offense has little effect. Cade again tries to come off the ropes, but this time he runs into a big boot, sending Cade crashing off the mat. Sheamus now begins his assault, dragging Cade to the corner and pummelling him with hard forearms. A hard Irish whip sends Cade across, but when Sheamus goes for a big boot in the corner, Cade ducks, leaving Sheamus hung up on the top rope. Cade again tries to mount some offense, hitting right hands and finally getting Sheamus down after a suplex. Cade then goes to the second rope... legdrop connects... 1... 2... Sheamus powers out. Cade continues to try and attack, but eventually Sheamus overpowers him again, scooping Cade up and dropping him across the top rope. Cade eventually staggers back to his feet, and when he does, Sheamus is waiting... Celtic slam! Sheamus connects, hooks the leg... 1... 2... 3. Another dominant win for Sheamus, and after his actions last week to little Hornswoggle, Finlay is nowhere to be seen. Teddy: Uh... not good. He already left in an ambulance. Batista: We gotta hit back Teddy! We gotta take the fight to them! Kennedy: Yeah he’s right. We’ve got to make a stand here! Cena: Whoa, whoa. Hold on here. There’s five of them, four of us. Now, it’s no coincidence to me that we’ve all got matches tonight, while Revolution has the night off. Batista: What’s your point Cena? Cena: My point is that we need to try stick together here. If we start running around looking for them, they’ll just pick us off one by one. Jericho: Yeah, Cena’s right. I mean, we need to watch each other’s backs tonight. Batista: Oh Cena’s right is he? Cena: Man what is your problem? Batista: You wanna know my problem? My problem is... Teddy: Hey, hey... playas, playas... let’s all calm down here. Now, Cena is right, we need to stick together here. Now, has anybody seen The Undertaker tonight? Kennedy: No... Jericho: I haven’t seen him... Teddy: Well... he always was a loner wasn’t we? Now listen, you three have your match, Cena you have yours. Everybody try and look out for each other, you hear me? Batista: Alright. Cena: I’m cool with that. Teddy: Good... --------------------- Carlito v Hardcore Holly Carlito makes his first appearance since his loss to Shawn Michaels at Cyber Sunday, looking to get back to winning ways against Holly. As always, Carlito is accompanied by Apolo and Primo, but Holly is not fooled by Primo’s attempt to distract him, as he ducks Carlito when he charges in and starts kicking away. Carlito backs off to the corner, but Holly follows him in, hitting more boots to the guy before sending Carlito to the corner and following in with a clothesline. Carlito is then sent off the ropes, but when Holly goes for a dropkick, Carlito grabs hold off the top rope, seeing Holly crash to the mat. Carlito now attacks, driving his knee into Holly’s head, sending Holly shoulder first into the ringpost and then locking on an armbar. Holly manages to fight out of it, but Carlito is able to toss Holly through the ropes, and with the referee distracted, Apolo and Primo go to work, driving Holly into the ringpost and hitting rights and lefts before rolling him back into the ring. Holly can barely get back to his feet, and Carlito is waiting to strike with the backstabber... but Holly grabs hold off the top rope. Now Holly looks to build some offense, hitting right hands and driving Carlito to the corner. An Irish whip sends Carlito across, but Carlito tries to avoid him by leaping out of the way... but Holly catches Carlito on his shoulders, drops him across the top rope... and then hits a huge kick to the gut. Carlito turns around... right into... the Alabama slam... no! Carlito counters with a roll-up... 1... 2... Carlito grabs the ropes... 3! Randy Orton. And Randy, last week we saw Jeff Hardy get the better of you as Raw went off the air. Randy, can you... Orton: Hold on a second. Let me ask you a question Todd. Do you think just because Jeff Hardy got the better of me last week, that he’s now guaranteed victory at Survivor Series? I seem to recall way back in January, Jeff Hardy, hitting me with a swanton bomb off a scaffold tower, and everyone was saying Jeff had the advantage then. Well he didn’t take the title off of me at the Rumble, and he didn’t take the title off of me at No Way Out. Jeff, you may have won last week, but tonight, I will prove to you when I take on The Undertaker, that I will always have an advantage over you Jeff. I will always be better than you Jeff... and I’ll prove it at Survivor Series. --------------------- John Cena v Mark Henry Cena makes his way down to the ring in a determined fashion, obviously not trying to let the Revolution attack of Shawn Michaels earlier tonight affect him. Cena starts the match strong, rocking Henry with right hands and coming off the ropes with flying shoulderblocks. Henry is only staggered though, and it takes a bulldog to finally get Henry down. Cena backs Henry into the corner with right hands, but when he goes for an Irish whip, Henry reverses and follows Cena into the corner with a big splash. Henry then scoops Cena up and slams him to mat, before coming off the ropes... big splash... no! Cena rolls out of the way, and again he hits right hands before coming off the ropes... but he runs right into a powerslam. 1... 2... Cena gets the shoulder up. Henry now drags Cena back to his feet and locks him in a bearhug. Henry wrenches away on Cena, but Cena eventually manages to break free with elbows to the head, coming off the ropes for a clothesline... but it takes a flying shoulderblock to take Henry down. Cena again comes off the ropes... five knuckle shuffle! Henry staggers back to his feet, and Cena is waiting for him... FU... but Henry is just too big and he squashes Cena to the mat. Henry is back up, and he quickly scoops Cena up for... the world’s strongest slam... but Cena is fighting it... and he breaks free... and comes off the ropes with a chop block... and locks on the STFU! Cena pulls back on Henry’s neck, and with the big man unable to reach the ropes, Henry has to trap out! John Cena beat Mark Henry (B) JR: Well John Cena gets the win against Mark Henry... King: And now he’s on the lookout for Revolution. I don’t see them anywhere. JR: I still think this is a set up. Cena looking all around the entrance way as he makes his way up the ramp. King: I... I still can’t see them, but I’m sure they’ll make another appearance at some point tonight. ----------------------- Backstage, the WWE Champion is relaxing in his dressing room, watching the show on TV when he hears a knock on his door... Jeff: Yeah? Flair: Hey, it was your performance against Triple H that was awesome. Jeff: Thanks man. So... you hear about me and Orton at Survivor Series? Flair: I did hear that. I saw last week’s show on TV. Got to say man, I liked the way it ended... but I learned anything about Randy Orton, he’s going to want to strike back tonight. Jeff: Yeah I know. But I mean, I got a match with The Undertaker tonight. I can’t spend my time worrying about Orton when I’m in the ring with the Deadman. Flair: I realise that. But uh... you just going to have to try keep your head on a swivel. Jeff: Alright man. Hey... you gonna stick around for a bit? Flair: Yeah I think I will. Naturally Kennedy and Jericho, as tag team champions, look to go for Batista, but the Animal fights them off, hitting clotheslines and right hands, knocking down both men. Batista sends Kennedy off the ropes and nails him with a kick, but Jericho chops away at Batista, driving him to the corner before going for an Irish whip... reversal from Batista... but Jericho jumps to the second rope... springboard dropkick! Now Kennedy and Jericho go at it, the champions trading right hands, until Jericho sends Kennedy off the ropes... spinning wheel kick! Kennedy staggers back to his feet, and Jericho is waiting... one handed bulldog! Jericho runs the ropes... lionsault! 1... 2... Batista makes the save, and now he attacks Jericho, sending him to the corner, following in with a clothesline and driving the shoulder into the gut. Kennedy now charges in... but Batista makes him miss, making Kennedy hit Jericho, and when Kennedy staggers out of the corner, Batista charges in... spear... to Jericho! Kennedy leapfrogs out of the way, and as Batista staggers to his feet, Kennedy comes up from behind... mic check! Kennedy takes Batista down... 1... 2... Jericho barely makes the save! The fight quickly spills to the floor, with Jeff driving Taker to the barricade and the Deadman sending the champion crashing into the steel steps. Taker again pummels Hardy with right hands, but Hardy is able to fight back, driving Taker into the ringpost, before running along the apron and taking Taker down with a flying clothesline. Back in the ring, Hardy hits a double legdrop to the groin, gaining a 2 count from it. Taker battles back to his feet, again hitting big right hands and elbows, before scooping Hardy up and hitting snake eyes, following it up with a big boot. Taker then sends Hardy off the ropes, but when he goes for another boot, Hardy avoids it with a baseball slide, quickly gets back to his feet... kick... twist of fate... no! Undertaker reverses it, grabbing Hardy’s arm... hell’s gate! Taker locks in the choke hold, and it looks like Hardy might tap... but he counters into a bridging pin... 1... 2... Undertaker has to kick out and break the hold. Hardy is still suffering as both men are back up, with Taker kicking Hardy and then setting him up... last ride... no! Hardy hits right hands as he’s on Taker’s shoulders, blocking the move and landing on his feet... twist of fate! Jeff connects, and he quickly climbs to the top rope... swanton bomb... no! Undertaker rolls out of the way, and as Jeff staggers to his feet, Undertaker is waiting... JR: Tombstone! Tombstone! The Undertaker just planted Jeff Hardy with the tombstone! King: And that oughta... JR: Now what the hell are they doing out back here? JR: Well the referee is counting The Undertaker... he’s up to 8... 9... 10! The Undertaker has been counted out! Jeff Hardy beat The Undertaker by count-out (A) JR: Hardy has won the match, but he doesn’t even realise it! King: I don’t think The Undertaker does either... Hello everyone, I’m Joey Styles alongside former ECW Champion Tazz, and Tazz, what a week the ECW brand has last week in England! Tazz: It was unbelievable! We saw a hell of a main event as Kurt Angle defended the championship against The Brian Kendrick, and then Friday night on Smackdown, John Morrison and Tommy Dreamer beat Hawkins and Ryder to become the new WWE Tag Team Champions. Styles: It was a great week, speaking of Kurt Angle and The Brian Kendrick, they will face each other again tonight in Atlanta, GA, this time in tag team action, as Kendrick teams with Elijah Burke to take Kurt Angle and the man who will challenge him at Survivor Series, the Gold Standard, Shelton Benjamin. Tazz: I’m looking forward to that. How will Angle and Benjamin, soon to be opponents, co-exist as a team tonight? Styles: But tonight, we’re kicking things off with the new WWE Tag Team Champions, John Morrison and Tommy Dreamer... John Morrison and Tommy Dreamer v The Miz and Charlie Hass Miz and Morrison, former partners and tag team champions in their own right, start the match together, with memories of their break up and subsequent feud in everyone’s mind. Much like their hard hitting matches all those months ago, neither man lets up here, with Miz hitting hard kicks in the corner and Morrison answering back with a springboard roundhouse kick. Morrison then tags in Dreamer, and the veteran knocks Miz down time after time with hard right hands before sending him to the corner and following in with a clothesline. Dreamer then scoops Miz up and hangs him in the tree of woe position, but as he charges in for the dropkick, Hass pulls Miz up, seeing Dreamer crash to the mat. Hass then gets the tag, and he and Miz go to work on Dreamer, with Hass hitting stiff kicks to the back and then getting a 2 count from a bridging German suplex. Miz hits a jawbreaker and follows it up with a clothesline, but when he goes for a legdrop off the second rope, Dreamer rolls out of the way and dives to the corner to tag in Morrison. Morrison comes in, nailing both Miz and Hass, before sending Miz flying with a back body drop. Morrison follows it up with a legdrop, and then hits the split legged corkscrew moonsault for a 2 count. Hass and Dreamer are both back up, but the pair quickly battle to the floor, and as Miz staggers to his feet, Morrison is waiting... moonlight drive! 1... 2... 3! I saw what happened last time your boy Kendrick put the Cruiserweight Title on the line against Paul London. That guy Rodimer saved his ass, and that is not going to happen again. Foley: Look, JBL, I’ll admit it, I don’t like The Kendrick, but he is an ECW guy and I will not see him go into Smackdown alone. You want London to have a title shot on Smackdown? I’m fine with that, but Rodimer is going to be there too. JBL: Alright, Rodimer can be there, but London will have someone in his corner too. Foley: Alright, I’m happy with that. JBL: So it’s settled. This Friday night... Foley: Whoa, whoa... this Friday? I thought we agreed on next Friday night? JBL: Next Friday? The Friday before Survivor Series? Foley: Well yeah. I mean, Kendrick already has a match tonight. I don’t think it’s all that fair if he wrestles tonight and again on Friday. That kinda gives your guy the advantage. JBL: I’m getting tired of your games Foley. You better quit stalling. Alright... next Friday night, Kendrick and London, one on one for the Cruiserweight Title. Foley: Deal. Now... about your team for Survivor Series. You’ve got Mysterio, Lashley... and this mystery new signing of yours. Who is it? JBL: What’s wrong Foley? You worried? Well you should be. I am putting together one of the greatest teams in Survivor Series history. As for my new signing... you don’t need to know that right now. But I promise you... he will be the difference maker. Foley: Alright. You wanna hear my team so far? JBL: Not really... Foley: I’ve got the Samoan Bulldozer, Umaga. I’ve got my new WWE Tag Team Champions, Morrison and Dreamer... JBL: We need to discuss a rematch for those titles too because... Foley: Not now, not now. The fourth member of my team... is Colt Cabana! JBL: Colt Cabana?! Foley: That’s right. I tell you what, why don’t you pull up a chair JBL? He’s up next... against one of your guys I believe... --------------------- Colt Cabana v Gregory Helms Smackdown’s Gregory Helms is the latest man to try and break Colt Cabana’s undefeated streak. Helms starts the match aggressive as always, targeting Cabana’s arm, wrenching Cabana’s shoulder before taking him down, driving the knee, dropping the leg and then locking on an armbar. The two then exchange chain wrestling moves, with Cabana eventually breaking the hold with a backflip from the corner and a clothesline. Cabana now looks to build some offense, slamming Helms to the mat, hitting a springboard moonsault for a 2 count before going to the second rope and hitting an elbow drop. Cabana then sends Helms off the ropes, but when Cabana goes for a leapfrog, Helms counters with a powerbomb for a 2 count. Helms now goes on the attack, returning to the shoulder by sending Cabana into the ringpost and then nailing a shoulderbeaker. Neckbreakers, Russian legsweeps and dropkicks follow, but Helms becomes frustrated as his repeated covers only lead to 2 counts. Helms looks to end things with the nitemare on Helms street, but Cabana is able to break free, and he counters with a belly-to-belly overhead. Helms is reeling, and Cabana sets him up on the top rope for... a frankensteiner! 1... 2... Helms gets the shoulder up! Cabana can’t believe it, but after a series of right hands, he goes for... the Colt .45! Cabana nails it, and he once again hooks the leg... 1... 2... 3! Angle: You know, Shelton and I... I’m sure we’ll get along just fine. Tonight’s the first time we’ll have teamed together in a long time. Shelton and I, will go out there tonight and get the job done. But Shelton... I’m not your friend and I’m not your buddy. We might be teaming tonight, but come Survivor Series... it’s all about the ECW Championship. This leads to both trading a flurry of rights and lefts, with Mahoney eventually getting the advantage, eventually teeing off with four straight lefts and winding up for a right... until Umaga nails him with a heel kick. Umaga shakes off the right hands and goes to work, hitting a diving headbutt, a big splash and then locking on a nerve hold. Balls tries to fight it, and he manages to get back to his feet, but as he hits right hands, Umaga sends him back down with a clothesline. He then again comes off the ropes for the splash, but this time Mahoney rolls out of the way. Again Balls goes for rights and lefts, driving Umaga to the corner and then sending him across, following in with a splash in the corner and a spinning spinebuster for a 2 count. Mahoney then climbs to the top rope, lines Umaga up... big splash off the top... no! This time it’s Umaga who has to roll out of the way, and as both men stagger to their feet, Umaga is waiting... Samoan drop! Umaga drives Balls to the mat, but he’s not done there, as he drags Mahoney to his feet... Samoan spike! Balls goes down again, and this time Umaga goes for the cover... 1... 2... 3. Kane is letting Umaga know he’s on his way back and he’s coming for him. Styles: Well when will Kane return? Will he be on our team for Survivor Series? Tazz: Forget about that, what kind of mental state is Kane in right now? Styles: That’s a good point. Well... it’s now time for our main event! Burke and Angle have a hard hitting exchange, with Angle nailing Burke with overhead and belly-to-belly suplexes, and Burke firing back with kicks to the head and a dropkick. Angle is driven to the corner, but when Burke goes for a big splash, Angle avoids him, nails Kendrick with a right hand and tags in Benjamin. Shelton comes into the ring and unloads on his former partner Burke, nailing him with a roundhouse kick and a bulldog. Shelton goes for a tornado DDT, but Burke manages to counter into a side suplex, before tagging in Kendrick. Kendrick climbs to the top rope and enters the ring with a dropkick off the top, before coming off the ropes with a flying forearm and then hitting a double foot stomp. Quick tags between Burke and Kendrick follow, as they wear Benjamin down, resulting in several two counts. Benjamin is driven to the corner, as Burke then charges in looking for the Elijah express... but Benjamin leapfrogs out of the way, and as Burke staggers out of the corner, Benjamin hits payidrt! Shelton is too banged up to make the cover though, and he crawls to his corner, and just as Burke tags in Kendrick, here comes Angle. Angle comes in and ducks a Kendrick right hand, sending him flying with a release German before turning his attention to Burke and nailing him with an overhead belly-to-belly. Benjamin is back up, and he sends Benjamin over the top rope, and when Burke finally gets back to his feet, Angle is ready... Angle slam! Burke goes down, and Kendrick decides against making the save... 1... 2... 3! Hello everyone, I’m Michael Cole, alongside Jonathan Coachman, and Coach, it was quite the week we had in Manchester, England. Coach: Well, the fact Hawkins and Ryder lost the tag titles to a bunch of rejects from ECW was a disaster, but at the end of the night, Bobby Lashley laid out both Rey Mysterio and the World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk, and I am convinced JBL has something to do with it. Cole: Well Bobby Lashley wound up saving the title for Punk last week, and that means the match is set for Survivor Series, CM Punk will defend the title against MVP. Coach: And that will be the night MVP gets back his World Heavyweight Championship. He was robbed at Cyber Sunday by CM Punk, he was robbed by the fans and... Cole: Well wait a minute... speaking of the champion, here comes CM Punk now. The champion is making his way down to the ring and he looks like he has something to say. Coach: Do we really have to listen to this? Punk: I got something I gotta say. In the past couple weeks, I have defended the World Heavyweight Championship on Smackdown. Two weeks ago I put the title on the line against Bobby Lashley, and last week I put it on the line against Rey Mysterio. And on both occasions, I had somebody come out and get involved in my match. Both times, somebody decided to stick their nose in my business. And that’s lead to a lot of guys saying I can’t defend my title. That I can’t keep hold of the title without somebody saving me in my matches. I didn’t ask anybody to come out and interfere in my matches. So right here, right now, I’m willing to put my title on the line. I say, why don’t we bring the Survivor Series match forward a couple of weeks? I say, why don’t we have CM Punk and MVP for the World Heavyweight Championship tonight?! I’ll put my title on the line, and I will state right now, that I don’t want to see anybody get involved in the match. I don’t want to see anybody anywhere near the ring. I will... 1, 2, YOU HEAR THE CLOCK TICKIN’ Cole: Wait a minute, here comes MVP. CM Punk has laid down the challenge, is MVP out here to accept? Coach: Well I don’t think it matters. We all know somebody will come out and save the title again for Punk. MVP: You and me... tonight? That’s what you want, huh Punk? You and me tonight. I bet you’d like that wouldn’t you? I bet you got this all planned out. I face you tonight, you get somebody... dare I say, somebody like Rey Mysterio... to come out here, interfere in the match, save the title for you, then I lose my rematch clause, and you keep the title. That’s your plan huh Punk? Well you know what? I’m not facing you tonight. I said two weeks ago that I wanted to face you so I could take my title off of you... but it’s not going to happen tonight. You and me are set for Survivor Series... and that’s when out match is gonna happen. Not when you want... when I want. You see, I... Cole: Wait... that’s JBL’s music. JBL, the general manager of Smackdown is now coming out here. I wonder what our GM has to say? Coach: I hope it’s about Bobby Lashley. I know JBL and Lashley are working together somehow... JBL: Wait a minute... you two just hold on there. You two do not get to dictate Championship matches whenever you want. I am the general manager, any World Heavyweight Championship matches have to go through me first. That’s why tonight... there will be no World Heavyweight Championship match. These idiots in Atlanta do not deserve a World Heavyweight Championship match. But since you two seem so eager to wrestle tonight, we’re going to have a tag team match with you two, as CM Punk and Rey Mysterio take on MVP and Bobby Lashley. Cole: A big time main event tonight. MVP and Lashley teaming together against Punk and Mysterio. Coach: And I fully expect MVP to lead Lashley to victory tonight. JBL: As for people interfering in your matches Punk... I agree, it is a problem. I can’t take the chance that somebody interferes in your match at Survivor Series. I can’t take the risk that somebody gets involved in the Smackdown main event. That’s why, at Survivor Series... it’s going to be CM Punk defending the World Heavyweight Championship against MVP... in a steel cage match! Cole: Wow! What a huge announcement for Survivor Series! CM Punk and MVP in a steel cage, World Heavyweight Championship on the line! Coach: I love that decision. Now there’ll be nobody to save CM Punk, and nothing to stop MVP from regaining his championship. -------------------- Cryme Tyme v The Empire After William Regal introduced us to the Empire last week in England, Burchill, McIntyre, Regal and Katie Lea are back this week, looking to make a name for themselves in the tag team division against Cryme Tyme. McIntyre and JTG kick things off, and it doesn’t take long for JTG to take control, nailing McIntyre with boots and right hands before taking him down with a neckbreaker and tagging in Shad. Shad now uses his power, hitting McIntyre with elbows and a long vertical suplex, before slamming him to the mat and bringing JTG back in. JTG looks to send McIntyre of the ropes, but McIntyre reverses, and when Katie Lea grabs JTG by the foot, Burchill takes advantage of the distraction by nailing him with a clothesline, allowing McIntyre to tag him in. Burchill pummels JTG, sending him hard to the corner, driving the shoulder and the elbow, dropping him with a backbreaker and a shoulderbreaker. Quick tags from Burchill and McIntyre follow, as Coach marvels at the way Regal has brought this team together. McIntyre locks on a chinlock, but JTG is able to break it with a jawbreaker, before he dives to the corner to tag in Shad. McIntyre and Burchill both go down to clotheslines, before McIntyre is sent flying with a back body drop and Burchill is sent over the top rope. Cryme Tyme then look to set McIntyre u for their G9 finisher, but as JTG comes off the ropes, Katie Lea is on the apron distracting the ref, allowing Regal to pull down the top rope, sending JTG to the floor, which lets Burchill jump into the ring and nail Shad with a jumping neckbreaker from behind, letting McIntyre go for the cover... 1... 2... 3. DiBiase: What’s on my mind? I’ll tell you what’s on my mind. You see Eve, as the son of the Million Dollar Man, I grew up with a very privileged life. I never had to worry about not getting whatever I wanted... my Dad would simply go out and get it for me. But now I’m here on Smackdown... I’m not getting what I want... and I don’t like that. You see Eve, I debuted on Smackdown about 2 months ago, and since then, I have beaten every opponent that has been put infront of me. And now... I want to acquire some gold here on Smackdown. But since I can’t buy a title... I want a title shot. I want a shot for the United States Championship. Matt Hardy... I am challenging you to a match for your title... and if you won’t give it to me... I’m sure JBL could be persuaded to make it happen... cause everybody’s got a price... even a Wall Street Millionaire. --------------------- Billy Kidman v Paul London With his rematch for the Cruiserweight Title set for next Friday night, Paul London goes against Billy Kidman tonight, looking for a win to build momentum before the title match. The match starts at a fast pace, with both men flying around the ring, with London hitting a tornado DDT and Kidman hitting back with a springboard crossbody. London takes control with an enziguri, and when Kidman rolls to the floor to regroup, London stays on the attack... summersault plancha! London connects, and rolls Kidman back into the ring and gets a 2 count. London continues to attack, hitting a dropkick and climbing to the top rope, but when he goes for a splash Kidman rolls out of the way. Kidman now looks to take advantage, dropping London with a neckbreaker and the hitting a legdrop. Kidman then starts focusing on London’s leg, hitting kicks to the knee, a legdrop across it and using the ropes to drop the elbow too. Kidman then drags London to the corner, smashing his knee off the ringpost and getting a 2 count. Kidman then goes to the top rope, looking for the shooting star press to end it, but London dives for the ropes, leaving Kidman perched on the top turnbuckle. London then uses the ropes to drag himself to his feet, and after a few right hands, he climbs to the second rope... frankensteiner! London sends Kidman flying to the mat, and he crawls over for the cover... 1... 2... Kidman gets a foot on the rope. London can’t believe it, but when both men make it back to their feet, London sends Kidman back down with an enziguri before climbing to the top rope, steadying himself for... a 450 splash! London connects, hooks the leg... 1... 2... 3! Paul London grabs the win, but will the damage to his knee effect him in his title match against The Kendrick next week. JBL: That’s right. You stick with me Lashley, and I can take you to the very top here on Smackdown. I can get you title shots, I can make you a champion... if you do a few things for me. Lashley: Like what? JBL: Well for starters... since you’re on my team for Survivor Series... you can make sure Smackdown destroys ECW. Palumbo starts the match strong, hitting power moves such as driving Val to the corner and nailing him with boots and elbows, before sending him off the ropes and catching Val with a big boot. Palumbo stomps away and drops the elbow, before again sending Val off the ropes, this time sending him down with a shoulderblock. The fight spills to the floor, where Palumbo looks to send Val into the ringpost... but Val reverses the Irish whip, and it’s Palumbo who tastes the steel. Val then drives Palumbo into the barricade, before the fight returns to the ring and Val hits a spinebuster and an elbow drop. Val then climbs to the second rope, and as Palumbo gets back to his feet, Val launches himself... only for Palumbo to catch him and go for a running powerslam... but Val escapes down the back, sending Palumbo into the corner, allowing Val to his a bridging German suplex for a 2 count. Both men are quickly back up, but when Palumbo charges at Val, Val hits another spinebuster before climbing to the top rope. Val makes the climb, steadies himself and goes for... the money shot! Hawkins swings away with rights and lefts, but Big Show just brushes them off, before sending Hawkins to the mat with a headbutt. Hawkins goes to the corner and starts pleading with Show, but the big man just laughs him off, hitting another headbutt and sending Hawkins flying with a hiptoss. Show then sends Hawkins to the corner, nailing big slaps across his chest. Ryder then jumps up on the apron, and as Show goes to confront him, Hawkins is able to take advantage of the distraction with a dropkick to the knee. Hawkins now looks to attack, stomping on Show’s knee and hitting kicks to the head. Hawkins then distracts the referee, allowing Ryder to hit a cheap shot from the outside. Hawkins looks like he might be able to build some offense, but when he goes for an Irish whip, Show reverses, and he nails Hawkins with a big boot as he comes off the ropes. Show then hits a huge legdrop, before getting back to his feet and calling for the chokeslam. Hawkins can barely get back up, but when he staggers to his feet, Show locks his hand around his neck... but Ryder charges into the ring... but Show catches him around the throat too... double chokeslam! Both Hawkins and Ryder hit the mat, and Show covers Hawkins... 1... 2... 3. Rey, Punk, last week we saw you two face off for the World Heavyweight Championship... until Bobby Lashley decided to get involved in the match. Now tonight you two are teaming up against Lashley and MVP. Rey, Punk, can you get along tonight in your tag team match? Mysterio: You know, I respect CM Punk. We had our championship match, it was fair match... and then Bobby Lashley stuck his nose in. I don’t have a problem with CM Punk... I have a problem with Bobby Lashley. Punk: Rey and me will get along just fine tonight. But MVP... Lashley... you two better be able to work together too... or else me and Rey are going to run right through you guys. -------------------- Matt Hardy v Santino Marella As the bell ring, Santino acts as ignorant and goofy as always, until a hard right hand from Hardy gets the match underway. The United States Champion goes on the attack early, smashing Santino with rights and forearms before hitting an early side effect for a 2 count. Hardy then hits a Russian legsweep, before climbing to the second rope... but he misses with the legdrop. Santino now goes on the attack, taking Hardy down with a swinging neckbreaker before dropping the elbow. Santino then goes for a diving headbutt, but Hardy rolls out of the way, before sending Santino to the corner before following in with a clothesline and coming out of the corner with a bulldog. Hardy gets another 2 count, until his attention is taking by... Cole: Wait a second... Coach: What’s he doing out here? Cole: That’s... that’s Ted DiBiase. DiBiase, who earlier tonight challenged Matt Hardy for the United States Championship, saying he was even willing to buy a title shot, is standing at the top of the ramp. Coach: Well it looks like he’s out here for a little scouting mission. Cole: Matt Hardy is still going to work on Santino, but he’s got to be at least a little distracted by DiBiase being out here... Hardy continues to hit right hands, but when he slams Santino to the mat, Hardy turns and points a finger at DiBiase, asking what he’s doing at the top of the ramp. This allows Santino to come from behind with a roll up... 1... 2... Hardy kicks out, but Santino is quickly back up, and he lands a stiff kick to the spine of Hardy. Santino then locks on a headlock, wrenching away on Hardy’s neck. Hardy eventually gets back to his feet, breaking the hold with a jawbreaker and taking Santino down with a clothesline. Santino is quickly back up, but so is Hardy... side effect! Hardy again goes to the second rope... and this time he connects with the legdrop... 1... 2... Santino kicks out. Hardy looks to stay on the attack, sending Santino to the corner... clothesline... bulldog! Hardy has the crowd behind him, and when Santino gets back to his feet, Hardy is waiting... twist of fate! Hardy nails Santino, and with DiBiase looking on, he goes for the cover... 1... 2... 3! Matt Hardy beat Santino Marella (B+) ------------------- Cole: Welcome back folks. Up next, our main event, CM Punk and Rey Mysterio teaming up to take on MVP and Bobby Lashley. Coach: And as you can see, we have been joined at commentary by our general manager. Cole: JBL... what are you doing out here? JBL: I’m out here to make sure there’s no interference in this match. I want this match to be fair, I don’t want anybody getting involved like the main events we’ve had the previous weeks. Coach: And I think it is commendable for you to do that boss. Cole: You’re not out here to get a close up view of Bobby Lashley as well are you? JBL: Well I figured I could do that while I’m here... Punk and Lashley start the match, with the champion having to use all his athleticism to avoid Lashley’s power offense, as Lashley sings and misses with rights and clotheslines, with Punk firing back with kicks to the head and legs, before he takes Lashley down with a bulldog. Mysterio gets the tag, and he comes into the ring with the west coast pop for a 2 count. Mysterio looks to quicken the pace, kicking Lashley and coming off the ropes for a crossbody... but Lashley catches him... and sends him flying with a fallaway slam. MVP now gets tagged in, and he stomps away, driving the knee, dropping the elbow and nailing Rey with a suplex. MVP and Lashley then look to focus on Mysterio, with Lashley tossing him around with overhead belly-to-belly suplexes and a long vertical suplex, while MVP slams Rey to the mat and connects with the ballin’ elbow for a 2 count. Lashley is in the ring, and he sends Rey hard to the corner with an Irish whip, before lining Rey up for the spear... but Rey uses the corner to avoid it... and then goes for a sunset flip... 1... 2... Lashley kicks out. Mysterio then hits the wheelbarrow bulldog, before crawling to the corner and tagging in Punk. The champion goes to the top rope and nails Lashley with a flying clothesline, before knocking MVP off the apron with a knee to the head. Punk then catches Lashley with an enziguri for a 2 count, before going for an Irish whip to the corner... Lashley reverses... leapfrog from Punk... but Lashley catches him on his shoulder... running powerslam... no! Mysterio hits a dropkick, and now Punk is in position for the cover... 1... 2... MVP makes the save, but now Punk starts working on MVP, nailing him with a spinning wheel kick... leaving MVP hung up on the second rope, and here comes Mysterio... 619! Rey connects, but as Mysterio jumps up to drop the dime, Lashley is back up... and he pushes Punk into Rey, causing Rey to hit the mat. Punk is clotheslined over the top rope, and as Rey staggers back up, Lashley is waiting... dominator! Lashley nails Rey, and he quickly goes for the cover... 1... 2... 3. Coach: JBL, I know you had to have a hand in that. I know you’ve been giving Lashley some advice. JBL: Haha! You better believe it! That’s why Lashley has agreed to do things my way. That’s why Lashley is on my Survivor Series team. The man is a monster, and he’s looking great right now! Cole: Well we are now just one week away from Survivor Series. JR: The Survivor Series is less than a week away, but tonight in Providence, RI, Monday Night Raw is getting ready for a war! Hello everyone, welcome to the show, I’m good ol’ JR, Jim Ross, alongside me is Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler, and King, after what we saw last week, the battle lines are drawn, and all hell could break loose tonight! King: Well last week Randy Orton and Revolution both took the fight to their opponents at Survivor Series. We saw Shawn Michaels and John Cena be ambushed, and as we went off the air, Orton had laid out the WWE Champion Jeff Hardy. JR: Also as we went off the air last week, Team Long was engaged in a huge brawl with Revolution, we’ll hope to hear on the condition of John Cena and Shawn Michaels, as well as find out who will be the final member of Team Long as Batista and Chris Jericho go one on one... I HEAR VOICES IN MY HEAD... JR: But right now, here comes the challenger for the WWE Championship this Sunday, the legend killer, Randy Orton. King: The last couple of weeks, we’ve seen Randy Orton hit sneak attacks on Jeff Hardy, and if you ask me, Randy Orton has the advantage going into this Sunday. JR: I’m sure Jeff Hardy will bring the fight this Sunday, and tonight, as Jeff will take on the undefeated Sheamus O’Shaunessy tonight, but let’s hear what Orton has to say... Orton: Last week, I once again proved that I hold the advantage over Jeff Hardy. I said last week that I held the advantage from way back at the Royal Rumble and No Way Out... and I showed again last week. I saw an opportunity to attack, and I took it. I once again struck, I once again proved just how dominant I am. This Sunday, I will win back my WWE Championship. I will put the finishing touches on one of the greatest years in WWE history. I beat Jeff Hardy, I beat John Cena... and I ended the career of Ric Flair. And Jeff, I notice recently that you’ve been spending some time with Ric Flair... and I find that rather appropriate. You see Jeff... you taking advice from a washed up, former superstar is really ironic... because that’s exactly what you’re going to be after this Sunday. I am going to... WOOOO King: What?! JR: You gotta be kidin’ me! King: Is he here? JR: He is! It’s the Nature Boy! King: Well we saw Ric Flair hanging out with Jeff Hardy last week in Atlanta, but I didn’t know he was going to be here tonight. JR: The dirtiest player in the game is here tonight, and he’s face to face with the man who ended his career at Wrestlemania 24... Flair: Woooo! The Nature Boy... is stylin’ and profilin’ tonight in Providence, RI! And you... Randy Orton... I am sick and tired of listening to you! For months, I have been sat at home, listening to you, going on and on about how you put me into retirement... and I am sick of it! You my friend... you need to stop living in the past, and start living in the now! And for you, that means Jeff Hardy this Sunday at the Survivor Series. You better... Orton: Wait, wait... hold on a second. I need to stop living in the past?! Coming from you, the 16 times heavyweight champion... that’s the most hypocritical thing I ever heard! I mean... what are you doing here Ric? Why are you here? What business do you have being in this arena tonight? Flair: Why am I here? I’m here as a guest of the WWE Champion, Jeff Hardy. And guess what Orton? This Sunday... I will be in Jeff Hardy’s corner for his match with you! Jeff Hardy is a guy who respects the history of this business. Jeff Hardy is a guy who respects those who were champion before him. Any way I can help Jeff Hardy, I’m going to do it. And respect is something you got a lot to learn about Orton. Orton: Oh really? You want to talk about respect? Back when we were in Evolution... I respected you Ric. I respected a man who was willing to be in the corner of the up-and-comers, a guy who was willing to support the others in the group. But when you decided that you still wanted to compete... I lost all respect for you. And quite frankly... when I finally ended your career... it was the best thing that ever happened to you. But since you’re so determined to keep hanging around... why don’t you come out of retirement for one last match... tonight, against me? King: Well... as much as I love Ric Flair, I don’t think that would be a smart move. JR: Absolutely not. I hope Ric Flair says no to this. Flair: You want to face me tonight? Look Randy... I’m retired. I am enjoying my retirement... and I’m not going to face you tonight, or any other night. Orton: Believe it or not Ric... I actually respect you for that... JR: Oh! Randy Orton just nailed Ric Flair with a right hand! King: And now look at Orton, all over the nature boy. JR: This is a heinous assault. There’s no need for... King: Hey! It’s Jeff Hardy! JR: Hardy is in the ring... and he’s taking the fight to Orton! Hardy and Orton in an all out brawl, just days before Survivor Series! King: Well here comes some officials to break this up, but the second Randy Orton laid his hands on Ric Flair, Jeff Hardy flew down to the ring. JR: And this Sunday, Flair will be in the WWE Champion’s corner. Orton talked about having the advantage, but will the presence of the nature boy give the advantage back to the champion? ---------------------- Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch v Carlito and Primo Colon We kick things off with tag team action, as the Colon brothers Carlito and Primo, with Apolo at ringside as always, take on Cade and Murdoch. Murdoch and Carlito start the match, with Carlito gaining the early advantage, hitting kicks to the gut and taking Murdoch down with a swinging neckbreaker. Primo gets the tag, but when he sends Murdoch off the ropes, Murdoch reverses and nails Primo with a knee to the midsection before tagging in Cade. Cade charges into the ring and rocks Primo with clotheslines and right hands before sending Primo flying with a back body drop. Cade then sends Primo off the ropes, but when Primo reverses, Carlito catches Cade with a boot to the back, allowing Primo to hit a dropkick and bring his brother back into the match. Carlito and Primo make plenty of tags as they wear down Cade, with Primo hitting a great crossbody off the top rope and Carlito dropping Cade with a springboard back elbow. Cade struggles to his feet, and Carlito has him lined up for the backstabber... but Cade saves himself by grabbing the top rope, before diving to his corner to tag in Murdoch. Trevor comes into the ring taking down both Colons, before sending Apolo back down to the floor with a right hand. Murdoch then grabs Primo, and after nailing him with a running boot to the face, he has him set up for... the ace of spades! Murdoch nails Primo and goes for the cover... 1... 2... Carlito makes the save, but here comes Cade... back body drop sends him over the top rope, and when the referee isn’t looking, Apolo nails him with a clothesline. Now Murdoch is outnumbered, but he manages to again set Primo up for the ace of spades... only for Carlito to come up from behind... backstabber! Carlito connects and hooks the leg... 1... 2... 3. Saying you were leaving then coming back for more. You think that was pretty cool don’t you? Shane: Gotta admit Teddy, I thought it was great. I mean, we got to Michaels, we got to Cena... and we got a bit of The Undertaker too. Good week for us. Speaking of Michaels, Cena and Taker... are they here tonight? Teddy: Cena and Michaels are at home, recovering... but they both wanted me to tell you that they will definitely be there this Sunday. Shane: Well I’m glad to hear that. And uh... what about Undertaker? Teddy: He’s here. I don’t know where, but he’s here. Shane: Oh yeah? Well... I gotta go. I mean I’m a busy guy and all... Teddy: Whoa, whoa... not so fast playa. I got a little challenge for you tonight. Shane: A challenge for me? Teddy: That’s right. I was thinking that maybe we could have a little preview match tonight. I was thinking... how about The Undertaker one on one with Triple H tonight? Shane: What? Are you crazy? Triple H and Taker tonight? Teddy: That’s right. But I was also thinking... since I know you never back down from a challenge... how about we make it a casket match? Shane: You... you want me to agree to Triple H and The Undertaker, tonight in a casket match? Teddy: What’s the matter Shane? You’re not... scared are ya? Shane: Hey, I’m a McMahon. We don’t know the meaning of that word. You want a casket match tonight? Alright... you’ll get your damn match. But I don’t want to see Kennedy, Jericho or Batista out there. Teddy: Well then the same goes for Kenny and the Bulldogs. Oh... dammit, I forgot. You need to tell Kenny, I made a match for his Intercontinental Title tonight. Yeah, he’s defending it against Chris Harris. My bad playa, I should’ve said something. Shane: You think you’re so... Teddy: Holla if you need me Shane, I’m a busy guy, got places to be, people to see... --------------------- JR: Welcome back to Raw folks. Up next, Beth Phoenix and Jillian Hall are set to go one on one. King: Yeah but we have been joined here on commentary by the Women’s Champion Melina. JR: Melina, I’m sure you heard, earlier today, it was announced that this Sunday you will defend the Women’s Title against Beth Phoenix at Survivor Series. Melina: Yes JR I know that. JR: Well what do you think? Can you beat the Glamazon this Sunday to hold onto your title? Melina: OK, well first of all, there is nothing glamorous about Beth Phoenix. She’s ugly, she’s trashy, she’s not that good... Beth Phoenix v Jillian Hall With the champion looking on, Phoenix looks to put on a commanding performance, and she shows this straight from the first tie up, as Beth takes Jillian down with a slam and follows with an elbow drop. Hall is then sent to the corner, and Phoenix follows her in with a clothesline before another clothesline takes the match to the outside. Another clothesline sends Jillian down, but Melina starts getting in Beth’s face, and it looks like Survivor Series may come earlier, but Jillian takes advantage of the distraction, slamming Beth face first off the announce desk before rolling her back into the ring. Jillian now looks to build some offense, grabbing the hair and slamming Beth face first to the mat and then sending Beth to the corner and hitting a handspring back elbow. Kicks to the gut follow, but as Jillian goes for an Irish whip, Phoenix reverses... but she runs into a boot, and Jillian goes to the second rope... crossbody... no! Beth catches her... fallaway slam! Phoenix gets a 2 count, and while Jillian does her best to hang on, the end is near as Phoenix has her up for... the glam slam! Beth drives Jillian to the mat, hooks the leg... 1... 2... 3! Beth Phoenix beat Jillian Hall (C-) JR: Well a great victory for the number one contender for the Women’s Title. King: Melina, I know you don’t like Beth Phoenix, but you had to be impressed with what you saw there. Melina: You want to see something impressive? JR: Hey now... Melina just dropped headset, and she’s into the ring... King: Oh! Melina just nailed Beth Phoenix from behind with the Women’s Championship! JR: A sickening attack from the champion! King: JR, these two have been on a collision course for a while now, and this Sunday when they finally meet, there’s going to be some fireworks between these two. -------------------- Backstage, the three men involved in last week’s triple threat match are deep in discussion... Kennedy: Listen... uh... about last week. I’m sorry how it went down Dave. I mean, I know you want to get your hands on Revolution as bad as I do, but... Batista: But what Kennedy? You needed a distraction, a distraction from Shane McMahon no less, to beat me last week. I mean, fist I can’t believe I’ve got to be in this qualifying thing, and now I’ve got you stealing wins from me. Jericho: Look Dave, we understand this whole Survivor Series thing was your idea, but we all want to get out hands on Revolution. The best five guys will be in the team... and I plan on being one of them. Batista: Oh yeah? Well so do I. Jericho: Well we'll see tonight who’s the better man... Kennedy: Guys, c’mon. Remember, just go out and compete. No need for anybody to get hurt tonight and miss Survivor Series. Batista: We’ll see... -------------------- Intercontinental Championship Match Kenny Dykstra (C) v Chris Harris Kenny, as always, is accompanied to the ring by Harry and TJ, as Revolution looks to make its presence felt. Despite the presence of the Bulldogs, Harris, looking to build on his recent string of wins, starts the match strongly, catching Kenny with right hands, sending him off the ropes and connecting with a dropkick before taking Kenny up for a long vertical suplex. Harris then climbs to the top rope, but with Harry distracting the referee on the other side of the ring, TJ uses the distraction to push Harris to the mat. Kenny now goes on the attack, stomping down on Harris, driving his knee into Harris’ arm and then hitting a shoulderbreaker as Dykstra looks to zero in on Harris’ arm. Harris is then tossed to the outside, and with the referee again distracted, Harry and TJ go to work, stomping away and sending Harris into the ringpost before rolling him back into the ring. Dykstra again goes to work on the arm, locking on an armbar. Harris tries and fails several times to break the hold, until eventually he fights back to his feet, before sending Dykstra off the ropes and nailing him with a spinning spinebuster. Harris starts to build momentum, taking Dykstra down with a pair of clotheslines before dropping him again with a bulldog. Dykstra is reeling, and with his title in jeopardy, he staggers back to his feet... right into the catatonic! Harris connects with the spinning side slam... but TJ has the referee distracted. Just when it looks like Dykstra is out, there’s no referee to make the count, and Harry slides into the ring... and nails Harris with the Intercontinental title! Harry quickly slips out of the ring, and as TJ drops back off the apron, Dykstra has dragged himself on top of Harris... 1... 2... 3. Kenny Dykstra beat Chris Harris to retain the Intercontinental Championship (B) -------------------- Backstage, Maria is standing by with... Maria: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time, he is the WWE Champion... Jeff Hardy! And Jeff, earlier tonight we found out that you’ll have Ric Flair in your corner this Sunday at the Survivor Series for your match with Randy Orton. Jeff, why have you asked Ric Flair to be in your corner? Jeff: Well who better to have in your corner than a 16 time world champion? Who better than a man who’s known Randy Orton for years? Ric Flair is a guy who any champion could learn from, and I plan on learning a lot from him. This Sunday, I’m going to have him in my corner, and that gives me an advantage, and Randy Orton knows that. And who knows... maybe I’ll pick up a trick or two from the dirtiest player in the game. -------------------- Chris Jericho v Batista The last spot in Team Long is up for grabs here, with both men determined to grab that place and go on to Survivor Series to end Revolution’s stranglehold over Raw. Straight from the bell, the Animal drives Jericho to the corner, driving the shoulder into the gut and then sending Jericho flying with a hiptoss. Hard right hands and boots to the chest follow, and the Animal gets a 2 count after a running powerslam. The match swings in Jericho’s favour when Batista sends him to the corner and Jericho counters with a springboard dropkick, following up with a one handed bulldog for a 2 count. Both men trade moves, with Batista hitting a spinebuster and Jericho firing back with an enziguri. Jericho looks to quicken the pace, hitting a spinning wheel kick, backing Batista into the corner and hitting a series of chops to the chest. Jericho then goes for an Irish whip across, but Batista counters... but Jericho jumps to the second rope... springboard crossbody... but Batista counters with a spear! Batista nails Jericho in mid-air, and it looks like the Animal s about to put Jericho away, as he drags him in and goes for... the Batista-bomb... no! Randy Orton. And Randy, earlier tonight we heard Ric Flair say... Orton: You know what we heard earlier tonight Todd? We heard the act of a desperate man. Infact, we heard the last act of a desperate champion. Jeff Hardy, is so worried about the threat of me, he’s so worried that I will take his title... that he needs to turn to a guy like Ric Flair, a washed-up hasbeen who I personally put on the shelf. Well you know what Jeff? You’re right to be worried. You’re right to be afraid. This Sunday... I will take that title away from you... and when I do... the age of Orton will rise again. -------------------- Jeff Hardy v Sheamus O’Shaunessy The still undefeated Sheamus O’Shaunessy steps into the ring with the WWE Champion Jeff Hardy, in a match that will be a huge test for both men involved. The ever dangerous Sheamus goes on the attack straight from the bell, but Hardy uses his quickness and elusiveness to dodge most of his offense, firing back with right hands and a spinning mule kick. Hardy then hits a double legdrop to the groin, but when he goes for an Irish whip to the corner, Sheamus reverses... but Hardy jumps to the second rope... whisper in the wind... nobody home! Sheamus avoids the contact, and now it’s the big Irishman who goes on the attack, throwing Hardy to the corner and hitting rights and lefts to the midsection, before sending Jeff off the ropes and nailing him with a big boot. Sheamus then sends the champ flying after a back body drop, before locking on a bearhug. Sheamus wrenches away on the champion, and eventually he has Hardy worn down to the point that the referee begins raising his hand... it drops once... twice... but stays up the third time! The crowd now tries to rally the champion, and Jeff responds, hitting a flurry of right hands to break the hold, before coming off the ropes, ducking a clothesline and hitting a flying forearm. Jeff now starts to build momentum, hitting kicks and right hands before nailing a sitout jawbreaker and going for... the twist of fate... but Sheamus blocks it and sends Jeff off the ropes... before nailing him with a hard clothesline. Jeff’s neck snaps back off the mat, and it looks like the Irish curse could be about to pick up a huge win, until... King: I gotta say JR, I am really impressed with this Sheamus O’Shaunessy. JR: He’s scarier than my mother in law, but he is a real powerhouse and... King: Hey... do you see that? JR: That’s... that’s little Hornswoggle! We haven’t seen Hornswoggle since he was assaulted by Sheamus in England. King: Was he hiding under the ring? JR: I think so. But in the ring... Sheamus has Jeff set up for the Celtic slam... but Hornswoggle is up on the apron. King: Wait a minute... Sheamus has spotted him. Get out of there Hornswoggle! JR: Now c’mon, don’t... wait... from behind... King: It’s Finlay! Finlay’s in the ring... JR: Horswoggle ahs the referee distracted... oh! Finlay just nailed Sheamus with the shillelagh! And now Jeff Hardy is climbing to the top rope... King: Twist of fate! King: And that's a great win for Jeff going into Survivor Series. He's just ended... JR: Oh! From behind... it's Randy Orton! Jeff Hardy was making his way up the ramp, stopped at the top to salute the fans, and once again Orton has sturck! King: And now Orton... he's lining Jeff up. He's gonna punt him in the... Both men show no fear as they get in each other’s faces, with the Game trash talking, while Taker keeps an ice cold look on his face. Eventually the right hands begin to fly, with neither man backing down, until Taker manages to string three of four in a row, before going for an Irish whip... but Triple h reverses... and Taker ducks his clothesline... flying clothesline from the Deadman! The match continues at a frantic pace, with Taker firing away with quick rights and lefts to the midsection, before scooping Triple H up for... snake eyes! Taker comes off the ropes... clothesline, and the Game rolls under the bottom rope to try regroup, but the Deadman stays on the attack, taking the fight to the outside. Taker rocks the Game with a hard right, sending him staggering towards the announce desk, but as Taker walks over, Triple H turns round and nails him with the ring bell! Now Triple H looks to take control, sending Taker crashing into the steel steps before rolling Taker back into the ring and raining down with right hands. Undertaker backs off to the corner, and both men again start trading right hand, until Taker goes for the Irish whip... reversal... spinning spinebuster from the Game. Triple H staggers back to his feet... and the Deadman sits up, leaving a look of fear on the face of the Game. Triple H tries to hit right hands, but Taker blocks and fires back. Undertaker then wrenches Triple H’s arm, as the Deadman walks the top rope... old school... no! The Game kicks the top rope out of desperation, handing Taker a sore landing. The Game then calls for the casket to be opened for the first time, and Undertaker is rolled into the casket! All the Game has to do is close the lid... but Taker grabs him by the throat! Taker sends the Game back into the ring, and once again the Deadman rains down with fists, before sending Triple H off the ropes and dropping him with a boot. Now the Deadman calls for the end, waiting for Triple H to get back up... he grabs him by the throat... oh! Low blow out of desperation by the Game! Triple H now quickly moves to the outside, going under the ring to grab his sledgehammer, but as he does, the camera cuts backstage... King: What the...? What is this? JR: That’s a brawl backstage! That’s the tag team champions Kennedy and Jericho! King: And they’re fighting with Kenny, TJ and Harry! JR: We’ve got a match in the ring, and a brawl backstage! Triple H has the sledgehammer in his... oh my! The Undertaker just sat up! King: Uh... Triple H! You might want to turn around! JR: Yeah turn around Game! Turn right into... Triple H turns around, sledgehammer still in hand, but The Undertaker is ready for him, and he scoops him up for... a tombstone! Undertaker drives Triple H to the mat, and this one is all but over. Taker now starts to roll Triple H towards the casket, and with the Game out cold and in position, all there is left to do is roll him in. The referee’s lift the lid up, but as The Undertaker goes to push Triple H in, the Deadman is rocked by a chair shot from... JR: Shane McMahon! King: How the hell did he get inside the casket?! JR: That damn son of a bitch Shane! He’s just saved the Game again! King: And now he’s trying to get Triple H back up but... JR: The Undertaker sat up! The Undertaker sat up again... oh! But another chair shot from Shane puts him back down! Dammit! Bah gawd, what the hell is this? King: JR, there’s nobody to help The Undertaker! Cena and Michaels aren’t here, Jericho and Kennedy are brawling backstage, and Batista took off! JR: And now Triple H is back up, and he’s got that damn sledgehammer! Shane McMahon... dragging The Undertaker to his feet... no! Don’t do it! You’ll kill him! King: Oh my God... JR: No! Oh! A shot to the skull with the sledgehammer! God almighty! What the hell is wrong with these two! King: Shane McMahon and Triple H have set up The Undertaker... JR: Yeah and now you’re rolling him into the casket! The Undertaker is out, he’s in the casket... and the match is over. Triple H beat The Undertaker (A*) JR: God dammit! Shane McMahon was hiding out in the casket, and he just handed the win to Triple H. King: And now... what is this? JR: Oh my God! No! Triple H is wearing out that sledgehammer on the casket! King: And The Undertaker’s still inside! JR: What the hell is the meaning of this? The Undertaker is inside the casket, probably unconscious from the sledgehammer shot, and now Triple H is taking shots at the casket. King: And remember, Cena and Michaels aren’t here, Jericho and Kennedy are fighting with Dykstra and the Bulldogs backstage, and Batista left. JR: Now what are they doing? Triple H and Shane McMahon are wheeling the casket up the ramp. King: Where are they going? JR: I have no idea but... no! No! King: Don’t do that! JR: Triple H and Shane are... oh my God! Oh my God! Triple H and Shane McMahon just sent that casket flying off the stage! King: Oh my God... JR: The Undertaker is inside that casket, and it’s just been sent flying to the concrete! We need some help out here! King: God I... I can’t believe this. JR: God we... we’re out of time folks. We’ve finally got some help for The Undertaker, but I don’t think we’ll be finding out his condition tonight. King: Will The Undertaker make it to Survivor Series JR? JR: I’ve seen that man overcome a lot of things. I hope to God he makes it, but we’ll have to wait until Survivor Series to find out. Hello everyone, I’m Joey Styles alongside former ECW Champion Tazz, welcome to ECW on Sci- Fi. Coming up tonight, a challenge from Smackdown general manager John Bradshaw Layfield earlier today has led to a huge main event. Tazz: Boy you’re not kiddin’. Bobby Lashley, JBL’s hired gun of sorts, and a former 2-time ECW Champion I might add, is in the house and he is set to go one on one with the ECW Champion, Kurt Angle. Styles: As I said, Survivor Series is just five days away, and not only do we have the battles of the brand, but Kurt Angle will defend the ECW Championship against Shelton Benjamin. Tazz: That’s going to be a hell of a match. Two incredibly talented guys squaring of for the ECW Title, I can’t wait! AIN’T NO STOPPIN’ ME NOW... Styles: And speaking of Shelton Benjamin, here comes the number one contender now. We are kicking things off with Shelton Benjamin and The Miz one on one... Shelton Benjamin and The Miz Shelton and Miz get us started tonight, with Miz as always being accompanied by Layla. The number one contender takes control early on, as from the first tie up he locks on a headlock, before coming off the ropes with a clothesline. Benjamin follows up with a roundhouse kick and a tornado DDT, before sending Miz to the outside. Miz takes his time getting back into the ring, but when he does, he catches Benjamin with a cheap shot, before going to work on Benjamin’s leg. Miz hits a dropkick to the knee, then uses the ropes to apply pressure before locking on a half Boston crab. Benjamin struggles to escape, before finally using his leg strength to sends Miz crashing into the ropes. Benjamin struggles to his feet, and Miz takes advantage, hitting a chop block and again going back to work, this time locking on a figure four. Benjamin cries out in pain, but he can’t quite reach the ropes. Eventually Shelton rolls over and reverses the pressure, forcing Miz to release the hold. Both men are slow to get back up, and when they do, both trade right hands. Benjamin manages to rattle off three in a row, before going for an Irish whip... Miz reverses... and Benjamin ducks a clothesline... bridging German suplex... 1... 2... Miz kicks out. Benjamin now looks to build some offense, sending Miz to the corner and following in with a splash, dropping Miz with a bulldog before waiting for him to get back on his feet... paydirt! Shelton connects, hooks the leg... 1... 2... 3! We fight for the name of ECW. Dreamer: Damn right! Colt: Tell ‘em boss! Foley: Now I realise that we’re going into this the underdogs. I mean, Smackdown have got Edge... Bobby Lashley... Big Show... Rey Mysterio... and whoever this new guy is. On paper, we shouldn’t stand a chance... but we do. Cause that’s the way it’s always been on ECW. Ever since it was founded, ECW has been the underdog, the pain in the ass that wouldn’t go away. We were the underdogs then... and we’re the underdogs now. But this Sunday... I want you all to fight with all you’ve got. I want you five to... Colt: Uh... boss. We uh... we’ve only got four guys right now. Foley: What? Morrison: You haven’t told us who the fifth guy is yet. Foley: Oh yeah... uh... I hoped he would be here for this but... Dreamer: Who is it Mick? Colt: Is it... is it Kane? Estrada: It better not be Kane amigo! Or else Umaga is not... Foley: Whoa, whoa... relax Estrada. It’s not Kane. I don’t know where Kane is. Nobody’s heard from him in weeks. As far as I’m aware, Kane is not medically cleared to wrestle yet, and until I hear otherwise, that’s the way it’s going to stay. Morrison: So who is it? Foley: Well... it’s... The Kendrick: What’s shaking ladies? Dreamer: Uh no... Mick... Colt: This is not cool. Foley: Alright, alright. I know nobody likes Kendrick... The Kendrick: That’s... The Kendrick... Foley: I know nobody likes The Kendrick, but he’s a damn good wrestler, and I’ve been impressed with him lately. Now... as I was saying... I want you to five to go into Survivor Series and I want you to fight with all you’ve got. I want you to leave it all in that ring, I want you to... Estrada: You know what Foley? We don’t need this little pep talk amigo. The Samoan bulldozer fights for nobody but himself. Umaga will be there on Sunday, but he won’t be fighting for ECW my friend. Colt: Hey man... show some damn respect. We’re in a war here. We need everybody working together. Estrada: What? You want to make something of this little man? Foley: Enough! Cabana, Estrada, if you two have a problem, I’d rather you got out of your system tonight. So, how about Colt Cabana and Umaga one on one later tonight? You happy with that Estrada? Estrada: Si. But listen Cabana... your little undefeated streak... it ends tonight amigo. Colt: We’ll see about that... Foley: Alright, get out of here you two. Now... Morrison, Dreamer, you two guys better get out of here. You guys have a tag team match next. Morrison: Mick... I just want to say. This Sunday... we will beat ECW. Foley: And then we’ll party in the palace of wisdom? Awesome! Now, you get to the ring, you’re up next. The Kendrick: What about me boss? Foley: You Kendrick? You just stay the hell out of my way until Sunday... oh, and good luck this Friday night against Paul London. Now, get out of here... ------------------- John Morrison and Tommy Dreamer v Kevin Thorn and Mike Knox Knox and Morrison get the match under way, with the dangerous Knox quickly gaining the advantage, driving Morrison to the corner and hitting elbows to the head and knees to the gut, before a hard Irish whip sends Morrison crashing into the opposite corner. Knox charges in, but Morrison gets the boot up, before going to the second rope and hitting a flying clothesline. Dreamer now gets the tag, and the veteran strikes with right hands and boots, but when Dreamer goes for a bulldog, Knox is able to counter into a back suplex. Thorn now comes in, and he looks to punish Dreamer, hitting backbreakers, scoop slams and a gutbuster. Thorn and Knox then go for double team moves, sending Dreamer off the ropes and hitting a double flapjack, before Thorn whips Dreamer in and Knox hits the bicycle kick for a 2 count. Knox sends Dreamer to the corner, but when he goes for a big boot, Dreamer avoids it, leaving Knox hung up. Dreamer then puts him in position, charges in... tree of woe dropkick! Both men crawl to their corners and make tags, bringing Morrison and Thorn into the ring. Morrison ducks a clothesline and nails an enziguri, before dropping Knox with a Russian legsweep and then hitting the split legged corkscrew moonsault for a 2 count. Dreamer and Knox are now both back up, and the match descends into a four man brawl, until Knox sends Dreamer over the top rope. Knox then charges at Morrison, but his big boot nails Thorn by mistake, allowing Morrison to take advantage with the moonlight drive! 1... 2... 3! I went to Wrestlemania and won the title, I got turned on by a guy I thought was my best friend, and then I took on Smackdown’s best and won. And this Sunday... I get my reward. I like Kurt Angle, I got a lot of respect for him... but this Sunday ain’t about respect... this Sunday’s about the championship. I want the ECW Title back... and I’m gonna do whatever it takes to win. ------------------- Umaga v Colt Cabana The undefeated Colt Cabana puts his streak on the line again, this time against the Samoan bulldozer Umaga. As you would expect, Umaga starts the match strongly, overpowering Cabana, sending him off the ropes and knocking him down with shoulderblocks and clotheslines. Cabana tries to quicken the pace, running the ropes and avoiding Umaga’s offense... until he runs right into a heel kick. Cabana crashes to the mat, leading to Umaga coming off the ropes for the splash... but he misses! Now Colt looks to attack, hitting a legdrop and a standing moonsault, but when climbs to the top rope and goes for a crossbody, Umaga catches him and turns it into a spinning side slam. Again the Samoan bulldozer dominates, climbing to the second rope and nailing a diving headbutt for a 2 count, before looking to wear Cabana down with a nerve hold. Cabana fight back to his feet and breaks the hold, but when he tries to send Umaga to the corner, Umaga reverses... and follows in with a splash. This causes Colt to fall down, head perched on the bottom turnbuckle, leading to Umaga steadying himself and charging... oh! The Samoan wrecking ball connects, as Colt’s head snaps back. With Cabana looking out cold, Umaga drags him to his feet, and has Cabana lined up for... Styles: Umaga... he’s going to go for... Tazz: Here comes the Samoan spike... Styles: Here it... oh! Tazz: What the hell? Styles: The ring... it’s on fire again! Just like last week, there’s flames coming out of the four corners of the ring! Tazz: And the lights in the arena have gone out, all we’ve got is a red glow everywhere. Styles: Look at Umaga and Estrada. They’re looking all around... Tazz: Is Kane here? Can you see him anywhere? Styles: No I can’t but... well finally the lights are back, the flames are out... Tazz: Hey! Cabana with a roll-up... Styles: 1... 2... 3! He did it! Very inspiring. Foley: Well I thought it was great. Some of my best work actually. JBL: I’ve heard better. Anyway, I want to talk to you about something. I know we both agreed early on that we wouldn’t have our champions in the match at Survivor Series. Foley: Right. The titles are being defended. JBL: Exactly. Well... since I want to prove once and for all how dominant Smackdown is... I have a little challenge for you. This Friday night, the Smackdown champion CM Punk one on one with the ECW Champion... uh... who is it again? Foley: You damn well know it’s Kurt Angle! JBL: Oh yeah, yeah... the guy with the broken neck, of course. Makes sense for ECW to have a champion like that. Foley: You better watch your mouth JBL... JBL: Alright, alright... anyway. This Friday night, Punk again Angle. What do you say? Foley: You think I’m going to let my champion walk into your show just days before he defends the title? No way. I’m already sending Kendrick in there with only Rodimer for back-up, no way I’m sending Kurt in there too. JBL: Hell I don’t care. Bring back-up with you! Bring your whole damn Survivor Series team with you. As long as I get Punk and Angle in the ring, and my boy proves Smackdown is better, I’m happy. Foley: Well how about this? In the interest of fairness, and to make sure nobody gets hurt... why don’t we make it a lumberjack match? Your team at ringside, my team at ringside. JBL: Alright Foley... I like the sounds of that. Now uh... I’m heading up to my executive box to watch Bobby Lashley tear your champion apart. See you Friday Foley... ------------------ ECW v Smackdown Kurt Angle v Bobby Lashley The hired gun Bobby Lashley makes his way into the land of extreme, as he steps into the ring with ECW Champion Kurt Angle, with both general managers looking on intently. With both men coming from an amateur wrestling background, the opening exchanges are dominated with waistlocks and takedowns, as neither man can gain a hold on the match. Reversals and counters out of armbars and leglocks follow, until an attempted ankle lock from Angle sends Lashley sprawling for the ropes. The two again tie up, but this time Lashley takes control, slamming Angle to the mat and then dropping an elbow. Lashley then goes for a German suplex, but Angle counters, hitting a bridging German of his own for a 2 count. The match continues to swing back and forth, with Lashley hitting a belly-to-belly and Angle firing back with a series of uppercuts in the corner. His Irish whip is reversed, but when Angle goes for a leapfrog in the corner, Lashley catches him and turns it into a running powerslam for a 2 count. Lashley looks to really turn on the power, hitting a backbreaker, a fallaway slam and an overhead belly-to-belly suplex, but all Lashley can get is a 2 count. Lashley drags Angle back to his feet, before he can mount any offense, Angle rocks him with an Angle slam out of nowhere! Both men are down though, and it takes Kurt a long time to crawl over and make the cover... 1... 2... Lashley gets the shoulder up. Now Angle looks to build momentum, hitting a release German before climbing to the top rope for... a moonsault! Angle nails it, and he quickly hooks the leg... 1... 2... Lashley gets the shoulder up! Angle can’t believe it, but he gets to his feet and he soon has Lashley lined up again... Angle slam... no! Lashley lands on his feet and nails Angle with a hard clothesline to the back of the head. Angle is dazed, and as he staggers back to his feet, Lashley is ready... dominator... no! This time it’s Angle who lands on his feet... Angle slam! Angle slam! This time Angle quickly goes for the cover... 1... 2... 3! Kurt Angle beat Bobby Lashley (A) Styles: Kurt Angle has done it! Tazz: ECW is riding high again! Hello everyone, I’m Michael Cole, my colleague is Jonathan Coachman, welcome to Smackdown. Tonight, we have champion versus champion, as the World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk takes on the ECW Champion Kurt Angle in a lumberjack match. Coach: And while so far I have been far from impressed with CM Punk as our champion, he has a chance tonight to impress me and JBL by beating Kurt Angle. And if any of these ECW lumberjacks want to come in here and start the fight early, I’m sure Team Smackdown will be ready. Cole: Also tonight, the Cruiserweight Championship is on the line, as Smackdown’s Paul London takes on the champion, ECW’s The Brian Kendrick... Coach: And don’t forget, JBL’s huge new signing, the fifth member of Team Smackdown is set to be revealed tonight! I can’t wait for that... Cole: Well speaking of JBL, here comes our general manager now. JBL is making his way down to the ring. Coach: Is this it? Is this when we find out who the fifth member is? JBL: This Sunday... I lead my team... my brand... Smackdown into battle. At the Survivor Series... we will be victorious. We will beat ECW. I guarantee victory. And to ensure victory... I am willing to up the stakes for my team. Big Show... Rey Mysterio... Bobby Lashley... Edge... and my new signing, who will be here tonight... I am willing to offer you all a little incentive to ensure victory. Whoever on my team survives and gains victory for Smackdown... be it one man, two men or hell even all five of you... whoever survives... will get a guaranteed title shot at Armageddon! Cole: Wow! What an incentive for the members of Team Smackdown. Get the job done, and you get a title shot at Armageddon! Coach: So in theory we could wind up with five number one contenders? Cole: In theory yeah... JBL: I don’t care who wins this Sunday between CM Punk and MVP in the cage match... the winner will face the survivors of my team this Sunday. And tonight... Punk... I don’t like the fact you’re my champion... but you better get the job done tonight against Kurt Angle. If you want to have any chance of impressing my Punk... you better win tonight. And to the members of my team... you better win this Sunday... or else things are going to get very uncomfortable for a lot of people around here. Cole: Well... an interesting pep talk from the general manager. Coach: JBL has laid down the law to his team. I hope the five guys who are going to represent us were listening. This is a war, and we’ve got to win it! -------------------- Matt Hardy v Jamie Noble We kick things off with the United States Champion Matt Hardy taking on Jamie Noble. The match starts at a fast pace, with Hardy sending Noble off the ropes and to the corner on numerous occasions, hitting clotheslines and back body drops. Right hands drive Noble back to the corner, with Hardy coming out with a bulldog for an early 2 count. Noble catches Hardy with a knee to the gut when both men get back up, and he manages to follow that with a German suplex and a swinging neckbreaker before locking on a seated chinlock. Noble tries to wear Hardy down, but the champion fights back to his feet, taking Noble down with a side suplex and then dropping the elbow. The match swings back and forth as Hardy hits the side effect but misses with a legdrop from the second rope. Noble moves quickly to lock on a cross armbar, wrenching back on Hardy’s shoulder. The champion stretches for the ropes, but on several tries he comes up short. Eventually Hardy is able to counter into a pinfall for a 2 count, and as both men get back to their feet, Hardy strikes with the side effect for another 2 count. Noble is stunned, and Hardy drives him to the corner with right hands, before sending him across with an Irish whip and following in with a clothesline, but as he goes for the bulldog, Noble counters, sending Hardy to the corner... but as Noble charges in Hardy gets the elbow up... again Noble charges in... this time he runs into a boot. Hardy goes for a clothesline, but Noble ducks... and Noble goes for a clothesline... but Hardy ducks... twist of fate! Hardy nails the twist of fate, and he hooks the leg... 1... 2... 3. I mean, you suspend me for losing to Shelton Benjamin, then all of a sudden I’m back? JBL: That’s right. You’re back because I want you on my team. But I am warning you, anymore screw ups from you, and you and me are going to have some problems. Edge: Problems? You want to know what my problems are right now? The fact that my brand was nowhere to be found when I was getting beat on by a bunch ECW guys. The fact that you suspended me, the fact you’ve been punishing Hawkins and Ryder... JBL: Quit your whining! I didn’t bring you back to hear this! I brought you back to lead Team Smackdown to victory! I brought you back ‘cause I know you, more than anybody, wants to beat ECW! Edge: Well yeah I guess... JBL: Exactly! Now... JBL’s cell phone begins to ring... JBL: Hang on a second... hello? Yeah... well where are you? You’re running late! This is not a good way to start things on my show... alright... sure... you better make it by the end of the show... alright good... I’ll see you then. Edge: Who was that? JBL: That Edge was my new signing. Edge: Oh yeah, the guy you’ve drooling over for weeks now. So who is he? JBL: Haha... oh... you’ll find out soon enough... --------------------- Smackdown v ECW The Empire v Balls Mahoney and Stevie Richards Smackdown and ECW collide for the first time tonight, as Paul Burchill and Drew McIntyre, accompanied as always by William Regal and Katie Lea, take on ECW originals Balls Mahoney and Stevie Richards. Richards and Burchill start, evoking memories of when Burchill wrestled on ECW, and much like those days, Burchill quickly gains the advantage, taking Richards down with a shoulderblock and following with a backbreaker and a series of stomps. Burchill sends Richards to the corner, but he misses with a clothesline, allowing Richards to hit a snap suplex and tag in Mahoney. Balls comes into the ring teeing off on Burchill with left hands, but as Balls winds up for the big right, Burchill hits a knee to the gut and a clothesline before tagging in McIntyre. McIntyre and Burchill spend the next few minutes focusing in on Balls, with McIntyre hitting a dropkick and a neckbreaker and Burchill hitting a belly-to-belly suplex and a fireman’s carry, with several 2 counts. McIntyre then locks on a sleeper, and just as it looks like Mahoney is fading, he nails Drew with a jawbreaker and tags in Richards. Stevie comes into the ring dropping both Burchill and McIntyre with clotheslines and right hands, before catching McIntyre with a double underhook DDT... 1... 2... Burchill makes the save, but he’s quickly sent over the top rope by Mahoney, who follows him out. Now McIntyre is in trouble, and as he staggers to his feet, Stevie is ready... Stevie-kick! Richards nails McIntyre and goes for the cover... but Katie Lea is on the apron distracting the ref! While this is going on, Regal slips into the ring, and with brass knucks in hand, he rocks Richards across the jaw. McIntyre crawls over for the cover, and with Mahoney nailed by a jumping neckbreaker on the floor, the referee finally turns around... 1... 2... 3. There’s nobody going to save you this Sunday. You stole that title from me at Cyber Sunday, and I want it back. This Sunday, I will take back what’s rightfully mine, and nobody is gonna stop me. And I hope Kurt Angle teaches you a lesson tonight... but it’s gonna be nothing compared to what I’m gonna do to you in that cage. -------------------- Once again, we return to the dimly lit gym. We see the man from the videos of recent weeks again in action, grappling, almost sparring with various other wrestlers, executing a series of takedowns and submission holds, making light work of the competition. An old man, who appears to be a corner man or trainer of sorts comes into the light, a smile on his face. He looks at our subject, takes one last puff of his cigarette and says... “I think you’re ready.” Though the lack light stops us from seeing his face, we are able to make out the wrestler smiling and nodding his head, as the screen fades to black and this message appears... ------------------ Billy Kidman v Val Venis After picking up his first win in a long time last week, Val Venis is back on Smackdown this week taking on Billy Kidman. The match starts with both men trying to use their strengths, as Venis uses his size advantage, slamming Kidman to the mat and dropping the elbow, but Kidman uses his speed to fire back, running the ropes and catching Kidman with a neckbreaker and a dropkick. Kidman goes for a springboard crossbody, but Val catches him, hitting an atomic drop, following with a Russian legsweep for a 2 count. The match spills to the floor with Val being driven into the barricade, while back in the ring Kidman targets Val’s spine, driving the knee before nailing Val with a sitout facebuster for a 2 count. Kidman then looks to come off the ropes, but Val counters with a spinning spinebuster, before climbing to the top rope, steadying himself for... the money shot... but Kidman pushes the referee into the ropes out of desperation. Val has an uncomfortable landing on the top turnbuckle, leading to Kidman also climbing the ropes, looking to hit... a frankensteiner... but Val pushes Kidman to the mat, and again he steadies himself... money shot! Val connects and goes for the cover... 1... 2... 3! JBL: That’s right. And the outcome of this transaction... is that next week, you will defend that United States Championship against Ted DiBiase. You understand me? Hardy: Oh I understand. I understand that there’s something corrupt going on here. DiBiase: Hey, Hardy. You gotta understand something... everybody’s got a price... and that includes you. Hardy: I don’t think so. You’re new around here, so I’ll spell it out for you. I worked hard for over 10 years to finally win a championship of my own, and now I’ve got it back, I’m not giving it up to you, be it in the ring... or any other way. DiBiase: We’ll see next week... -------------------- Cole: Welcome back to Smackdown folks. So much still to come tonight, but right now, the Cruiserweight Championship is on the line. We’ve got The Brian Kendrick, the champion, and the challenger Paul London already in the ring. Coach: And Kendrick has his bodyguard... Cole: I believe he prefers the term business associate. Kendrick felt calling him a bodyguard was a bit of a cliché. Coach: Whatever he wants to be called, Rodimer is in the ring, but JBL has promised to give London someone in his corner to even things out. Cole: Well who’s it gonna be? WELL IT’S THE BIG SHOW Cole: What?! An enziguri nails Kendrick, but before London can go for the cover, Rodimer pulls Kendrick out of the ring and the two begin to head for the exit... until Big Show positions himself at the bottom of the ramp, blocking their way. Kendrick and Rodimer consider taking him on, but they decided against it, turning back towards the ring and seeing London running the ropes... suicide dive takes down both of them! London rolls Kendrick back into the ring, and he continues his attack with a hurricanrana and a tornado DDT for a 2 count. Kendrick backs off to the corner, and as London looks to stay on the attack, Kendrick catches him with a low blow behind the referee’s back. Kendrick now stomps away before coming off the ropes with a flying forearm and then hitting a springboard back elbow for a 2 count, then locking on a chinlock and hitting a series of forearms to the face. Kendrick then sends London to the floor, and with the ref distracted, Rodimer drives London into the ringpost before Show can get over for the save. Back in the ring, Kendrick gets a 2 count from a tornado DDT, and with frustration setting in, he drags London to his feet and goes for The Kendrick... but London pushes Kendrick face first into the turnbuckle, before taking Kendrick down with a victory roll for a 2 count. London looks to build momentum, nailing another enziguri, but his northern lights suplex is countered into a big DDT... 1... 2... London kicks out! Kendrick is furious, and as he gets in the referee’s face, Rodimer grabs the Cruiserweight Title and slides it into the ring, before getting up on the apron. With the ref distracted by Rodimer, Kendrick lines London up for a belt shot... but Big Show reaches in and grabs the belt, stopping Kendrick from using it. As Kendrick tries to grab it back, London drops him with a Russian legsweep, before climbing to the top rope. Meanwhile, Rodimer comes from behind and drops Big Show with a chop block, which again grabs the referee’s attention. The Crusierweight Title winds up resting on the apron, allowing Kendrick to grab it as London goes for... a 450 splash... right onto the title! London takes the belt to the skull and is out cold, and when the referee finally turns around, the belt is nowhere to be seen and Kendrick is on top of London... 1... 2... 3. And Mick, I know tonight you’re here due to the various Smackdown versus ECW matches, but I was just wondering what your thoughts are on the battle of the brands match this Sunday at Survivor Series? Foley: Uh... well... part of me is really looking forward to it. There’s a lot of great wrestlers involved, it should be a hell of a match. I really do think that although we at ECW are going into this the underdogs, we’ve got a hell of chance to win the match. On the other hand, I don’t even want to think about what JBL’s going to be like if Smackdown win. I mean, he’s bad enough at the best of times, but this could make his head explode. But I hope the best team comes out on top and we finally end this thing... and I’m confident it’ll end in ECW’s favour. -------------------- Montel Vontavious Porter v Matt Sydal This Sunday’s challenger, the former World Heavyweight Champion MVP is in action against the ever impressive Matt Sydal. MVP sets his stall out early, driving Sydal to the corner from the first tie-up and hitting Sydal with a cheap shot as the ref calls for the break. Again the two tie-up, but this time Sydal takes MVP down with an armdrag, before quickening the pace with a headscissors takedown and a roundhouse kick. MVP backs off to the corner, but Sydal follows him in with a dropkick, before an Irish whip sends MVP across... but MVP reverses, but Sydal quickly jumps to the top rope.... double knee drop! 1... 2... almost an upset. Sydal looks to stay on the attack, but MVP catches him with in an overhead belly-to-belly suplex. MVP then locks on a facelock and drives the knee into Sydal’s face, before dropping him with a snap suplex and hitting the ballin’ elbow for a 2 count. Sydal is slow to get back up, and MVP is already ready to hit the drive by kick... but Sydal manages to avoid the contact, before taking MVP down with a hurricanrana and then an enziguri for a long 2 count. Sydal and MVP trade hands, until Sydal hits three in a row and drops MVP with another enziguri. Sydal then quickly climbs to the top rope, and with MVP in position, Sydal goes for... the shooting star press... but MVP rolls out of the way! Sydal crashes to the mat, and this time MVP makes no mistake... drive by kick! MVP connects, hooks the leg... 1... 2... 3... and goes into Survivor Series with a win. Added to this is the fact that the ring is surrounded by the participants of this Sunday’s Survivor Series match, with Mysterio, Lashley, Edge and Big Show on one side, while Dreamer, Morrison, Cabana, Umaga and Kendrick, who is staying well away from Big Show, on the other. The match starts with both men locking up, with Angle gaining an early advantage with a belly-to-back takedown and a reverse chinlock. Punk fights his way out and starts hitting kicks to the head, using chops to the chest to drive Angle to the corner before charging in with a knee to the head... but Angle ducks and elevates Punk over the top rope to the floor, landing at the feet of Bobby Lashley. Punk and Lashley get in each other’s faces, until Big Show and Mysterio play peacemaker, allowing Punk to get back into the ring. Angle now goes to work, hitting an overhead belly-to-belly, a series of uppercuts, but when he looks to clothesline Punk over the top rope, this time it’s Punk who sends Angle over the top rope... landing at the feet of Umaga. Umaga squares up to Angle, and before the rest of Team ECW can get there, the two start trading right hands. Eventually Morrison, Dreamer and Cabana sort things out, and Angle returns to the ring, but he walks right into a step-up enziguri for a 2 count. The match goes back and forth as Punk hits a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker, while Angle hits back with a release German suplex. Punk fires back with a spinning wheel kick, which sends Angle rolling under the bottom rope... right infront of Team Smackdown. This prompts Team ECW to race round to that side of the ring, and a standoff ensues, with Angle stuck firmly in the middle. Angle doesn’t know where to turn, but Punk looks to take advantage, going to the top rope... and flying off with a moonsault, taking down several superstars. This leads to several guys from each team getting in each other’s faces, which inevitably leads to right hands being traded, with Punk and Angle not holding back either. The referee tries his best to regain control, but it’s a pointless exercise, as the match quickly descends to chaos and the referee has no choice but to call for the bell. 1... 2... 3. MVP. And MVP, this Sunday when you step into the cage with CM Punk... MVP: When I step into the cage this Sunday... there’s nowhere you to run Punk. 1... 2... 3! JBL: Yes Hardy I did. You see myself and young Mr DiBiase here have been having a little chat. And let’s just say a certain business transaction was made. Hardy: Business transaction? Coach: Well that’s certainly going to balance things out isn’t it? Cole: Look at the looks on Kendrick’s face! He can’t believe this... Cruiserweight Championship Match ECW v Smackdown The Brian Kendrick (C) v Paul London The presence of the Big Show at ringside certainly takes away the threat of Rodimer, and it seems to be having an effect on London too, as he starts the match full of confidence, attacking with a fury and dropping Kendrick with dropkicks, crossbodys and headscissors. Cole and Coach begin to question why the limo is there, and who could be inside, until JBL steps out... Cole: What on earth was JBL doing in that limo? Who was he talking to in there? Coach: It’s the fifth man! It’s gotta be! Cole: Yeah but who is it? ------------------- Lumberjack Match Smackdown v ECW CM Punk v Kurt Angle The World Heavyweight and ECW champions meet tonight, and while Punk and Angle have no rivalry with each other, this promises to be an intense match as each man looks to uphold the pride of their brand. Melina v Beth Phoenix Although Melina is awesome I see a change for the Women's title Team Smackdown v Team ECW I think everyone on the ECW team being elimanted 'cept for Colt who will win it for is team or so I hope as he's my favorite wrestler in the diary suprisingly! Kurt Angle v Shelton Benjamin I see this being MOTN and I love how mportant you've made the Shelton Team Revolution v Team Long I think this will lead to a McMahon Power Stuggle! CM Punk v Montel Vontavious Porter CM Punk just recently won the title so I think that the World Title should be kept on him Jeff Hardy v Randy Orton My second favorite heel at the moment and deserves to have the WWE title around his waist.

Cole: Welcome everybody to the sold out TD Banknorth Garden in Boston, MA! Welcome to the 22nd annual Survivor Series! Hello everyone, I’m Michael Cole, my partner here at the Smackdown announce desk as always is Jonathan Coachman, and Coach, what a huge night this is going to be! Coach: You’re absolutely right. Tonight, CM Punk defends the World Heavyweight Championship against MVP in a steel cage match, plus, the battle of the brands comes to a conclusion, as Team Smackdown, with huge new signing Christian in its ranks, takes on Team ECW. Cole: It shocked us all Friday night when Christian was revealed as the fifth member of Team Smackdown, and I’m sure it shocked the guys over on ECW, Joey Styles and Tazz. Styles: Thanks Michael. Well, it certainly was a shock to see Christian back in the WWE, the fifth member of Team Smackdown. Tazz: Well obviously Christian is a hell of a wrestler, and JBL had pulled a huge signing by grabbing him for Smackdown, but I still believe in our guys. I still think ECW can do it, I still pick us to win the battle of the brands. Styles: Also tonight, the ECW Championship is on the line in what could be a classic, as Kurt Angle defends the gold against the gold standard Shelton Benjamin. Tazz: It’s going to be a hell of a match, one that could go either way. I can’t for that and I can’t wait for the battle of the brands. Styles: Well let’s throw it over to the neutrals in all this, the Raw announce team. Hall of famers Jim Ross and Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler. JR: Thanks Joey. Well, over here on Raw, we’ve got a big night in store as well. King: Boy you’re not kiddin’! Jeff Hardy defends the WWE Championship against the legend killer Randy Orton, and remember Jeff is going to have the nature boy, Ric Flair in his corner. What a match that’s going to be. JR: Also tonight, the general manager’s position here on Raw is on the line, as the co-general managers Shane McMahon and Teddy Long send their teams into battle. King: Well Team Revolution against Team Long is so important for the future of our shot, but JR, we don’t know if Team Long is going to have all five guys out there after what happened to The Undertaker last Monday night. JR: The Undertaker hasn’t been seen all week long, there was exclusive footage on wwe.com, showing you what happened after we went off the air last week. The casket that The Undertaker was trapped inside was pushed off the stage by Shane McMahon and Triple H. When that casket was finally opened after we went off the air Monday night, the casket was empty and The Undertaker had vanished. King: Right and nobody has seen or heard from The Undertaker since then. We understand Teddy Long has been leaving messages on Batista’s answering machine all week, begging the Animal to turn up tonight and be the fifth man, but so far there’s been no response from Batista. JR: We have a camera positioned in the parking lot in case Batista does turn up, we’ll let you know if it happens... but we’re kicking things off tonight with the Women’s Championship on the line, as the champion Melina puts defends her title against the Glamazon Beth Phoenix... Melina (C) v Beth Phoenix A rivalry that has been brooding for months now finally comes to a head, as Melina and Beth Phoenix finally step into the ring with the gold on the line. The intensity of the match is shown the second the bell rings, with the champion going eye-to-eye with the challenger straight away, leading to Melina giving Beth a shove to the ropes... only for Beth to bounce off and rock Melina with a forearm. More forearms follow as Beth makes a strong start, before she sends Melina off the ropes and hits a clothesline. More clotheslines and a sidewalk slam take Melina down again, and after Beth gets a 2 count, the challenger again sends the champion off the ropes... but Melina ducks her clothesline attempt and grabs a handful of hair, slamming Beth hard to the mat. Melina again grabs the hair for a curb stomp, before locking on a bow and arrow stretch, with the champion wrenching back on Beth’s neck, causing the challenger to cry out in agony. Several times the referee asks Beth if she wants to quit, but she responds with an emphatic no each time. Slowly but surely, Beth manages to claw her way towards the ropes, reaching out to grab them, breaking the hold. Melina has the advantage now though, and she looks to push it home, driving Beth to the corner and choking her with her foot, before sending Beth across the ring and following in with a clothesline... but Phoenix ducks, and she catches Melina with a neckbreaker out of the corner. A suplex and a backbreaker follow, but when Beth goes for a gutwrench backbreaker rack, Melina slips down the back... and nails her split legged neckbreaker! 1... 2... Melina lets out a cry of frustration as Beth hangs in there! The champion is in enraged, and after a pair of kicks to the face, Melina connects with the legdrop bulldog... 1... 2... again Beth holds on! Melina slithers over to the corner, and she waits for Beth to get back up. When Beth eventually does, Melina charges in for... the spinning facebuster... but Beth catches her and counters with a sideslam, leaving both divas down. The referee begins to count, and he makes it to 7 before either of them shows signs of getting back up. Both women do make it back up before the count, but the exhaustion is clear, as the match briefly turns into a slugfest. Beth hits a series of forearms, driving Melina to the ropes and going for an Irish whip... but Melina stops herself before Beth can hit the back body drop, and the champion goes for... the last call... no! Beth counters, sending Melina through the air and crashing to the mat, and as the champion gets back to her feet, Beth is waiting with a kick to the gut and... the glam slam! The challenger connects, and she rolls Melina over for the cover... 1... 2... 3! We’ve got a new Women’s Champion! Beth Phoenix beat Melina to become the new Women’s Champion (B) ------------------ Backstage, two “brothers” reunite for the first time in three years... Edge: So... uh... you’re back then? Christian: Yeah, yeah I’m back. Edge: So... where you been? Christian: Oh you know... here and there. I spent a little time down in Florida. Edge: Oh yeah? What’s down there? Christian: Nothing much really. Kurt was down there for a while too. Edge: Huh... who knew? Anyway, now that you’re back, I think you ought to know a few things. You see, I understand JBL signed you to Smackdown... but Smackdown... that’s my show. OK? Christian: Oh really? Edge: Yeah. I mean... obviously some things have changed since you’ve been away... but at the same time, some things never change. Christian: What do you mean by that? Edge: Well... you and we, we were the greatest tag team this industry’s ever seen. But we were young back then. Look at us now... the two of us, together... we could rule this company by working together. Christian: You know what? You’re right. We could rule this company by working together... Edge: Yes! I knew you’d see it my way... Christian: But we’re not going to work together. See, I learned a thing or two while I’ve been away... and the biggest one is to not trust anyone. Even a guy who you consider your best friend can turn his back on you... and I’m not going to let it happen again. We’ll be on the same page tonight... but after that... it’s every man for himself brother. ----------------- We then cut to the Team Long locker room, as the co-general manager tries to rally his troops... Teddy: Alright playas, I know things ain’t been all that great for us lately... Jericho: That’s an understatement... Teddy: But I believe in you guys. No matter what Revolution wants to throw at us, I know you playas can get the job done tonight. Michaels: Yeah but Teddy... there’s only four of us. I mean, where’s Taker? Teddy: Well... they opened up that casket Monday night and they couldn’t find him anywhere. He’d vanished. Cena: So what about Batista? Kennedy: Yeah Teddy you heard from him? Teddy: No. I been trying to reach him for days now. I tried his home, I tried his cell, I tried everything I could to get in touch with him. Nothing. Jericho: So what, we go in with four guys? Michaels: Looks like we’ll have to. Cena: We can do it with four. We can still win this thing with four guys. I don’t know about you guys, but I’m not going to just lay down and quit here. I’m going to fight with all I got to make sure we kick Shane McMahon’s ass off our show! Teddy: That’s what I’m talking about playa! That’s what I need from all of you! Now, rest up, get ready... it’s gonna be a huge night for all of you... -------------------- Team Smackdown v Team ECW Big Show, Bobby Lashley, Christian, Edge and Rey Mysterio v Colt Cabana, John Morrison, The Brian Kendrick, Tommy Dreamer and Umaga A match brought about to due a personal rivalry between JBL and Mick Foley, Team Smackdown and Team ECW step into the ring, but the tension on both teams is evident, with rivalries and a lack of trust existing between team-mates. The match starts with Bobby Lashley and Tommy Dreamer, but not only is the action in the ring going to fierce, the talk between the commentators threatens to spill over after Tazz takes exception to Coach’s insults. Lashley drives Dreamer to the corner from the first tie-up, hitting clubbing rights and lefts, before sending Dreamer across and charging in... but Dreamer gets a boot up, before taking Lashley to the corner and unloading with chops to the chest and tagging in The Kendrick. Kendrick jumps into the ring, but he quickly realises the size of the task ahead of him, and it doesn’t take long for Lashley to overpower him, sending Kendrick flying with a release German suplex before dropping him with a military press slam before tagging in Rey Mysterio. The pace of the match quickens instantly, as Mysterio and Kendrick fly around the ring, with headscissors, hurricanranas and a springboard crossbody sending the Cruiserweight champion repeatedly down to the mat. Kendrick manages to catch Mysterio with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker, but it doesn’t slow down Mysterio, as he fires back with a bulldog and a dropkick that hangs Kendrick up on the second rope... here comes Mysterio... 619... no! Umaga nails Mysterio with the Samoan spike as he swings through the ropes! Mysterio is down, and Kendrick crawls on top of him... 1... 2... 3! Unbelievably, Rey Mysterio is eliminated! Team ECW takes the lead, but the action continues, as Christian quickly jumps into the ring, hitting Kendrick with right hands, sending Kendrick off the ropes and nailing a dropkick. Kendrick scrambles for his corner, tagging in Morrison, and he takes the fight to Christian, with a slugfest ensuing, until Morrison ducks a clothesline and hits a Russian legsweep, following it up with the split-legged corkscrew moonsault for a 2 count. Morrison tags in fellow tag team champion Tommy Dreamer, and the ECW Original starts teeing off on Christian, before dropping him with a pumphandle slam and an inverted DDT. Dreamer then sends Christian to the corner, but Christian avoids Dreamer’s clothesline, and as Dreamer staggers out, Christian is ready... unprettier! Christian drops Dreamer, hooks the leg... 1... 2... 3! Tommy Dreamer is eliminated. Kendrick is quick to come back into the ring... just as Christian tags in the Big Show! The sight of Show stops Kendrick in his tracks, and with the actions of Friday night still in his mind, Big Show grabs Kendrick and tosses him to the corner, before landing big elbows and chops to the chest. Kendrick staggers out and tries to make a tag... but his team seem rather reluctant, leaving Kendrick to face the music. He turns with a terrified look on his face... right into the right hand of the Big Show... chokeslam! Big Show nails Kendrick with a chokeslam, and he goes for the cover... 1... 2... 3! The Brian Kendrick is eliminated, handing Team Smackdown the advantage. Umaga immediately steps into the ring, and the two monsters eye each other up, until the right hands start to flow. Show naturally gains the advantage, but when he sends Umaga to the corner, the Samoan flies back out... flying shoulderblock! Umaga manages to take Big Show down, and then takes shots at Edge, Christian and Lashley, before turning round... Samoan spike... no! Big Show blocks it... but here comes Morrison and Colt, and it’s quickly 3 on 1! Morrison and Cabana do some damage, but Big Show swats them away... Samoan spike! This time Umaga does connect, but it only drops Show to his knees... dropkick from Cabana takes him down... split legged corkscrew moonsault from Morrison... and Umaga is climbing to the top rope! The Samoan steadies himself... flying headbutt! Umaga goes for the cover, and Morrison and Cabana jump on to add their weight... 1... 2... 3! It takes all three members of Team ECW to do it, but Big Show is eliminated. We’re back to 3 on 3, and here comes Lashley back in, taking the fight to Umaga, hitting clubbing blows and sending Umaga off the ropes... reversal... Samoan drop! Umaga is on fire as he nails the Samoan drop, and he goes to his corner to tag in Morrison. Morrison charges in with the spinning legdrop, before driving Lashley to the corner, hitting kicks to the gut and connecting with a step-up enziguri. Lashley answers back though, as he hits an overhead belly-to-belly, before Edge is tagged in. Edge pounds on Morrison with forearms, sending him off the ropes and dropping him with a flapjack and a Russian legsweep before crouching in the corner and motioning for Morrison to get up. Just as it looks like Edge is going for the kill... Lashley tags himself back in. Out to prove himself to JBL, it seems the hired gun Lashley wants to end Morrison himself. Lashley comes in and scoops Morrison onto his shoulder, looking for a running powerslam... but Morrison slides down the back, sending Lashley into the turnbuckle, and when he staggers out, Morrison is waiting... moonlight drive! Morrison nails Lashley, hooks the leg... 1... 2... 3! Bobby Lashley is eliminated and ECW once again takes control, with Christian and Umaga entering the ring. Umaga charges straight at Christian, but he moves, seeing Umaga crash into the corner. Right hands and kicks to the gut follow, but as Christian goes for the unprettier, Umaga pushes Christian off the ropes... Christian ducks a clothesline, but Edge makes the blind tag... Umaga nails Christian with a Samoan drop... but Edge is in the ring... spear! Spear! A spear to Umaga, and Edge goes for the cover... 1... 2... 3! Umaga is eliminated by Edge, but as John Morrison enters the ring, Umaga snaps... Tazz: What the hell?! Cole: Oh! Samoan spike to Morrison! Samoan spike to Edge! Styles: Umaga has gone crazy here! Coach: What the hell is wrong with this guy?! Cole: Here comes Christian and Cabana... Styles: Oh my God! Double Samoan drop to both Christian and Cabana! Umaga has just laid out everybody left in the match! Tazz: Yeah and he was doing good for us too. Cole: Finally Umaga is out of the ring and heading up the ramp. Coach: Yeah but he’s left carnage in the ring. Cole: The match is tied up again and... Styles: Oh! Coach: What the hell?! Tazz: It’s Kane! It’s Kane! He’s come for Umaga! Cole: Kane, who’s been through so much in the last few months, nailing Umaga with boots and right hands! Coach: What is the meaning of this? Kane’s not in this match... Tazz: Neither is Umaga anymore. Styles: This is nothing but a street fight as Kane and Umaga battle their way to the back... Cole: Wait... look in the ring! Coach: Edge has a cover on Morrison... Styles: 1... 2... 3! Tazz: God I don’t believe it! John Morrison is eliminated, and it’s all thanks to Umaga. Cole: And now we’re down to 2 on 1. Edge and Christian for Smackdown, Colt Cabana for ECW. Styles: It does not look good for us right now. Cole: Cabana is still down from that Samoan spike, and he’s slowly getting back to his feet... Tazz: Here comes Christian... Coach: Unprettier! Cole: Spear! Styles: Oh my God! Cole: Edge just speared Christian! Tazz: What the hell?! Coach: What the hell is Edge doing?! Cole: Edge just speared Christian... and he drags Colt Cabana on top of Christian... 1... 2... 3! Tazz: You gotta be kiddin’ me! Christian is eliminated! Cole: Edge has just kicked Christian out of this match! Remember, JBL has offered a title shot to whoever survives for Team Smackdown. Edge must want that title shot all for himself. Coach: Yeah but... Tazz: You’re speechless aren’t you Coach? Coach: I... I... Styles: I think we all are. Umaga laid everybody out, Kane returned, Edge just nailed Christian... and now the Rated-R superstar is crouched in the corner. Edge is going to spear Colt Cabana. Cole: And he’s going to win the match for Smackdown! Tazz: Here he comes... Styles: No! Leapfrog from Cabana! Edge goes into the ringpost! Cole: Cabana with the roll-up... Tazz: 1... 2... Coach: No! Styles: 3! Oh my God! Oh my God! Colt Cabana has done it! Colt Cabana has won it for ECW! Team ECW beat Team Smackdown, Colt Cabana was the sole survivor (A*) Cole: And I think it’s setting in on Edge! He can’t believe how badly that backfired on him! Coach: God... JBL is gonna kill him for this! Tazz: I love it! Colt Cabana keeps his undefeated streak alive by winning the battle of the brands for ECW! ------------------ Backstage, Maria is standing by with... Maria: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time, he is the challenge for the WWE Championship... the legend killer, Randy Orton! And Randy, tonight you face Jeff Hardy for the WWE Title. Do you think you can beat Jeff tonight and win back the title, even though Jeff is going to have Ric Flair in his corner? Orton: You think Ric Flair is going to be the difference in this match? Is that what you’re trying to say here Maria? Let me tell you something, Ric Flair, is a washed-up has been. I did Ric Flair the biggest favour a man could do when I ended his career at Wrestlemania. And now, Jeff Hardy has dragged his sorry ass back into our company, because he thinks it’ll help him win tonight. Well Jeff... Ric... I got news for both of you. Nothing is going to stop me winning tonight, nothing is going to stand in the way of me once again becoming the WWE Champion. Tonight, will go down as a landmark moment in the history of the wrestling industry... as the age of Orton will rise again. -------------------- The camera quickly cuts to the parking lot, where we see an anxious Teddy Long pacing back and forth. JR and King speculate as to whether or not Batista will be here... until the camera focuses in on a black Sedan entering the lot. The car makes its way towards the camera, before coming to a stop in a spot near the door. The door opens, revealing... Batista! The Animal steps out and opens the trunk to grab his bag, before making his way towards Teddy Long and the entrance way... Teddy: Batista! Thank god your here playa! I’ve been trying to reach you all week. You ain’t returned my calls, you ain’t... Batista: Look Teddy... I’m still not happy about all of this, alright? I’m still mad about the way I’ve been treated lately. Teddy: Look man I’m sorry... Batista: Save you’re apologies for later. I wasn’t even going to turn up here tonight... infact, I don’t even know why I’m here. Teddy: You’re here ‘cause deep down you know it’s the right thing to do. Batista: Yeah maybe. Look, just let me go get ready, and I’ll see you guys down at the ring, alright? Teddy: You got it playa... -------------------- ECW Championship Match Kurt Angle (C) v Shelton Benjamin Two great collegiate wrestlers, two men with a lot of respect for each other, and two of the best athletes in the WWE go one on one tonight for the ECW Championship. As the bell rings, both men look to attack quickly, with Angle going for a waistlock, only for Shelton to counter and take Angle to the mat. A series of mat wrestling and counters follow, as Angle locks on a headlock, only for Shelton to take him down with a side suplex. Both men quickly return to their feet, but again it’s Shelton who gains the upper hand, taking Angle back down with a belly-to-back suplex and locking on a facelock. Angle struggles back to his feet, and he breaks the hold by sending Benjamin off the ropes... but Shelton takes Angle down with a shoulderblock, causing the champion to back away to the corner to regroup. Angle shows his frustrations by charging at Benjamin, but Benjamin avoids him with a leapfrog... only for Angle to go for a belly-to-belly overhead... but Shelton lands on his feet, and as Angle charges in, he low-bridges the top rope, sending Angle to the floor. Benjamin goes for a plancha, only for Angle to dodge it, and he drives the challenger into the ringpost before going back into the ring. Angle is in charge now, and he targets Shelton’s back, hitting forearms and knees to the spine, taking him down with a suplex and locking on a bodyscissors. Benjamin manages to break the hold with elbows to the face, but Angle manages to stay on the attack, sending Benjamin hard to the corner and charging in... but Shelton moves, and Angle goes shoulder first into the ringpost! Angle staggers out of the corner... right into a spinebuster! Both men stay down after that, and the referee begins to count. Both men make it back up at about 8, an trade sluggish right hands, before Benjamin sends Angle off the ropes... roundhouse kick! Benjamin nails Angle and he quickly climbs to the top rope... but Angle is up, and he runs to the corner... belly-to-belly overhead from the top rope! Angle goes for the cover... 1... 2... Benjamin somehow kicks out! Angle is quickly back to his feet, stalking Benjamin, waiting for him to get back up, and when Shelton does, Angle is ready... Angle slam... but Shelton counters... paydirt! Shelton hits paydirt! Here’s the cover... 1... 2... no! Angle gets the shoulder up! Shelton can’t believe it, but he too is quickly back up, waiting for Angle to rise. Eventually the champion makes it back up, and Benjamin is ready... t-bone suplex... but Angle blocks it, grabs Shelton’s leg... ankle lock! Ankle lock! Kurt has it locked in, but Benjamin is crawling for the ropes... but there’s the grapevine! Angle has it locked in deep, and while Shelton does his best to fight it... he has no choice but to tap out! Kurt Angle retains the title, but after the bell, Angle helps Benjamin back-up, and the two share a handshake as a sign of respect between them both. CM Punk! And Punk, tonight you defend your title against the man you won it from at Cyber Sunday MVP... only this time, it’s a steel cage match. Punk: Yeah it is inside a cage. But uh... I’ve fought for too long, and I’ve given up too much to make it this far, to realize my dreams of being a world champion some day... to let MVP take it away from me. I’m not afraid to step into a steel cage, infact, I welcomed that decision from JBL. MVP likes to talk about how there’ll be nobody to save the title for me... well MVP, I’m looking at it a little differently from you. As far as I’m concerned... when me and you get inside that cage... there’s going to be nobody to save you... from me. --------------------- Team Revolution v Team Long Triple H, Shane McMahon, Kenny Dykstra, Harry Smith and TJ Wilson v Shawn Michaels, John Cena, Mr Kennedy, Chris Jericho and Batista With Batista in their team and the match back to being 5 on 5, Team Long enters the ring full of confidence, believing that today will be the day Shane McMahon is finally removed from power and the Revolution finally comes to an end. Harry and Jericho start the match, with Jericho getting the better of the opening exchanges, sending Harry off the ropes for a back body drop, connecting with clotheslines and right hands before nailing Harry with a springboard dropkick and tagging in Kennedy. Kennedy continues Jericho’s work, taking Harry down with a Russian legsweep and following up with an elbow drop, but when he sends Harry off the ropes, Harry ducks his clothesline, catching Kennedy with a Northern lights suplex and tagging in TJ. TJ comes in and starts working on Kennedy’s right knee, stomping away on it, taking him down with snapmares and going for... a sharpshooter! TJ locks in the submission move, and Kennedy cries out in agony, trying to reach the ropes. Kennedy is straining, but he can’t quite make it... so John Cena comes in and makes the save with a flying shoulderblock! Kennedy is now able to crawl to his corner, and it’s Cena who gets the tag, and he goes straight to work on TJ, hitting clotheslines, right hands and a one handed bulldog, before coming off the ropes... dive knuckle shuffle! This prompts Harry to charge into the ring to save his partner, but Cena ducks... FU! FU to Harry... but he’s not the legal man, and TJ is back up... FU to TJ! 1... 2... 3! TJ Wilson is eliminated but the action doesn’t stop, as Kenny Dykstra comes into the ring, but he runs right into a spinebuster, before Cena tags in Shawn Michaels. Michaels comes in via the top rope, hitting a great elbow off the top, before he nails Kenny with chops across the chest. Michaels goes for an Irish whip across, but Kenny reverses, sending Shawn upside down in the corner, allowing Kenny to go to his corner and tag in Shane McMahon. Shane comes into the ring, arrogant as ever, and with him seeing Shawn in trouble, he treats us to the Shane O’Mac shuffle, stinging the right hands of Shawn’s face, before position Shawn in the corner and going for... the bronco buster... but Michaels got his foot up! McMahon cries out in pain before diving for his corner to tag in Harry, but as Harry enters the ring, he runs right into... sweet chin music! Michaels connects, and he slumps on Harry for the cover... 1... 2... 3! Harry Smith is eliminated, and HBK brings Batista into the match for the first time. The Animal enters the ring, looking ready to kill whoever steps through the ropes to face him. After some finger pointing from the three remaining Revolution members, Triple H eventually steps through the ropes, and it doesn’t take long for he and Batista to exchange a flurry of right hands. The Animal gains the advantage, sending Triple H off the ropes... spinebuster! Batista plants the Game, but as he looks to go for the Batista-bomb, Kenny races into the ring, taking him down with a chop block. Kenny quickly leaves the ring, but Triple H looks to take advantage of his work, stomping away and driving his knee into Batista’s, before Triple H goes for a figure four leglock... but Batista kicks him away! Triple H goes shoulder first into the Revolution corner, while Batista crawls to his and tags in Kennedy. Kennedy and Kenny both charge into the ring, but Kenny catches him with a neckbreaker, following that with elbows to the head and a belly-to-belly suplex, until once again the Game comes in. Triple H goes to work, hitting hard rights, but when he goes for an Irish whip, Kennedy reverses... but he ducks his head, and Triple H hits the knee smash and... the pedigree! Kennedy dropped his head and paid for it... 1... 2... 3. Mr Kennedy is eliminated, but his fellow tag team champion Jericho comes into the ring looking for revenge, catching the Game with a bulldog and going for the lionsault... but Triple H gets his knees up to block it, and he quickly tags in Dykstra, who goes to the top rope, steadies himself... sky high leg drop! Dykstra connects, hooks the leg... 1... 2... 3. Chris Jericho is eliminated, and just like that, the match is tied again at 3 on 3. Cena enters the ring again, and he gains the advantage on Kenny, taking him down with a hiptoss and going to the second rope for a legdrop bulldog. Cena then looks to hit Kenny with the FU... but Dykstra fights it, and he gets close enough for Shane to make a blind tag, allowing McMahon to come in and hit Cena with a low blow, unseen by the referee. Cena crumples to the mat, and again Shane goes for the Shane O’Mac shuffle, teeing off on Cena, before Shane climbs to the top rope... elbow drop... no! Cena rolls out of the way and Shane crashes to the mat, but Cena wastes no time, moving quickly to lock on... the STFU! Cena wrenches back on Shane’s neck... and the co-general manager is forced to tap out! Shane McMahon is eliminated, a moment that must’ve brought a lot of joy to Teddy Long. Cena tries to make a tag but Triple H moves quickly to keep him in the ring, dragging Cena to the Revolution corner and beating down on him. Quick tags between Kenny and the Game follow, as the work hard to keep Cena away from his partners, gaining several two counts in the process. This time, Triple H is able to lock on the figure four, causing Cena to cry out in pain, a long way away from his corner. Slowly but surely, Cena uses his strength to drag himself towards his corner, and eventually he manages to reach out and tag in Michaels. The Game and HBK go at it, with memories of their long earlier in the year rushing back. Michaels gets the better of the early exchanges, but when he sends Triple H off the ropes, the Game reverses... flying forearm... no! Triple H ducks, and he wastes no time in going for the pedigree... but HBK counters, sending the Game to the corner with a slingshot, and as the Game staggers out, HBK is waiting... sweet chin music... no! Triple H ducks... kick to the gut... pedigree! Triple H hits the pedigree, hooks the leg... 1... 2... 3! Shawn Michaels is eliminated, and now we’re back to level teams at 2 on 2. Triple H feels like he’s on a roll now, and as Batista enters the ring, the Game begins to taunt him. This only serves to make the Animal mad, and Batista drives Triple H to the corner, driving the shoulder into the midsection before a hard Irish whip and following in with a clothesline. Batista then sends Triple H off the ropes, but as he goes for the spinebuster, Triple H is able to counter with the knee smash, before he staggers over and tags in Kenny. Dykstra is back in, but as he charges into the ring, he runs right into a spinebuster! Batista shakes the ropes, before glaring straight at Triple H, grabbing Kenny and setting him up for... the Batista-bomb! Batista nails Dykstra, goes for the cover... 1... 2... 3! Kenny Dykstra is eliminated, and now Triple H is all alone with Cena and Batista. As Triple H slowly makes his way into the ring, Cena begs Batista to tag him in, and the Animal obliges. Cena wastes no time in gaining the advantage, taking Triple H down with shoulderblocks and a back body drop, before hitting the five knuckle shuffle for a 2 count. Triple H is reeling, and despite his desperate attempt at a comeback, it isn’t long before he’s in trouble... FU! Cena hits the FU... but now it’s Batista begging to come into the match. Batista offers for the tag... and Cena brings him in... JR: Here comes the Animal! King: It does not look good for Triple H right now. JR: Cena and Batista are going to pull off the win for Teddy Long here. King: Batista... he just gave the thumbs up... and the thumbs down! JR: The Animal... grabs Triple H by the hair, he’s going for... hey... wait... King: What in the world?! JR: Batista... he’s got Cena... Batista-bomb! Batista-bomb! A Batista-bomb to John Cena! King: What the hell is he doing?! JR: Why dammit? Why?! Batista has just Batista-bombed John Cena... and now he’s walking out on the match. Both Triple H and Cena are down, and Batista’s leaving! King: I don’t understand this. I mean... the referee’s counting Batista out! JR: There’s 8... 9... 10. Batista has been counted out, and now we’re down to just John Cena and Triple H. King: Yeah but Cena is out. Triple H is back on his feet and... JR: Oh no... no! Not like this... pedigree! Pedigree! A pedigree to John Cena! God dammit! Triple H hooks the leg... 1... 2... 3! No! Revolution has won! Shane McMahon is back in full control of Raw! King: I... I just can’t understand why Batista has done this. JR: What the hell has just happened here? We... we need some answers! Batista has just screwed each and every one of us! The referee opens it, and MVP looks to escape a matter of seconds after the match starts... but Punk grabs his foot... but MVP kicks him off. MVP manages to get a little further out... but again Punk scrambles to grab him, dragging the challenger back into the ring, before mounting MVP and raining down with a flurry of rights and lefts. Punk then begins to stomp down on MVP, using boots and driving the knee, before right hands send MVP to the corner and Punk delivers boots to the gut. An Irish whip sends MVP across the ring... but he uses the momentum to jump up to the second rope and quickly try to climb out the cage! Once again Punk has to scramble across the ring to save his title, as he grabs hold of MVP’s foot just as the challenger grabs hold of the top of the cage. Punk also climbs to the top rope, and both men start trading right hands and kicks while perched on the top rope... until a kick to the head sees MVP drop, leaving himself an uncomfortable landing on the top rope. Punk now sees this as his chance to escape, and he hoists himself up... but this time it’s MVP who has to move quickly, grabbing Punk’s boot and dragging him back down, until MVP nails a great side suplex from the top rope. Now the challenger looks to do some damage, locking Jericho in a facelock and driving the knee into the face, before MVP sends Punk face first into the side of the cage, busting open the champion’s nose. Again Punk is sent crashing into the cage, and MVP then begins to rake his face on the steel before delivering clubbing blows to the spine and more knees to the head. MVP then hooks CM Punk up, hitting an overhead belly-to-belly suplex that sends Punk back into the side of the cage. MVP looks to be in complete control, and he calls for the cage door to be opened. As he makes his way towards the door, Punk staggers to his feet, and he catches MVP from behind with a bulldog! Now Punk looks to mount offense, sending MVP into the steel multiple times and dropping him with an enziguri. MVP backs off to the corner, but Punk stays on the attack, charging in and hitting a knee to the face and going for the bulldog... but MVP pushes Punk, sending him crashing into the cage, again leaving both men down. MVP is first to get to his feet, and he begins to climb his way out... but Punk manages to grab hold of him and climb up, leaving both men standing on the top rope. Right hands are exchanged, until Punk sends MVP head first off the cage... and again... and the third one knocks MVP to the mat! Now Punk begins to climb again, hoisting himself up to the top and forcing his legs over to the other side... but MVP has crawled towards the exit and the door is already open! It’s a race to see who can get out first! MVP has a hand on the apron, but Punk is trying to make his way down... oh! Punk swings his feet round and kicks the door back in MVP’s face! The challenger goes flying back into the ring... and Punk drops to the floor! He did it! CM Punk retains the World Heavyweight Championship! Both Hardy and Orton walk to the centre of the ring, the two rivals locking noses... until Orton slaps Jeff across the face! Jeff strokes his face, feeling the effects... until he hits back with a slap of his own and the match is on! Hardy hits a series of right hands, driving Orton to the ropes before going for an Irish whip... Orton reverses... Jeff ducks his clothesline... flying clothesline! Orton quickly rolls to the outside, furious at the opening exchanges. Jeff walks to the ropes, but Orton grabs his foot, dragging Jeff to the outside, but Hardy blocks his right hand, hitting nature boy style chops to Orton’s chest before sending him back into the ring. Hardy continues to dominate, hitting a sitout jawbreaker and then a leg-feed mule kick for the match’s first 2 count. Orton is reeling, as Jeff stays on the attack, driving Orton to the corner with right hands, before going for an Irish whip across... reversal from Orton... Jeff quickly goes to the top rope... whisper in the wind... no! Orton dives out of the way, with Jeff crashing to the mat with an uncomfortable landing. Orton slowly gets back to his feet, and he begins to methodically stomp down on Jeff, before Orton mounts Jeff and hammers down with a series of right hands. Orton then locks on one of his long chinlocks, wrenching away on Hardy’s neck. The crowd, with the encouragement of Flair, try to get Hardy back into things, and eventually the champion makes it back to his feet... but Orton slams him down to the mat by the hair and driving the knee into the face, going for a cover and getting a 2 count. Orton now fires away with rapid forearms, before he slams Jeff to the mat and drives the elbow, again getting a 2 count. The frustration on Orton’s face begins to show, and he walks over to the corner... and rips the cover off the top turnbuckle, exposing the metal! Orton now turns, and with Hardy slow to get up, Orton lines him up for the punt to the head... but Jeff grabs Orton’s foot, kicking his other leg to take him down and hitting the double legdrop to the groin. Orton staggers to his feet, but Jeff is already coming off the ropes... he ducks Orton’s clothesline... but not a great standing dropkick from the legend killer, with Orton again getting a 2 count. Orton now puts himself in position, stalking Jeff, looking for... the RKO... but Jeff blocks it, pushing Orton off the ropes... crossbody from Hardy! 1... 2... Orton kicks out, and he staggers to the corner, but Jeff stays on the attack, climbing to the second rope and raining down with right hands. The fans count along with Jeff... until Orton drops Jeff face first on the turnbuckle, with King pointing out thankfully it wasn’t the exposed one. Hardy is hurt, and Orton sends Jeff off the ropes... Orton ducks his head, and Jeff kicks him in the chest, before hitting another kick to the gut... twist of fate! Jeff hits the twist of fate out of nowhere! Here’s the cover... 1... 2... Orton gets his foot on the rope! Jeff thought he had the match won, but Orton stays alive. Hardy looks to stay on the attack, hitting tired right hands, before sending Orton to the corner... but Jeff runs into a boot, and as he turns around, here comes Orton... RKO! RKO! Orton hits the RKO! We’ve got a new champion... 1... 2... no! Jeff kicks out! Orton is furious! Orton slams his fists against the mat, before once again stalking Jeff, looking for that kick to the head. Orton waits, coiled like a snake, waiting for Jeff to rise. Hardy eventually makes it to his knees, and here comes Orton... no! Again Orton misses... and Jeff is back up... dropkick to Orton’s back... right into the exposed turnbuckle! Flair had the referee distracted and he nver saw Orton go head first into the steel! Orton slumps to the mat, allowing Jeff to go to the top rope, and with the entire arena and Ric Flair cheering him on, here comes the champion... swanton bomb! Jeff connects, hooks the leg... 1... 2... 3! Jeff Hardy beats Randy Orton, and he’s still the WWE Champion! Gidday mate, I personally want to congratulate you on winning the diary of the month award. You thoroughly deserved it. Good luck with everything outside of the forum that you're concentrating on, as a fan I hope you do resume your impressive take on WWE. Cheers
