I am playing as TCW and am running into some issues. My plan was for Tommy Cornell to retain the World Title and go through all of the current Main Eventers at the start of the game. I had him beat Ricky Dale Johnson for a couple months, then had him go through Liberty in a feud that I felt made Cornell look to be far superior to Liberty. BLZ Bubb is in no position to make a run for the World Title as he has been beat by Liberty and RDJ over and over again. Troy Tornado and Wolf Hawkins have lost a lot of overness. After Tommy Cornell wins this next World Title match against Liberty at Destructive Energy I will have nothing really for him to do. Jack Griffith is an Upper Midcarder that he could feud with but he doesn't have any huge wins. I just brought in Big Cat Brandon and Emma Chase as his manager but he needs some high profile wins as well for it to make sense for them to battle Tommy Cornell. Thats my World Title issue. I also have an issue with my All Action Title. Wolf Hawkins is the current champion and I made him face. His overness is a C+ everywhere but there aren't any viable contenders. I was considering having Joel Bryant make a run for the belt. It would make sense for him to win it with Robert Oxfords help but I can't see him winning it without help. My Tag Division is really strong. I have the New Wave(Tag Champions), Vessey Bros., the Young Guns, Darkness Warriors, Tag Team Specialists, and the Machines. I had the Vessey Bros. feud with the TTS for 4 months straight in which they dominated. I don't want to give them the tag titles yet though. I want a huge build up for them first. I think I may have them get the belts at Malice in Wonderland after a big feud with the Machines. So thats kinda how my game is going. I want Texas Pete, Rocky Golden, American Buffalo, and Wolf Hawkins all to be future main eventers. Aaron Andrews has been gaining a ton of overness and he has been jobbing most of his time in TCW. So how should I revive my World Title, and All Action Title pictures? They are growing quite stale for me.

For the World title, I would suggest using talent trades for both Cornell and his contenders. For Cornell, it could be that he feels there is no competition in TCW, so he throws out a worldwide challenge. Thus you can bring in talent from any fed you can get a working agreement with and have new challengers for Cornell to face and beat. (with the hidden benefit of maybe finding some chemistry with somebody you can sign later.) At the same time, bring in people who have the same or slightly higher overness to face the people you want to build popularity for. Have these people job out to your contenders and in a little while, you should have some credible challengers. As for the All Action title, there shouldn't be a shortage of contenders for that as pretty much your entire lower card should be able to compete for it. Maybe take one of your non contending tag teams and have them fight for the belt and try to top each other.

I'd have Cornell start dicking around. Have him make his challengers go through his stable (and if he doesn't have one, give him one), while he is giving his manitory title shots to nobodies. If you want to kill a couple of birds with one stone, have Wolf Hawkins be the guy to beat Tommy for the title. That way you don't have to worry about the All Action title (you can unify it with the World title or have him vacate the title).

I'd be slightly concerned that you made Tommy Cornell go through and pretty much squash your entire main event scene.... there won't be anyone to face if none of them have been built up in the meantime. If you have to give Cornell squashes... use him agains't lower carders. The M.E workers should be used as tough competitors otherwise you end up with a very unbalanced and unrealistic roster (no one to carry the company especially if Cornell retires or gets injured) If I have what you've written misread please correct me... but it seems you may have cut your own promotions throat.

A great way to lose the title would be in a triple threat. Have Tommy and RDJ go at it hardcore and have Tommy beat RDJ but get blindsided by Liberty so he can pick up the win. You can then have RDJ run interference for Liberty because as much as RDJ would hate losing the opportunity to win, he'd much rather see Tommy cornell without the belt so everytime tommy gets a title shot, RDJ ruins it somehow. Eventually RDJ can get tired of protecting Liberty, turn heel and grab the belt for a more worthy title run.

If Griffiths needs wins, than let him beat Tommy. Let Tommy get so arrogant that at first he takes Griffiths lightly and loses a non-title match to him. And then, no matter what happens, no matter what circumstances, Tommy can't beat him. If Griffiths has what it takes, that'll help put him over.

I havent had Cornell win squashes over main events. He has just won every match pretty much whether by cheating or outside interference. However Liberty dropped 3 singles matches in a row to him. RDJ lost 3 to him before that. Wolf Hawkins popularity has dropped. Rick Laws popularity has dropped. Jack Griffith may have to be the next contender. My belt prestige has dropped to 76% and I dont know how to bring it back up. I figured by putting high quality matches on with top main eventers and keeping the belt on Cornell it would gain prestige. As for Bryan Vessey I dont have any good face tag teams so I want them to get the tag titles for awhile coming up. Then when Larry retires after his final tag title run I will move Bryan to singles competition. Thats my plan for them. I am trying not to use all my ideas in just a few short months. When I plan long term like this the game goes much longer.

That was my basic point.... you killed the main even scene. I'd try something that happens well not too often in WWE .... have a good UpperMidcard challenge Cornell and get a fluke win taking the title (if the belt has only 76% prestige it's perfect for a U.M to take it and rise with it). Doing this (as long as your UM can gain momentum/popularity) will definitely make the title prestige go up and give you some extra time to rebuild your main event scene (give a lot of easy wins to your top guys over lower carders - you could even have gauntlet matches ... 3min matches over low carders, so your top guys could have say 3 matches per show, that hopefully will raise them up quick) While it's fine to have one guy be the top star of your company, always remember to have workers just as good waiting in the wings for their shot otherwise you end up with the Triple H syndrome from a few years ago.

You can't just let Hogan - I mean Cornell - run amuck. It'll kill the WCW - I mean TCW.

I am thinking about making RDJ my next World Champion but I want to wait until a really big PPV like Malice in Wonderland which is a few months away. Guys like Texas Pete and Rocky Golden just dont have the skills to carry my belt and the same goes for Liberty. I like to have a skilled World Champion.

Why not run a short storyline similar to Mr McMahon making a workers life hell. Whoever you're next title holder will be, have it so Cornell buys protection from other heels and makes the face lifes complete hell (Let the face squeak out a couple of wins, but more mic time to gain overness). Also try something like Cornell tries to kidnap someone and the face runs in for the save. You could always throw in a match against cornell but he switches with someone else at the last minute but interferes costing the face the match. If you have say 3mths till the big PPV just pull out all the stops to get the overness and momentum moving quickly. Nothing wrong with having an entire tv show based around 2 or 3 workers. Use the spare time to work out momentum/future pushes with other workers as well

I have 5 PPV's before Malice in Wonderland... Malice in Wonderland is TCWs Huge PPV I believe and thats how I am trying to book it. Malice in Wonderland = January War to Settle the Score = February Just Another Day? = March Where Angels Fear to Tread = April Total Mayhem = May Excessive Force = June Punishment(small PPV) = July Summer Showdown = July Hotter Than Hell = August *NEXT PPV FOR ME* Destructive Energy (Jack Griffith will face Tommy Cornell) = September Threatening Behavior = October A Little South of Sanity = November Psycho Circus = December So as you can see I am 5 months away from when I want the Tag Titles and the World Title to change hands.

There is one other idea i have..... have Cornell go off to film a movie making Griffith the new big deal for the promotion... exploit the crap outta him and after about 3mths have cornell return wanting to claim his spot as No1 superstar. Eventually Griffith demands a title match. (Title against Top Spot). Well something like that anyway.. I'm sure you get the idea.

So I reached a working agreement with DaVE. I brought in Shawn Gonzalez, Art Reed, and Acid. I am having Art Reed put over American Buffalo. Acid is putting Jack Griffith over and then jobbing to Wolf Hawkins to elevate the All Action Title. Shawn Gonzalez came in as a mystery opponent for Tommy Cornell and lost due to outside interference by the Machines in match 1. I am gonna have him lose to Cornell again and then lose to someone else.
