I want a "Demand Promotion" button!

Recommended Posts

I'm in CMLL, I've got 60% overness in Mexico, a 27-14 record with the fed, I put on quality matches (just came off a B+ win against Mando Guerrero) and yet I still am an opener. I go to request a manager or a feud and they say "you're not high enough on the card yet." And I want to storm into the office and yell "F---, what the f--- does a f---er have to f---ing do to f---ing get pushed up the motherf---ing card, bitch!" So can we have a button in the "Creative Meeting" section that says "Demand A Push" or something like that?

In my experience, your push depends on several factors. First and foremost, how many people are in the fed in the card level you want to move up to. As an example, in my RTL game, I was an enhancement talent in a fed (AAA, trying out the women's side) that had a dearth of openers. So, I beat one half of the tag champs (with a B+ match) and was immediately an Opener. Problem was, a few months down the line, I beat the former champion (she had lost the title the week before) in an A rated match and didn't get any push at all. That was because (from what I noticed), AAA had a freakin' logjam at the midcard level. There were only 4 main eventers and everyone else was midcard except me (Opener) and some manager chick (Vita). What made this particularly odd was the fact that I currently hold titles in better promotions (4C tag, 5 star tag and world). I'm a main eventer anywhere in Japan I'd wanna go, midcard or better in most of Canada, but nada in AAA. The logjam issue is the only reason I can possibly see for you being held down. You have a much better overall profile than I do (I'm 64-2 with 52 overness in Japan, 30 in US and 26 in Canada. Most of my matches are B+ to C in quality). That demand option would rock though :)

I think if the owner, booker, owner's friends (wrestlers), or booker's friends (wrestlers) don't like you, moving up becomes a lot more difficult. How many workers in that fed dislike/hate you, and are they main eventers/upper midcarders/owner/booker within that same fed?
