machinesxe
Halo 3 Pro-Ball Season 1 Come one, come all! Join in on the newest game concept for Halo 3 I am looking for a few good guys/girls who have Xbox live, Halo 3 and some free time that would like to get in on a mini tournament on Halo 3 in a cool new mini-game I created after seeing and enjoying the Griffball concept over at RedvsBlue.com. The tourney will be a single elimination tournament held over the 4 weeks (Starting date will be announced later). You will be in teams of up to 5 (3 in a game at a time and 2 subs) and have to play your game within the week that it needs to be played. If it has not been played your game will be skipped or have another team sub in for your team. If you are interest post your GT and Team name along with all team members here. The first 8 people who sign up as team leaders will be admitted with 1 or 2 teams as back ups. If you are just interested in being part of a team make note of that here when you post and I am sure somebody will need a team members. So you can leave feed back and or sign up as of now. *Also so you know I will update with a link to my file share where the game varient and game settings are hosted so you can download and practice or try it out for fun. Thomnipotent
Can you explain the Pro-Ball concept?
machinesxe
Well the best way to explain it is that you have 2 teams of 3 (all games are played on the Foundry Variation I have created). Both sides have a bomb plant location and it is floating in air (acting as a basketball hoop). Each base has a single wall in front of the bomb plant location. In the center you have the Bomb spawn location and on the left and right of the bomb spawn you have a throwable grav lift followed by a baricade and then another grav lift. Each side also has a man cannon on it to do a long jump for the score. I will take some screens and post them later. If you interested go check out my GT: Juiced Machine, and download the game varients on your system and try it out. I am sure you will be pleased. mjdgoldeneye
I'd play, but in order for us to do this, we need lots of people, and they ALL have to have Foundry. I do, but not everyone does... Can team members be outside of GDS? I'd imagine... Also, I have a game that isn't just fun based on my own opinion... I was wasting time making games with a friend, and we developed "Fairy Ball"... It's Oddball, auto pick-up (you pick up the ball if you touch it), and the player with the ball goes max speed, minimum gravity. The ball has very quick respawn if dropped. Also, the ball carrier has no shields. Everyone trying to get the ball has BR's and Snipers. I ended up making a court on Guardian for it, but you can play it on the standard Guardian set-up. Apparently, it turned out well, because I play with 5-8 friends pretty often... So... yea... :p
