EZE85
I was hoping I could pick some experienced brains for ideas on how to make MOSC get their attendances up as im running dangerously low on funds 6 months in and ive cut the number of workers I have on shows etc. Im running one show a month, should I launch into weekly shows to rapidly spend money in order to quickly boost popularity and then start to turn a profit rather than spending a bit each month and seeing my pop remain static? I've considered turning MOSC into more of a sports entertainment fed, taking the lead from 21CW. One things for sure, if I dont start upping attendances (all shows are very well recieved) I won't reach the 24 month mark to get sacked by the boss for not making more than $120k. hurricanendp
when i play with smaller feds, depending on how tight money is, i run a show every two months, advertising will still come in, you just won't be spending as much on workers (of course you'll have their downsides to pay) Changing your promotions style is always a possibility, but you can't change it drastically unless you want to lose your core audience. Another thing i used to do was gain working agreements with as big a fed as i could get, and then talent trade, obviously you aren't going to get their stars, but if you find a worker that's very over in your key area that's working for them, then they can really give you a boost. Nevermore
If you're desperate to make money, skip a show for a month or two. That way, your expenses are next to nothing (nearly all workers are PPA). Otherwise, don't skip to a weekly format. Keep monthly going until your able to get a TV deal with UK Broadcasting Digital. If you want to change the product at all, traditional is the best way forward for the british market. It alos allows some of the more talented UK workers to put on good matches. Depends how close to the original you want to be, though. And don't worry about 21CW too much. At some stage, they'll probably be dumb enough to negotiate a second TV show and start themselves on the long slide into bankruptcy. Hope this helps ;). EZE85
ty guys. This is the first time ive 'gotten into' TEW07. Since the daft thing just does not like VISTA at all. So I was hoping to keep MOSC a float as it takes a while to develop an affinity to some guys and... well... I love my boys now lol. I may have a 'dead' month in December (traditional holiday) to see how much we do financially. As to the working agreements I've negotiated them with all british and European promotions. We're all brothers really. LOL. But haven't done a talent trade... who'd want my talent? Aside from my top 4 workers (The Highland Warrior, 'The Juicer' harley Neill, Danny Patterson and Jeffery McPeterson) everyone else is either poor or already working for the other feds like Mr John 'Rod the God Todd' Faust and UK Dragon (a champion in ROF and WLW). i ain't got nothing much to trade :-) I'd love to crack into london to get their affluence but I dont think I can survive 3-4 shows of almost nothing attendances whilst I open up the market.
