Dont you just love it when things go wrong?

Just started a game with tap or snap 3 real world mod. Booked my first show with Rampage Vs Tito Ortiz great stuff Rampage wins as I would have liked. Before this though two things I didn't want to happen. Forrest Griffin is my favourite light heavyweight at the moment, I give him the chance to get revenge on Keith Jardine but he gets knocked out in 45 seconds. Chuck Liddel Vs Dan Henderson the winner likely to get a rematch with Rampage for the title. I really want Chuck to win he gets KO'ed int he 2nd round. Last but not least GSP Vs Matt Serra I obviously wanted GSP to thrash Serra as GSP is one of my favourites but Serra wins by submission in 4:24 of 1st round. Now all my plans have gone out the window but for some reason I really like this as you have to constantly change your ideas for match ups and stuff. Anyone else like it when things go wrong or does it annoy you?

I like it when guys who have become stars over the course of their existing contract lose their last fight so I don't have to pay them as much. It always softens the blow of a star losing. Sometimes it's cool when an unexpected upset occurs because it increases the diversity of the guys at the top, especially when the guy doing the upsetting is an exciting fighter so you get at least 1 more exciting fight you can make before your upsetter goes down the drain.

A great example of things going wrong was my Heavyweight Grand Prix in my ISL game that's in 2002 now. 16 guys...The whole idea was to have it come down to Aleksander Ivanov, my champion and Kunimichi Kikuchi who is my #1 ranked heavyweight, and biggest draw. Kikuchi's on a seven match winning streak and the title match has been immient for some time. I thought it was a sure thing they'd make the finals. Mick Curran then proceeds to knock Ivanov out cold in the first round. Biggest upset in the history of my fed. Kikuchi fairs better, but goes out in the semi finals to Harry Milne. Milne then loses to Staffold Alois. Thankfully, the game understood that Ivanov/Kikuchi was still a super hot match, and their eventually title match was still massive. Ivanov won the title match. I learned my lesson...I'm running a Middleweight Tournament, and withheld my champion and top contender from it.
i know thats y i was mad when he got taken because it set up Darin Blood 7-0 vs Datuk 7-0 for my title in BCF
Oh, I gotcha. I didn't understand your situation perfectly. Yeah I feel your pain. It's always bittersweet when a bigger org takes your stars :(
