Jungle Jack
Currently it is January 2013 in my TCW game and I’ve done pretty well for myself as NOTBPW and I are competing as the top two federations in North America. However I appear to have succumbed to being a “wrestler shopaholic” and have picked up a ton of wrestlers who look interesting but now I have too many (according to the ideal roster numbers I am 28 over the ideal limit and that’s just too many even if I do have 2 brands). My roster as it stands Main Eventers Aaron Andrews Eddie Chandler (current World Champion) Eddie Peak El Leon (current Cruiserweight Champion) El Mitco Jr. Guide (w/Scout a member of The New Wave) Jay Chord Jungle Jack (former 3 time World Champion and resident legend) Lobster Warrior Marc DuBois Mario Heroic (currently on suspension) Masked Patriot Matthew Gauge Randy Bumfhole Rhino Umaga (current World Tag Team Champion w/Akima the Brave) Sgt. Bubba Lee West Steve Flash Tommy Cornell (former 7 time World Champion and other resident legend) Wolf Hawkins Zimmy Bumfhole Upper Midcarders Akima the Brave (Part of the Samoan Attack Squad with Rhino Umaga, World Tag Team Champion) Big Cat Brandon Bulldozer Brandon Smith C.H. Threepwood Davis Wayne Newton Edward Cornell (how’d he get here considering he’s won 15 matches in 5 years?) El Demonio Frankie Perez Freddy Huggins Joey Minnesota Lenny Brown Nathan Coleman Roy Edison Sammy Bach (current International Champion and former 4 time Tag Team Champion with Teddy Powell) Scout (w/Guide part of The New Wave) Midcarders Acid American Elemental Andre Jones & Antonio (Tag Team) Art Reed Bart Biggz (Biggz Boyz) Black Eagle Brett Biggz (Biggz Boyz) Dark Angel Ernest Youngman (All Action Champion) Fox Mask Harry Allen (Young Guns) Jared Johnson Joel Bryant (contract runs out in 5 days) KC Glenn Marc Speed Matt Sparrow Nicolas Lopez Nigel Svensson Panda Mask II Phenomenal E Remmy Honeyman Remmy Skye Rolling Johnny Stones Scythe Soul Taker Steve Gumble (Young Guns) Teddy Powell The Silencer UK Dragon Lower Midcarders Acid II Amo Del Gato Angel De Mexico Dragon Del Arco Iris Jr. Fumihiro Ota Groucho Bling Nathaniel Ca$ino Rudy Velasquez Sabra Man Jr. Tigre Salvaje Jr. Opener Bradley Blaze El Orgulloso Hugh de Aske Inca Jr. Josh Jones Mascara Roja Jr. Quentin Queen Solar II Sterling Whitlock Enhancement Talents Crusher Von Steinberg Mark Smart Delirium Geoff Borne Vincent Bach (randomly generated character with freakish charisma and mic skills but average in ring skills) Women’s Division Amber Allen (held the Women’s championship for 18 months from 2009-2010) Annie Hitch**** Brooke Tyler Etsuko Arihyoshi Ginko Kuroda Jaime Quine Jen Neptune Kathy Neptune Lauren Easter (Women’s Champion) Melody Cuthill Missy Masterson Nadia Snow Sara Marie York Stephanie Wade Yori Toyoshima I just had a large cutback in the Women’s division releasing 4 people before I signed Tyler (who’s numbers show promise even though she hasn’t had a match above E+ yet). The Tag Team division is in a bit of a shambles as Adrenaline Rush and the Art Reed/Groucho Bling tag teams have broken up meaning the belt rotates between New Wave/Samoans/Bumfholes with everyone else being basically jobbers to those 3. My top faces in the Main Event are: Jay Chord, Aaron Andrews, El Mitco Jr. (just named Wrestler of the Year for 2012), and Jungle Jack. Top Heels in the Main Event: Eddie Chandler, Matthew Gauge, Marc DuBois, and Tommy Cornell. So, are there any opinions on who should be cut/non-renewed? Sabra Man, Bradley Blaze, and Nathaniel Ca$ino were signed in hopes they’d develop and they haven’t so would these be good cuts to start? I also basically signed Dark Angel and Coleman to put people over so I probably won’t renew their contracts. I still need to cut at least 10 more to get down to a manageable level and not have *2* six man tags every show to get everyone involved.
ZMAN
4 chicks has always been enough for me. I dont know about you, but I only run one womens match a night. After that you just need 18.. Thats enough for a third brand. I like Coleman. From my experiences hes always been a reliable midcarder for jobbing and tag teaming. Steve Flash has to be past his time. Job him back down to mid card status and cut Dark Angel. Marc Speed and Sparrow have always bored me. I only used Sparrow to job in the All Action ranks, but you dont need him if youre this packed. It all depends on how often you use people. Find out whos pissed.
Basmat01
I cant see why there would be too many for a second brand? did you think about having a womens only brand? If you dont want to sack to many guys I surgest adding a second or third brand to your promotion or just make the shows longer to fit every body in lol

I agree though you need to cut some weight. Mostly I just put those who I didn't care for or whom seem out of place.
Michael Wayne
Dark Angel
he should have been one of your top stars dude.. Seriously. Incredibly over in Canada, and due to his skills and such, would get over quick in the US. You should have paired him up with Edd Stone and let them have their series of high spot based matches. MVP
First of all, can the Young Guns, unless you want them for your Cruiser division, you should have only one jobber tag team per brand
Remianen
First of all, can the Young Guns, unless you want them for your Cruiser division, you should have only one jobber tag team per brand
I agree. Also, fire Annie Hitch**** and Missy Masterson. Unless you need Missy to be a manager, she's dead weight and will never develop into anything worthwhile. Annie isn't a wrestler, she's a manager who is asked to wrestle (think: Torrie Wilson). I think given your promotion's focus, you have way too many women's workers. But that's okay because since it's a division, they don't expect to be used very much. However, one thing you might consider is forming a brand solely for your tag teams. I've found that it's a great way to carry a large roster while ensuring folks get used a lot. That way, you can have two tag team titles (main event and midcard) and use those people exclusively on one brand. This should free up screen time for all of the various other "divisions" that exist in your promotion (i.e. every one with a title). And your 28 over is pretty common for me but I use all of my workers by splitting them into groups (tag team division wrestlers ONLY work in tag team matches, etc). MVP
Sometimes, in my SWF game, when it's time for the anuall roster cut, my firing criteria usually sums up to stamina, basic skills, creative ideas, their performances and chemistry. So I advise you to fire guys who can't take a 20 minute match, don't have good basics, that are stuck in random matches every week, and don't have much chemistry with other people. I do that and it usually works, be aware of popularity and momentum as well.
