Eisen-verse Posted March 18, 2008 Posted March 18, 2008 I'm looking for a new game and thought maybe the UK? However, it seems like there is a massive lack of talent in the UK versus Canada & the US. It offers more of a challenge for that reason, however, I was wondering if anyone has had any true success with running promotions out of there? Its isolation intrigues me, however, I'm not sure if there would be enough talent in the area to really make it worth while. I've primarily played in the US since I started playing these games (Going back to EWR). If not the UK, I may start a promotion in Canada? Not really sure though.
BadFurDay Posted March 18, 2008 Posted March 18, 2008 Wanting to play an UK promotion myself for the second time, but now I'm waiting for TEW08 so I can use the talent import from Europe, the US, and Japan. There's a huge lack of talent. It's a fun challenge to develop them into something big, but it's damn hard, most UK wrestlers are totally useless.
Blasphemywebleed Posted March 18, 2008 Posted March 18, 2008 I play with ROF reguarly, never had a game that I would call a glittering success, i've never managed to get them above cult.
Phantom Stranger Posted March 18, 2008 Posted March 18, 2008 Marcel Fromage and I both hit National with ROF recently. Marcel did it without removing worker restrictions and took a little over five years; I took a little under, but with Davis Wayne Newton and a couple of others to back it up. It's more than doable.
