WrestleManiac
I don't know if I'd have the right to release this, but if that is the case I'm still going to do this mod even if I am the only one to play it. I would like to know either way if anybody knows. I heard the original mod maker is hard to get hold of these days. Anyway, my main problem with T-Zone is the size of it. Don't get me wrong it was a mammoth task brilliantly done. The problem is the database doesn't fit the game mechanics so for the first few months you get told off for poor PPV ratings when it's not your fault because the game is forcing the database to play by the AI's rules. Workers are getting fired left, right, and centre and, to be honest, the first few months are a mess - which undoes all the hard work put into the mod. So, my solution is to update and adjust the mod to fit the game. That means a lot of trimming. I'm aiming to streamline T-Zone down to C-verse size so these will be the major changes: Cverse/T-Zone Promotions: 29/62 Workers: 1,166/3,833 Locations: 292/1,549 TV Networks: 30/121 PPV Carriers: 11/45 Starting with the promotions the international regions are split up like so: USA: 10 – Lcl (2) Sm (3) Reg (2) Cu (1) Nat (1) Int (1) Canada: 3 – Sm (1) Cu (1) Nat (1) Mexico: 3 – Reg (3) UK: 3 – Sm (2) Reg (1) Japan: 9 – Lcl (2) Sm (1) Reg (3) Cu (1) Nat (2) Europe: 1 – Reg (1) Working on the USA promotions we have this: Local – NWA:SW, Small – APW, CW, CHIKARA, CZW, ECWA, FIP, HWA, IWA: DS, IWA: DC, IWA:MS, IWC, JAPW, NWA:A, OVW, PWG, PWU, SHIMMER, UXW, WXW:USA Regional – IWA:PR, ROH, WWC, Cult – TNA National – International – WWE WWE as they are. TNA to National. ROH to Cult. That leaves IWA:PR and WWC as they are. I need to demote one of the small companies and get rid of 15. That's where I'm asking for help. From the small companies listed above which one should I demote to Local, which three should remain small and who are the 15 destined to die. Basmat01
I would play a Slimed down T-Zone or real world data or what ever you want to call it. As much as I like playing real world data there isnt one that really keeps me interest although I do like the 2001 data lol. Size useally keeps me from playing real world I mean we dont need 4000 workers and 100 promotions good luck lol
Self
I'm right there with you. T-Zone's size was one of the reasons I turned to play the C-Verse. It's too bloated. I do think that cutting it down to C-Verse size may be a little harsh. I've always felt C-Verse could benefit from being a little bigger, particularly in terms of Venues, TV Networks and Other TV Shows. Nothing major, just 15-20% or so. Can't help on which promotions to lose I'm afraid. I have no idea.

Ping von Erich
Lose for sure.. CW, IWA: DS, IWA: DC, , IWC, , NWA:A, PWU, UXW, WXW:USA, NWA:SW Ones to think about keeping.. APW, FIP, JAPW, HWA, IWA:PR, WWC Ones to keep for sure.. CHIKARA, CZW, ECWA, IWA:MS, OVW, PWG, SHIMMER Excluding TNA, WWE and ROH which have to be in, obviously. And I like the idea of a general NWA promotion, I saw that in a real world mod recently. Give them their small time TV slot for The NWA Showcase, give them the NWA World titles. Could be a fun little fed to play.

sabataged
1RC runs perfectly on my machine. I dont have the data anymore because I copied over it on accident and don't feel like downloading at the moment. But if you could get T-Zone down to those numbers, which are a happy medium between the two, I think that would be perfect. I belive it like 30-35feds, and 2000-2500 workers. Bucky Sinister
I'd definitely play a smaller real world database. I keep intending to pare TZone down myself, but the lack of a "mass delete" function in the Editor always keeps me from getting very far. So... many... mouseclicks... Michael Wayne
Working on the USA promotions we have this: Local – NWA:SW, Small – APW, CW, CHIKARA, CZW, ECWA, FIP, HWA, IWA: DS, IWA: DC, IWA:MS, IWC, JAPW, NWA:A, OVW, PWG, PWU, SHIMMER, UXW, WXW:USA Regional – IWA:PR, ROH, WWC, Cult – TNA National – International – WWE WWE as they are. Might as well remove them. Their website is also very out of date when it comes to a roster. You might as well remove any IWA promotions that aren't Mid South, Anarchy, or East Coast. Deep South is closed. They closed up shop last year. IWA: Switzerland is also basically dead. That right there should help your indy scene and thus not give you reason to "demote" someone. sabataged
As for new promotions I would just add in the ones you cut from the list. Dont know if this is what your planning, but you could put in thier BIO that they are now big enough to gain recognition or something. Also dont you think you should have FCW in for US feds since that is WWEs devlopmental.
WrestleManiac
I was going to put some of the cut promotions into the new promotions file, anyway, Sabataged. Great minds think alike! I'm weighing up FCW at the moment. I'm stuck looking for a roster for a couple of promotions: IWRG and NWA Shockwave. Can anybody point me to the right place? foolinc
No idea, which is why you should probably get rid of them and put in the 4th biggest US company, PWG.

WrestleManiac
Thanks for that Michael. Anyone for IWRG's roster? That's Grupo Internacional Revolucion from Mexico if anybody doesn't know? But then, if you didn't know that then I don't suppose you'd know their roster. :S
Michael Wayne
cubsfan posts stuff about them in his blog. I took IWRG out of my data. You can do what you like. I also took Baja Stars out.
WrestleManiac
A quick update: Promotions: 29 (completed) Workers: 170 (unfinished) I've decided to keep the locations and match types as they were in the original because they don't seem to slow down the game, the blame for that appears to be on the workers and promotions. The storylines and angles come from another database. Problem is I don't know who did them originally. All the other details such as titles, TV shows, events I'm working on promotion by promotion. So far all the work has gone into WWE... which is now finished! Can you believe those 170 workers are all from WWE (including developmental)?!?! Good news is I'm a whole week ahead of schedule. WrestleManiac
Can you make some new storylines and stuff cause the ones in T-Zones were just ugh.
I have an ongoing storyline mod that I am working on that is currently on hold. Thing is I find writing storylines rather tedious, so don't expect it anytime this decade.... maybe TEW2020!
