jamck
Who is going to see it? either live or on tv. I maybe seeing it on tv because its 34 bucks a person at the theatres but only 54(roughly)bucks on ppv and my mom really wants to see the undertaker's match
Moe Hunter
It always shocks me when people in America talk about how expensive PPVs are. You know how much I'm paying for WWE PPVs? US$15.90 each. That's Live, too.
chris caulfield
I'm going round to a friends on monday to watch a replay as the live show is at 1 AM in the morning. Should be good as around 4 or 5 other people are going to be there.
RKO_HBK
Yeah, the prices seem ridiculous in the US. I'm watching it on PPV here in the UK, and it's costing me £14.99 (about $30). With that I get the whole PPV (obviously) and then replays for the whole of the next day. So, is anyone watching it with friends or anything? I'll be watching it with a mate (first time I've watched a live PPV with a friend- he watched a repeat of the Rumble with me, and I've seen countless shows myself though), but like I said it's a first. Anyone else having mates round, or just watching it alone?

Sensai of Mattitude
Hmm, this may be the first Mania that I've seen since X7. I'm undecided - I haven't watched wrestling since No Way Out and the card doesn't look that great. WrestleMania's matches always manage to pleasently surprise though, and Michaels/Flair combined with MITB may be enough to win me over.
NickC13573
I am thinking about going to Buffalo Wild Wings to watch it.
Akki
As I'm ordering it in HD, it's $65 for me. That's ridiculous, and more than double what it cost to order a PPV two or three years ago. But, it's WrestleMania, so what can ya do? (And that's exactly what WWE's logic is, that people will still order no matter what. We'll have to see what the buyrate is, though.) I wouldn't mind seeing it with a couple of friends, as it is Wrestlemania after all, but so far those that like wrestling have the same opinion, so it looks like I'll be skipping it this year. Yeah I'm dishing out 50 bucks to watch it. It sucks but there's nothing you can really do about it. I've watched every WrestleMania since 12, not gonna stop now. Moe Hunter
I am in Canada. In the Maritimes
Ah, my apologies. Still, it seems you get lumped with the same rediculously high pricing as the people on your continent down in the States. Anywho, I'll be watching it live at my place, I guess at about 1pm with a bunch of friends who are also wrestling fans. Should be good times. I figure the Triple Threat will be the main event, so I won't be bothered when I have to leave for work by 5pm. No matter who wins that match, I lose as I'm really not a fan of any of them, so it'll be good not to have to watch the match.

Self
Don't have access (I can afford to upgrade my cable, but I'm thinking of moving soon) so I won't be able to watch Wrestlemania live. I might find some other way of watching the show after the fact, though it'll mean I'll have to dodge spoilers for a few days.

NickC13573
From NODQ.com The verdict is in: Wrestlemania worth buying? WWE wanted you to spend $65 in HD to see this show on PPV. Let's take a look at how much fans were willing to pay for each match: Orton vs. Cena vs. HHH: $10 Edge vs. Undertaker: $10 Mayweather vs. Big Show: $0 Shawn Michaels vs. Ric Flair: $40 Money In The Bank: $10 Batista vs. Umaga: $0 Finlay vs. JBL: $0 Bunnymania: $0 ECW Title match not included Grand Total: $70 The good news: The PPV is worth the price tag according to the poll results. Luckily for WWE, it appears that many fans will be ordering the PPV just to see HBK vs. Flair. The only bad news is that there appears to be very little interest in Mayweather vs. Big Show. Final word: If you want to spend $65 on a $70 show, order WWE Wrestlemania. Also, check out the live coverage at NoDQ. com! ;-)

I'm British, don't watch much TV, and don't hang out with anyone who watches wrestling. I'm sure I'll be fine, as long as curiosity doesn't get the better of me. sebsplex
/shakes head.... Those that like wrestling won't be watching Wrestlemania? LoL.
Chris, I know your reading is amazingly selective at times, but yes I have two what I'd call 'main' friends who are still into pro-wrestling and neither fancy splitting the cost for Wrestlemania based on the card (not to mention it usually runs until 4am UK time). That's not a slight on the WWE, so I'd appreciate it you'd spare me your 'defend the WWE against everyone' routine, thanks.
Antithesis
I'd also add that there are plenty of wrestling fans out there that either don't like or don't care to support the WWE. So you can be a wrestling fan (as I have for over 28 years) and not give a damn about Wrestlemania.

None of my friends plan to buy WM (and the WWE fanatics among them don't have the cash to spare :p) and I sure as hell aint buyin' it. I'm gonna buy TNA Lockdown though but then again, I'd pay to see Cheerleader Melissa (err, sorry. Raisha Saeed) wrestle anywhere, anytime, for any amount. Besides, the Wrestlemania card just reeks of predictability to me. I think I'd destroy my TV (an admittedly aged first generation 60" plasma with burn-in starting to show) if Randy Orton walked out still champion, but I'm guessing he will. The other matches are similar in that most of the possible results would be bad to me. If Edge beats 'Taker and breaks his streak, it would be stupid IMO (Edge doesn't need that kind of rub) and if he retains via DQ (due to his flunkies), it's the very definition of 'cheap finish'. I don't care about the red-headed stepchild...err, ECW, since Punk is in MITB and Chavo has never been much of a draw (without Eddie). Candice Michelle and her brittle ass killed any appeal the women's match may have had (and it didn't have much), though I have $50 on Ashley and HER brittle ass getting hurt as a result of the match. I wish they'd bring back Mickie James since she's probably the only unattached "diva" on the roster who could match Beth Phoenix, talent wise (Victoria's on Smackdown, after all, and Nikita...err, Katie Lea and "Cherry" are attached to programs already). I was hoping they'd let Paul Burchill into the MITB match but I figured they wouldn't. That match has potential but I'm deathly afraid they're gonna let boring ass John Morrison win it. The only possible good result would be if Kennedy, MVP or CM Punk win it (Jericho doesn't need it, Carlito is on his way out IMO, and Shelton isn't ready or doesn't fit WWE's product or whatever). The Train Wreck of the Night promises to be the Batista-Umaga match (like anyone cares, really). Michaels is going to beat Flair (does anyone doubt that? :p) which allows Ric to be the first active wrestler inducted into the Hall of Fame and lets him segue into an onscreen mentor role with someone (or debut someone as their mouthpiece) after a few months rest. Short answer: No.
Self
Interesting views on the Wrestlemania card. I have some different predictions, although some of them are bordering on hopefulness. I'll agree there isn't much making me want to buy the show, although I would love to see Ric Flair's last match live. It seems important somehow.
