MaxxHexx
I am out of ideas for new games. I need something to hold me over until TEW 2008, and I have played my way through WMMA more times than I can remember (Including a classic game that had 15 promotions, but only 350 fighters). So I am looking for some TEW new games ideas. I don't know if I want real world (hurry mod) or the classic c-verse. It could be playing as a certain promotion in a seerio or it could be testing a new product setting. Or, it could be something outlandish. Pretty much I will try what ever the forums throw at me. Thanks a bunch.
wilts
If you are struggling, start with the MA 2.0 mod, play as WCW and see if you can acheive what the WWF did, in the same time frame or quicker, without using the editor...
sheepy
Try Tommy's Invasion scenario. Instead of playing as the WWF take control of a smaller company like BCW. Personally I play as NWA Wildside but it depends on what product you want to book. The goal is then to see if you can make it to the position of being the number 2 promotions in North America and Canada. I find it a good scenario because there's only one big promotion in North America (WWF) and a smattering of big promotions throughout the rest of the game world. You've got a lot of similar sized promotions to compete against in the goal to make it to numbr two that will punish you if you take you're foot off the gas. Biggest benefit, there's a lot of highly talented workers without a job that can be picked up as the game continues (plus the WWF shed they're stars quite a bit as they've got a hugely bloated roster). For me its the best fun I've had on TEW.
Remianen
Given my bias..... Try a women's promotion. It's a totally different level of challenge when you don't start out with over a dozen over workers in the world that you can hire to boost your existing roster. S'why I came up with my product. You'll have some trouble with it in the Cornellverse (due to the relative lack of really good in-ring performers outside of Alicia Strong, Wanda Fish, and two of the big three in 5SSW. Relative to the men, that is. The women don't have a Steve Flash type) but in the real world, you can be National inside of two years if you're well funded. That is, unless you're playing a mod with the women largely underrated (it happens!). Just don't try it with AAA's product. It's far too frustrating to be fun (and consider who's saying this ;)). Your people can't put on good shows without overness and without putting on good shows, they can't get overness. Catch-22 at its worst.
NickC13573
try a promotion, but destroy all contracts.
MaxxHexx
Thanks for the ideas. While I was wasting time waiting for posts in this thread I actually started testing out Remianen's product settings, to find a product to use when I got a good idea. I actually ended up liking my test game of the product and I plan to follow that. Though I will keep some of these ideas in mind. Thanks.
