jonlawson
Don't know if this has been posted here... APW is Portugals leader in wrestling entertainment. They recently released a statement telling us that RVD will be in 2 of their shows. This is RVD's first appearence in ring after WWE, and will be a great oppurtunity for the European fans to witness a new improved RVD...no strings attached and no limits. The shows will be next March 28th and 29th at Europarque in Santa Maria da Feira (Oporto) and Elvas Colosseum. RVD will fight Raven in the first night. And Chris Moore second night. Tyler Gadzinski
I heard he wrestled for some Independants here in the US shortly after his departure. I thought I heard ROH being tossed around but I doubt that as it would've been announced months ago.

But even if he didnt everything I read straight from RVD's mouth is that he wanted time away from the ring. But who knows Im just trying to toss around what I remember lol
Tyler Gadzinski
I thought his No Compete Clause was similar to Lesnar's.. then again RVD left when his contract ran out so he might not have had a No Compete Clause. And the Clause is mainly for being on TV isn't it?

James Casey
*nods* RVD is taking care of his sick wife right now, and not wrestling full-time - but the sort of money he must make as a former WWE star and World champion for these tours would be enough to take a few days out here and there. WWE would, in all likelihood, take him back if he ever wanted back, but I wouldn't expect him to do more than sporadic appearances in the meantime. dvdWarrior
I'd like nothing on earth better than to see RVD & Sabu take on The Briscoes in ROH, I'd be all over that dvd. I don't think RVD'll be back in WWE again anytime soon, since I saw a shoot interview on YouTube where he compared being under a WWE contract to being in prison. Never know though, just saying... Hyde Hill
RVD in TNA for me but atm he has said in multiple interviews he is taking care of his sick wife and will only do sporadic apearances if the conditions are right (money, airfare and hotel for him and his wife etc.) Plus he has said he has kind of lost the passion for the bussiness and is focussing more on RVD tv. Still once his wife gets better I am sure TNA could work out a light schedule for him. Furthermore he has noted TNA keeps in contact with him each week while WWE calls him every other month.
