This is a suggest about the future of the C-verse inspiried by the many diary writers that have put so much time into create excellent characters for wrestlers in the C-verse. I think it's fair to say that some characters created by diary writers have become so popular that they may warrant includion into the c-verse in 08 or futher down the line. So, with that in mind i'd like to suggest some characters which should make the transfer from diary to real game, into canon if you will. I hope others will do likewise USPW: Jim Force: I think anyone who has read J Silver's USPW diary came to love Jim Force's Lord/Master/Creator/Guardian/Hero/God of the Force gimmick in which Force does a total spoof of himself when he was in the 80s. I think it wouldn't be so insane if this gimmick carried over to the c-verse. Basically Force's comedy rating goes up and so does his popularity a bit (it's a cult sort of thing) as well as a little change in his bio. Nothing too major but it gives more life to the character DAVE: Eddie Peak: I think almost everyone has a least had a look at the supremly good Mark Cuban does DaVE diary and said OMG. People read it and fell in love with it's characters and one of them was Eddie Peak. In the C-verse Eddie's gimmick is currently the rather bland "The Hardcore Assassain". However in Mark Cuban Peak was given the rather excellent gimmick of being a cross between a mental patient and a The Great White Shark with a love of first blood matches. IMO, a gimmick which should be pasted into canon. Jack Giedroyc: Another character reworked to amazing heights. Giedroyc seemed to be inspiried by CM Punk in some ways but he still comes off a little bland. Now here come four words to change all that..."The Wrath of God". Part farce, part insane, the gimmick that gave a worker a helmet but made him a god, the Mark Cuban diary won many fans just for this one gimmick. Total orginal, i nominate it for canon. BHOTWG: Tadakuni Toshusai: Despite beening the tag partner of Koshiro Ino in the C-verse, Toshusai "The Shocker" just came off as a bland midcarder for BHOTWG. However there came a man who changed all this...TigerKinney. He took Toshusai and but him in a rather odd tag team, with leading BHOTWG junior Marihito Masuko. With the help of some face paint, a heel turn and a little storytelling, P.I.N.K. was born. It's the tag team that would grow in popularity and number in TigerKinney's diary. But anyways, the fact is that both Toshusai and Marihito Masuko are default members of the BHOTWG roster and this tag team really added alot of character to both of them, if not BHOTWG. I nominate the P.I.N.K gimmick for Tadakuni Toshusai to become canon. Non-promotion specific: The Cult of the Grey Dragon: Popping up in more than one diary is the stable known as The Cult of the Grey Dragon. Normally the combo of Acid, Plague and one other member, it's a stable that could really show up in any C-verse promotion, any time, depending on the need for it. Not as easy to do due to the highly talented workers in it and them being in separate feds, but a possiblity. So now i leave this to the considerion of the Grey Dog staff and open the floor for someone else to nominate a character from one of the many great diarys in the forum that should make canon

I fully full fully support all of the above, I'm sure Adam has read JSilvers, TigerKinneys and Monkeypox's diaries, seeing as how popular they've all become. At the very least, the mania behind Jim Force needs to be included, without a doubt. I also think some of the story ideas and gimmicks from shipshirt's great Championship Wrestling from Boston diary, Marcel Fromage's amazing Subscribe to the ROF Newsletter diary, and NoNeck's Secrets of the Ring Volume Two: Peter Michaels and SWF 2011 diary should be considered as well. The Boston diary is the best utilization of the "bottom of the barrel" indie talents I've see in any active diary. Fromage's ROF is the best of any C-verse UK diary on the board, some really great ideas in there, especially when it comes to utilization of foreign talents and tag teams. And the SWF 2011 diary is such a great source for character development, his rendition of Monkeypox's Cult of the Grey Dragon, the personalities he's placed on Jack Bruce and Greg Keith, just a great creative diary. EDIT Also, Dragonmack's NYCW diary, some great stuff to be considered for canon in there to. Some great tag team combos in there, I also like the use of guys like Sam Pratt, Frankie Perez and all the new workers he's signed and made established indie stars (especially the luchadors).
mullet-having
This may well have replaced "owl-flavored" as my favorite hyphenated word. Some of these ideas I've stated before in other threads, but some have made their way into my own C-Verse mods. They're all for workers who appeared on the SWF roster in 2007 or could work for the company in 2008: If SWF follows conventional wisdom and popular demand from the board in taking on a women's division in 2008, then I think Sam Keith should have taken off a good chunk of 2007 to serve in a "Fit Finlay"-style role. Allowing players to each handle Keith's return in their own way could be a fun opportunity. Angry Gilmore drops the "Angry" from his name to become Tom Gilmore, and is a sometimes-ally to the Biggz Boyz. Gilmore's recent onscreen attraction to the Biggz Boyz' manager, Jessie, has made Bart jealous and could lead to some tension down the line. Mikel Alonso and Inky the Squid Boy both join the Underwater Union. Neither man succeeds in filling the hole left by Calamari Kid, who left the company in the summer due to frustration with the direction of his character. He now spends his time with DAVE, CZCW and OLLIE. Kurt Laramee has a very public creative dispute with the SWF booking team and is more or less blackballed from the company. Having burned his bridges in SWF and DAVE and with no hope of finding work in TCW or USPW, he tries his hand at booking a European garbage promotion.
