crayon
(Forgive me if this already takes place, but I haven't noticed it yet) Atm when a worker's skills or abilities increases, you get a little note about it in the road agents notes. But as far as I can tell, that's pretty much all the details you get. I'm not saying that I want percentages back or anything, just that if your worker actually increases a grade letter (or +/- increment) you're told something like "[X Worker] has increased from D to a D+ in Brawling" Just this way you can keep track of your workers pretty well without having to keep checking the roster overview. Rob4590
Thats exactly what it tells you at present - you only get the message about increased abilities when they DO cross set boundaries. In general, all your wrestlers skills will increase nearly every time they actually have a match - maybe only by 0.1%, but they do generally increase (obviously with contributing factors of age, current skill (high level stats increase more slowly than very low ones) etc)
crayon
Ah okay, well if I'm reading you correctly when it says "so-and-so has increased their microphone abilities" that's their grade rating increasing? In that case, my assumption that their skills only increased when that notice popped up was wrong, but I still stand by my request (with a slight modification). And that's that I'd like it to be less vague and actually tell me what their new grade rating was and what their new one is. With a decent sized roster, just telling me it's increased but not elaborating still means I've got to go bring up their profile>skills & abilities screen and find out what their new rating is, since I'm not going to be able to remember everybodies. Marcel Fromage
You sure about that, Rob? Especially when I run tag matches or battle royals, many workers would appear to go up in a certain skill every single time. Jonni Lowlife in my ROF game, for example, increases his technical skills every time he gets in the ring. But at the end of every month I go through every worker to look for skill increases, and generally he will only go up a grade in say chain wrestling once a year max. I think at the moment the system is kind of okay - you get a message to show you who is improving more in a particular skill than is average from the road agent notes. But if you want to really keep tabs on the wrestlers' skills, you have to go the extra mile with a fine toothcomb in the tracking skill progress screen. In a way, I like that, because if you're prepared to put in the extra work, you learn more about your roster. Which is kind of how it should be. Irish Wolf
I've checked a few times and I've found that in a given month I'll get a few notes about a workers stats improving but none of them have actually gone up a letter grade.
Rob4590
you only get the message about increased abilities when they DO cross set boundaries.
I've just quoted the important bit in my previous post - the boundaries may well not be the same boundaries as the grades, but in my experience there are specific boundaries - this may be as small as going from x.0% to x.1% in a skill - if you look carefully, in the first couple of shows that you run in any new game, you get LOADS of notes about improvement - why? Because everyone's skills start at an exact x.0% amount - and then when they have their first improvement, it moves to x.1 or x.2 % - thus triggering the note. The boundary, I mean. I've never seen a note generated for a worker who improves less than 0.4 (and yes, I track these things :p).
