downloading

ok after downloading a mod how do i add it to tew.Srry i am very new at this thanks mike

load up TEW and create a new database and name it what ever you want the mod to be called, exit TEW go into wherever you have TEW installed locate the data folder in there will be a folder with your new database name enter that folder and copy over all the mod files you have downloaded, load you TEW again and the mod will be ready to play

Once you have downloaded the mod, use WinRar to extract the files to a folder on your computer where you can find them. 2. Load up TEW. Go to the Editor and create a new database, name it whatever you like. 3. Go to your TEW root folder and go into the data folder. i.e C:\Programs\GDS\TEW\Data 4. Go into the folder that is named the same as the database you created. 5. Copy and paste the files you downloaded and extracted into this folder, overwriting anything that it asks. 6. Start up TEW and your mod should be playable.

I'm sure what you mean by software to download mods with. Its your web browser that does the downloading. All you need other software for is extracting the files once downloaded.
