Scapino1974
With the impending arrival of TEW2008, I thought I would take a moment to thank the people who put such hard work into creating mods of every kind. I especially want to thank those people who put such great effort into writing storylines and then sharing those storylines. I know how much work goes into crafting a good storyline and I appreciate it. That being said, I have two friendly suggestions. First of all, please check the "grammar" of your storylines for mistakes. Make sure that when you share your creations, people won't be frustrated because something about your storyline doesn't work. Allow me to give an example. I've recently used a few storylines that were written by someone else (and although I don't know who it is, I wouldn't name names anyway). In some of these storylines, I've found some doozies, the most aggravating is the fact that the author, when calling for a tie in a match, simply set the winner as "Side 5" instead of using the "Draw" setting in the editor. As you can imagine, when I hit that match, the storyline locks up and won't proceed. I wind up evolving the match into an unchained storyline to get around it. This can best be avoided by taking the time to give your storyline a test run to see if there are any problems. Or, at the very least, familiarize yourself with the way the new editor works and will handle things like ties. Second, if your storyline calls for an angle that isn't included in the default database, please include it. I haven't run into any problems where someone didn't do this, but like I said, it's a friendly reminder. Thanks for your time. I look forward to seeing what everyone has up their sleeves.
