djthefunkchris
First Suggestion: Be able to include a worker in more then one storyline at a time. Explanation: Using two possible roles (Or more...for ease lets go with two). Major Role: Can be used in another storyline, Only as Minor Role. Minor Role: Can be used in any other storyline roles. Explanation: I like using story lines, that connect sometimes. Example... I might like to use my Monster in a "Monster Push" to get him up the roster into the Upper Mid or Mid card scene quickly. To do this I often want to use another worker that is already in a storyline, that this will not hurt, and might be able to actually help their storyline as well. One thing I've done in this exact scenario, is use both character's in one storyline, making the storyline up myself.... Winning streak/Losing streak. One character is my "Monster" in the winning streak, the other my "Loser" that is in a losing streak. The loser of course gets taunted by another worker till the outcome is him beating someone that is surprising. The Winning streak of course Win's it all establishing himself on the roster. The problem is that you have to have "like" worker's... One's that don't hurt the losing streak TOO MUCH, and ones' that a Monster would believably be able to go up against right away, coming in as a New guy. If you could use both of these people in each other's storyline (one's that are already in place, such as the default one's), Major in their own, minor in the other.. It would really help you "connect" allot of things together. Another example would be cross branding feuds, in which each have their own little things they are doing in their own brands (as minor character's in those story lines... utilizing several character's from their own respective brand). I have been able to work around this, and it's just time consuming, not hard... However, it would be a great burden if you didn't have to make brand new storylines every time you want things like this to happen. I have no idea how easily the game engine/coding would be to do something like this, and I imagine it's probably ton's harder then it sounds. SECOND SUGGESTION: Merging two story lines into one. Example: Using the same example as above, we have a winning streak, and a losing streak... Being able to combine the two major role's of those story lines into a new storyline using both of these character's as major roles. Explanation: You have the winning streak going up the card, and the losing streak going down the card. Let's say you want those two to feud. It would be nice to be able to take the momentum/heat from both of these story lines into a combined one. This would also be nice to use for two different story lines going on in different brands, then using the momentum off of both to do a giant cross brand feud. As it is now, we can only evolve one storyline into another, not two story lines into a new one (This would also help the first suggestion if that's just not going to happen). BadFurDay
Seriously seconded. I remember the first game of TEW I played, decided to put 8 main eventers in a two-elimination tournament, where eventually only two remained, AJ Styles who was defeated once in the tournament and Samoa Joe who had a clean streak. Styles won the bout over Joe, and therefore won the title, leading to the logical continuation of the storyline where Joe claimed he had another shot, and it all continued for 2 months until the next PPV. Little did I know that this would cause 6 of my main eventers and upper midcarders, those who were caught in minor roles in this tournament, to be stuck with that storyline until the blow-off, forcing me to main event all my shows with some matches either including AJ and Joe, either made of midcard talent. It would be really awesome for noobs like I was not to run in such issues. Loving the second suggestion aswell, in my current game I'm having a Chris Harris vs Booker T feud, and just brought James Storm and Goldust in my fed, who are feuding which eachother. I'd love to turn this into an AMW reunion vs Booker & Goldust reunion feud, but for that I'd have to get rid of one of the storylines in the current system, and therefore have to rebuild all the heat (which would be bad at the time, since I have no other main event feud running coming out of a big PPV). Dolfanar
An alternative would be to allow us to DROP minor players from storylines. That way you would still have only one storyline per wrestler, BUT you wouldn't be locked in as much. The OP's suggestions would obviously be better/more comprehensive, but this may be easier to include. In BadFurDay's example, he could have dropped everyone but Punk and Joe from the storyline, and had them move on to bigger, better things, and yet still continue the Story of Punk v. Joe. As to mixing and matching storylines, I used to do that all the time. Example storyline 1 Joe vs Angle Storyline 2 Scott Steiner brainwashes Petey Williams Book Joe vs Steiner and have Petey and Angle get involved. They don't all have to be part of the same angle. An Angle <> a matchup all the time.
djthefunkchris
I could go for that, but I don't know if it would be easier or not.

Eisen-verse
A great sign that Adam really is paying attention to the masses about what they would like to see in the new game! Shows a true "developer for the people"! Looking forward to this game soo much right now!
