biga_lane
It would be cool to be able to contract with networks to run commercials for your events or tv shows. You could go about it the same way you would request negotiations for tv shows. Then this would help boost your attendance and viewers. This could even be linked in with advance booking. The catch would be that tv ads would cost you money. The rate would be determined on the size and the style of the network, and if you wanted to be more specific there could be different rates for morning, mid-day, or primetime ads. Just a thought. biga_lane
The idea has a similar effect to advanced booking. Is that more work, less fun? Increasing your audience and viewiers brings in more revenue, then you can hire better workers, and have more "fun". click, click, click, click, done. Boy that was alot of work :)
Togg
i sort of like this idea, more so with smaller companys, using a very small promotion with little popularity and lots of money could use this. helping boost the attendance of shows, raising awareness of the promotion and its tv or ppv shows. might add radio, newspaper and othe types of advertising to? Eddy Snow
isn't this in already under marketing department?
djlightning
The only thing about this that would prehaps be interesting would be the possiblity of advertising you show's during the competitions shows. Sort of like the WWE and TNA are doing in real life. Other than that I'd see no real advantage in taking the automated advertising and making it manual. I could see having different settings for advertising, certain events as well as level of general advertising, if that is not already in. So like Wrestle Mania: Massive, Judgement Day: Default, General Advertising: Medium. Something to that effect.
