gazwefc83
Which push do you guys give yourself as the booker? I tend to be a Colour Comentator or a Road Agent. Im usually tempted to be a wrestler but never know what stats to give myself
Maximilian_WWW
I'm one of those guys who has to be the best wrestler in the world ;) . So I usually wind up in the main event. I try not to give me to many title reigns though.
Wink
I usually am an authority figure i never wanna be a wrestler because i would book myself to win everything i can :D
Blasphemywebleed
I usually go as a road agent, i've done a few games as a wrestler but never made myself more than a midcard jobber.
Irish Wolf
I have three different user characters I like to use Simon Munoz - Standard Announcer/Commentator Simon Says - Sleazy Manager The Missile/Lobo Solitario - Very Low Skilled Super Junior
Shmoe
Normally, I'm the solid midcard guy. But I found a render that I had to make one of the most talented guys in the game world, behind Tommy Cornell and Sean McFly, maybe two or three PGHW guys. It works well because you always have a guy who can put on great matches.
AfRoMaN36
I always create myself as "Big Poppa Kev" A super junior with some mic skills. And even though I always intend for me to be a midcarder, I always end up main eventing... while dating a hot diva.:o
shamelessposer
I usually put myself in the role of manager/commentator/authority figure, but sometimes I go ahead and play an in-ring talent instead. When I do play an in-ring talent I try and be somewhat realistic by giving myself decent microphone skills, just enough high flying ability to get seriously injured, some garbage-fu, good selling and decent-ish performance skills. It's basically the Shane McMahon treatment.
Self
I used to just ignore my character, but now I just create a new guy off the top of my head, who isn't supposed to represent me at all. The last one was a Pirate, who languished in an opener spot
Sigilistic
Lately I've been using one of two characters. Will Storm: A rising star with Tommy Cornell-level skills who was cut down by injury in his prime and forced to take a backstage role, usually as road agent but sometimes as a colour commentator or manager. The Booking Committee: Not actually a character, but rather an amalgamation of all the people on the booking staff. I usually do this when I begin a game as an owner. Dischord
My current game I started out as a wrestler but stopped after only 3 matches. I lost them all. Haha. Actually, when 08 comes out I've got a legit back story so when I start my new game, it will be like picking up from where I left off. (I'm currently creating a database made from the info in my game so I can convert it) The story is that my character Stuart Rickman decided he wanted to be a wrestler full time again and not a booker, so he convinced Mr. McMahon to hire his friend Rick State. This way I can continue the same game and not be entirely pissed that I don't have all my best shows and stuff from before.
Nevermore
I always go for an authority figure... try not to use myself too often and become like Vinny Mac, though. It's a bit dumb actually because (particularly when booking indies) I really would be more believable as a wrestler or, at least, a bodyguard, being 6'8". Any promotion where the commissioner has four inches on the title holder seems a tad strange :D. Quote The Raven Nevermore
Michael Wayne
MW always plays a heel commentator. ;)
Comradebot
I typically use a different character every game, but one or two have popped up: Aaron Stingray: Young prospect out of Australia with mic skills on the level of The Rock, and an above average high flier as well. Closest I've come to creating a god character Gerald The Toff: A retired British wrestler who now works as Colour Commentator, Authority Figure, or Manager, depending on what I do or don't have. El Buitre: A Colombian luchadore with decent luchadore stats. Basically a fixture in MPWFs midcard right now. Cpt. Roger Ironblood: My 1975 character. Solid brawler with some slightly below average technical skills. Just by wrestling the young Dan Stone his popularity has shot up a bit, and coupled with the departure of the vast number of people too good for me (or signing to SWF) he's probably about to be forced into the Main Event scene. Remianen
Remianen is always an announcer or color commentator, using the 'Gentleman' gimmick (works face or heel). Since I only run women's promotions, I can't push myself as an in-ring competitor. He can RA matches when needed, and do backstage interviews/managing duties as well. I do have one game where the user character is an active worker and though she started off as hands down the best, most over worker on the roster (she's Kate Avatar to the 8th power), she's also managed to elevate the likes of Suzanne Brazzle, Michelle Cox (aka Katherine Goodlooks), Cherry Bomb, Yori Toyoshima, and Megumi Nakajima to national icon status. She's only a 6-time world champion (and usually that was done to bridge for someone else's elevation) and spends more time working with mid/upper midcarders than main eventers (even though she's STILL the best worker on the roster). Dragonmack
My most well known one is David Mack, who is a re-named Jack Avatar character for my dynasty and he is a main event level wrestler. But most games I usually have my 'booker' be a combination color commentator, announcer, manager with decent popularity and entertainment stats.
