The signs are all there: a new culture fighting back against those that hold it down, a spirit that lives through anyone in contact with this counter culture making them feel like this is not just something they're a part of, but something collectivley they own and look at as one of their own. For the longest time it was Extreme Championship Wrestling, but that ship is now dead and buried. Yet from it's ashes nearly a decade later sits Ring of Honor, the premier wrestling organization in the United States. It's wrestlers are a step above the rest. They eat, sleep and breath wrestling, and through that dedication ROH has become the shining light for those who want to see athletes, not cartoon characters. It is April 2008 and ROH is hoping to continue the trend of being a step above. It is now the time ROH approaches new heights. Not just PPV, but television as they expand their product in hopes of becoming an equal to TNA, not just a nuisance. It is with this that we embark on an Era of Honor! The show is already shaping up nicely with the double main event officially signed tonight! In the Main Event of the night it'll be an ROH World Title match as champion Nigel McGuiness takes on the Age of the Fall's Necro Butcher in what is sure to be a violent war. It'll be hard hitting affair as Nigel looks to continue his winning ways against a man who literally shows no fear, and claims he'll die inside a wrestling ring. Expect to see some blood this Saturday! In the second half of the Double Main Event it'll be a four corner survival to announce the next #1 contender for the ROH World Title. We will see Bryan Danielson vs Austin Aries vs Roderick Strong vs Claudio Castagnoli. All four men have history together, and all four covet the ROH World Title more then anything else in their lives, which will make for quite war this Saturday.
