sabataged
Over the past few days/week I been doing different sims with the default c-verse data just watching trends and such with the feds. I noticed if you bump the Modern stat up for feds product the don't tend to drop down in size. For SWF and TCW I bumped their modern to medium, and after 5 different sims of 2 years neither dropped below International after hitting it. But with out changing their modern, both dropped down to Cult at least once in all 5 sims. Everyone is always looking for a way to keep WWE from dropping in Real World mods I think this might be a way. It might not be the most realistic product setting but it might actually keep them from dropping. I noticed this whole modern trend after simulating 3 years in the real world just to see how it turned out, and ROH went from regional to Global in three years time. I compared their product to Remi's Neat Product from another thread and noticed they both had Modern as a Key Feature, so I thought this might be a key to a promotions success. alden
i could see wwe having modern at medium. They have some decent flyers *maybe more realistic a few years ago*. I did not think it affected the way a show was rated though. I though it just affected who was pushed more.
Remianen
Dammit! You just HAD to go and dispel the illusion! Couldn't you just leave the curtain alone?!?! As a general rule, from all I've seen and my various testing, a product element has to be at medium or higher to have a discernible effect on matches and shows. Thus, having modern at 'low' does little to no good for a promotion. Modern in 07 is the one element I found that works positively with pretty much everything. That's mainly because most DBs (including the C-Verse) have far more workers who can work an uptempo, vaguely aerial style match than those who are pure technicians or brawlers. Heck, even many of the pure technicians have fair to good aerial skill. Thus, Modern at Medium or better allows a promotion to work an exciting, fast paced match style that seems to get the most out of every roster. I'm sure in your simming, you found that people like Aaron Andrews and Marc DuBois shot up the card and wound up headlining inside of a year or two as well? alden, it affects the show and match ratings BECAUSE it affects who is pushed more. With a modern style promotion, the workers who can work that style well tend to do a lot better than they would otherwise. This causes them to get over quickly and thus, be pushed more. The AI doesn't discriminate. A Shelton Benjamin would be HUGE in a modern style promotion run by the AI (assuming low superstar quality doesn't hamstring him).
