takertitan
I am about to start a game with DAVE and had a few quick questions: 1. With its product as it is, i should be doing the following: A) Use gimmics that are risky(Above a C atleast) B) Use gimmics that are highly subtlety(Above a C atleast) C) Have all my matches as hardcore/brawl based. 2. I should sign people that are: A) Half decent on the stick B) Half decent brawlers C) Half decent hardcore skills any other suggestions would be very helpful. I have never ran a hardcore/risky fed, so whatever you think might get me off the ground would be great.
paulskln
they are high in hardcore so that would be the type of matches i would book. they have as follows in the current roster regular wrestler = 9 entertainer = 1 puroesco = 0 spot monkey = 0 luchador = 0 cruisers = 3 super junior = 1 technician = 1 mma cross = 0 brawler = 12 psychopath = 0 so go for plenty of brawlers and regular workers. gimmicks are as follows risk subtlety machine 0 22 punk 50 21 no gimmick needed 0 89 power and paint = 3 20 08 extremist 50 47 mountain man = 2 20 18 psycho 50 23 traditionalist 0 65 gangsta = 3 50 34 bodyguard 0 18 clean cut 0 17 legitimate athlete 0 36 chosen one 0 76 old school face = 3 0 16 hired gun 20 30 cult leader 90 90 show stealer 0 38 armed forces 50 15 loner 20 50 degenerate 90 22 preacher 90 78 i would say as the crowd expect to see 20% angles i would have a few decent mic, acting looks to keep them happy. foolinc
Actually, the biggest thing that you have to running a DAVE promotion is that they are first and foremost a CULT promotion, so you are going to have to please the fans by using wrestlers that have decent basics. LFC_chris
Whenever I play as DAVE (which is quite often as they're my favourite) I always lose money at a rapid rate to the point where I end up giving in as I can't see a way out. What's the best way to stop DAVE losing so much money?

Don't sign expensive free agents right away. Get a PPV deal as soon as you can.

I may try Rob's advice and run weekly PPVs, and see if that helps out at all.
