Everyone else having a little trouble getting used to the new booking in general? I've done several demo games with a few different databases and promotions. It seems like the AI out books me every time  Which for the ones of us that has had the past games, is quite shocking. I love how its a bigger challenge now. Before TCW and SWF would put out C+ to B- shows all year long, and eventually drop. Hell now they putting out anywhere from B to A shows. Same with WWE in the little real world mod I was messing with. They even ran B and B- shows when they used to be lucky to get a C+ in some of the data I played with. On a side note...anyone found a good product setting yet?

I also love how it's become more challenging... Even though my first show I booked as SWF ended up coming out as a C+. I even threw some great matches on the card and what I thought would be some good angles.. but... no. I'm always really bad when I first start a game.. I have no idea who I want to feud with who and with a roster like SWF... There seems to be so much talent (however most of them are heels) that I have no idea who I actually want to push! All in all, I love how it's more challenging... I Just hope I can become a better booker so I don't loose my job. haha. I don't want to spend a year unemployed not being picked up by anyone.
Maybe product means a little bit more now.
I think, that's it. I'm doing pretty well with my (small) company / matches relative to most other feds. But when I see, that some organisations on my level just throws around A- and B-matches, I'm totally speechless. But I guess, this depends on the different products. btw: Does anyone of you get your momentum work? I'm totally screwing that up. Even my top guys end up with D or C- Momentum. My "hot"-list is empty and my "not"-list filled with F-momentum guys. Ehm... Yeah... Please... HELP ME! ;-)

I'd disagree with the assertion that it's "harder" now. It's not. The game just doesn't allow you to slack like it did in 07 and 05. If you keep your booking on point and pay attention to the world around you, the game is still as "easy" as it was in the past. Many of the diary writers from 07 are probably having zero difficulty in 08 (James Casey, Scapino, infinitywpi, Marcel, etc) for that very reason. I'm sure I won't be refuted when I say that I think (key word there: I THINK) TEW08 is/was Adam's way of tightening things up so "cheap" tactics aren't as rewarding as they were previously. Heck, I remember 07 squashing a cheap tactic I used to use in 05 (looks based angles. Remember the t-shirt shooting position on your roster? :p) so this would stand to reason. Basically, this time around, we're given the tools to make booking a bit easier BUT we're also presented with an AI that uses the same tools and is a bit more common sense in their operations. Anyone remember SWF or WWE starting off a game two bad shows from falling to Cult..........and running shows in JAPAN?!? Won't happen now. :) As for product, mine works decently and is a good starting point for most promotions as it gives a great deal of versatility and customizability.
I also love how it's become more challenging... By that point though overness and momentum will be fully down to my booking rather than how things started, and dammit, Big Smack Scott will be accepted by the fans! :D

I'm bearing it in mind in case things go to the bad - and my submitted to the GDS-verse is already set to use it :D
