Eisen-verse
Do you play them straight? Do you alter the product? (and if so do you do it via the editor or do you try to put it past Sam Strong?) I would love to take them up, however, I'm not really keen on the whole "family friendly" product. I could alter the settings but then I feel like I'm making them something they "shouldn't be". All in all, my SWF game has already gone south and I wanted to start a new game. Cheers.
d_w_w
I play them with the product that they come with - although I do change the match ratio to 70% (Strong is fine with this). Then I sign a non-aggression pact with SWF (otherwise you lose Caulfield and Devine). Then I fire people (like the Hillbillies and some of their jobbers - I prefer to keep Valentine, as he has a good deal of overness that you can "transfer" to your undercard). Then I start hiring people. It's still tough going, as you'll need to figure out some way to keep Bruce, Justice, and Caulfield in the main event. T-Rex and Valentine are your top starting heels and they're both pretty awful in the ring...
bigdaddykraven
I'm running one as Mid Atlantic Wresting and I have altered them a bit since I got the job (in game). Rip seems pretty cool with some of the changes, however I can't get past 25% danger in the match, despite the fact that the game is asking me to change it to 40% That's fine with me. I noticed, when you are doing well with the company (I have slowly been making the company rise despite a recession), Rip gives you a little more freedom. However, he still wants to keep his base company intact. I think after a few seasons under Mid-Atlantic, I'll start my own promotion with the guys I built up. Increasing the angle/match ratio is good though. beyond that I can't say much because I haven't really looked at USPW. I do think you'll need to add wrestlers. They run a weekly TV show and with the repetitive booking rule you'll run into trouble if you don't increase the roster a little.
Gigas
You are also forced to push Peter Valentine to the moon.
jesterx7769
I sign the non-aggression pacts then clean the roster out of the crap (Hillbilly's, etc.) one thing i did was get rid of the womens division and make alicia a manager. I dont really recommend it b/c theres some good female wrestlers to put on good matches. I also sign a PPV deal with PPV4-U I think it is. As far as some workers to sign, I signed Champagne Lover, Alex Braun, JD Morgan, Johnny Martin, and Hell's Bouncer. A few more than that but I cant remember. Oh yeah and Gigas is right, b/c of Peter Valentines relationship with Sam Strong your goals will force you to push him. However in my game him and Caulfied have great chemistry so then can put on a C+ match. Good luck with USPW!
Gigas
if you keep the womens division, sign Wanda Fish and JoRo. I also signed Acid, Shawn Gonzalez, JD Morgan, Jungle Jack, etc.. And as the poster above said, theres a lot of crap to cut. Rushmore, Muscles, Oscar, Hillbillies, Jim Force, Captain USA, Giant Redwood etc.. jesterx7769
You managed to sign Gonzalez? I tried but it looked like it was just going to cost too much and I was worried about making a profit the first couple months.
Gigas
Im losing a ton of money, but USPW has plenty in the bank. Im losing less each month, so Im sure I'll turn profit soon.

Guerrerofan777
Only get rid of the crap that doesn't have either the basic skills or the overness. I usually keep Jim Force because even though he's not that good. His Basics are around the B grade, and that means he can have good matches with most of USPW's main eventers, besides, he's over AND he's Jim Force. rajde
I just pushed whole new talent over the old crap of talent in the promotion. Right now my roster consists of the likes of Champagne Lover, Dan Stone Jr., Johnny Bloodstone, Steve Flash, Jack Marlowe, Shooter Sean Deeley. Right now I am on the rise and Champagne Lover has A overness all-over the US.
soulztnrv1
My first signing was Champagne Lover.

1PWfan
Here's what I did: Firstly, I dropped the match ratio to 60% on TV and 70% on Events. This will help in a big way, as you can give guys like Justice, Brucie and Sam Strong more mic time, which will help the show improve. Secondly, I hired a few guys. Playboy Jake Sawyer makes a good replacement for Mustafa, who stinks and is lousy in the back. Steve Flash can replace Captain USA as Jim's tag partner and brings harmony to the locker room. Eric Tyler is a talented top level guy and can repeat his feud with Chris Caulfield, which is a very USPW way of doing things. Paul Steadyfast has solid skills, as does Jack Griffith, so it's worth looking into signing them up as well. Don't sign less over guys, though: sign guys at the top that can push popular guys down the card, it makes for a strnger overall roster. As for the women's divisision, Wanda, Suzanne Brazzle and Michelle Brendon are all worth a look. See if you can pick up Tamara McFly as well: Sam occasionally lays down a charisma block that stops you signing her (I wouldn't say she's worth annoying Sam over), but if you can get her she#s a decent prospect. Then, turn Bruce heel. He can feud with Justice, and beat up hot prospects like Nicky Champion and Happy Elwood, which allows them to improve a lot (he's got very good fundamentals). Also, fire Sheik Mustafa. I don't bother getting rid of the hillbillies, but Mustafa's the most problematic worker backstage that you can safely dispose of.
