djthefunkchris
Synergy is a program that allows you to use your mouse and keyboard from one computer to however many you have around you (that you can see the monitor for). I just tried it, liked it, and think it will be usefull. I have two desktop computer's side by side. Now the monitor's are side by side. My son's going to use it to two box online games more then anything. Con's. I know nothing of this program. It's free it seems, as I downloaded it and am using it. I would like to hear anything anyone has to say about the program if they have used it. Especially if there is anything bad about it. Pro's... I'm going to use it for TEW modding more then likely. It makes going back and forth a bit less hectic when your trying to make roster's that "Fit". Rather then having to go back and forth checking everything, you can eliminate probably 50% of that by just looking in the game world with one, and looking on the editor part on the other. Your not sharing the same program though, so you might not be able to play it on both (Haven't tried that yet). However, with having a trial version on one, and normal on the other, I'm sure you can see the benefits of it. The biggest thing of course to me is... Your getting the power of the second computer seperately (it's not hooking two monitor's to one machine). Thought someone else might find it as useful as me (if their aren't any known hazards that is). So I wanted to share it.
