CJ_S
One thing I'm not getting... In the injuries list in the editor, where you have the drop down menu for surgery and it has options such as low risk, extremely high risk etc... Are those, what the risk is of the injury needing surgery or..and this is probably going to sound ridiculous...how serious the surgery is? Sorry if that sounds like a dumb question! Comradebot
Pretty sure its how risky the surgery is. A bad surgeon, or just bad luck, can cause a surgery to do even more damage. So in those cases a surgery might help get a guy back in the ring faster, but at the risk of doing serious damage to the worker. Still, might be worth the gamble if he's a key worker who you desperatly need back soon. Worst case scenario, instead of getting a guy back a year from now you don't get him back at all. Either way you'll need to build someone else up to take his place.
TheJoshRollins
The risk means how risky the surgery is. It will only be in the surgery section if surgey is even an option. It's pretty cool.
D16NJD16
I hope botched Terminal Illness surgery isn't an option...
CJ_S
Cheers, that makes sense. So say someone gets injured and it's a bog standard injury which requires bog standard surgery (assuming that makes sense!) it would likely be that you'd set the surgery risk to "Very Low" or something? D-Lyrium
Yeah, if it's something like repairing a simple torn muscle, when put into perspective that's quite a simple task, and is unlikely to go wrong. At the end of the day, it's something surgeons do pretty much daily. Whereas heart surgery, or anything to do with organs or the neck, spine or brain, isn't so easy. A slip could have catastrophic consequences. Other more complicated surgerys like repairing a torn ACL or rotator cuff is more complicated and fiddly, but is unlikely to cause much further damage (it either works, or it doesn't), so would be medium risk. W3LSHY
Can people die from sugery (in game of course :p) or do they just retire/out for longer etc.?
