Just would like to know how do ye improve the popularity of your mid and lower card guys. Apart from giving them victories over higher pop guys. I'm sorted with my Main eventers. Can put 2 of them in a storyline and they'll both improve there popularity until the final match. But usually can end up with the winner on A pop and the loser B/B+. Thats even if the two of them started at B and B- popularity. Anyway is there any way that you can get 2 lower level guys into a storyline that will improve both there popularity. I can't seem to do it with the lower level guys. Anyone got any hints about it? The main thing is that my top guys momentum is all above B. with everyone below it being C+ at most. Is it just down to the momentum? I use the lower carders that get to C or C+ momentum as fodder for the top guys.

Try using a Stable with 2 top guys and put in 2 lesser workers as a major or minor role. If the stable is actually a success, the 2 lesser workers should get a boost in popularity especially if they were major players. Of course if it fails, your top guys go down.

I find that your guys gain more popularity if you DON'T have your main eventers job. Your main eventers should be beating midcarders, uppermidcarders and such regularly. Your midcarders should be beating lower midcarders and enhancement talent to look strong against the main eventers. Your midcarders won't get as much a popularity boost if they're facing other midcarders vs if they're facing main eventers.

going to pay more attention to the stables and get more lower level guys in. Have being getting a good few (stale) warnings about my top guys so have to change there gimmicks. Might do a redo of some of the top lads. Any time i've put guys with good entertainment and low pop, in angles they usually don't increase pop. will try it with some of the lads just below the main event.

They'll all lose to each other and can control that so they all are populary and have good momentum. But your mid carders won't gain pop by losing to main eventers will they?

I put many wrestlers in angles with Sam Strong. It helps their popularity if they are above C+ in popularity. I also noticed if you had someone like a Puerto Rican Power who is massively over in one area can give a popularity boost to any wrestler win or lose. If its on TV, it will act as if the A in Puerto Rico was an A across the board in a loss though. So the person who beat Puerto Rican Power would get a huge popularity boost in every region. At least this happened a few times in my game.

I only job Main Eventers out to people lower to them when I'm plotting to remove em' from the company soon. No sense in all that tasty overness going to waste when you've got a lower midcarder you'd like to use more often.

Jobbing main eventers to midcard guys is a quick fix that always leads to nasty things. Inless you wanna uber-push someone, its best to slowly build them with good angles and good matches. The worker does not have to win all his matches, he just has to look good in defeat(keep strong/domination/protect for road agent notes) and/or put on good matches.

The "super uber" push never works anyway. Its easier to "uber push" someone by having them beat a guy ranked just above them in popularity. Rinse Repeat. If you have an E popularity guy, you should be able to get him to a B- in 7 matches. If you are lucky, it'll take 5 or 6.
