So I am considering running a game with CGC but with a spin on how I have seen people book it in the past. I am considering a promotion pact with NOTBPW for a working agreement due to National Pride to take on the world instead of being rivals. I am also thinking about doing a working agreement with the SWF so they can't steal my talent and so that together down the road we can overtake TCW. How can I freshen up the tried and true storyline of the DeColts vs Elite? I don't like Ricky DeColt being the World Champion just yet espescially since he isn't even the best DeColt brother. Any other ideas or suggestions?

Run the Elite vs Decot storyline to death. Shooter Sean is a stud so make sure you use him quite a bit. If you do the NOTBPW pact and bring guys over, just use them to put over your guys mostly. I did this in my 07 game. In my opinion CGC is one of the more fun feds to book. Since they are in Canada its a little tougher then USA promotions, but they are Cult and have a descent roster to work with.

I am trying to run the DeColt Elite feud however Dan Dalay has caused problems twice. The first time I warned him but the second time I did the riot option. I am worried I may end up losing him because of how he acts. Next time I am firing him. I like Bobby Thomas and Nate Johnson though. Them, Eddie Chandler, and Shooter Sean could carry on the feud pretty well I think.

Yeah, DaLay is best buds with Alex DeColt. That's Alex "Your Future Boss" DeColt. Probably best not to annoy him :D Also, I can't believe this has slipped by unnoticed, but it's Canadian Golden Combat, not Canadian Grappling Company ;)

I recently switched from NOTBPW to CGC, because to be honest, boring Canadian dudes having 'good matches' for two hours sounds incredibly dull to me. It's a very interesting dynamic they have in CGC, especially with Ricky holding the belt. In my game I've put the 'Elite' stable on the back-burner, and just tried to tell 4 stories. Steve vs Ricky (World Title) Ricky is the champion, but he's never been able to beat his older brother. They're spending most of the build up fighting The Specialists, trying to build their momentum before the face vs face match for the belt. I'm probably going to give it to the wily veteran Steve, via Flash Pin. No turns yet. Alex vs Dan DaLay - Utter throwaway feud. Giving them something to do. I may turn Alex... Maybe... Jack vs Eddie Chandler - Eddie is basically hitting on Hotstuff Marie, dedicating his matches to her, while running away from an increasingly pissed off Jack. This feud is over huge. Trent Shaffer vs Whippy The Clown (Canadian Title) As one of the only guys with a real gimmick, I'm pushing Whippy huge. Trent has Larry Wood as his enforcer at the moment. It's doing okay ratings, helped by Trent's great momentum. I'm still looking for something to do with Ryan Powell. Shooter Sean bores me, but is a solid jobber to the DeColts. Youth Energy (Stylin' Shane and Thrilla' Rivera) are beating up all of the heel teams, and Champagne Lover is getting the Goldberg treatment. I lost Eric Tyler to SWF really fast, which is a shame because I planned to trade him to TCW so I could borrow Edd Stone for a few shows. Overall I'm looking to add some more FLASH to things, whereas at first glance, CGC seems to be a boring NOTBPW clone.

I love CGC, you supliment their already awesome roster with guys like Acid, Larry Wood and Mainstream Hernandez.. easily one of the strongest roster in the game. Also, George allows for some pooping around with the product.. I usually up the match ratio and modern stat, works really well.
