Carl1000000
Well, now that Hurrymode has gone and I cant find their download, does anyone know whether a current day pack is underway at the moment? I've searched about but all I can find are mods set in the past and alternative mods. I like The Fall mod, and I like T-Zones work, but I only play for the current day mods. I've delayed buying the game until one comes out but I'm begginning to wonder whether ones gonna even come out in the near future.
GardnerFTW
I would guess the Behemod! would probably be your best bet that I know of. Michael Wayne
they made their own mess. I knew they used T-Zone for the update. And despite this, they didn't even have the data right. The Tara working MCW isn't the same Tara. Funny that the whole discussion came up because I questioned people being able to freely use T-Zone and someone apparently quoted Forlan saying the data was free to use and edit as we wanted. Seeing that thread seems proof enough any "Statement" was false. as for the data, I'm only aware of one person undertaking the effort and he was working in it for 07. Whether he's planning on doing it for 08, I have no idea. Canada was doing updates, even his wasn't very accurate. As testament to the worker disputes in his threads. Me personally, I was going to, but it's too damn much effort. I can see why Forlan stopped. And with my lacking interest in the current wrestling scene, I'm finding I'd rather stick with the C-verse. So I guess that means I'm out.
Chriswok
Michael Wayne, I'm sure your a good bloke, but sometimes you need to get off your high horse. You come across as some unspoken authority on these boards at time, its starting to grate. As for the 'statement' look here: http://67.19.230.90/~arles/forum/showthread.php?t=31705 Forlan's thread to his new mod, within that you can clearly see he's said you can use T-Zone data. -- On Topic: There's a few being made, some are hoping to come out in the next few weeks, others in a few months. Just have a look around on the board for the threads :) I'm working on one, but couldn't give you an ETA on it
Michael Wayne
As for the 'statement' look here: http://67.19.230.90/~arles/forum/showthread.php?t=31705 Forlan's thread to his new mod, within that you can clearly see he's said you can use T-Zone data.
exactly. So what was the big issue then?
Vladamire Dracos
I think a number of us had a hand in getting Hurry shot down, myself included, but as Michael Wayne said, they made their own mess. The issue came from them using T-Zone way before that statement from Forlan allowing T-Zone's use in mods (they were doing Hurryzone for TEW '07 for pete's sake) and claiming that it was all their own work/Only 5% T-Zone, coupled with the fact that they used a "people used our work without permission" defense when called on it. It was as plain as day that they were using T-Zone without giving credit and trying to pass the work as their own. Check out the Behemod beta, it's based on T-Zone (with credit given) but with a lot more added. Check out my last post in the thread to see all the promotions in the data. It's fully playable (although work still needs to be done on it). The latest version can be found right Here If you liked the Hurrymod, this is similar in that it's a large real world database covering a great many promotions all over the world. I think you'll find it's superior in many ways though, and I'm not just saying that because I had a hand in working on it. ;)
sabataged
Hurryzone was way to damn big anyway. Not even playable in my eyes.
