A couple questions

Recommended Posts

I've been playing for some time with the DOTT scenario and built a Gaijin superstar from the ground up. I finally landed a contract with NJPW, but it's where I'm working as Enhancement Talent. I'm not exactly clear on this, so if someone could clear it up for me, I'd be very appreciative. Another question is how can I raise my charisma? I figured it would be through watching old Wrestling Tapes (that hopefully include interviews) so I could pick up a pointer or two from those before me. Thanks in advance.

An Enhancement Talent is the lowest part of the card. You're going to have to get more overness to become A Opener, and then A Lower Midcarder. After that A midcarder, Upper midcarder and then A Main Eventer. The charisma one I'm not too sure about. Try fiddling around with your Fitness Regime until it says you'll start gaining it.

Charisma I think mostly is the watching wrestling tapes, I usually have it somewhere around 10-15% and keep gaining. Just keep checking "Expert Opinion" until it says it will go up, or if maybe it's peaked and can't raise anymore. And like Dwight said, Enhancement Talent just means you aren't very popular in Japan yet so they're gonna start you off at the bottom rung, even if your overness in another country is 50. It also depends on the Promotion size though, the bigger they are the more overness you'll need to be higher on the card.

Not to nitpick, but an enhancement talent is someone whose entire job is to make other people look good. It's not so much the bottom rung on the ladder, as Enhancements will never, ever receive pushes; they're the ground upon which the ladder rests. :) As Xenodracon and Dwight mentioned, though, once you actually start beating people, the 'bookers' will push you up to Opener. I'm also not positive on Charisma. I've always been under the impression that watching wrestling tapes helps out your Psychology. Charisma, I believe, is a combination of Looks and Microphone Skills.

Enhancement Talent quite simply is a JOBBER. He's the no-name you would see in a squash match to make the other man look good. considering the point in your career joining up would be a great way to get noticed. But if you stay too long you'll never be able to be pushed above that status, unless you work really, REALLY hard at it.
