TommyDreamerFan
I don't want to sound like a broken record with everyone else. But I feel the need to express to GDS how satisfied I am with this purchase. This is the my favorite TEW since the first one came out. And it all has to do with how simple it is to run compared to 07. Back in 07 I don't even think I finished a game. I'm now 3 months into the Cornellverse data, and to date is probbly the second longest game I've played since the first TEW. Adam Ryland has taken the simplicity of EWR, and jacked it on roids. Damn worth of the money. This is also the first time I could really get into the default data too. so theres my praise and two cents.

Before, 3 months was probably my record in an active game - I spent far more time in 07 just watching the world pan out (which will also be even better in 08, with heel/face turn notifications etc) than playing because of the time it took to book shows, but I'm loving the improvements made to that aspect. R0CKSTAR
No kidding. It would take me, on average, 30 to 45 minutes to book a show in 07. It felt like work more than it did fun. But the layout is much cleaner this year, and the game is much more fun as a result. It now takes about 15 minutes to book a show, which is phenomenal. Also, the CornellVerse truly is immersive. I'm still looking forward to DOTT and some other retro real world scenarios, but the CV is holding me over just fine. Anyone on the fence about purchasing this game... stop depriving yourself and buy it now!
Frank_Vest
The game is fantastic. The amazing AI, well thought out and detailed C-verse, the fact that each new game has its own idiosyncrasies, the overall challenge to book a good card; all these aspects make TEW 08 a work of art. Mattyc
I have enjoyed all of the TEW games but I would have to say that this latest addition is providing me with the most satisfactory and accessible experience, pretty much any little niggles I had in past versions have been changed and this year I have also been able to get into the Cornellverse which is something I have been wanting to do for some time now, Last year I really tried to make an effort to get into it and I nearly did so but in the long run it failed to click and I was back to the real world mods, This year I can say for the first time that the Cornellverse has 100% clicked with me, the world has been made to feel much more accessible and real this time around with much more effort being made to absorb you in what is going on with Cornellverse characters who are not working for your promotion, I think you get the sense of a world around you and more sense of the characters behind the people within it more than in previous versions of the game. I believe the depth was always there but now you do not have to look or try so hard to find it.
