Effganic 1920 [Organic Data Set]

Recommended Posts

This is a simple organic data set that starts March of 1920. It starts with 9 workers and 1 promotion (47 other promotions to debut between 1920 and 2008). Some titles where added where they were needed. The purpose of this mod is to create a truly unique experience for every one who plays as most all workers will be randomly generated by the game itself. The only constant is the promotions, but they too may not be predictable in how they run things. This is essentially the same data I am using to create my EffVerse mod. BE SURE TO SET WORKER GENERATION TO HIGH VERSION 1.1 RELEASED! It'll be added to my EffVerse mod for sure thought mjdgoldeneye and hakk99 for logo work. Thanks a lot! Very nice. It was similar to mine in that SPW didn't book a show until the last part of the year. I think that's how they racked up so much cash because I think they still get their sponsorship money regardless. I may post a save game of mine in here later tonight. lol I can't really break down everything like Sartagis did above as I'm in the 60's now, but a save game will suffice I think. 3 promotions have officially fallen in my game now, with a little help. They just stopped putting on shows so I set their money to negative. One of the promotions fell from regional to local within a year. I think the Regional Battle system had hand in it though because at one point they were battling 3 other promotions and losing.
This is a tad nitpicky, but Daniel Loiselle's bio states he's Canadian, but his nationality is set as American. :p
Oops. Yeah he's suppose to be Canadian and based in Canada. I'll fix it up for the next release and for my other mods. Thanks!

Updated first post with Television Network logos. I believe that's all of them, but I may have missed one. If I did, let me know. Note, all public access stations have generic logos for the area. Only a few have custom logos. Example: Mid Atlantic Public Access will just use the USPublicAccess file.

Guest Ransik
So with this mod are the actual real life workers all set to debut? Cause this would be a GREAT mod to go through!
When does the first TV station and ppv carrier each debut? (me thinks I have a loooong ways to go before a television deal... like 20-30 years?)
Yeah, I think the first network opens in the late 30's or early 40's. I don't think a PPV carrier opens up until sometime in th 70's.

I've taken the cheap route... Modifying contracts to written, bankrupting VLL so they could become my developmental territory, maxing popularity/skills for like 10-15 of my roster so gaining popularity wouldn't be so difficult... i hate wasting hours and hours playing the game and getting no where. (im just not good at it :)) Love this mod, though, but I am dieing to get a TV deal so I can more easily build up popularity in multiple places. lol I'm stuck in regional and it seems like it's impossible to get the popularity up.. lol I know it's realistic, as promotions don't go from backyard to international overnight, but for a game, it can be boring.

Just curious... what would happen if, say, I turned off the scheduled dates for when the promotions open up? I assume it'd cause minor chaos in the sense that a hardcore fed could open in 1931, but otherwise... would it ruin any balancing aspects of it? Would everything open in the first decade? Now I'm really curious... answer me!

The only problems you'll run into is if/when Sports Entertainment feds pop up. With no TV and no super over workers, they would likely die off fast.
But before I get around to trying that, I've been doing the base Effganic database... in October of 1920, the first ever female wrestler has joined the world... And she's a Super Heavyweight!
lol nice. I've seen a few middleweight females, but never anything above that in any of my data. That would be like Big Daddy V with boobs...well lady boobs anyhow.
