Cooleyvol
Gridiron Glory will debut with the release of Bowl Bound as an online league. The league website is ready to go, pending links for the various reports. I'm not sure at this time, since I don't know how the game will work, just how many human owners I'll allow, but those who might be interested can post said interest in this thread with their contact information, a list of 5 teams that they'd like to run, and their thoughts on the Bowl/Playoff aspect of this league. As I said, we'll debut shortly after release.
AZJAZ
Cooley, I know from OOTP that you run great leagues and I would like to join this one. Here are my choices 1. Notre Dame 2. Wisconsin 3. Ohio State 4. Arizona State 5. Penn State As far as the bowl/playoff system, I would love to see a playoff system. It will give teams an incentive to play tougher opponents because they wont have to worry about finishing in the top 2. You can be in the top 16 and be in the playoffs, I also think it will give more owners a chance to be successful and also give them more incentive to pay attention and be involved in the league. Roger Kaputnik
Teams: 1. Tulane 2. UCONN 3. Fresno State 4. Middle Tennessee State 5. Buffalo Contact: Kramerica99@yahoo.com I don’t like AIM but will get it if I have to. I think AZJAZ is wrong about the playoff system. Playoffs are good if everybody is playing elite teams that will almost always be in the top 16 but not so good if you play a mid-major or lower. I think that bowls would give more teams a chance at the post season. Having said that I am on the fence and could be talked into supporting a playoff. Especially if the winners of the less elite conferences get an automatic playoff slot.
AZJAZ
If a mid major goes 10-1 or 11-0 or something like that you will be in the top 16.
Roger Kaputnik
How about lower than mid-major? What you said about a teams being more willing to play tougher competition would be reversed for the lower to mid-level teams. They would have more incentive to pad the schedule. As I said before, you are right with regard to the elite teams but not everybody is going to want to play elite teams.
BYU 14
count me in? 1-BYU 2-Utah State 3-Boise State 4-Michigan 5-Arizona I vote for a Bowl system........give more owners a chance at post season play. st.cronin
I think it's obvious that a Bowl System will keep more owners active/interested. 1. Duke 2. Kentucky 3. Kansas 4. Northwestern 5. MrClutch
I'm interested!! 1. NC State 2. Michigan 3. UVA 4. Georgia 5. Okla State I prefer a Bowl-based system. Prefer to keep it as realistic as possible from the get-go. Then, after a few seasons... potentially, would then welcome Playoff-based System discussions... Anxiously waiting any news on a release date and start playing, now that Football Season's in full swing. Anybody have any ideas as to when this thing will be released. MrClutch
GridironGamer
Teams: 1. Florida State 2. USC Trojans 3. Georgia Tech 4. Alabama 5. Miami (FL) I would like to see the bowls implemented, if only because the other league I'll be in will be using the playoff system. If many people from that league (FOFC) will be in this one, maybe doing this one with the bowl system would be best.

Doomba
I've been waiting for a well-established league to surface! I'm very interested, Cooley. 1. Florida 2. Utah 3. Oregon 4. Alabama 5. Bowling Green My email is dschmac31@hotmail.com davsch31 @ AOL IM Dave Schmac And I think there should be a bowl system. I'd originally think that top 4 teams play a tourny for the national championship, leaving the rest to bowl games.. but I don't think you can do half-half in this game.. so I'd choose more just bowl games!
