ACCBiggz
Terrible day for journalism and politics in general. He was amazing at his job and was great to watch and listen to. Meet the Press won't be the same, his insights come November will be missed, and just in general we lost a great man today. RIP. :(
mistaken
isn't there a passage in his book about he and his father, where he talks about how young his dad was when he passed? and now saddly he to is no longer with us.
i effin rule
This truly saddens me greatly. I've always been a huge fan of Russert.
ACCBiggz
For those that didn't know who Russert was or realize his impact on politics... turn on any news channel. CNN, Fox, etc. have all broken into their coverages and are just talking about Tim Russert who was employed by NBC. They haven't just broken in to mention the news, they are having roundtables discussing his impact and life. Kudos to all of them, a show of massive respect. TheJoshRollins
Tim was one of the most important journalists ever. He was a loyal man. He was a man with great insight. He could nail you on a question, but he would do it in the nicest way possible. NBC has to find someone now to host Meet The Press, head the Washington bureau, and become the senior VP of NBC. Wow. As a person who is in radio part-time, I'm going to miss watching Tim. He made me feel proud to be in the media, while most people that I share this industry with...don't. djthefunkchris
He was a very nice person, from all that has ever had anything to say about him. The coverage is overboard, but I think that's because a good deal of them are around the same age, as well as the thought of "He's one of our own". I hate to see who has to try and fill his shoe's now. The key words are "Nice Guy". Every single person that has had something to say points that out, as if it's not the "norm". In fact, many say that it is not the norm. Here's to Tim Russert, a person with class.
