BrokenCycle
In TEW 2005, I played as MAW and got really bored by caring too much about a show's rating and constantly re-booking the exact same show to repeat ratings. I put the end to this on TEW 2007 and is was overall a more enjoyable experience. However, I'm now doing a run at PSW and I've got to say I'm already feeling the grind of putting on show after show after show. What are some tips to put an end to this grind? I'm not looking for tips on how to book PSW, but small feds in general. Should you not really care about segments getting E ratings? What's the best way to get someone over? Should you just put your worries behind you and book the promotion as if it were a big promotion on a smaller scale, meaning revolving your promotion behind storylines? Any tips to do away with the grind of being a small fed would be much appreciated.
FINisher
Well. One thing I realised very early on is that you have to be a realistic about the ratings with MAW. They start with F+ in Mid Atlantic, so even if you get a E+ show, it raises the popularity. Also try to think as much as you can about the long term plans and developing the talent. One thing: MAW has many promotion pacts, use them :) I realised that if I run few shows per month, I still can increase the skills of workers by loaning them to other promotions! As with every promotion in TEW-series, the game gets only better the longer you play it. Patience is a virtue :)
