Eisen-verse
Maybe it's because I'm a regional company, however, the SWF just went global within the first two months of my game (at an E and falling in both Economy and Wrestling interest.. So, hats off to them). They seemed to be focusing a lot on gaining interest outside of the States and it really paid off right away for them (something I failed to do when I had a game with the SWF... Maybe that's what one of my downfalls were). With that being said.... The SWF didn't steal any of my workers. I was actually kind of shocked! I'm running a regional company owned by Nemesis called "Radical Championship Wrestling" & while I don't have any major superstars... I do have some main eventers that are around C- in overness. When push came to shove they went for a lot of other established (and some un-established) indy workers but left my roster alone (well, so far.. but it's been like a week since they've gone to Global without any sense of looking at my roster). I for sure thought they would nab up Freddie Datsun or JD Morgan... but thankfully, They didn't jump ship! So, now I don't have to worry too much. I know this may not be all that interesting to others but I was so happy that I wanted to write something up about it. hah. Has anyone else seen something like this happen? And why not make a non aggression pact? :)
Eisen-verse
And why not make a non aggression pact?
I could.... But I was thinking from the mindset of Nemesis. He isn't a big fan of Richard Eisen... So most likely the two wouldn't really sit down and put together a "nice agreement" in any sense. If anything, Nemesis would go to war with his former employer in some way (Which isn't possible right now... Regional vs. Global doesn't look good for me!). So I decided to opt out of any sort of agreement with them. I do, however, have an agreement with TCW (Working Agreement as I could see Nemesis and Cornell working together in some aspect... Both disliking SWF/Eisen for what happened and with Cornell not feeling threatened by Nemesis and RCW... He wouldn't mind swapping some talent.... Which has been heaven for me!) and a working agreement with PSW. With a "War" agreement soon to come against USPW (once we get to Cult... So it's Family Friendly vs. Risque/Cult). Gigas
actually, due to the relationship with Eisen he'd reject the pact anyway :) I made a fed to feud with USPW and made a custom owner who had a hatred for Sam Strong. Ran into that little problem.
The Shape
Interesting strategy by SWF and I'm yet to see them run by the AI so I'm wondering, how did they go about increasing interest elsewhere? Simply running shows or new TV/PPV deals or bringing in foreign stars?
Actarus
Interesting strategy by SWF and I'm yet to see them run by the AI so I'm wondering, how did they go about increasing interest elsewhere? Simply running shows or new TV/PPV deals or bringing in foreign stars?
Usually, they get a UK PPV deal at the onset (you can negotiate w/ PPV carriers at any time, unlike TV carriers), and they already have a UK TV deal in place. All they need to do is run good shows, and they'll get to global, because there's one region in particular outside of North America that's of great importance to them... Back to the original post, in my PSW game, SWF went global and "stole" my road agent Fabulous Frank from me. Considering this guy was a negative influence on the entire locker room, and instigated two fights on two separate occasions, I was very happy to see SWF "steal" him from me.
