iMac
Could someone tell me what kind of people make good teachers in development feds? I mean, should it be Road Agent types with high psycology, or should it be a veteran wrestler with good basics, or maybe both work? Any advice regarding the best way to maximize the development of your workers?
Gigas
Depends what you want your guys to improve in. Well rounded workers would be the best, as they could teach the young guys everything. If you specifically wanted to focus on training people to be high flyers, you'd use a high flyer to teach them.
Remianen
Steve Flash is the perfect worker to train people in a development fed as far as in-ring skills go. Pick manager types like an Emma Chase or Melanie Florence to work up entertainment skills. BUT, keep in mind that this is all assumptive since workers can and do improve in ALL areas, seemingly no matter who they're working against or with. Workrate can give a slight boost (as a worker who is actively working is gaining skill both in the ring and slower when inactive) but I haven't yet seen any evidence that putting exceptional workers in dev feds really gives all that big a boost. I'm still testing though. :) One of my development feds (WINNOW) has people like Saeko Hiroyuki, Lioness Mushashibo, Namiyo Muro, and for a while, Thunder Hike in it. These are competent workers who are proven able to hold their end of a match. But, the workers I've seen in WINNOW who have improved the most, have never worked with the above four "trainers". They're too low on the card to come into contact with them, but they've still improved immensely (Tai is at D- Aerial now, for example).
Gigas
I think they train with trainers on Off days. It doesnt necessarily have to do with being in the ring.
iMac
[QUOTE=Gigas;442295]I think they train with trainers on Off days. Do you want good, solid wrestlers with good basic skills for matches, yet at the same time do you need good road agent types for off days? Which is best, or is the best idea to try and find a balance between the two?
