jesterx7769
So in my USPW game I didn't get the goal of pushing Peter Valentine but now that I have jobbed him out to my liking Sam Strong won't let me fire him. My question is, if I fire him next time he has an incident will he be let go then? Or is something bad going to come of it? If worse comes to shove I will just put him in high risk matches :-)
Guest The Aussie
Originally you could just let their contract run out in TEW07, now the owner will c***block your every attempt to get rid of their buddies so all tat you can hope for is that Valentine and Strong have a falling out. Comradebot
Aye, you're screwed. In a situation like this, you're best option would simply be to keep Valentine over. Atleast then he'll have popularity on his side, which in USPW is enough to keep a worker useful. But if you were to fire him based on an incident... I have no clue what would happen. Try it and tell us what happens :-)
Grudge
yea don't fire him for bad behavior it doesn't work it only pisses him off, Sam just vetos that notion. The only way I know off that would successfully get rid of peter valentine is to get him to B or greater popularity then he wouldn't resign as he feels he's too popular for you. jesterx7769
Yeah I just tried firing him over an incident and it didn't work. Oh well, bring on the barbed wire matches!
Slim Jim
If you were to job him out constantly, have him work high risk matches to ensure his fatigue level is as low as possible, push him as an Enhancement Talent and generally treat him like dirt, would he refuse to re-sign even if Strong offered him a deal at the end of his contract? Grudge
not that i've seen, he hates my ass but still resigns every time thx to ol' sam.
jesterx7769
Yeah from his point of view as mad as he is and if he doesn't work he's still getting money from his good ol' pal. He got into a fight with JD Morgan at my last show though so I am kinda worried something bad is going to happen with him on my roster (like injure JD Morgan next time) If injuries dont work I am going to up his Law problems until he goes to jail for stealing candy from little kids. Kind of seems like something he would do. :-)
Jennie Bomb
Does he have a downside on his contract? If not... just don't use him at all. Let him rot.
jesterx7769
Yeah but by not using him he can still cause problems I think.
Gigas
This is how I got rid of Peter Valentine. Editor: Edit relationships. :) Thats the only way. Even if he gets to B popularity and wants a written contract, cant Sam Strong sign him to one?
gino_montero
You can also edit his contract to where he has one day left if you are going to cheat to get rid of him. (I'm not above that.)
