Comradebot
Okay, I THINK I might've borked this up in my game... Personally, I enjoy em. I've had more than a few random workers pop up who I ended up using and enjoying. Course now, there's that nasty block that's on by default, but the options say "leave blank to disable". Which I assumed meant "disable any restrictions", but after playing a few months and seeing no new workers, I'm starting to think it is more "disables the ability for any workers to be generated." If so, well... that sucks. Sadly an option to effect this once a game has started is non-existant from what I can see, meaning that if I did screw this up like I think I did there's currently no way for me to correct it without restarting my games and redoing several hours of game time. Maybe its just been bad luck and the game has decided to not generate anyone yet, but if not then I beg of Ryland to include in a patch the ability to remedy this issue in a game that's already started. LFC_chris
I don't think they start appearing in the default database until after a certain date. If you go into the editor there is an option somewhere which lets you set when generated workers will start appearing.
Grudge
Yea they won't start appearing with cornellverse till like 2025 Edit: ok i'm sorry you checked that already lol, do you have the options changed in your game to generate workers like in the options section of your saved game? If so then from what I can tell it may very well be a function that disables newly created workers, although that seems highly irrational to me. D-Lyrium
Leaving it blank disables the generator, not the block, as you've noticed. ¬_¬ To have generated workers from the get-go, you need to set it to start at the same time as your game does. The very fact this option exists in this manner frustrates me to no end. Guess I'll keep my games going, on the off chance Ryland does make this fixable in game. Just hate the idea of being several months in and having to restart because I got confused by the poor wording in the editor.
