CVerse Tag Team Suggestion Thread

Recommended Posts

I figured this might be fun and a good way to brainstorm. Who have you made into a tag team in your CVerse game? Who do you think would be a good tag team? One of my most fun tag teams is Champagne Lover and Mario Heroic, both with Ravishing gimmicks, known as "Apex". They're similar in many ways, and it just works! Another I made was Silver Shark and Ultimate Phoenix, but in the 2 games I teamed them in, they had bad chemistry. Regardless, they're known as "Heroes United". :D

In a 2005 game I had: Jungle Force: Jungle Jack & Jim Force I don't remember if they had chemistry or not but I had Dawn the Cheerleader as their manager and they had a year long feud with Samoan Destruction Inc. which resulted in the four men being ranked 1-4 in the year end rankings.

I often end up teaming Insane Machine and Snap Dragon together. My C-Verse Generation Next in one game in 07 was a british invasion of Edward Cornell, Joss Thompson, Adam Matravers, Nigel Svensson and Wade Orson. They ran my fed for a while.
Haven't done this one yet, but it was suggested to me: The Big Problem & The Minor Annoyance would be a heck of a team.
:D I take full credit if you ever get that one off the ground I'm using Shaffer and Perez at the moment. Also Antonio and Raphael seem like a perfect fit - the Italian Stallions, anyone? I'm experimenting with Kashmir Singh and Masked Patriot (because of chemistry) and planning on having Singh playing an immigrant who Patriot is introducing to America. It has a lot of potential, I think, not least because either man can go heel based on the actions of the other - or they could end up best of friends. Dragon Assassin and Huntress Makiko worked for me in 07, while Erik Strong and Max Mayhem were a useful filler team (Strong Mayhem) - shame about the overness disparity these days...

Lessee, currently active teams, Ring of Fire 2013: Extraordinary Men - Extraordinario Jr & El Heroe Mexicano. A remarkable little luchador duo responsible in part for a shock A match against Dos Phoenix (Phoenix II & III, as ever) The Stunners - Black Eagle & Bulldozer Brandon Smith, computer-paired and A* experience together, former Coastal Zone champs and former three-time ROF champs. Very reliable, with only one issue - Brandon has, as yet, little stylistic rivalry in the tag division, it's mostly fliers and technicians. Pure Perfection - Steve Flash (hanging on toward retirement) and Sergei Kalashnov. A nice little team with some experience and gold to build them as a threat. The Professionals - Greg Gauge and Ernest Youngman, champions at the point my dynasty's reached. A seven-month-old team only, but they've seen a lot of action and done well for themselves. The Disrespected - Chojiro Kitoaji & Keith Adams, two former tag champions left behind by their old tag partners and teaming up to get back in the picture. East & West - Marc Speed & Nichiren Amagawa, two submission merchants par excellence and multi-time champions. And, newly added, Buddy Garner & Roy Edison - no flashy name, just two MMA-style serious fighters, partly to pair off against Brandon, partly to get Buddy a little further over.

Anyway, before the hard-drive on my laptop died I was building up Nathan McKenzie & Swoop McCarthy as 'The Destroyers From Down-Under' (somebody on here suggested the name) I also toyed with idea of pairing Jack Marlowe & Jack Bruce as The JJ's but wasn't ready to take Bruce away from the main-event.

I've teamed Matt Hocking with Nelson Callum and they've held the belts in my fed a few times now. I'm not sure why I put them together - they didn't have bad or good chemistry together, but I needed tag teams at the time, so I built them up and it hasn't been a complete failure. I can't wait to have Nelson turn on him. :)
Whenever I'm playing as a larger promotion, I tend to sign Frankie Perez and Remy Skye and team them together for the sole reason that they kinda look similar. It's a good way to get them both over, and then feud them at some point in the future.
Makes sense. They're the CZCW tag champs at the start of the game. I like Remmy Skye alot, too. In one game I ran I drug tested everyone and caught Skye using. I gave him the fatherly approach and he said something like, "I truly apoligise. I swear I will do everything I can to come clean." And he had an instant loyalty relationship towards me.

Along with Trent Shaffer and Frankie Perez... I always team up Remmy Skye and Jacob Jett as 2 grunge rockers. I also teamed up Shawn Gonzalez and (Jungle) Jack Marlowe because they both had great chemistry with JoRO as manager.
