My C-verse version of Lucha Va Voom

Recommended Posts

I started a small regional fed in the south west call Viva La Lucha.. total play on the rela life promotion Lucha Va Voom, a mix of indie weirdos, spot monkeys, luchadors and lots of boobies. I'd like you folks opinions on the promotion stats I used, point out any errors or places I could improve. Traditional - None Mainstream - None Comedy - Key Feature Cult - None (to avoid hostile vocal crowds) Risque - Medium (gotta love those sex sells angles) Modern - Heavy Realism - None Hyper Realism - None Hardcore - Low Lucha Libre - Key Feature Pure - None Daredevil - Low With an 80% Match Ratio and medium heel / face divide. I went super economical with my roster, lots of cheap price tags.. American Bandit #1 (Thomas Morgan) - See below. American Bandit #2 (Cal Sanders) - My 'All-American' Canadian tag team. Daredevil Aero - Member of the tag team 'Team Quest' with Fearless Blue. Dragón Del Arco Iris Jr El Hijo Del Zonk El Médico Extreme Deluxe - Tags with Super Sonic in The Super Extreme Boyz tag team. Fearless Blue - See above, Daredevil Aero. "The Rainbow Fish" Hector Navarro - One of a couple of characters I added to the database, my ultra camp gay luchador. "The Insider" Mark Smart "Cheeky Monkey" Matty Phatty Nomad - Tags with Tempest Appleby as The Canadian Snake Farmers. Rockin' Ryan Turner Roderick "My Rules" Remus Stan "The Man" Manna Super Sonic - See above, Extreme Deluxe. "The Mover From Vancouver" Tempest Appleby - See above, Nomad. The Masked Mask - My user character, renamed The Masked Avatar and poofed up his bio. "The Speed Demon" Velocidad "The Bird Of Flight" Walter Levy - Tags with Navarro in the Good Time Boys tag team. Another character of my creation. "The Machine" Warren Technique "Hippy Chick" Chloe Dean "The Muse" Jemma Griffiths Maryam Vega Monique Persephone Willow Decent roster? Anyone I should add that would fit the bill? Any comments on my promotions stats? Any comments would be appreciated.

I did something similar in 07. I called it Way Out Wrestling and Extreme Entertainment, or WOWEE. It was more like Incredibly Strange Wrestling, with lots of stiffs in silly gimmicks. I would love to see you take this to the level of making logos, belts, etc. and writing a Dynasty.

Firstly, Sex Sells angles and anything involving eye candy have very little to do with Risque, it's all about the TnA Level. Secondly, awesome looking roster :D. Of course, it'd be remiss of me not to mention that you're missing Rex Reeves, but it looks like being great fun nonetheleess. Especially the All-American Canadians ¬_¬
Can someone tell me what the potential rating is for?
It does essentially what it says on the tin. It's the wrestler's potential to become a star. The main use for it is in historical mods, where someone like Steve Austin or The Rock would have Excellent potential; we know that because they pretty much reached it. But it could also be used to pick out a worker who has all the attributes to be a star in the future, someone like the Cornellverse's Kirk Jameson, or Claudio Castagnoli. Although, while questions are welcome, I do have to wonder why you picked *this* thread to ask it in? :P

If you're doing a full LuchaVaVoom base it should be a much smaller match ratio. It should be much closer to 40%-50% matches. As there shows are usually 4 matches with 6 segments of burlesque, plus some comedy bits. As for the other promotion stats, lower the hardcore to very low or none as they really don't feature it.
