Random Hero
I'm getting pretty annoyed at this. I've downloaded the DOTT mod and the 1994 mod, extract both to my data folder, and the only database I have available in the game is 'Default.' Rinse, and repeat a few times, and also uninstalled the game once. Any help?
Adam Ryland
Make sure that they're not "double layered". So Data\DOTT should have the data files, not Data\DOTT\DOTT.
Random Hero
Nope, they're good. The DOTT folder has the data files, then the subfolders. (People, Moves, Belts, etc.)
Adam Ryland
Have you installed two copies of the game? If so, make sure that you're running the one in the set of folders that you've added DOTT too. I know that sounds obvious, but if you're running via a shortcut you might not be aware you are doing it.
Random Hero
Just checked. No luck there either. I even tried running from the shortcut and the .exe in the WreSpi folder itself. I can't tell what the problem is, because as far as I know I've installed everything correctly, and I'm very good with computers..
Adam Ryland
There's only two explanations for a database now showing: either the folder is in the wrong place, or some files or subfolders are missing. If you're sure the folder isn't the issue, check the files and subfolders. You should have 11 data files, plus 5 subfolders (Belts, Logos, Moves, People, Sound). Oh, and they must all be visible and not set to be read only (the files).
Random Hero
Yup, that's what it was, one of the files was read only. I marked the folder to not be read only, but forgot to check the box that says 'Uncheck Read Only for all files and subfolders.' Thanks, Adam.
