Eisen-verse
I tried to find that thread where Adam posted 100 reasons to stay in this summer and play TEW but I couldn't find it. I also looked on the help pop up in the game, however, couldn't find it there either.... So, excuse me if this has been answered before... I just haven't found anything on it. so... What really is a B Show? Is it more like Smackdown to Raw? Or a show like Velocity? I just landed a big show with ACE and wanted to possibly make Supreme TV a "B" show if that meant it was more like a Smackdown to RAW... however, if it makes it a Velocity like show than it's not worth it. Thanks in advance!

Actarus
http://67.19.230.90/~arles/forum/showthread.php?t=29560&highlight=Reasons This is the thread you want. Think Velocity, or Heat. Also, I think it was Remi that stated somewhere that you can only negotiate for a B show (and it has to be a new show) on a network where you already have a show. So I don't think your idea works anyways, but you can experiment with it to figure it out for yourself. Create an experimental database, and have it start in February, so that you can negotiate w/ TV carriers at the onset, and figure out what you can & can't do. djthefunkchris
My opinion... It helps for playing WWE real world mods, when dealing with ECW, without having to redo the whole roster.

No-one would expect to see your top draws on there, and so they're not expecting a great show. It's a chance to use your lesser workers and develop their skills. I also don't think it affects your popularity either way, so you can get away with putting on some pretty poor shows.
Vladamire Dracos
Real world examples of "B" shows: WWE Velocity, WWE Heat, WWE Metal/Jakked, WWE Shotgun Saturday Night, WCW Saturday Night. One could argue ECW on Sci-Fi is a glorified "B" show currently. LFC_chris described them pretty well (although I think he may be incorrect about them not affecting Popularity). EDIT: Found it.
#66: 'B' Shows New to the TV section of the game is the ability to have 'B' shows; these are shows that are acknowledged to basically be for midcard and opening level talent, like the old Heat and Velocity WWE shows. They work in the same manner as regular TV shows, except in two ways; their ratings are considerably lower, and they do not effect the popularity of the promotion. As a result, putting on a great show doesn't particularly matter - nobody expects it anyway - so they can be used to develop lower-level talent who may not get a chance to shine on regular shows, without hurting the promotion's standing. Therefore the advantages is that it can be used to develop talent in a safer environment, the disadvantage is that you still have to pay all the relevant wages and costs, so it can be fairly expensive. The AI will book in an appropriate manner if given a 'B' show, but won't put much effort into keeping them given that it's mainly human players who would want to use them.
Bigpapa42
Adam pointed out at one point that the show would not affect the popularity of the promotion, but it would affect the popularity of the given workers. So putting a main eventer on their and jobbing them is going to affect that workers momentum.

You can't get away with jobbing out your maineventers 'B' show or not. I am however assuming that it'd be harder to gain momentum/overness from a 'B' show. I dunno if this is correct, just my assumption.
The Shape
Well it's there to help both develop and get over lower-card workers, but for main eventers they won't get anything out of it.
ccgmacc69
Is it possible to have your "B' show have a slightly different product than your main product. For instance, say your main show is shown on Monday evening and its a lil more risky and racy as compared to your "B" show that is shown on Saturday afternoons and is less "adult oriented". Can or will the A.I. allow you to differentiate the two?
rufas2000
The best way to do that would be a brand split. The brand split allows a different focus for each of the brands. It seems that you could have one of your brands featured on the "B" show only but it might have some other effects (workers on brand 2 get upset if they are only on a "B" show maybe). Or you could run your "B" show without the risque angles and risky matches and such. Since Adam said the "B" show doesn't affect the popularity of your fed any negative feedback from the fans has no ill effects.
TheTuckerman
Yeah, brand split seems like the best option if you want to have your shows to have a different focus. When I fire my SWF game back up I'm thinking about doing a split and having the other show on a Friday and for it to focus on high-flying, hardcore action.
