National -> International Tips?

Recommended Posts

I'll probably never get there, but if by some miracle I reach National size with NOTBPW in my dynasty, what's the best way to continue to grow? Carry on running shows in Canada and just aim for TV/PPV deals in the US? Or run a few shows across the border? If the second, any thoughts on how often to do it would be appreciated...

To reach international you must reach a certain level in so many foreign locations. TV and PPV deals are more of a small increment, if you wanted to rush it you'd need to do some shows abroad, America would be easiest for you to expand into due to the spillover popularity. I'd get the TV/PPV and the shows if I were you, although when I was TCW I loaded up on PPV deals and managed to get to International level after a PPV. (I got lucky with an A rated show which seemed to boost my popularity abit)
How in the world did you put on an "A" PPV for TCW?
It's not really hard. Matches in TCW are rated mostly on popularity. Put two over workers that can mesh well in the ring in the main event, get a A rated main event and you have a high probabilty of getting an A show as long as your co-main event did not suck. The rest of the card really doesn't matter that much, just have to make sure you get the basics correct (no overuse, right amount of angle, etc.). Cornell, Keith, Hawkins, Baine, RDJ, all good candidates to get the desired A grade.

I usually get B's and B-'s in my normal shows (which still raises my popularity abit, I've really gotta screw up and get a C to do myself any damage) so getting an A was quite a shock to me aswell. It was mostly a PPV of my main eventers and uppercarders alternating. Uppercard Main Event Uppercard Main Event Last 3 matches were highly rated storylines, avoiding workers with bad chemistry. LOTS of angles, it's how I get my storylines so high, as you're only allowed so many matches against the same wrestlers so often. It does mean now however, that I need to scrap all my storylines and make new ones as they all reached the 3 match limit at the PPV. I think my dark match was Sam Keith VS Gino Montero. I'll probably suffer in the next few shows trying to find out who has chemistry with who as my House Show watch list is already quite big while I try find some new tag teams.
