Quick question about Battle Royals...

Recommended Posts

I've only just bought TEW 2008 and haven't played TEW since the 2005 version. Is it possible yet to book the elimination order for a battle royal type match (Royal Rumble) or even to book who the last 4/2 guys are? Also, how do you set up a tournament such as King of the Ring?

It's been suggested that road agent notes like Keep Strong or Dominate can get people into the last few, but this appears to be coincidence. You have to use your imagination on this one as of yet. I'm not complaining (someone will do that for me, I'm sure) but this must be about the most asked question on the forum. We have got to find a way to pin an answer :p Short answer: You don't - the tournament title is just put on the line in a match of your choice, whenever you want. Long answer: You can book storyline tournaments (I think the default data has at least three tournament storylines) culminating in a final match with the title at stake. It could also be a battle royal, multi-man elimination match or whatever - the important thing is to have the title on the line once in a match during the appropriate month.

Elimination order isn't possible, just the winner. You can, however, tell the game to keep certain workers strong, which will increase the length that they remain in the match. And booking a King of the Ring style tournament is a storyline- just select the appropriate storyline, and plug in who you want to participate. You don't have to have a tournament to award the trophy, though. Just book a match, and put the tournament title on the line, and the winner will be awarded. What you do leading up to that (whether all the matches are at that event, or spread out over previous events, or just imaginary) is up to you.
