Eisen-verse
So, what goes into TV Ratings? I'm sure it's size, prestige and what not... but ever since I started playing my game... TCW has been beating me every week in the ratings war by at least .10. No matter what I do.. .they always beat me. I've advanced booked big matches for upcoming shows, have some strong storylines going (one at an A, a few others at a B). Does things like champions and such go into your ratings? I'm trying to see how I can "right the ship".
Actarus
I wouldn't worry about it if I were you. At .1, they're beating you by 5000 viewers (1 point = 50,000 viewers). Also, check out TCW's TV carrier, and it's coverage (and size) and compare it to yours, and you should have your answer. Despite this, is it still possible to beat TCW in the ratings? To be perfectly honest, I don't know. In '07, yes. In '08, haven't really played with SWF much (yet!), so I'm unsure.
Eisen-verse
Thanks man. Yea, I think they are on a larger TV carrier than I so that's probably it. I suppose I should have checked that before I wrote this. hah. Side note, Love the Andy Samberg/"Chuck Norris" avatar. :D
Outlawjc
I have played a couple months as SWF, and I have only lost one week in the ratings to TCW. And that was the week I forgot to advance book my show.
FINisher
In my estimation it's just about the popularity of your promotion. Atleast with GCG the rating stayed the same untill I got more popular in a region or two, then it increased a bit etc..

Malioc
Well, in my game the best promotion (TCW) doesn't do better than 5.15 so far. That's around 260,000 viewers in the USA, Canada and parts of Mexico. SWF on the other side achieves around 4.7 max, - and they even televise all of USA, Canada, Mexico, UK and Europe. Well... Okay, Japan has a decent number of viewers, too. But overall TNAW (in reality) should have twice the number of viewers just in the US than the Cornellverse has altogether... The Shape
If you're having trouble beating TCW on the thursdays then I suggest you get another show; the debut edition of my SWF Live! show on USA Sports 1 was my first B+ show yet and scored over 4.7 on the ratings, having taken place and been aired during the Saturday late evening slot.
