Everyone has had that special moment in TEW where you give your favourite character the ball and let him run with it, theres nothing as rewarding as seeing your little 0.03kb character run wild in your fed and nothing gives the same amount of joy. For every star made tho there is a star you have destroyed! I've created this thread cos I wanna know what the worst offense of ruining someones popularity has been. For me i took apart my entire babyface main eventers in TCW(altho that was pretty intentional cos they cant work my style: Rahn, Baine, Golden) but on a more depressing note I've also accidently saw the demise of The New Wave(Scout and Guide) and also The Machines( Brent Hill and John Anderson) good workers who should be at least used to get good matches from my main eventers.

Ever since 2005, I seem to subconciously destroy Barry Kingman in every 4C game I play. He just seems so out of place, and bland, that he always ends up losing a lot or getting forgotten about entirely :p I'm trying to make it up to him this time...

I like Barry Kingman for some reason. It was Warren Technique that I always was frustrated with in 2007... he had such a great history in 4C with his Joey Poison title exchanges, but the fans hated him so I never did anything special with him. Glad he's gone this year...

In CGC, Dan DaLay is slipping at the moment. For some reason I never like main event brawlers, and just job them out too many times. Same with RK Hayes when I did NOTBPW. On the Barry Kingman discussion, I stole him from 4C in my attempt to destroy the company, and planned to job him out, but then I found his alter-ego "Snarf the Evil Clown". He is now embroiled in an epic feud with Whippy The Clown, and is rocketing up the roster. Gimmicks rule!

The majority of the AAA roster.. The likes of Kristabel Plum, Bunny, Goodlooks, Sara Marie York (even though I know she's got potential), Jaime Quine with her horrible Psychology stat that I've yet to increase after 14 months of game play.. Hene why I resigned and started my own women's promotion, lol
When I found out that Ricky Dale Johnson had awful chemistry with Tommy Cornell, down the card he went, building up guys like Joey Minnesota and the like :)
RDJ has mic skills and charisma tho, I've found great success with increasing the match/angle ratio and exploiting the wealth of talent TCW has in the entertainment department.

In my TCW game, Joel Bryant & Robert Oxford.....they are good, but I always job them too much. In my MPWF game, Angel de Mexico, for some reason I never push him to the main event in spite of his talent and good momentum, I always job him out to make Chess Maniac and the Cano Brothers into stars. Cique Jr also has the same luck.
Is it Thank You For Smoking? I don't think it is, but it's the closest thing I can come up with. I know I've heard it before though, and for some reason I feel like it's some anti-industry movie. Perhaps, Fast Food Nation?
Thank You For Not Smoking is what it's called.

In my SWF game, this is almost always Steve Frehley. He falls into the rut of having to be the #4 or #5 main event guy. In my current SWF he's behind Bruce, Faith, Vengeance, Remo, and Rich Money. He basically picks on Mid-carders who I'm not looking to move up the card. Same story for Runaway Train. In USPW I tend to depush just about everyone except for Justice and Bruce the Giant. I almost always blow the roster apart and start from scratch. I change Sam's role to manager and he becomes the mouthpiece for Bruce the Giant. Justice usually carries the title for quite a while in USPW, only because there is NO ONE else to put it on.

in my current diary game, despite my booking of Joe sexy to come across strong....he has gone from B- to C in TWO SHOWS! Thats a whole grade for each show...granted he is in a fued with the Bumfholes who are lower on the card and in popularity, but he has been booked to dominate them....just seems odd =S

Road agent notes can only reduce the popularity loss in that case slightly, but clearly he is still gonna lose some. Just hope that they gained enough between them to offset it. I always look for any feuds like that to make the total overness of all the wrestlers concerned increase over the feud eg: Sexy = 70%, Randy = 50%, Zimmy = 50% at the start. If they all end up at 60% each then that is a net gain of 10% (3*60 - (50+50+70) = 10)
Thank You For Not Smoking is what it's called.
Nope. Thank You For Smoking. And Rob4590, the math might not be quite as easy as you make it out to be. It's an awful lot harder to get someone from 60 to 70 than it is to get someone from 50 to 60.
